The vow
Three months after Lady E was defeated. The ghost hunters had finished closing all the open portals, Lady E opened. Jack" I'm going to miss ghost hunting." Parker" Yeah, what are we going to do that ghosts are not hunting anymore, go get ice cream." Jack" Sure, let's go." Douglass" Kids, thanks for helping to stop Lady E months back and for closing the portals to the hidden side, good job." JB" Yeah kids, good job, enjoy the rest of your day."
After JB and Douglass drop them off at their specific location to their homes and they go to their own homes. JB did love studying the paranormal activity coming from Newbury ever since she found out about it while on a college trip back in her day. With no more ghosts to hunt Newbury can be safe, or so JB thought.
A week later at Newbury highschool in Mrs.David's office, strange things were going on. Then everything stopped floating around and dropped to the floor. It scared Mrs. David, but then returned to her paperwork, when all of the sudden a ghost appeared in front of her and then Mrs. David screamed so loud that the school heard her even JB the science teacher. Then the ghost started to speak when JB hurried to the office to find what happened, but when she entered she saw the ghost there floating and trying to speak to them.
Ghost" So this what happened to the Mills. It turned into a school, a place for learning. OH, sorry I scared you Mam, but the hidden side has to warn you Lady V is coming and Lady E is back. There will be more paranormal activity than in the last three months! They know I'm here and are planning on finishing me off! More ghosts are coming to take over the world in less than three days and your students are in danger, especially the one that has ghost hunter blood running through their veins, they will lock them up in the hidden side by a soul binding spell that only a soulmate can break by speaking the vow. Got to go now!" Then the ghost was gone.
Mrs Davis" What was that! And ghost hunter blood running through their veins?!" JB"...!? Mrs Davis ghosts have been hunting Newbury for centuries." Mrs Davis" And how do you know about these ghosts and what is this place called Hidden Side!?" JB "These ghosts were messing with my lab one day and I found out that they call the hidden side their home because that's where they go after they passed away from this side." Mrs.Davis" Ok but who is Lady E and V!" JB" Lady E wanted to live forever while she was alive, her and her nanny were finding soul artifacts to use for making Lady E stay longer and to live without dieing at all.
However I wouldn't know who this Lady V is, but if she is in kahoots with Lady E then our world as we know it will soon be covered by the hidden side!"
Window crashed hahahaha" We got the descent of the Great ghost hunter Von, his great great great great granddaughter Parker Jackson! Oh, your that boy who's always with her and you even where on the Hidden Side when Lady E trapped you there and she helped to get you back. What are you going to do boy when we give your friend to Lady V and Lady E in the Hidden Side!"
Jack" Let Parker go now!" " Hahahaha No see you on the Hidden Side when Parker heart will be frozen in stone, by the way there's no other way to reverse the spell than the eternal ghost hunter vow to break it. That's if your man is enough to stay by her forever……!"
Teacher" Pick phone calls the principal Mrs. Davis about what happened and that her son is in shock while everyone has eyes on him to explain the situation of Parker and what ghosts are doing here."
After Mrs. Davis received the information from the call and was informed of the situation. She hurried to the classroom after calling Parker parents and told them what happened to Parker and that they were going to up their protection to protect the students. Once in the classroom Mrs. Davis helps calm down Jack and takes him back to her office, but JB who was also there told Mrs. Davis to take him to her lab because it was under the school and it was calmer down there than to be up here. She also told her that yes she is Jack mom, but she, the principal and the students were all scared and wanted to know what was going on.
So Mrs. Davis turned on the intercom and calmed down the students at the assembly and for what happened today wasn't normal, she invited the students to not do activities that run long into the night and to always walk home with a buddy of your neighborhood or if you ride the bus get to your stops and to hurry home and lock the doors at night. Then the school bell rings at the end of school for the day.
In the laboratory Jack was still panicking about Parking and that there were ghosts that were there for Parker. Jack" JB! The ghosts hiccup took hiccup Parker hiccup and took her to the hiccup Hidden Side hiccup and that hiccup that hiccup Lady E is back hiccup and there's this new hiccup Lady called Lady V and they are going to hiccup put a spell on her hiccup and that hiccup only an hiccup eternal ghost hunter hiccup vow can hiccup break it hiccup!"
JB" A eternal ghost hunter vow!? Hah! Over here Jack in the ghost hunter guide! However, in this guide it talks about a vow between ghost hunters of the opposite gender that have worked together hunting ghost for a year will be tied together as soulmates, but if a ghost hunter has a ancestors that have fought ghosts long ago their bloodline will be cursed, so that when the day came one of the ghost hunters descent will be taken by the ghost Lady V and become a puppet for the her to live in the real world! The only way to stop Lady V is to make the eternal ghost hunter vow by staying by her side forever!"
Jack" I'll do whatever it takes to get Parker back!" JB" Jack. Do you know that the eternal ghost hunter vow is right?" Jack" Yeah it means to always stay by Parker 's side right?" JB" The eternal ghost hunter vow is a promise you caring though this life and the next! There is one thing that the eternal ghost hunter vows, I haven't read until now and that the promise is also a marriage proposal which is spoken only by the heart!"
Jack'' JB you're saying that the only way to save Parker is for me to propose to her! I'm just 13! I wouldn't be thinking about marriage at my age!" JB" That may be so, but you are the only one that can save her! However, we need to find a gateway to the Hidden Side first! So when me and Douglass find the gateway we'll inform you about it!"
