Phantom Plasma Season 01 Episode 01
We see that Danny's father Jack was working on a hovering vehicle and closing the compartment before stating "Alright that's it, now we just gotta give it a test run."
"Uh Jack, are you certain that's safe." Maddie questions worriedly about just what they were about to attempt.
"Aw Maddie you worry too much." The Man stated in response getting in and looking at the controls "This baby's got state of the art spirit plane exploration technology, and it's got a super sized cupholder to boot."
"Dad, I'm not so sure about this." Danny stated to them worried about just what crazy thing his father might be thinking of doing.
"You guys need to relax, Banzai!" He'd called back hitting the button to activate the thrusters and launched himself into the Ghost Zone through the portal in their lab.
"Dad, hello?" Jazz spoke into the communications device trying to see if they could reach him or not.
"Whoa, you guys should see this. It's amazing inside the Ghost Zone." Jack stated into the com as he was exploring around.
"Are you nuts? Get back here." She responded telling him to come back already worried about him having gone into the ghost zone.
"Tresspassing in an unauthorized vehicle. That's against the rules." A voice spoke up angry, though they didn't recognize just who this one was that was talking. "You and I have got a problem old man."
"Back off Ghosty!" Jack called out into the coms and they'd heard fighting going on from whatever was happening inside.
"Access of an unauthroized portal, that's also against the rules. I'm gonna have to take in you and your accoplices." The voice spoke as more fighting was going on.
"No way you're getting to my family you Ectroplasmic Abomination!" Jack's voice called and he remotely closed and locked the portal as something had struck against the doors.
More fighting could be heard before the line goes quiet having been cut and the Fenton Family had gone quiet before something began to strike at the portal door violently again and again causing strain on the system and making it start to overload.
"C'mon Fenton you can do this!" Danny then stated to himself and grabbed his mom and sister while forcing himself to go intangible and making both his mom and sister intangible at the same time as the fenton ghost portal exploded taking Fentonworks along with it.
Sometime later people had gathered around where Fenton Works used to be as Danny and his mom and sister were gathering what they could of what was left of their things putting them into a moving truck and he'd gone over to talk with his friends who'd shown up as fast as they could.
"Danny, is everyone alright?" Sam questioned her friend about what had happened worried about him and his folks.
"No. Dad was inside the Ghost Zone when the portal exploded and there's no telling what happened to him. All I know is that he was fightning someone. I was able to get Mom and Jazz intangible before the explosion, they both just chalked it up to being extremely lucky." Danny answered back about what's happening right now.
"Dude, what are you guys gonna do now with Fentonworks trashed?" Tucker questioned about just what's going to happen now.
"Mom said that Uncle Vlad agreed to let us stay with him for awhile, at least until we can get back on our feet and Fentonworks is rebuilt." Danny answered back about where they were going to stay.
"I didn't know you had an Uncle Vlad." His friend spoke about who they were going to be staying with.
"Neither did I, apparently he's my dad's college roommate and they were best friends but haven't spoken for awhile." He'd answered back before hearing honking and turned to see that they were ready to leave in the moving truck. "Guess that's my cute, time to go."
Danny climbed into the moving truck and they'd headed off with what little they could salvage and waved to his friends as they'd left moving off to a trip that took a few days to fully reach but they were surprised by it being a large castle of sorts. There was a man with white hair in a suit waiting for them at the entrance.
"Maddie, you've never looked lovlier, and these must be Jazz and Danny. Welcome, please come on in you must be tired from the long trip. You can unpack your things later come in and rest for now." The man stated to them telling them to come on in and relax.
"Wait, is that Vlad Masters, as in Afluence magazine's Billionaire of the year Vlad Masters?" Jazz questioned surprised to see who was greeting them.
"The one and same." Vlad answered back to them. "Your father and I were college Roommates and best friends, that was until the accident."
"The accident?" Danny questioned wondering just what that was that could have caused them to stop talking to each other.
"I suppose they didn't tell you, but we bult an expeimental ghost portal but something went wrong and it left me with Ectoplasmic poisoning in the form of Ecto Achne. I spent three years in the hospital. Your father never forgave himself after what happened even though I did." Vlad explained to them about what happened exactly.
"Whoa. No wonder Dad didn't often talk about his college days." Jazz spoke hearing about why they hadn't spoken for so long.
"Yes, rather sad really. Come along and I'll show you to your rooms." Vlad had shown them where they would be staying and they were impressed by the rooms they would be able to call theirs. "I've taken the liberty of gathering something for you all to wear, your mother gave me your sizes when we spoke on the phone."
"Thanks." Danny Spoke going into the room that was supposed to be his and found that they even had a private bathroom.
Decided to get cleaned up after not being able to shower for a few days. He'd then gone to check the wardrobe finding that there was different things in his size but some were a little fancy for his taste. He'd come across a dark blue shirt and pair of jeans with new sneakers that he could wear at least and then gotten dressed before heading on downstairs to start unloading stuff.
"Daniel, could you come in here a moment." Vlad called from his studdy as Danny was about to go outside to get his stuff.
"Uh, sure.." He spoke confused by what they might want but went into the study closing the door behind him as he went in.
"Tell me about the ghost that attacked Jack." He spoke wanting to know more about the incident that happened.
"I don't really know, they had a deep voice, and caused the Fenton Portal to overload by beating on the locked door making it explode." He'd answered back not sure what to tell them.
"Did they say anything in particular that would stand out?" The elder man questioned wanting to see if there was anything that might have stood out about them.
"Um.. they kept saying things were against the rules." Danny then stated to him since that was about all he could remember about them.
Taking a deep breath Vlad then says "Walker." surprising Danny to hear that he'd not only known the ghost but knew their name. "He's a Prison Warden inside the Ghost Zone."
"How do you know that?" Danny questioned confused about somehow knowing who Walker was apparently.
"I've had a run in with him myself. You see a small part of my company also builds ghost tech like Fentonworks, and I've built my own portal. " Vlad explained to him about knowing them.
"Wait, if you've got a portal than we can go in an"NO, no we can't. I've had to go through great lengths to hide the portal from Walker and even if we could you wouldn't be capable of handling them."" Danny began to state but was cut off by Vlad.
This angered Danny and his eyes flashed to green with Vlad stating "Ooh, scary eyes." before making his flash to red in response surprising Danny.
"Wait, you're half ghost?" Danny questioned surprised to see that Vlad's eyes could change colors just like his would.
In response Vlad made black rings appear around him and changed into his ghost form stating "I've had these powers for years. If your eyes can flash colors like mine tell me, can you do this as well?"
"Ya." Danny responded creating white rings around himself and he'd swapped to his own half ghost form as well "I can, with the two of us together we could totally handle Walker right?"
"Wrong. But if you agree to train with me I will teach you to better control your powers." Vlad stated to them about teaching Danny how to use his powers.
"Fine, but promis we will find out what happened to dad." Danny agreed about being trained but still wanted to discover if his dad was alive or not in the Ghost Zone.
"I promise. Now, we should help you get unpacked." Vlad then told him saying that they would discover what happend to Jack after the battle with Walker.
They'd managed to get everything unpacked and taken to the rooms as Jazz and Maddie had also changed with Maddie wearing a dark red shirt and some jeans they were loose at the bottom, and Jazz was now wearing a dress shirt and loose jeans as well. They'd just ordered something to be delivered for the night and Vlad had given Maddie enrolment forms so that Jazz and Danny wouldn't have to miss any school, however he left it up to her if she wanted to send them or not.
