Many people have been to the ocean as a mode of transportation, history, and the very existence of life itself. Yet the very waters stain the blood of mankind's creations and crew as they fought against each other. The sounds of artillery fire, the sight of sunken ships broken into pieces surrounded by fire, and the screams of the stranded sailors did not stop the sickness that crept up their throats. Clinging only onto a life raft, blood, bruises, cuts on his face, and burn marks were hidden away by his curly black hair, eyes blue like the Atlantic Ocean and it was only him that survived the attack. His eyes darted to a dark figure walking toward him, her eyes glowing yellow, her hair white, and dressed in a general uniform. It made her look professional and a combat veteran who had won many battles. She aims her longbow at him; the skies turning blood red, and purple portals opened up behind her revealing alien ships from another world.
He looked at the woman who aimed her bow at him, struggling to breathe because of the lack of blood then she lets go of her arrow as he screamed,
"WHO THE HELL ARE-"
-YOU!?"
The young man exclaimed in fright but hits his head at the bunkbed full force and falls back down, wincing in pain, "Good morning, sleeping beauty. nice to see you are awake from your nightmare. Joshua, you know how the drill sargeant gripes about you being a heavy sleeper."
One of the sailors told him and snickered softly before leaving,
Yeah, right after he gives me the boot up the ass and gives me the hard work, then I'll ask for a vacation at the sea.*
Joshua Murray is a private, age 25, 6'1, wears black rim glasses, black hair, and a loner whose stationed in Honolulu Hawaii, Pearl Harbor. got dressed in his attire of camouflage and white T-shirt and ran out for his daily exercise right before training began. He took a detour into the Arizona memorial where the ship and her crew slept. He goes on his knees and prays to the crew not only to Arizona but to the many other ships that died in the attack on Pearl Harbor. He sits up quickly goes back to his morning run and runs past the USS Missouri giving it a salute while double-timing his running.
The physical and weapons training went great except for the discipline part where his sergeant was always barking at him and saying rude things due to his lack of energy and being able to hit his targets. It was what he signed up for in the Navy. he had to take another few hours of toilet scrubbing duty and while he scrubbed them his dream resurfaced in his mind
*What the hell even was that? who was that woman?*
He remembers what she wore on a captain uniform, a flight deck with the insignia EN on it,
*where have I seen it before?*
After getting done scrubbing, he started making his evening journey on the island but made a stop at Hickam Beach; he let out a small sigh on his lips. He exhales the salty ocean air taking a step closer to the crashing waves hitting against his boots, opening his eyes he freezes when he sees a figure out in the water making him take immediate action taking his phone out of his pocket and leaping into the water, swimming towards the figure but froze when getting closer to see it was the woman in his dreams. he shook his head then begins pulling her back to the beach struggling to get her there but with the waves helping them they made it to the shore.
Josh panted softly and coughed, grabbing his phone from the sand, and started to dial 911 while he did compressions on her to check for any response. After doing another chest compression she starts coughing up water and pants softly,
"She's awake and breathing on her own! I'll bring her to Naval Health Hospital."
He hangs up the phone, and goes over to check on her,
"Glad I was here to help you ma'am. Private Joshua Murray of Pearl Harbor."
"My name is USS Enterprise CV-6."
Loud sirens are heard from the base as well as the sound of plane engines echoing in the evening sky to see Japanese fighter pilots diving down toward them,
"We gotta go!"
Josh helps Enterprise struggle to get up from the sand to get somewhere safe but get stopped by someone
"Grey Ghost... at last, I will have my revenge on-"
The white fox-eared girl looked at Joshua and analyzed him to which her face gave a look of disgust and grabbed onto him,
"YOU! YOU ARE THE DESCENDANT TO CAPTAIN GEORGE MURRAY! The person who ordered the dive bombers to attack me and my sisters!"
She tightened her grip around him, struggling to breathe because of her tight grip around his neck,
"I will end all who captained the grey ghost!"
She gets hit with a fist across her face and lets him while she is sent flying back into the water gasping for breath and sees a hand reach out to him,
"No one touches my crew..."
Enterprise said and helped him up while the alarms continued to blare Tomahawk missiles and close-in weapons systems fired onto incoming aircraft while civilians and others ran past them in fear and trying to get safe from the battle raging at Pearl Harbor. After they took care of them he immediately heard the wails of a little girl,
"I want my mommy!"
Josh runs toward the screams of the little girl to help reunite them with her parents, he freezes when he sees the white fox holding onto the little girl and smirks wickedly at the sight of him while he aims his M1911 at her,
"You must not recognize me...I am aircraft carrier Kaga of the Sakura Empire."
"Kaga..."
A black-haired fox girl gently floats to the ground wearing a flaming runway on her arm and a gentle smile on her face,
"Sister Akagi! I found the person...the very captain who had sent the planes, who sunk me and burned you into the ocean..."
While the two were distracted; Joshua whispered to the little girl to stomp down hard on her foot to get free,
"We should kill him then go after the Grey Gho- OW!"
She lets go of the little girl as she runs toward Joshua for safety by picking her up and running down the road and away from the two.
Enterprise struggled to keep herself together after not getting any repairs done to her before she ended up in this strange world. she hears the sound of footsteps running toward her and sees Joshua carrying a little girl in his arms as two people are waiting behind Enterprise,
"Maria!"
The woman exclaimed happily as Joshua handed the little girl over to them with tears falling down their faces. The moment is short-lived when he hears the sound of wailing planes getting closer to them,
"Dive bombers and Fighters coming toward us!"
Enterprise exclaimed loudly in distress and quickly escorted the parents out of the way with the others and headed toward a shelter but were separated by the family, she summons her bow and pulls back an arrow while Joshua aimed his M1911 at the two sister carriers walking toward them,
"This is your last warning to surrender!"
Joshua exclaimed loudly to them who continued walking toward them which makes him feel uneasy about this situation, the two darted towards them and they started to fire upon them and due to their speed, Josh gets grabbed and slammed down to the ground by Kaga vomiting out blood onto himself. He kept a grip onto her and aims his pistol at her firing at her but didn't even wounded her. So, the only thing he did was spit on her face with a mixture of blood and spit on it making her scream in disgust while Enterprise dealt with both Akari and Akagi while he succumbed to blacking out from the pain and loss of blood
