A/N: New [Piece] 8D. And hopefully, I can avoid the same fiasco on this site that kept happening EVERY time I posted a new fic on this site. If it happens again, I'll just leave it alone until things resolve themselves and in the meantime please just check out my account on AO3 to avoid this trouble altogether (and do leave kudos and comments there.)
"Hey, Keiwa-kun... how about you try singing a ballad version of this song?"
Being fairly new to this idol thing, there are still a lot of things that Keiwa needs to learn from his predecessors as well as confrere. And it hadn't been too long since he started living the life of an idol. It started with being shortlisted and thrown into an idol competition by Ace of all people; and even when he didn't end up being the final winner of that competition, his participation in that competition led to him being put into a small idol group. It didn't last too long though, and the group were soon disbanded... and he ended up doing solo work instead.
Half of him was somewhat relieved with the arrangement since once his memories were restored he would've had a hard time keeping up with the busy schedules alongside the irregular DesiGra rounds. Even then, Keiwa never really thought that he was gifted enough to be making it big in this industry...
.
It was by chance that a producer caught him singing by himself inside the practice room. It was a song from an old ninja-themed television show. It was a show that Keiwa used to watch when he used to be very small and by accident, he happened to hear the theme song being played at a random shop and kept humming the theme all day long. So he thought that he'd try singing the theme song again after so long. And that was when the producer heard him sing.
Apparently, his rendition of the old song captivated the producer so much and immediately afterwards, Keiwa was offered to sing a new cover of the same song which would then be used as an opening theme for a new drama series that also happened to be themed based on the ninjas.
Strange how things ended up happening one after another.
The song Izanagi... somehow resonates with him strangely, even before he ends up being pulled into a different dimension and met with Kagura Rentarou. While he never managed to get to know that person very long, somehow after listening to the song again for a while he thought that the song seemed to be describing his friend a little too well. It surprised him, later on, to find out that the song he had sung had grown quite popular, alongside the new drama that was released with it.
And then one of the managers assigned to him suggested that Keiwa try singing a ballad version of the song.
.
He never thought that his voice was really suitable to be singing ballad-type songs; he's not really the kind of person to like very slow songs or romantic-sounding songs. Yet his ballad rendition of his earlier cover of Izanagi ended up being a hit and there was a growing demand of offers wanting him to sing more ballad songs.
Keiwa let out a long sigh before taking out an acoustic guitar and placing it on his lap. It's been a long time since he last played the guitar, and it was back when he was still in high school. He wondered if he was still able to play the instrument in tune...
.
He tried to play the slow version of the first song he was initially given when he first debuted as an idol. The first song that had been written just for him during the idol competition that launched him into his current profession. He thought perhaps if there was any song that could really let him unleash his true potential and allow him to sing his heart out, it would be this song.
A guy who protects the world, a superhero~
That's certainly isn't me~
He suddenly remembered how he used to complain about it, how the song didn't really fit his personality. And how quickly had Ace argued that he was wrong for thinking like that... and well, Ace can be quite convincing when he wants to be...
I only want to be there, whenever's needed
And help out as much as I... could~
Even if things don't always... go as I wished
Even if all ends up so badly~
And strange how the more he sang the lyrics out loud, the more he felt as if he was singing out the thoughts that had been locked inside his heart...
I'll face it all, not look away...and tackle it bravely,
all on my own, by myself!
Dive in the Typhoon
Keiwa snorted again as he recalled confronting Ace about it. On why it felt as if the person who wrote the lyrics to this song seemed to understand his heart far too well, and how Ace was too quick to deflect it by saying that he got some help from other people to make the lyrics sound more compelling and relatable.
Ace was able to read him too well, didn't he?

JUST GO and follow my feelings!
To that world far away... from pain and sacrifices!
Even if it won't be easy~
To give up really isn't me, I don't want to be like that!
His ears caught the sound of the sweetest voice he ever had the privilege of hearing, and without thinking he had followed the sound of the voice like a moth towards the flame. Or more precisely, like the rats of Hamelin after listening to the tune of the pied piper and losing their will and agency and just following along to wherever the song wanted them to go. Luckily for him, the sweet voice that he had been hearing... didn't end up leading him towards death, like the rats in the story. But instead, it led him towards the owner of that sweet voice, who had also stolen his heart and kept it with them.
Ace smiled fondly at the person sitting by themselves on the padded floor. Keiwa had dressed so simply; wearing a light brown jacket and a plain shirt underneath... as well as a pair of jeans with some parts torn, exposing the bare skin underneath. At first glance, one wouldn't have imagined that such a person was an idol.
