Boruto and Sarada had been madly in love since they were teengers, but Sarada's father, Sasuke, wasn't so keen on letting Boruto near his little girl.
Boruto asked him for his blessing when they were 18, because he knew Sasuke was one of the old style men.
Unfortunately he said or better to say screamed angerly "NO!".
Boruto is Narutos son. Of course he wouldn't let him marry his girl!
When Boruto asked for his blessing for the second time, Sasuke flatly refused again, pushing the two further away.
In a desperate attempt to finally be together, Boruto and Sarada decided to run away to get married.
Buying a dress and suit in secret, they snuck out in the middle of the night and traveled to a nearby village to proclaim their love in front of a registrar.
With the marriage confirmed and rings on their fingers, Boruto and Sarada returned to Saradas and her parents' home, eager to show Sasuke that nothing would stop them from being together.
Unfortunately, Sasuke still refused to accept it.
Sarada's mother Sakura saw it differently, but she didn't want to argue with her loved one.
Sasuke refused to even speak to them and simply closed the door when the newlywed couple stood in front of him.
Boruto and Sarada had to fend for themselves for years, but with hard work and determination, they succeeded.
They owned a house and soon had two wonderful sons. Sarada even became hokage and Boruto her assistant.
Despite their bad luck with Sasuke's blessing, Boruto and Sarada were able to live a happy life for themselves and their children.
Time went on, and as their boys grew up, Boruto and Sarada's love for each other remained strong.
After years of separation, Sasuke heard the news about his grandchildren he didnt know of.
The two boys were walking through the streets when he did too.
He heard someone saying their names and... "Uchiha."
Sasuke decided to get to know them.
After all, they were his girl's kids.
He just didn't like that they were Borutos too.
After a long conversation between him and his daughter and her lover, he was allowed to meet his grandkids.
He also knows now, that his wife, Sakura never let go of her daughter. She was there for her all the time. Sasuke can't be mad at her. She did the right thing, he knows:
He was an idiot.
Spending time with his grandchildren seemed to change Sasuke's mind, and in no time at all, the family was whole and happy again. Boruto and Sarada were free to love each other without any obstacles between them, and for the first time ever, Sasuke had given his blessing...
