Hello everyone! Wow. It has been years since I have updated or published a story. Recently I have been craving to write something new because as a fellow fanfiction reader, I realised that there are some stories I want to read but I realise they might not exist. Thus, I have decided to write the type of stories that I would love to read. Please take note that there will be different points of view during the story. I also do not own the characters in the story I am simply using them to create something new! I hope you enjoy this first chapter!
No one's POV
The city that never sleeps, New York, stands tall and proud, boasting its vibrant energy and bustling streets. The towering skyscrapers that scrape the sky are a testament to the city's constant pursuit of progress and innovation. From the bright lights of Times Square to the serene beauty of Central Park, there is something for everyone in this incredible city. The sounds of honking taxis, the aroma of freshly baked bagels, and the diversity of cultures that coexist in harmony all contribute to the unique charm of New York City. It is a city of dreams, where one can truly feel alive and experience all that life has to offer.
The taxi came to a stop in front of The Julliard School, one of the most prestigious performing arts schools in New York City. The sound of honking cars and bustling crowds filled the air, but the small brunette inside the taxi felt a sense of calm wash over her as she gazed up at the grand building. Taking a deep breath, she reached for her bag and stepped out of the car. Her eyes widened in awe as she took in the sight of the red brick exterior and intricate carvings that adorned the walls. She couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nerves bubbling inside of her as she made her way towards the entrance.
As she entered the building, she was greeted by the warm and welcoming feel of the vast atrium, filled with natural light and the sound of pianos and violins being played in the practice rooms. She couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging as she looked around at the artwork that adorned the walls and the state-of-the-art equipment that filled the classrooms and studios. This was it. This was the place where she would further pursue her dreams and nurture her talent. And she knew that with hard work and dedication, anything was possible. With a smile on her face and a spring in her step, the small brunette made her way to her first class at The Julliard School, ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.
The sun was shining bright, casting a golden hue over the campus, but the tall, blonde, and handsome guy making his way to class was in no mood to appreciate it. He walked with his hands shoved deep into his pockets, his gaze fixed on the ground, lost in thought. It wasn't that he didn't enjoy music; in fact, it was one of his greatest passions. But today, he just couldn't bring himself to care about the lesson that awaited him. As he walked, he passed by groups of students laughing and chatting, enjoying the beautiful day.
His gaze was still fixed on the ground, and he barely registered the sound of footsteps approaching him. Suddenly, a voice called out his name, and he looked up to see a fiery red-haired girl walking towards him. She had a confident stride, and her eyes were bright with excitement. As she approached him, he couldn't help but notice the way her hair glimmered in the sunlight, like a flame dancing in the wind.
"Hey, Austin!" she said, her voice filled with energy. "How's it going?" He paused for a moment, "Hey, Mei," he replied, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "I'm doing alright, thanks. How about you?" And with that, they fell into an easy conversation, walking side by side towards their class. As they chatted, he couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this unexpected encounter. Sometimes, all it takes is a chance meeting with the right person to brighten up your day.
He arrived at the classroom door and paused for a moment, taking a deep breath in, and then exhaling loudly. "Not in the mood for class?" He looked at her and shrugged his shoulders. "Not really." She gave him a quick pep talk that sounded like a motivational speech you give at a TED talk. He smiled at her in a way that said he appreciated her words of encouragement. The room was filled with the sound of students chatting, but he barely registered any of it.
Austin meandered past the various tables, finally finding a seat in the third last row from the back of the class, trying his best to focus on the lesson at hand. He was lost in thought, when suddenly, the door opened, and in walked the teacher, accompanied by a small brunette. Austin's attention was immediately drawn to her, and he couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity and intrigue. Who was she, and what was she doing here? As the teacher introduced her to the class, Austin listened intently. She had been awarded a scholarship to study at Julliard and had transferred from Miami Fine Arts School. Austin couldn't believe it. He had always dreamed of studying at Julliard, and to think that this small brunette had earned her place here on a scholarship was truly impressive.
Ally Edgar Dawson took a breath as she stepped forward, feeling a sense of excitement and nerves bubbling inside of her. She had been looking forward to this moment for months, ever since she had received the news that she had been awarded a scholarship to study at Julliard. She couldn't help but feel a sense of awe as she looked around at the state-of-the-art equipment and the talented students who surrounded her. This was it. This was the place where she would further pursue her dreams and nurture her talent.
Ally turned to face her new classmates, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Hi, everyone," she said, her voice clear and confident. "My name is Ally Edgar Dawson, and I'm thrilled to be here at Julliard. I come from a small town in the Midwest, and I've been playing the violin and the piano since I was six years old. Music has always been my passion, and I'm excited to see where this journey takes me."
Ally's eyes swept over the room, taking in the diverse group of students who sat before her. She couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for their talent and dedication, and she knew that she had a lot to learn from them. With a smile on her face, she made her way to a seat in the third row from the front, ready to begin her journey at Julliard.
