Cut to the desert, where, in a similar style to Team Sonic's intro cutscene in Sonic Heroes, Sonic the Hedgehog was zipping through the desert.
SUDDENLY, A voice called him. "SONIC!" it called. Sonic stopped running, and turned to see who had called him.
And.
When Sonic saw who called him, he soon wished he hadn't.
It was his fangirl-obsessed lover, Amy Rose!

GAMEPLAY FOOTAGE: [Background Music: 'Follow Me [Instrumental]' from Sonic Heroes]
On Green Hill Zone, Amy jumped in from the foreground, waved, and got out her hammer, preparing for battle. then, She got to battling Villager, Isabelle, Lucina, and Pit, by waving her Fortune cards on them, like in 'The Final Horizon DLC' of Sonic Frontiers.
Then, she took on to battling Lucario and 3 Jigglypuffs on Pokemon Stadium 2. by jumping & swinging her hammer, she clobbered them.
On the Peach's Castle 64 stage, Amy leapt up above Mario & Luigi, and twirled her hammer, gliding over them.
On Arena Ferox, Female Byleth did her Down Special, and got her weapon stuck. Amy took this moment to use HER down special on Byleth, sending her flying.
Then, Amy rode a small version of the escape balloon from Sonic Adventure over Fourside.
On Isle Delfino, Amy came by, followed by 3 other copies of her, in different colours - one had a green coloration, one had a yellow coloration, and one had a blue coloration.
Then, on Green Hill Zone, Amy appeared in front of Kirby.
BUT.
This Amy was her CLASSIC Self, as seen in Sonic Superstars!
CHARACTER SPLASH: 'CLASSIC AMY BREAKS BOUNDARIES!'
So Classic Amy set to work battling Kirby. Kirby swallowed her, and gained her ears, hair, and headband.
on the Omega Version of 3D LAND, Classic Amy grabbed a Metal Box item and turned silver metal
On the Golden Plains stage, Classic Amy collected 100 coins, and turned gold.
Then, Amy, now back to her modern appearance, faced off against Samus, Isabelle, and Female Villager, on a stage resembling Ocean Palace from Sonic Heroes. Sometimes, The KAO rocks rolled across the stage, damaging fighters heavily.
Suddenly, Amy leapt up and broke a Smash Ball, and then she activated her Final Smash. She leapt up into the air, and brought her hammer down to the stage very hard. This creates a small pink column before forming a pink dome of energy that expands until it envelops the entire battlefield, before finally dispatching. Also, the 3 aforementioned fighters were in said pink dome of energy, getting heavily damaged, then they were launched.
Amy brandished her hammer, and raced towards a panic-strucken Sonic, shouting, "Here I Come, Sonic!"
The screen faded to black, with the copyright info appearing onscreen.

Palette 2: lime green Dress with white rim, dark green Headband, and shoes, pale green Hair, metallic green bracelets. Amy's hammer is coloured like the Long Hammer from Sonic Adventure. [Green Team]
Palette 3: light blue Dress with white rim, dark blue Headband, and shoes, pale blue Hair, metallic blue bracelets. Amy's hammer is coloured blue and light blue. [Blue Team]

Moveset:
Standing attack: A three-hit combo with her fortune cards
Side Tilt: Swings her fortune cards
Up Tilt: throws fortune cards up above her
Down Tilt: A quick downward strike with her hammer.
Dash attack: runs and spins, twirling Fortune cards around her
Neutral Air: Spins around, twirling her hammer.
Forward Air: a forward kick
Back Air: A backhand swing with her hammer
Up Air: twirls her hammer upwards.
Down Air: Does a Card Stomp.
Side Smash: swings hard with her hammer in the direction she's facing.
Up Smash: Swings her hammer hard upwards.
Down Smash: Slams her hammer down hard.
GRABS:
Grab: Grabs the enemy with her arm.
Grab attack: Slaps the grabbed opponent
Forward Throw: Shoves the enemy away from her.
Up Throw: kicks the enemy above her
Backward throw: Throws the enemy away from her.
Down throw: whacks the opponent onto the ground with her hammer
Specials:
Neutral Special – Spinning Hammer: Amy swings her hammer in a spin motion. Can be charged, but if used too long, Amy will become dizzy and vulnerable for a few seconds.
Side Special – Hammer Jump: Jumps in the direction she's facing, and swings her hammer.
Up Special – Balloon Escape: Amy rides a small version of the escape balloon from Sonic Adventure, to fly herself upwards.
Down Special – Hammer Slam: Similar to Byleth's Down Special
Final Smash – Rose Typhoon: Similar to Amy's Soul Surge from Sonic & the Black Knight
Taunts:
Up Taunt: waves.
Side Taunt: jumps and twirls, then gets back into battle stance.
Down Taunt: dusts off her dress, and then gets back into battle stance.
Kirby Hat: Kirby gains Amy's ears, hair and headband.
Stage:
Ocean Palace - You fight on a platform cluster, based on the road leading into the palace. Occasionally, Kao roll across the stage, spinning the platforms, damaging the fighters.
