Sonic the Hedgehog has been free from his captivity in Prison Island, after escaping from the huge explosion, he learns that Chris has been captured and is being held in Space Colony Ark.
Sonic already knew that Shadow was bad news, and he'd be really upset if Chris had gotten injured or even killed by Shadow.
"I won't stop looking until I bring Chris back home." he vowed, listening to the news.
"It seems like everyone has survived the huge explosion from Prison Island, but officers are still searching for the criminal Sonic the Hedgehog."
Sonic had immediately turned off the TV.
"I'm going to go look for Chris." he said.
Amy looks at Sonic worriedly
"Are you sure that's a good idea? The police are still looking for you."
Sonic shakes his head and puts his hands on his hips in a confident manner.
"You forget who you're talking to, I'm the fastest thing alive!"
Sonic then zooms out of the house leaving Amy behind.
Sonic was running around the city, looking around for Eggman or even Shadow. Suddenly, he sees something in the distance.
Something... familiar.
"Chris...?" Sonic asked as his voice was a bit shaky with joy and concern.
Chris's beautiful sapphire ocean blue eyes faced Sonic's emerald green eyes.
Chris giggles before running off into a construction sight.
"Is he doing this on purpose?! He's going to get injured." He exclaimed.
Sonic then rushes to catch up to Chris.
Chris was seen running up the forklift, some construction workers looked up in concern.
"Isn't that Christopher Thorndyke? Why is he doing something so dangerous?"
"Chris!" Sonic immediately ran up to forklift and got up in Chris's face.
As soon as Sonic reached to hug Chris...
He vanished into thin air.
"W-Wha...?! Was that some sort of hallucination?!"
"Over here Sonic!" Chris giggled.
Sonic looks over at Chris standing by a street lamp waving at him.
"Chris? Am I really hallucinating?"
Chris was standing right next to Shadow.
"This is quite strange... am I in space?" Chris asked.
Shadow, with his arms crossed looked over at the confused Chris.
"We call this place Space Colony Ark. It was created by Dr. Gerald Robotnik."
Chris pressed his hands against the glass window, looking at the stars in awe.
"How amazing! I must be the first child in space then aren't I?" Chris said.
Shadow shakes his head and smirks.
"You're not."
Chris turns to look at Shadow, he was a bit shocked yet curious by this statement.
"There was somebody before me?" he asked.
Shadow, feeling like he was backed into a corner decided to stay quiet.
"I uh... have a question to ask." Chris said.
Shadow nods, allowing Chris to ask his question.
"I never saw a black hedgehog before... are you perhaps related to Sonic and Amy in some sort of way?" he asked.
Shadow roughly pinned Chris to the wall, holding him firmly, which caused Chris to let out a soft gasp of fear.
"Don't you EVER compare me to those INFERIOR hedgehogs!"
"I-I'm sorry...! I didn't mean to... please don't hurt me!!" Chris cried.
Chris's pleas to be let go caused Shadow to remember something.

Maria had took Shadow's toy robot and Shadow is chasing her around the Ark.
"Give me back my toy Maria!" He whined.
Maria giggled teasingly as she ran a bit faster.
"Try and catch me Shadow!"
Suddenly Shadow got a bit too angry and harshly pinned Maria against the wall.
"GIVE. IT. BACK." he yelled angrily.
Maria started to cry as she was a bit too scared by Shadow.
"I-I'm sorry! You can have your toy back... please don't hurt me!! I'm really sorry!" she cried.
Shadow immediately let go of Chris, turning away from him.
Chris was taking deep breaths, he was very frightened by Shadow's anger.
He looks back out of the window, wondering how Sonic is doing.
"My, what's got you boys so quiet?" A seductive female voice asked.
Chris and Shadow both looked over to see Rouge the Bat at the doorway.
"Did something happen between you two?" she giggled.
Shadow and Chris shared a look before shaking their heads no.
"I'm just enjoying the stars outside..." Chris said.
Shadow still didn't say anything, he was probably still thinking about his sudden outburst with Chris.
Eggman walks right behind Rouge.
"I'm going down to Earth to get something to eat, what do yall want?" he asked in a gruff voice.
"Taco Bell?" Rouge suggests.
"NO!!" The three boys yelled.
"How about McDonalds?" Bokkun said as he popped up behind Chris.
"Where did you come from?!" Chris exclaimed.
Eggman just shrugged.
"McDonalds it is then, just write down what you want and I'll order it." he said as he gave them a piece of paper and a pencil.
Once they finished writing their orders Eggman left and went down to Earth to go get food.
"Man I am bored, is there some games around here?" Rouge asked.
"I think there are UNO cards in that shelf." Shadow said.
"I guess I can play a few rounds of UNO." Chris said.
Sonic was angry. Everytime he thinks it's Chris it ends up being some stupid hallucination.
"Oi! Get back here kid!!" A familiar gruff voice yelled.
"Knuckles?!" Sonic exclaimed.
Knuckles was seen chasing Chris, but he wasn't sure if it was the real Chris or not.
"Knuckles wait!! I don't think that's the real Chris!" Sonic yelled.
Knuckles turns to look at Sonic, he looked a bit angry.
"What do you mean that's not the real Chris?!"
"Because I have been chasing the same Chris, but it's just been a hallucination. For some reason we're having these hallucinations of Chris, but I don't know why." he explained.
Knuckles calmed down seeming to understand what they're dealing with.
"I have a feeling Eggman is the one behind these hallucinations." Knuckles said.
Sonic's eyes widened.
"Uh Knuckles, I think we're in trouble." He whined.
Twelve Chris's were surrounding the two, holding guns.
"We're screwed!" Knuckles cried.
