December 19th, 1995, 7:38PM. Owen and Abby were walking down the sidewalk of the city. It was snowing, and most people wore bundled-up clothing, but not them. Abby was wearing a sweatshirt and shorts, with brown boots, and Owen was yes, wearing a beanie, but he wore a long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans, he also had sneakers. Many people who walked by the young couple looked at them in confusion. It was a cold evening after all, so why were they dressed so lightly? "...This is nice Owen," Abby said, leaning her head on his shoulder. Owen began to blush. "Yeah, it is," Owen said, rubbing her hair. They walked past a movie theatre when Abby stopped walking and stared up at it. "Hey Owen, Look," Abby said, pointing up at the theatre's now playing section. Owen walked and noticed. "NOW PLAYING: JUMANJI". Abby looked at Owen, giving a grin. "...What is it?" Owen asked. "Well…how about we go on a date tomorrow?" Abby asked. "...A date…?" Owen asked, his face turning red. "Yeah, a date. To see a movie. You alright with that?" Abby asked, caressing Owen's cheek. "Yeah, completely fine with that!" Owen said. "Then it's settled, we'll go out tomorrow," Abby said. Abby took Owen's hand and they kept walking.
December 20th, 1995, 8:38PM. Owen was getting ready to go when Abby walked out and did a twirl. "How do I look?" Abby asked. Abby had a nice pink sweatshirt on, and a red skirt, she even went the extra mile and put a flower in her hair. "Wow, you look beautiful," Owen said. "Aww, thanks," Abby said. "Well, shall we go?" Owen asked. Abby nodded. "Yeah, we should go," Abby said.
9:00PM. Abby and Owen got to the Movie theatre. It wasn't that packed, only a few people walking around. They went to the front desk. "Hello," Abby said. A teenager reading a Playboy magazine looked over the mag and put it down. "...Hello, welcome to the Overlook Theatre, what can I do for you?" The teen asked. He didn't wanna be here. "Can we have two tickets to Jumanji?" Owen asked. The Teenager rolled his eyes. "Aren't you a bit young to see that movie? It's for big kids." The Teenager said. Abby pulled out 50 dollars. "2. Tickets." Abby said, getting agitated. The teenager looked at the money and swiped it. "Thanks for the money, but you still need an adult!" The Teenager said. Abby stared at him, before glancing at Owen. Abby and Owen walked away.
The Teenager was in the breakroom, counting the money that he stole from Abby. "David, you got yourself a score," David said. Just then his walkie activated. "David get your ass back out there, your not paid to slack off!" The Manager said. David groaned and got up, but when he opened the door, Abby was standing outside, smiling. "Can we please have our tickets?" Abby asked. "How the hell did you get back here its employees only," David asked. "We have ways, I won't ask again. Can we have our tickets?" Abby asked. "Beat it, kid," David said. Abby laughed as her eyes began to glow. "Don't say we didn't warn you," Abby said. David then began to feel a burning pain digging into his neck, causing him to scream in pain. Owen was biting into his Neck. "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! HEL-" He tried to cry out, but Owen began to dig deeper. Abby leaped onto him, biting into his neck. David tried to scream, but he couldn't, his vocal cords were being severed, and the door slowly closed behind Abby, ending with the click of the lock.
"Here you go, two tickets to Jumanji," Abby said, holding out the tickets to the employee. "Thank you. Are you guys not hungry? We have a snack bar." The Employee asked. Owen shook his head. "No thanks, we just ate. But thank you for asking." Owen said. The employee chuckled. "Well okay, enjoy the movie you two!" The employee said. Abby and Owen walked past her and into the theatre to watch the movie when the employee's walkie-talkie went off. "Sarah, where the hell is David, I called out for him 10 minutes ago." The manager asked. I don't know Sir, maybe he's still on break?" Sarah said. "Just send Jason for him." The Manager said. Sarah groans and changes channels. "Jason, can you get David from the Breakroom?" Sarah asked. "Alright, that guy shoulda been fired by now," Jason said.
As Abby and Owen watched the movie, Abby began to lean her head on Owen's shoulder, slowly beginning to get mushy which isn't that normal for her, especially in public. "I love you, Honey," Abby said, looking up at Owen. Owen began to turn red as he turned and rubbed Abby's hair. "I love you too Abby," Owen said. "...Say it," Abby said. Owen tilted his head. "...Say what?" Owen asked. "Say I love you too honey," Abby said. Owen turned as red as a tomato before sighing at the corny request. "I love you too Honey.." Owen said.
Near the end of the movie, a scream rang out, followed by chaos and people sprinting out of the theatre. "I think they found him," Abby said. Owen nodded. "That's our cue to go," Owen said. Abby nodded and they both got up, leaving through the emergency exit.
"And we have breaking news, 16-year-old David Simmons was found dead in the Employee Breakroom of Overlook Theatre, David was last seen entering the break room and he was later called by his manager to exit the room. When he didn't reply, another employee named Jason Scott went to go check on him, only to find the door locked. After a bit, he managed to unlock the door only to find the Body of David Simmons inside. We have Chief Police Officer Thompson here for the news." The new's Anchor said. "It's a tragic occurrence, but we are gonna get to the bottom of this, and no more lives will be stolen by these monsters." Officer Thompson said. "Overlook Theatre was not available to comment on this matter and will remain closed for the following weeks for the investigation." The News Anchor said, ending off the broadcast.
