"My name is Matt. This story is about what happened to my younger brother, but it makes me quite uneasy about how close I came to losing him."
"My younger brother named T.K. is usually a nice guy and just about everyone likes him. Our parents are divorced with him living with our mom and I live with our dad, but we still see each other. One day, he was spending the night at my place and it was just the two of us since our dad was working a night shift. I was passing by his room when I saw T.K. was awake and standing by the window."
Despite their parents no longer together, Matt and T.K. still manage to stay close and were allowed to see each other. T.K. stayed with Matt for a night, but he passed T.K.'s room and saw he was still awake with T.K. looking like he was searching for something out the window.
"What are you doing? I thought you were going to bed?" Matt asked.
"There was a clown looking right at me." T.K. said.
"That's what he told me. He said that as he was about to get ready to go to bed, he noticed something strange outside the window. Keep in mind, we were in an apartment building. He said that there was a red and green clown on the roof on the building across from his window, and that it felt like the clown was looking right at him. I took a look, but I didn't see anything that looked like that out there."
Matt took a look outside the window, but there was no clown like T.K. said.
"T.K. said he already left, but I just thought it was weird. What would a clown be doing out there in the first place? I just thought it was nothing and put the whole thing behind me."
Matt never saw anything, so there was nothing he could do. He just forgot the whole thing and acted like there was nothing to do or worry about.
"After that, T.K. and I just went on with our lives. I completely forgot about what he said until I met with T.K. again. He told me that the clown has been stalking him, taunting him by throwing water balloons at him. Every time T.K. tried to go after him, the clown ran off and T.K. couldn't catch him. However, every time someone came to help him, the clown was gone like he was never there at all."
T.K. kept claiming he was being stalked and taunted by that same clown. It was like the clown was playing some sort of game with him. It also didn't help that no one else saw that clown.
"It went on like that for weeks. The problem was that no one other than T.K. saw that clown. It was starting to drive T.K. crazy, and people were worried he was losing his mind. I have to admit I was getting a little worried myself. I would have liked to believe him, but it was like he was chasing things that weren't really there. I didn't know what to do to help him."
Matt didn't like what was happening to his brother. T.K. looked like he was losing his mind. For whatever reason, he was the only one that could see that clown. Everyone was beginning to think T.K. was going crazy because he surely looked like he was. Matt hated seeing his brother like that, but he didn't know what to do to help him.
"One day, I decided to take T.K. out and try to get him to forget the whole thing with the clown. I figured if I stay with him, I could see what was happening to him. Everything seemed normal until T.K. just ran off.
Matt was looking forward to spending the day with his brother and figure out a way to help him, but T.K. surprised him by running off on his own.
"T.K.! Where are you going?!" Matt called.
"It's him! It's him again! I'm going to get him this time and find out what he wants from me!" T.K. claimed and just kept running.
"It sounded like he was going after this "clown" again, so I followed after him. I didn't want to lose my little brother."
Worried about T.K., Matt hurried after him to make sure he was okay.
"I tried following after T.K. As I chased after him, I was able to see in front of him and I saw someone running. He was chasing after someone dressed red and green and looked like a clown. I almost couldn't believe it. There really was a clown. T.K. was right all along."
As Matt chased after T.K., he was soon able to see the clown. He could see that T.K. wasn't crazy and there really was a clown stalking T.K.
"I tried my best to stay with him until I saw the most horrifying second of my life. When T.K. crossed the street to chase a clown, I heard a loud screeching and then the next thing I knew was that T.K. was on the ground and in great pain. A car ran him over."
Matt tried to chase after his brother, but everything went so quickly. One second, he's following his brother and then he sees his brother on the ground after getting hit by a car. That was the most horrifying second of Matt's life.
...
The Hospital
"T.K. was rushed to the hospital. Our parents were there and we were all worried about him. Thankfully, the doctors said that T.K. will survive. I told my parents what happened and told them that T.K. really was being stalked by a clown. They thought the same thing I did at first, but they were now believing it after hearing it from me. Once they knew about it, we called the police and I told them what happened as best as I could."
T.K. was taken to the hospital and they were all glad he was going to make it. After hearing Matt's story, their parents were aware of the clown now and called the police about this. Hopefully, they'll be able to catch this clown.
"I stayed at the hospital all day to keep an eye on T.K. It seemed like nothing more was going to happen. It soon got dark out and I still stayed, but then something did happen. As I was walking down the halls back to T.K.'s room, I saw him."
Matt was walking back to T.K.'s room until he stopped in his tracks and saw him. The clown from before was standing right in front of the door.
"That clown was back. He turned to face me with a creepy grin right on his face."
"I finally got him." The clown claimed before running off.
"He took off, but I went after him because I was angry over what he did. I chased him through the hospital until he went right through the exit and I lost him."
Matt chased after the clown and ran through the whole hospital, gaining the attention of a few doctors. When the clown ran out the door and through an exit, Matt lost track of him.
"He was gone again. As soon as I realized what he said, I was worried about T.K. I hurried back to his room and alerted a couple doctors. Luckily, nothing appeared to have happened to him. T.K. was still fine and was just peacefully sleeping. After that, the doctors called the police and I told them what happened. Security cameras showed that the clown just stood outside of T.K.'s room. He might have been planning to do something, but that was when I showed up and scared him off."
Matt was worried about his brother, but he was glad to see nothing happened to T.K. It would seem he showed up at a great time and was able to chase him away. Thank goodness for that.
"That was the last time we saw that clown. Eventually, T.K. recovered and was able to leave the hospital. The police never found that clown, but we all hoped that after this that he would just go away."
T.K.'s family was glad he was able to recover and return home. They just hope now that the clown is gone and will never come back. Everything seemed good until Matt saw something that made him sick to his stomach.
"Weeks passed after that and I was beginning to put the whole thing behind me. That was until I looked on the news and saw him again. This time, the clown ended up being murdered, but I honestly have mixed feelings about that. It's sad that he ended up dead, but it turns out that clown was actually a serial killer. After everything else with him, I felt like I was going to vomit. I came so close to losing my little brother to that psycho. I'm glad things turned out well, but I am never doubting my brother again."
