Max Goof was doing very well with his college life. He was winning a lot of College X Games Championships as well as a lot of other college sports championships like football, soccer, basketball and swimming among them, he was doing well with his studies, he was playing great parts in awesome college drama productions and he was the most popular college guy, especially with getting a lot of ladies' attentions, among the many things he was achieving in Spoonerville College. But despite all his success and popularity in college, he wasn't feeling happy.

The reason Max was feeling very sad was because his very best friends PJ and Bobby weren't with him at Spoonerville College anymore. They had to leave college. Bobby had to leave because he had to go and live in St. Louis where his ex-girlfriend Stacey lived because he accidentally impregnated her when they caught up with each other during last year's spring break and he was going to be the father of her child, so he had to go and do his bit for them. So Bobby made his bed in that and he had to lie in it, but PJ had even less choice. His dad Pete was opening a new wood shop that would sell all things to do with wood, like wooden seats, wooden frames, logs and kindling for fires and wooden sculptures among them, in the city of Washington, D.C. and he wanted his son to be his business partner with him. Both Max and PJ knew that Pete wanted his son to be his business partner just to save money and Max knew that PJ would take orders from his dad without question. PJ didn't really want to leave college, but Pete was very manipulative and forceful, so he had no choice but to go with him.

Max missed both PJ and Bobby, but he missed PJ the most. Not only was he his very best friend since they met when they were both eleven and a half, but he was his very first friend and they had been like brothers to each other since. Max knew they would always be friends until the day they die, but it had been a month since PJ left and he wasn't handling it very well. He knew that it wasn't PJ's fault at all, but that didn't change how much he felt about it. On the outside, he could put on a happy face to the other college students and the teachers, but he was struggling inside. Though he was very popular in college and he had plenty of friends and a lot of ladies flirting with him, life without PJ didn't feel the same. He missed doing everything with him, especially the College X Games. Even though he had new teammates and they were very talented for the games in their own special ways and they did help him to win more championships and he would always be grateful for them for that, it didn't feel the same when he was doing them with Bobby and PJ and he felt more like a coach to his new teammates than a real friend.

Max was sitting alone on the bus as it took him and his college mates to Clearwater, Florida for Spring Break. He couldn't even look forward to that all because he couldn't even share this experience with his best friend PJ. He almost didn't want to go and was consider cancelling it, but it was his dad Goofy that made him reconsider. Goofy told Max that he earned this break for doing so well in college and moping and dwelling on PJ having to move away wouldn't do him any good. So in the end Max went on this trip, but he was still unsure whether he made the right decision or not.

"Hey, Max, is that seat taken?"

Max looked to see PJ's former beret girlfriend Lucy standing next to the empty seat next to him. "No," he replied. "Go ahead, Lucy."

"Thank you." Then Lucy sat down next to him. "How are you doing?"

Max sighed. "To tell you the truth, Lucy, not great. It's just I still really miss PJ."

"So do I." Then Lucy started to break down into tears. "So do I, Max."

Max hugged her and he started to cry too.

Max and Lucy didn't stop crying until the bus finally arrived in Clearwater and parked at the big four-star hotel that they and their college mates were staying at.

"Well, thank you for comforting me, Max," Lucy said, as she got up from her seat.

"No problem, Lucy," Max said, as he got up from his seat.

Then they joined the rest of their college mates in grabbing their luggage from the bus, checking into the hotel, getting their hotel room keys and heading to their rooms.

As he found his room, Max noticed that Lucy's room was right next to his. Then he went into his room. He liked the room he was given. He liked the big bed, the big TV, the big balcony with a view of Clearwater Beach outside his window and he liked the big bathroom.

After he finished unpacking his suitcase and freshened himself up, Max went to Lucy's door and knocked on it.

"Hi, Max," she greeted, as she opened the door. "Do you like your room?"

"Yeah, I do," he said. "Do you like yours?"

"Yes, I do," she replied.

"I'm going to get some coffee," Max said. "Do you want one? I'll bring it here to you if you don't want to leave the hotel."

"No, thank you, Max," Lucy said.

"Okay, then." Then Max started to turn away. Then he heard a door slam behind him. He turned and saw Lucy approaching him.

"I'll come and explore Clearwater with you," she said.

"Cool. Let's go, then."

Max didn't expect Lucy to join him nor did he expect her to hold his hand for comfort. He thought she was doing all of this because she missed PJ, but he was happy to help. In fact, her being with him and holding his hand started to make him feel better for some reason he couldn't quite work out yet.

After exploring a bit of Clearwater, Max and Lucy went to a small café. Max paid for all the meals. He had a burger and fries, while Lucy had a pepperoni pizza and they both had coffees.

"This is really delicious, Max," Lucy said as she took her first sip of coffee. "Thank you for this."

"You're welcome, Lucy." Max noticed that she was still upset that PJ had to leave, so he decided to tell her how much of a great friend PJ was and how he was like a brother to him and all the amazing adventures they had together from when he moved to Spoonerville with his dad up to when PJ had to drop out of Spoonerville College.

Hearing those wonderful stories about PJ cheered Lucy up a lot. Then it was her turn to tell Max stories of how much of a good boyfriend PJ was. Before she met him, she wasn't into relationships, but when she met him and amazed her with his poetry and dancing, that all changed. She was glad she started a wonderful relationship with him and she was very grateful all the times she spent with him. Her only wish was that her wonderful relationship with him could have lasted longer.

"Well, here's to PJ," Max said, holding his cup of coffee.

"To PJ," Lucy agreed, holding her cup. "I hope he has a good life." Then they tapped their cups and drank to PJ's good health.

"Thank you once again for a lovely night out, Max," Lucy said, as they reached their hotel rooms.

"You're very welcome, Lucy," Max said.

