Hi everyone, this story is based on an idea that I had, I did not know any of the characters that I wanted to use but I have been watching suits and thought that the characters from this show would be a good fit with this story. I have not written in quite a while so please leave reviews of what you think.
Chapter 1
Donna and Harvey were standing together at the office party in the conference room. The last time they were in here was during the last of the depositions from the Hessington Oil lawsuit. Both Donna and Harvey are happy to have that whole mess behind them and the true culprit behind bars.
"Don't you two look cozy together" Jessica says as she walks up to both of them. Donna could not help but look at Harvey. Even now, as just coworkers and the horror she has had over sleeping with Stephen she is relieved to be at Harvey's side during all of this. Harvey looks back at Donna and locks eye contact, he had made a promise that he would protect her and make Stephen pay and he was able to keep his word to her. He would always protect Donna no matter what.
"Well you know, it is a small room and I am not going to stand around making small talk with Louis" Harvey says in response to Jessica. Jessica smirks looking over at Louis who is talking with Mike and Rachel.
"Be nice, you are a senior partner Harvey" Jessica says as she walks away from the both of them. Donna takes a step away from Harvey to face him better.
"You know, Louis helped play a big roll on our split from Darby, he is due some credit" Donna says.
"Yeah well, we both know how that would go" Harvey says as he looks over towards Louis. Both of them split up around the room talking to other associates, as the night goes on the room begins to clear up. The only ones left seem to be Jessica, Harvey, and Donna.
"Alright well I am calling it a night. Will you both make sure to lock up, we have a big day tomorrow with the our kidnapping case. We have the depositions beginning in a few days and I want us to be as prepared as possible" Jessica says as she walks out the door. Donna and Harvey both stand there at opposite ends of the table.
"Well I have the car downstairs, I can take you home if you want" Harvey says to Donna. She nods in thanks, she would not want to find herself walking home this late at night. Both of them head towards the elevator and down to the lobby where the car is waiting for them. As they approach the car Harvey stops.
"You know what, why don't we walk? I think some fresh air would do me better" Harveys says. Donna turns around and begins to button up her jacket, if they are going to walk she would want to stay warm.
"Okay, that sounds good" Donna says as she walks past Harvey. He always loved that when she did that. It showed her sass and attitude to him. Harvey nods to the driver as he gets back in his car and drives away from the front of the firm.
"You know, you were very brave to go through all of that mess. I do not know how you did it" Harvey says. Donna looks at him in disbelief.
"Why wouldn't I have? I wanted to watch you make him pay for what he did to all of us. I was not going to sit back and do nothing" Donna says.
Harvey looks down and gives a slight smile. He knew she was strong and that she would do anything to be there to help Harvey. As they walk down the road there is not a person in sight, being so late nothing would be open until early in the morning. As they continue Harvey notices two men walking towards them. He has a gut feeling about it and pulls Donna's harm to put her slightly behind him and they come close to the two men.
"Good evening, a nice couple such as yourself should not be out wandering the streets at night, it could be dangerous," one of the men said. Harvey stares the men down keeping Donna slightly behind him.
"Good to know, well if you move we will continue on" Harvey snaps. He keeps his hand tightly around Donna's arm. He fears that this may not be the best situation that they are in right now. He looks over the men. Both are larger built, rough looking like they would know how to fight. He keeps his chest puffed out to remain strong and intimidating to keep the two men at bay.
"Well not quite yet, first things first I need both of your wallets and any kewlery you may have" the other man says as he puts his hand on Harvey's shoulder. Harvey notices the two men looking right at Donna. Without a second thought Harvey takes Donna's bag and drops it in front of the men. He then takes off his watch and pulled out his wallet and throws them on the ground.
"Here you go asshole, take it and walk away" Harvey snaps. Both men are very upset about his choice of words. Donna looks at Harvey, the men could easily take those words out on both of them.
"Harvey watch your words" Donna whispers into his shoulder. Harvey looks back slightly towards her. He eyes her like he knows what he is doing.
"You do not want to mess with us" one of the men say. Harvey rolls his eyes, both men take a step closer to Harvey. Donna watched as the men get closer, she looks around to see if there is anyone walking the streets to see.
"Oh I really do" Harvey says. Both guys smirk and yank Harvey away, Donna steps back and looks around to try and find help but she finds herself bumping into a man she did not see behind her. She tried to move away from him but he grabs her by the arms and throws her into the brick wall right next to them. She smacks the ground with her head and begins to see spots. She can only hear punches being thrown and Harvey grunting as he tries to fight off the two men.
When she regains her sight she sees the third man walking towards her. "Harvey", she yells out. This stops Harvey right in his tracks and he sees Donna laying on the ground, he sees blood running down the side of her face. He tries to lung towards her but the two men grab him and throw him back.
"You take her, we will deal with him," one of the men says. Harvey tries to break past the two men but is outmatched by the strength of the two men. He takes several more beatings which keeps him on the ground. All he can hear is Donna screaming out for him and trying to fight off the man who is throwing her into a black van. Suddenly he could not hear her anymore, all he could hear is the screeching of tires as the black van drove off with Donna inside.
His head, chest, and arms hurt he begins to lose consciousness as the two men begin to gather up the things that Harvey threw down. The last thing he can think of is hearing Donna yell out for him.
I hope that you enjoyed the first chapter. Leave me a review and I will have a new chapter up shortly./strong/p
