A/N: This is the start of a small series of drabbles and one shots from the POV (mostly) of my third (!) Tav. I'm hoping to write something little alongside the play through as kind of a diary on the part of Brennus himself.
I hope that you like it, and that you stay safe and hydrate!
Brennus wasn't sure of much lately.
All he could feel was blood beneath his finger tips, and the ever constant throbbing behind his eyes that he knew would never go away until the tadpole itself had been dealt with. There was a migraine building as he watched the flames from the ship crash in the far off distance.
And then there was Brennus. He couldn't even be sure that that was his actual name, Brennus, considering it only came to him after seeing a raven flitting about the ruins of the crashed nautiloid.
How it hadn't been killed by an intellect devourer, he couldn't be sure.
The name at least, for now, suited him. It spoke of how he wished for his freedom to be able to fly about when and where he wished. The freedom for a fresh start.
Brennus had no memories, nothing that he knew that tied him to anything or anyone, but he felt that his past would eventually catch up to him and when it did he wanted to be able to fly away and be set free from whatever expectations the past surrounded him with.
He could only hope that whatever his future had in-store for him that this tadpole could be removed posthaste.
A/N: Finally BG3 is available on Mac and honestly since that day I haven't really stopped playing it in between work and study (and oh boy is that not going well, but definitely not for a lack of effort on my part). Admittedly, it's probably not my best writing but I've been having a real struggle with writing anything lately and that's part of the reason why uni isn't going great lately.