"Say, Max," Lucy said. "I really enjoyed spending time with you tonight. Could you spend more time with me?"

"Sure," Max said. "Shall I call you when I'm going for breakfast tomorrow?"

"I'd like that very much," Lucy replied. "Well, goodnight, Max."

"Goodnight, Lucy," Max said.

Then they both went into their rooms.

As promised, Max took Lucy to breakfast at the hotel buffet the next morning and that was only the beginning. After that, they spent most of their time together on their spring break trip. They would spend a lot of time on Clearwater Beach. Wearing her black bikini, Lucy would sunbathe on her dark purple beach mat and either read her favorite books of poetry or watch Max, wearing his green swim shorts, surf, windsurf or kitesurf on the waves. Whatever Max did on the waves, Lucy liked watching him. She thought he was very talented as much as he was sexy.

One day, Max, wearing his red swim shorts, and Lucy, wearing her white bikini, went jet-skiing. It was Max who rode the jet-ski while Lucy sat behind him and held onto him for safety, but it was more than just for safety.

One day, Max and Lucy went on a speedboat ride and Max, wearing his orange swim shorts, went water-skiing and wakeboarding. Wearing her dark purple bikini, Lucy didn't join him in those water sports, but she did watch him as a spotter. She did watch him for safety, but she was amazed at his skills as she watched him. What they did together afterwards was tubing and paragliding behind the boat and they enjoyed doing those activities.

Another day, Max, wearing his light blue swim shorts, and Lucy, wearing her dark green bikini, took a boat to the Florida Reef and they explored it by scuba diving. They saw many beautiful things, including many corals, lots of marine life and plenty of sunken ships.

The rest of the time, they were exploring the rest of the city of Clearwater. They enjoyed shopping, seeing the sights and trying different foods and drinks at different cafes and restaurants. But what they liked most about this spring break trip was spending time with each other.

One night, Lucy asked Max to come into her hotel room. She didn't say what for, but he decided to go anyway because he had insomnia that night for some reason he couldn't work out. He knocked on her room's door. It opened and he was amazed when he saw how sexy Lucy looking in her hotel's black dressing gown.

"Come in, Max," she said flirty.

Max went in and closed the door behind him. Then he was amazed when he saw Lucy take off her dressing gown and revealed her sexy purple bra and thong. "Wow! Lucy, you look very sexy, but why are you doing –"

Max didn't finish his question because Lucy wrapped her arms around his body and kissed him on his lips. "This is your reward, Max. For looking after me when PJ had to leave. So thank you." Then she continued to kiss him passionately. As she did, she helped Max take off his red shirt, his blue pants, his brown shoes and his white socks. He was only wearing his white underwear.

Then Lucy dragged Max to her bed and they lied on it and continued their sex.

"Wow, Max!" Lucy cried. "I knew you were very good at many things, but I never knew having sex was one of them."

"Thanks, Lucy," Max said. "And I never knew you were so good at it yourself. You've really surprised me."

"Thanks."

That night wasn't the only night Max and Lucy had sex with each other; they continued to do so every night on Spring Break. They continued to do so every night when they arrived back at Spoonerville College.

"Now, let's take it to another level," Lucy said, one night as she and Max were having sex in her dorm room. "Be a good boy and help me take my bra and thong off, will you?"

Max gave her a sexy smile. "With pleasure." And he unstrapped her bra and took her thong off her. Then she helped take off take his underwear off. He was now completely naked, apart from the condom he was wearing over his penis. He wore it so he wouldn't get Lucy pregnant like Bobby did to his ex-girlfriend Stacey last Spring Break. Anyway, Max and Lucy enjoyed having sex with each other.

"I've had plenty of sex during my life, Max," Lucy said, "but this is the best one I've ever had during my life, so thank you for it."
"Thanks, Lucy," Max said. He didn't know if that meant the sex he was having with her was better than all the times she had sex with PJ, but he didn't want to think too much about it because he was enjoying every sex time he was having with Lucy.

One day, Max received a letter from PJ. He read it with Lucy.

'Dear Max,

How are things? How's college life going for you? How's Lucy doing?

Life in Washington D.C. is good. My dad's wood business failed, but I got a new job and all on my own – which is being a cook in a five-star restaurant. In fact, I've been promoted to the sous chef.

Also, I have a new girlfriend. Well, it's actually an old girlfriend. It's Rose. Rose Deckenbloom, my old girlfriend from Spoonerville Middle School before she and her family had to move to New York.

Even though I'm enjoying my new life, I still miss you and Lucy. I hope you and Lucy are doing very well and you guys are still enjoying college and I still wish both of you the best of luck for the future.

Best regards,

PJ.'

Max wrote a letter back to his best friend telling how that both he and Lucy were still enjoying life in college (they didn't mention about the sex they were having together) and how much they missed him, but they were happy that he was having a good life and that he was back with his first girlfriend Rose.

Some days later, Max received a letter from Bobby and how he was enjoying his life in St. Louis with Stacey and their new-born daughter called Paris and he was talent scout for a recording label and he was finding a lot of future superstars and how Stacey was a successful manager at the most expensive and popular hotel in the city.

Despite seeing each other a lot, whether it was Lucy seeing Max in the College X Games or playing football or Max seeing Lucy at the Bean Scene and doing her poems or both of them going to each other's dorm rooms and have their special fun, neither of them could call what they were doing being in a relationship; it was more like comfort sex, but they both needed it and they were glad that they did it with each other when they did because they felt better for it and they felt more confident for their next relationships when they would take their own different paths after they graduated college.

On Graduation Day, Max and Lucy said goodbye to each other for the last time, they wished each other well for their lives, careers and relationships, thanked each other for the comfort sex they needed to help move on in their lives and they kissed passionately one last time before they went their separate ways.