Mrs. Davis came down to the laboratory and heard everything after she ended school for the day. Mrs. Davis" So, my son is the only one who can save Parker? JB" Hi, Mrs Davis and yes, he has been hunting ghosts for over a while now.!" Well the government has put a parminte banned from anything evening to early morning. Thus making school hours change,while the police are looking into the paranormal. However, I informed by Parker's parents that they have contacted the police to look for Parker. Though they aren't ghost hunters like some people in this room, however I am scared of knowing my boy has been running around at night chasing ghosts down and he has to find his friend now and make a big commitment!"
Jack" Mom, let me get Parker back! Please, she's my friend! We have protected Newbury from all kinds of ghosts. Parker and I are a team, we are in this together!" Mrs Davis" I don't want to lose you too son, but if finding your friend is where you are going then be careful and you come home safely, and that goes to you as well JB! Protect the children and bring them home!"
JB" Understand Mrs Davis!" Then Mrs Davis went back to her office to clean up the paper and finish up her work and then headed home.
Meanwhile in the hidden side
Lady V" Welcome Parker my new body and name. Perfect. Now dearie hands up your soul to me!" Parker" Never!" Lady V" Too bad, your body and soul is mine! Your little device can't stop me other than an eternal vow of love. I'm sure that young man is not going to come to get you because I will have driven him away from you by using your body!" Parker" Whispers Jack, don't be fooled by Lady V's trickery." She said while she shed a tear or two.
Lady E" Why, you want to possess her? When you can kill her!" Lady V" That's quite simple really because I need a human to even enter the living side and the only way I can do that is by taking a ghost hunter descent to even get out of here! After all the ghost hunter blood is running through her veins from her great great great great great grandfather Von trapped me all these decades ago! So now I'm paying him back by taking his granddaughter and making her my own puppet to fight her best friend!" Lady E" Von the same ghost hunter trapped me here long ago! However I took control of the Hidden Side and returned to the living side, but Parker and her friends stopped me and weakened me so that I got trapped in a device and put in a storage unit. It wasn't long before the JB of their team forgotten about me and I was able to get out!"
Lady V" Now I'm going to enter my new body!" Fly's over to Parker and enters her body. Parker" No! I will not be controlled by you!" However it was already too late. Lady V took control of Parker's mind. Parker/Lady V" She's quite the feisty one, but nothing I can't handle. However, I do know that if her best friend makes that eternal ghost hunter vow, I'll be banished to the departed realm in chains of iron sulfur!" Lady E'' But that is only if Jack says it from the heart will for it to work!" Parker/Lady V" That's why we must stop them from reaching out to her and destroy Jack on the spot so he doesn't mess with our plans!"
Back at Newbury highschool Jack has been feeling down because he couldn't protect Parker from her ghost kidnapping. While beating himself mentally in his head, but his heart feels more broken because he knows that he and Parker were best friends to each other, now however he learned that they were a little bit more than best friends. He loved her.
Jack" Parker went, that bell rings, I'm coming to get you back!" Bell rings school is let out. Jack hurries to JB Laboratory and prepares to fight ghosts, but when he arrives there. JB informed him there was a portal they didn't even know about until now, but it was in the next town by Newbury called Salem Massachusetts. The portal was located in a big oak tree by the road. When they got there ghosts were guarding the portal, but sooner than they arrived a person stepped out of the portal and there was Parker ... .are what looks to be Parker.?
Lady V attacks them" What ever you are going to do Jackie. Your very own friend is going to end you! Hahahaha….. What No you girl are not getting control back ever! You're my puppet!" Parker" I'll never let you hurt him even if it kills me!" Then Lady V took control again and fought Jack, but she always kept missing because of Parker fighting for control back.
The ghost hunters fought off other ghosts, even Spencer the ghost dog who led them to Parker because he tracked her scent. While Jack dealt with Lady V inside Parker and other ghost hunters fought off Lady E and her army.
Jack" hand Parker Lady V now!" Lady V" As you dearie!" Crash into him, pick him up, spin him to make him sick, and throw him on the ground. Jack on the ground speaks' ' Parker we have been through a lot and we are always there for each other, in the darkness of times especially when you have helped me get out of the Hidden Side. You helped me get to know Newbury better whether it be school or ghost hunting. You were there for me then, and I'm here for you now. Parker, if you can hear in there, then let's make a final bet. If I stop talking to you, wake me up and if I don't hear your real voice I'll stand up and stop you from losing control!" Parker little bit of control again
" Jack, I never wanted this to happen! She is going to regain control again any second now! Hurry, do whatever you can!" Jack " Parker we are best friends, but maybe more than that now if what I'm about to do. Take my hand, my heart, my soul on this night I pledge the ghosts hunters eternal vow to you Parker! I'll protect you with my life cause I love you. Will you be with me forever?" The vow broke the control of Lady V and banished her to the departed realm in chains of iron sulfur and all the other ghosts there. Parker and Jack were found laying down next to each other, all healed by the vow, however their faces now have a ghost mark on their cheek. JB explained that one of the side effects of the ghost hunter vow is that lovers will have a ghost mark on their cheek and that the kids are now bonded forever.
They all drove back to Newbury while the kids slept after a long night fighting and their first kiss after JB and Douglas woke them up from the ground. Another new thing about them was meeting their parents and telling them what happened how they are now. Jack and Parker started dating.