Well, in Ace's eyes right now... the person singing by themselves in the room wasn't just any average idol, it was his beloved angel.

My unchanging desire, Yes, it's World Peace, that's all I could ever ask~
I also want to be with my loved ones, and make them happy~
Not cloud the rest of their day—
Before he could resume singing the next verse, Keiwa felt gentle arms snaking around his waist and was embraced tightly by the person behind him. Keiwa glanced up towards the wall of mirrors in front of him to see his own mirror image being hugged affectionately by none other than the Star of the Stars of the Stars himself, aka Ukiyo Ace.
Ace pried the guitar Keiwa was using away from him, as the latter made a soft sound of protest against the former.
"Give it back—!" cried Keiwa weakly as Ace's other hand started touching him intimately before Keiwa found himself being pushed onto the floor and pinned down by the taller one. Ace let out a soft growl before leaning down and began littering kisses on Keiwa's neck and jawline.
"Ace... get off me. We can do this later, I'm trying to practice right now—!" argued Keiwa before letting out a soft moan when Ace nipped his neck suddenly before sucking on the exposed skin.
"No... I won't let you continue—"
"Why are you doing this right now, Ace?" Keiwa asked again, even as Ace finished removing his jacket and was about to do the same for the shirt Keiwa was wearing.
Ace licked his lips as he started kissing Keiwa all over their face and neck. Keiwa hastily stopped him when he was about to run his hand all over Keiwa's body. Keiwa gasped and moaned aloud, feeling his whole body flushing with desire as he tried to discourage Ace from gobbling him out in the open.
"Ace—!" Keiwa cried out again, though with the way his voice had become so high-pitched right now... it did nothing to quell Ace's desire to make love with him inside this practice room tonight. "Ace... wha-What if people saw us—? If you really want to do this really badly tonight, we'll head back to your place to resume this—!"
"Don't worry—Mostly everyone had gone home," Ace grinned at him. Keiwa glanced up to look at him, still light-headed as Ace shrugged. "Besides, I've already locked the doors... and put a [Do not Disturb] sign at the door—"
"You're so unreasonable... Ace!" gasped Keiwa aloud as he sensed Ace lifting his shirt up and fondling his breasts and nipples with their hand and mouth. "What did I do that make you feel like this couldn't wait until we head back home—?"
Ace got up again, giving Keiwa a slight reprieve from the manhandling that he had unwittingly invited.
"Because you're being too SEXY. I can't help wanting to eat you up on the spot when you made yourself so irresistibly cute!"
Keiwa immediately felt himself flushing all over again. "But I was just trying to practice singing a song as a ballad! How did THAT end up turning you on—?"
Ace gave Keiwa a small peck on the cheek and nose as he smiled at his lover fondly. "You had NO idea of the little things that you do that turns me on. It's everything!" said the fox again before leaning in to kiss his tanuki deeply before moving on to shower his love all over Keiwa's body that he hadn't covered yet.
"Now, isn't that too vague a description, Ace? Can't I do anything at all without you wanting to drag me to bed every chance you can get? Do you seriously love me THAT much?"
"Yes!" Ace answered simply as he started to straddle Keiwa's waist. "—so Keiwa, can I pull down your pants now?"
Keiwa swallowed nervously as he could feel Ace's hands at the ready, already gripping the fabric of his torn-up jeans. Well, at least Ace still had the decency to ask for permission... even if he was already partially undressed. As soon as Keiwa gave out his permission, his pant almost instantly disappeared without a trace and his butt and crotch were laid out in the open, ready to be molested. Keiwa let out a final sigh of defeat as he allowed his fox lover to devour him completely without resistance.
How did he manage to get this fox so fixated on him, Keiwa really had no idea. And all he wanted to do was to sing a sweet ballad song.
A/N2: I had wanted to write a one-shot of idol!Keiwa singing ballad songs because of Izanagi... but since Ryuga hadn't exactly sung I Peace as a ballad, I had to improvise a bit and find a way to get Keiwa to sing Izanagi smh. And while technically this would be a songfic in a sense... I still needed to have some written song lyrics and a plot in it, right? So I ended up trying to rewrite I Peace in a way where one can actually sing it out loud. I left out some of the verses... and yeah I had feelings.
The translations of the song wouldn't be too accurate tho, and some I changed to make it sound and fit better to suit the original melody. So don't shoot me for the choice of wording I used.
