Scythe is closing in on Whisper, Bludgeon near her. She gets slammed by a Golden Dog and is pinned down.
Bludgeon lunges at Whisper but is caught by Storm, and she kills him swiftly.
Scythe gets scared and says "She's unstoppable! We can't win this!" And she runs away.

She runs and runs and runs. She runs for an entire day.
When she's satisfied that she wasn't followed, and that she's a safe distance away, she stops, and she realized that she's starving.
With bloodlust comes heightened senses, and she senses a Hare not too far off. She catches it with ease.
She is still hungry but not starving, and her bloodlust is satisfied.

She nears a clearing and takes a peak. She sees creatures she has never seen before.
They look like dogs, but are larger and slender. She watches them for some time, learning their structure and mannerisms.
They seem to share prey equally, unlike the dog packs. She overhears them talking, and hears names like "Thoughtful" and "Shifty."

If she gets spotted, and if they are hostile, it will be over for her rather swiftly. There are too many of them.

She decides she's lurked here long enough, and she had better move on before she is spotted. She heads out, trying to stay in the shadows to conceal her retreat.

She smells a Hare nearby, but decides to avoid it in case it draws too much attention. She's on their turf, their hunting grounds.
It would be unwise to steal their prey, in case they get vengeful. She would, if she was in a pack, on her own turf, and someone stole her prey.

She hears pawsteps, and they are coming closer to her.
She tries to hide, but is pinned to the ground in a flash.
She tries to free herself, but another aids in pinning her down, and they sound an alert howl.
"Wonderful." She mutters sarcastically. She's obviously not escaping this, so she saves her strength for when she can.

Soon, she is surrounded by even more of these... not dogs.
She waits to see what they will do, and she dares not speak in case it agitates them, which may guarantee her death.
They haven't killed her yet, so she may be able to reason with them, if she can find the right words.

One approaches her. She believes it's their Alpha. The Alpha approaches and says "What are you doing here, little dog?"
"Just seeing who my neighbors are. I've never seen your kind before, what are you?"
"We are wolves, and you are trespassing in our territory."
"Oh, sorry."
"This is your first warning. Do NOT come back."
"Ok, ok." She yowls as their Alpha stabs her with a single claw. "Ouch, was that really necessary?"
"Yes."
Well, I guess it's better than what Blade would have done to a trespasser.

She gets up and scampers off. Wolves. A bit bigger than Omega was, and similar in look. He was a half-breed, now I know of what.

She heads north-northwest, towards the mountains. She notes the edge of the wolf territory and decides that somewhere in this forest would be a good place to set up her new territory. She may abandon it later, but at least there will be plenty of prey.

She finds a grove, an encirclement of bushes and trees, and decides that it will be a good spot to camp, for now. She rests, and falls fast asleep.

She dreams of Blade's demise, which she did not witness. She feels Blade has died, but notes that for all she knows, Blade is alive, and may seek vengeance on her for abandoning the battle.

She wakes, but the area around her is dark and shadowy. There are no scents, and no sounds other than her own, which echo.
A female voice, that sounds a lot like Blade, says "You left me to die!" Scythe whirls around to see who spoke, but no one is there.
The bushes that were behind her are gone. She turns around again and the entire glade is gone.
Then from the shadows before her, rises Blade as a Giant Dog, and the shadowy ground ripples like water.
"I am dead because of you! You should have killed her when you had the chance! You had the chance!"
Scythe replies "I would have failed. I would have died! You still would have died. There was nothing I could have done!"
Giant Blade shouts "Traitor!" and swipes at Scythe. She dodges and tries to run, but falls into the shadowy ground beneath her, and wakes up.
What a nightmare. She gets up and takes a look around. It is day once more.