The tall blonde watched from the back of the room, his eyes following her every move as she settled in. He felt a sudden urge to get to know her, to hear her story, and to see what kind of magic they could create together. As the class began, he made a mental note to introduce himself to her after class. Something told him that this small brunette would be a force to be reckoned with, and he couldn't wait to see what she would bring to his world.
After the teacher finished the introduction, the first class of the day finally came to an end. Austin couldn't help but be distracted by the small brunette who had joined the program. He watched as she gathered her things and headed towards the door. He quickly shoved his belongings into his backpack, also moving towards the door. As she walked past him, their eyes met briefly, and Austin felt his heart skip a beat. He knew he had to find out more about her. Austin made his way out of the classroom and headed towards the hallway. He saw the small brunette walking towards the staircase and quickly made his way towards her. "Hey," he said, trying to catch up. "I'm Austin. I couldn't help but notice you in class. You're new here, right?" The small brunette turned to face him, a hint of surprise on her face. "Oh, hi. Yes, I'm Ally. And yes, I'm new here." Austin smiled, relieved that she was eager to talk. "It's nice to meet you, Ally," Austin said with a sexy smile tugging at his lips. "Do you need help finding your way around the school? I've been here for a while, so I know my way around pretty well. I could even show you some of the moreā¦private spots on campus" Austin said as he winked at her. Ally blinked, shocked by his cocky attitude. "No thanks. I have a map." The excitement within him started to deflate but the wasn't going to show his disappointment. "Common beautiful," Austin said, taking a small step towards her, "I'm more reliable than a map" Ally just looked up at the tall blonde, "I'm going to go with the map, but thanks." And with that, she turned and walked away, leaving Austin feeling a sense of surprise and longing. He knew that he had to find a way to see her again. And he knew that, somehow, he would.
Austin was making his way through the crowded hallway to his next class when he bumped into someone. He looked up, or rather down, to see Ally standing in front of him. He couldn't believe his luck - he had been secretly hoping to run into her again, and here she was, standing right in front of him! She had been searching for the administration office for a while now, but to no avail did she know where to go. She was so focused on the map that she didn't notice the tall figure approaching in her direction. She looked up at the stone-hard figure she had bumped into. "Hey, gorgeous," Austin said, smiling at her. Ally didn't return the smile. Her expressionless face soon turned into one of annoyance. She mumbled a "sorry" and moved to walk around him. "That map doing you any favours?" Austin called after her. "Loads," was all she called back, still walking towards the staircase. "Oh, come on. I'm just trying to help. Don't be so uptight." Ally couldn't believe what she heard. She stopped in her tracks and looked over her shoulder at the cocky smiling blonde a few feet away. "I'm not uptight. I just don't want to waste my time with someone who thinks they know everything." Austin raised an eyebrow, "Excuse me? I don't think I know everything, but I do know my way around this place. You, on the other hand, seem lost as a puppy." Ally bristled at his words, "I am not lost. I just don't need your help." And with those words, she turned on her heel and continued walking in the opposite direction wanting to get as far from Austin as possible.
Austin sat outside on the campus lawn, his eyes scanning the area for something interesting to catch his attention. It was a beautiful day, the sun shining bright, and the air filled with the sound of students chatting and laughing. He was lost in thought when he saw a girl walking past him, her eyes fixed on the building in front of her. He couldn't help but notice her beauty, the way her hair flowed in the wind, and the way her eyes sparkled in the sunlight. "Hey there, beautiful," Austin said, his voice dripping with confidence as he stood up and walked towards her. Ally tried to ignore him, pretending like she didn't hear him. She quickened her pace, but he followed closely behind, determined to engage her in conversation.
"Where are you headed?" he asked, a smirk on his face. Ally rolled her eyes, trying to brush him off. "I'm just trying to get to class," she replied, her voice laced with irritation. Austin chuckled, not deterred by her resistance. "Well, I was hoping I could walk you there. You know, be your knight in shining armour." Ally scoffed, her eyes narrowing in annoyance. "I don't need your help," she said, her tone sharp. Austin raised his hands in surrender, a smile still on his face. "Alright, alright, no need to get defensive. I just thought we could chat for a bit." Ally shook her head, her eyes flickering with annoyance. "Who says I want to talk with you?" she said, her voice cold. Austin's smile only got bigger as did his irritation. "Everyone wants to talk with me." He said matter-of-factly. "I'm good company."
Ally couldn't keep herself from letting out a small laugh. She couldn't believe how arrogant this son of a bitch is. "If you haven't already noticed," She said not breaking her stride, "I'm not everyone." Her words took him by surprise, and he stopped walking beside her. He watched as she walked away, his eyes fixed on her retreating figure. He knew he had come off too strong, but he couldn't help himself. There was something about her that intrigued him, and he was determined to find out more. As he watched her disappear into the crowd, he couldn't help but wonder what it would take to make her notice him.
And that's a wrap for the first chapter. I hope you enjoyed it and if you have any suggestions or scenes you would love to read then please pop me a message or leave a review.
