Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I do not own Halo and such, 343, and a few others do.

Hazel seemed to think less and less of the Banished the more the Spartan-III fought them. Why? Simple, because it was growing on her mind, something which seemed to be dealt with as it came down.

Hazel seemed to be dealt with for now as she ripped the knife from the brute and then stepped off their corpse, landing in a crouch. She knew damn well that whatever came next was… Odd… Very odd now.

she of all people knew the Banished were busy taking over the galaxy so the UNSC had decided to send in her and the rest of the Spartans to turn the tides. She of all people was silent and deadly and thus she cut through the Covenant damn well.

The banished? They were a little tougher but she still went through them like they were wheat.

She seemed to be thinking of what was growing in her mind before she looked to the side, more Banished soldiers coming through the post.

Hazel hummed as she looked to the side, thinking of it to the end. The war had to be going bad for them to pull her out of retirement as of now.

Hazel ducked behind cover, the group of dead brutes behind her reminding her that she had torn through the Banished and now they were looking for her, she hummed as she looked to the side.

The shotgun she carried in her hands before she tapped her gun on the ground. All of them wished to think as she looked upwards into the sky, her eyes darted all around before she sighed, a deep breath coming from the depths of her throat.

The sniffing of brutes seemed to snap her out as she loaded another shell into her shotgun. She cocked the weapon as the brutes all turned to look at her… Interested ONLY in the fact that such an idea would be easier and easier to think of.

Yes, they would certainly end it all now, and for a good reason. This had to end sooner or later.

She seemed to be eager to think of the next move that was growing being dealt with for now as she seemed to be dealt with as she paused to think.

Hazel seemed to be dealt with as she looked to the side. She seemed to be dealt with for now as looked once more.

Hazel seemed to grasp it as she wanted to. She cracked her fingers and then gunned the next brute as she paused, watching the next one fall before she shot another, collapsing to the ground.

Hazel seemed to be thinking of it as she sighed and then thought of it once more.

"Sierra 302? Position?" They heard before she watched a Karve pass overhead, thinking of it.

She seemed to be thinking of something beyond this mission… She sighed and then cracked her neck, her entire body snapped back and forth as if she was a tree branch.

Hazel seemed to be smirking at what was growing on her mind before she looked to the side, there was something that bothered her to the core of all of it.

She had a LOT more to deal with now and for good reason, now and for all.

She was about to engage them before the sounds of turbines caused her to turn, seeing a group of missiles destroy most of the camp.

"Change of plans, Siera, we need you back…. Brass signed off, collected the intel, and returned to HQ." Hazel heard.

The III was tired… But shrugged, considering it worth it as she turned and went to collect the data. She looked at the streamlined Condor which had been sent to collect her and then questioned just what was going on now.

To be fair? There were a LOT of different details now, intel could probably come second to what was occurring now.

Yes, it would end SOONER or later… Very soon and very much later now.

Hazel hummed to think of what was growing on his mind. She seemed to be thinking of what was happening next.

Hazel hummed before she climbed onto the condor before it came flying upwards and into the sky.

It would not be long until she realized why.
