Chapter 1: Battle of Coruscant
It would be nearing the end of the Clone Wars as the separatist forces had been pushed back to the outer rim as now the Jedi were now spread more across the galaxy as the last months of the war had intensified as the droid army kept growing in size every day. Needing more and more jedi to fight the endless battles as more were now away from the temple. Meanwhile back on Coruscant Yoda is awakened in his meditation by a sense or urgency. As Mace comes in the room as he tells Yoda "Its an invasion!" As Yoda opens the window of the jedi temple meditation room as he then saw separatist landing crafts descending to the planets surface. Yoda looking over at Mace would then say "Defend Coruscant we must. Push the droid army back we must." Mace nods as he says, "I will go and command of the sky and will get Saesee Tiin to command the space battle." As Mace then heads for his Jedi Starfighter in the hangar bay. Mace walking through the hangar would see Saesee as he walked up to Mace. Walking side by side Mace would say "I will command the fighters on the surface while you Master Tiin will command the force in the space battle." As Saesee nodded while saying "Yes Master Windu!" While jumping into his starfighter to fly towards the space battle as Mace jumps into his starfighter to head towards the battle on the surface. As Yoda then fought with the Coruscant defence force as more and more droids landed on the surface with all types of droids, Separatist tanks and other Separatist military vehicles exiting landing crafts as the landing crafts continue to land on the surface.
Away at the Chancellors Apartment at 500 República he would be sitting in front of his bay window sipping tea as he watches the battle unfold. Suddenly the Chancellor's door would open as Shaak Ti, Roron Corobb a Ithorian jedi, and Foul Moudama a Rodian jedi with a company of clones and two senate guards with Shaak Ti saying "Supreme Chancellor, we must get you to your shelter immediately!" with the Chancellor turning to them while say "But the battle is so far off." With Shaak Ti then urging it by saying "Please Supreme Chancellor we must follow safety protocol and get you to your…" But then is cut off by the chancellor by him saying "I will not cower in the face of this attack." But then would hear metal clacking on the roof as the chancellor then said "What is that… What is that sound?" As Shaak Ti then realized who it was she would shout "We have to go now!" But the metal clacking would stop abruptly as the Chancellor then said, "Hmmm see it was nothing." As General Grievous' head would appear upside down on the top of the bay window. With Shaak Ti seeing it she would say "Chancellor!" As the bay window burst into shards of glass as General Grievous stood behind the chancellor as the Chancellor was on his hands and knees from the glass bursting open. As the Chancellor then looked behind in shock as he then got up on his feet brushing glass shards off his shoulder as he then said "How dare you barge into my private residence! Who do you think you are!?" Shaak Ti would put out her hand as she said "Chancellor I don't think…" As the Chancellor looked over at Shaak Ti he would hold up his hand and say as he interrupted her again with "I will take care of this!" Now The Chancellor turned back to Grievous as he continued with "I am Supreme Chancellor Palpatine of the Galactic Republic, and I will not be bully by any thug who happens too…" But is interrupted by Shaak Ti Force pulling the chancellor into her arms before Grievous could grab him. Because when the Chancellor was talking to him, Grievous was slowly moving one of his arms to grab the Chancellor. With Shaak Ti grabbing the Chancellor as she, Foul, Roron, and two clone troopers would leave the apartment for the elevator while she said to the rest of the clone troopers and two senate guards that were still in the room "Take him!" As the door shut Grievous would snarl as he was annoyed by the situation.
The company of clone troopers would open fire as Grievous leaped in the air as he ignited two of his lightsabers as he leaped towards the clones. Slashing two of the clones as he landed in front of them, then swinging one of his lightsabers to cut a third clone trooper's head right off. As Grievous then grabbed one of the senate guards as he used his foot to grab him by his head as he then smashed him on the ground headfirst instantly killing the senate guard. Shaak Ti pushing the button to the elevator as she and the rest of them would make it to the elevator as they would hear blaster fire, lightsaber slashes, and clone troopers screams of death. But all were now afraid as all the screams stopped suddenly with only being able to hear the button being pushed by Shaak Ti. "Come on. Come on. Come on." Shaak Ti would say as she continued pushing it. But then push the Chancellor behind her as she then said, "Stay behind me!" with the chancellor replying "Yes…" As they stood there waiting for the elevator, the door to the chancellor's office would burst open with Grievous on all fours charging toward them. As Foul uses force push to try to push Grievous back but Grievous would leap on the wall as he continues towards them. With Roron trying to use force push on Grievous as he was coming toward them on the wall. Grievous would leap to the other wall dodging Roron force push, but Shaak Ti sensing where Grievous would leap too would destroy the wall making Grievous fly into the hole in the wall taking him out momentarily. As the Elevator door opened with everyone getting on and it shutting as Grievous got up from the damaged wall.
