"Bye, Alice. Dont forget to clean the kitchen." the woman said.

"I wont forget Mom." Alice said as her mother closed the door.

She rolled her eyes and groaned.

She brudgringly headed to the kitchen and sighed. "May as well get it over with."

She had just finished emptying the dustpan when there was knock at the door.

Gasping in delight, she ran towards the door.

Opening it, she greeted her friends. "Hey guys and gals!. You ready for the Stabathon?"

"Are we ever!" Terrance said." followed by the others's agreement.

Everyone filed in through the doorway with Tyler carrying Sarah and May carrying her wheelchair.

May unfolded Sarah's wheelchair and Tyler placed her in it.

"Where's Paul? "Alice asked.

"He couldnt make it." Tyler said. "His father's car broke down and he had to help."

Just then they could hear the screech of tires coming from the street.

Alice opened the door and poked her head out as two people ran up the steps.

"Hey Kyree." May said.

"Hey guys!" Kyree said eagerly. "Everyone. I want you meet my new friend Brooke Maddox. She transferred here from Lakewood."

"Brooke. I want you to meet Sarah Carpenter, Tyler Harerra, May Grant, Alice Jenkins, Jane and Frank Winters and Terrance Turner." Kyree said.

Everyone voiced their hellos, plus the boys gave Brooke some cat calls.

"Lets go order the pizza." Frank said, licking his lips.

Alice laughed and beckoned everyone to follow her.

She grabbed a notepad and asked everyone what they wanted.

"Pepperoni" Tyler and Jane said. May, Frank and Terrance wanted Sausage. "I already got your pineapple and ham on the list, Sarah." Alice said as everyone made faces.

"Can i get what Sarah is having, please?" Brooke asked. Alice nodded.

"Sarah turned her wheelchair around to face Brooke.

"You like pineapple and ham too?" she asked.

Brooke nodded. "Its the best. I dont understand why people hate it so much."

"Because, its disgusting." Terrance said.

Alice grabbed her cell phone and got on the doordash app.

Jane walked up to Brooke. "How are you liking Woodsboro?" she asked.

"It's a great quaint little town." Brooke said.

"What made you leave Lakewood?" Frank asked as he grabbed a can of pepsi and popped the lid.

"A murder spree." Brooke said.

Everyone stared at her.

"Murder spree?" Alice asked.

"Yeah. 27 years ago, a high school student named Brandon James killed 7 people in one night before being shot dead at a lake by police." Brooke said. "Then almost two years ago, two people named Piper Shaw and Kieran Wilcox went on a rampage in Lakewood that lasted almost a year."

"Sorry to hear that. We have our own killer history. Every ten years or so, some fool dresses up as Ghostface and kills people." Frank said.
