So this my first Cinderella fanfic, so please go easy on me.
It was a cool evening in France, the beautiful innocent Cinderella was tossing and turning in her bed that she shares with her now husband, Prince Charming, whose real name is Henry Charming. She was having an awful dream about her abusive step-family who kept her as a slave and just treated her so horribly. "No!" She whimpers in her sleep.
Prince Henry stirred awake to hear his wife whimpering, so he immediately sat up and gently shook her.
"Darling, wake up," The Prince softly spoke. "It's just a dream!"
But Cinderella was slapping his arms away, breaking the Prince's heart.
"Leave me be!" She screamed.
So the Prince stopped her arms and held her in his arms. He comforted her while soothing her strawberry-blonde hair.
"Please wake up, darling." He whispered.
Cinderella slowly opens her eyes, still crying.
"Oh Henry," She looks up at him. "It was just awful!" She cried.
The Prince softly kissed forehead.
"Wanna talk about it?" He asked gently.
Cinderella just sniffed. But the Prince knew that Cinderella had a nightmare about her step-family, so he gently lifted her chin up to see her eyes.
"They're not going to hurt you anymore." The Prince promised. "I, nor my father or the grand Duke will never ever let them hurt you ever again."
Cinderella gave him a sad-smile.
"You're safe now, He added. "Especially since you got me."
He leaned down to kiss her on the lips, making Cinderella forget all about her nightmare.
