It's a lovely November morning in Los Angeles. Logan Mitchell gets up and stretches. He looks across the room at his best buddy and roommate Kendall Knight, who is still sleeping. The young brunette departs the bedroom wearing his slippers. He enters the kitchen to begin preparing breakfast not only for himself but also for the other residents of the apartment. Carlos, his vibrant friend, cheerfully dashes over to the couch to watch television. James, a tall muscular teen who shares a bedroom with the young Latino, also appears and joins him on the couch. Finally, Katie, an adorable ten-year-old girl whom they all adore, walks in, cradling her stuffed monkey by Giggles. Kendall is her actual brother, but because she grew up with James, Carlos, and Logan, she views them as being her bonus brothers.

Kendall finally wakes up after 30 minutes and walks inside the room. His mother also enters and begins her day.

"Logan, are you sure that you're all right making breakfast entirely by yourself?" She asks.

"I don't mind at all, Ms. Knight." "I appreciate being helpful." Logan answers.

"That's wonderful. That is the attribute I admire about you. You're exceptionally mindful and loving." Ms. Knight explains.

Carlos declares, "He makes the most delicious grilled cheese, Mama Knight."

"Thank you, buddy. That's very kind of you to say." Logan acknowledges the praise with a smile.

He and Carlos have a great relationship. Logan didn't have any friends when they met when he was six years old in Minnesota since he was a quiet, timid youngster who was inadequately sized for his age and truly enjoyed school. No other child would engage in play with him. Until he met Carlos, that is. His kind and upbeat nature quickly solidified their connection. Carlos presented Logan to James and Kendall. After several ups and downs, the four guys became lifelong friends.

"You're welcome, Logie." Carlos says this using a nickname he uses frequently. Nobody else uses it. Logan is grateful.

They all sit down to eat breakfast before showering and dressing for school. After packing their book bags, they take the elevator downstairs to their classroom.

"Good morning, guys." Jo beams and embraces Kendall. They've been dating for 6 months and are trying to make it in Hollywood as a couple. Logan and Camille share a similarity like this. Although Logan wasn't immediately attracted to Camille, he eventually realized how much he really liked her bizarre yet kind-hearted attitude.

"Good morning there beautiful. What morning wouldn't be better with the coolest chick in the planet?" Logan says, beaming at Camille. Even before they first began dating, he would to call her by that name due to how it made her happy.

"Are you going to share a kiss or go inside the classroom?" Katie is perplexed by their teenage love.

Logan blushes, while Camille breaks out laughing.

"Stop being disrespectful, Katie." Kendall says.

"How was that rude? I'm ten. I don't get teen love. That's something you and Logan have said to me countless times, and it's incredibly offensive." Katie explains.

"I'm sorry we made you feel that way." You know we always do our best for the greatest brothers on the earth." Kendall says.

"I'm confident you'll get there one day." Katie explains.

Kendall rolls his eyes at her sarcasm, and they all enter the classroom.