As the elevator would reach the basement of the Apartment that was only accessible by the Chancellor as it led to the special bunker made for him. As Shaak Ti then directed them all to a tunnel that led to the bunker as she then noticed the elevator activated with her then telling Roron and Foul "Protect the chancellor and make sure to bring him to the bunker as I hold them off." With Roron sad as he then said to Shaak Ti "may the force be with you" With Shaak Ti replying "And you." As the chancellor then would saying before leave "This selfless sacrifice will be long remembered in the Archives of the Jedi Order." Grinning as he left as he secretly had plans for Shaak Ti as the two jedi escorted the chancellor then through the tunnels towards the bunker. Shaak Ti would get into a stand as she then waited for the enemy to open the elevator door as then both clone troopers would stand on either end of her as they pointed their blasters at the door as one then said "We are staying the hold them off with you. General!" As Shaak Ti then grinned as she ignited her lightsaber as she then would say "Get ready here they come!" As the elevator door opened with six Magna guards coming out as the clone troopers would start shooting. The Magna Guards would dodge the clone's blaster fire as they would make quick work of the clones as they quickly attacked them smashing their electrostaffs in the clone's head which would smash the clone helmets killing them immediately. As the six would then set their sites on Shaak Ti as when she blocks one's strike, she would hear the elevator gone off again as there were more coming to join the fight.
As the two jedi continued led the chancellor through the tunnels to the chancellor's bunker as Shaak Ti battled with the magna guards to give the others a huge lead as she blocked them from going down the tunnel after the chancellor. With Shaak Ti slicing a magna guard's leg as when it fell, she would slice it again. Cutting the rest of the magna guard in half as she then turned to guard a blow by another magna guard to her left as the five remaining magna guards were circling around Shaak Ti. But as she was in a lock with one magna guard another one would strike and hit her hand as she then lost her lightsaber with it dropping on the ground as then the elevator door would open with six more magna guards coming out of the elevator to join in the fight. Two Magna guards that were surrounding her would strike with Shaak Ti backflipping behind the magna guard behind her as she then used that magna guard as a shield to the other magna guards. Until a third magna guard would strike down destroying the guard she was using as a shield with Shaak Ti then quickly using the force to pull back her lightsaber as she then guards against another Magna Guard striking from the other side of her. But quickly slicing the guard in half. With the six new magna guard now joining the battle as Shaak Ti took a deep breath before engaging the magna guards once again. As Roron, Foul and the Chancellor would finally make it to the bunker as they would get shocked as General Grievous was standing there in the bunker waiting for them to come. As he ignited two lightsabers and leaped towards the jedi as they both ignited theirs as they guarded his strike. The Chancellor would step aside as he watched in amusement as the two jedi battled with Grievous. Grievous would keep locking with the Jedi but then he would finally release his other two arms and grab two more lightsabers as he then ignited it cutting the two jedi down like they were lamps to the slaughter. Cutting the Jedi as he slashed Foul across the chest then stabbing him in the back when he turned from the slash's force as Grievous then cut Roron's head right off.
Shaak Ti would continue her fight with the Magna guards as she would cut one in half as she then parried three more guard then locking her blade with their electrostaffs. But the magna guards then pulled their electrostaffs away and then started to walk away as Shaak Ti would then feel a disturbance in the force as she felt Foul and Roron's essence disappeared as they are dead now. "No!" She would say as she would get stunned by it as she then rushed towards the bunker to see what had happened. Back in the bunker Grievous would walk up to the Chancellor as he said, "Your mine old man." With the chancellor unimpressed would put his index finger towards Grievous while replying "I'm not afraid of you! You wouldn't dare harm the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. Whatever would your master say?" Grievous would grab the chancellor by his robe as he then said to the Chancellor's reply "You are lucky they want you alive." Grievous would then drop the chancellor as four Magna Guard appeared from the shadows as they then surrounded the chancellor. As this was happening Shaak Ti would arrive at the bunker to see the after math as she saw Grievous had captured the Chancellor. Looking at her falling jedi she would say "Chancellor!" With the chancellor replying "Shaak Ti my dear you have come to rescue me." As Grievous then noticed the Shaak Ti was there with Roron's head next to Grievous he would kick it at Shaak Ti to get her angry. As the head rolled next to her feet, Shaak Ti would ignite her lightsaber and attack in blind rage as she lunged forward in a fit of rage. Grievous wanting that to happen. Would quickly grab her arms before she could make her strike and pull her one hand away from her lightsaber, he would then take the saber with his third hand as he pulled a collar out of his fourth hand. While he was doing it, he would say "Your tired my beauty, you won't be needing this. I got something else for you." Putting the collar around Shaak Ti's neck he would laugh as he released her. Shaak Ti would then try to use the force to retrieve her lightsaber but would get instantly shocked as she cried out in pain with The Chancellor smirking. "Idiot this is a force guard to stop you from using your force abilities. Hahaha ironic isn't it. Cause it was created by the Jedi. Only the one who put it on the thing, can take it off so don't try or your will be shocked. Now get up!" Grievous would say as he grabbed Shaak Ti by the arm and pulled her to her feet as he then continued "Now you will come with us and won't give any trouble. Right?" As Grievous squeezed Shaak Ti's arm until she screamed out "Yes, whatever you say!" Grievous would let her go as two more magna guards would come in as they stood behind Shaak Ti then making her move forward as Grievous then said, "Come my master's have plans for you two." As they then got into a separatist shuttle the magna guards would shove Shaak Ti away from the chancellor and near a window as they then flew towards Grievous flag ship the Invisible Hand. While flying Shaak Ti would look at the window at the now destroyed Coruscant landscape as she then said to herself "I am sorry my fellow Jedi. I have failed."
