The Ed's had many walls in their summer lives. Every time they attempted to scam the kids of the Cul-De-Sac most of the time it would end in failure. Exposure for what they were trying to sell or do that would cost the kids their weekly allowances.
The Three best friends at times somehow found some form of success in their schemes to make money to buy their favorite candy in the world Jawbreakers. The Sweetness that the giant candied orbs could offer were worth every attempt the Ed's would make to get money off the gullible children both older and younger than they were.

From one summer to the next they continued to try. Eddy would come up with the plans while Edd aka Double Dee would make the stands, devices or anything that would require his extensive knowledge and craftmanship to make and, Ed the dimwitted and tallest of them all would just provide the muscle to lift and be the extra hand.

So many times, their scams would fail mostly due to what they were trying to sell was not the real thing or their scam fell apart usually due to, Ed's antics causing destruction or exposing their personally made or at times stolen products to be nothing but a sham.

One unfortunate time when they tried to sell cream horns not made from ingredients of consumables but materials from sporting goods ruined the youngest kid of their Cul-De-Sac's teeth and now had to wear a retainer for years to come.

When the Scam had backfired sometimes the Ed's would suffer retribution from those they tried to scam over. If they were lucky enough the money they took would immediately be taken back but sometimes a more physical means of retribution would come especially from the meanest and toughest of the Cul-De-Sac if not everyone at once.

But no matter how many times they failed and suffered painful consequences for their actions the Ed's would continue on with their scamming. Blinded by their need to have as many Jawbreakers they could desire. One a day if not more was the best for them. No matter how many times they fail their craftiness always got bolder and well planned better.

During the next summer however, the Ed's attempted a scam that would put every single one of their past ones to shame. The Scam that would give everyone who came to watch and participate in it would have the best times and the money from them would rain into a jar and the Ed's would have all the Jawbreakers they could have for as long as there was coin in their jar to spend.

As unfortunate as it was due to the arrogance and pigheadedness of, Eddy who as always never paid attention to his friends instructions or warnings he pressed the wrong button on the device that was being used for the scam and what came next ended up causing an absolute disaster leaving everyone present scarred up, burning, bruised and the loss of skin and hair. The Ed's managed to get away from everything went south but all three of them knew the situation was bad. Beyond the very meaning of the word. They knew right away they had to get out as they would be hunted down for the disaster that befall the ones who came mostly out to see what the Ed's were going to try next and unfortunately their curiosity had caused them to become badly injured. But not enough to stop them from seeking out the Ed's for what they had done to all of them.

The Ed's all packed what they would need to get out of the Cul-De-Sac. They didn't know where they could go all they knew is that they had to get away and when, Double Dee and Ed met with Eddy at his house the kids that were all brutally harmed in the scam had discovered them and busted their way into the house.

The Three took shelter in the most secure location in the house, Eddy's big brothers room that had many locks and chains on the door. But that only would delay the kids in the house for so long when they discovered the Ed's were in the room.

Desperate to escape the Ed's clamored about in a state of panic trying to find a way out but with the windows and the air vent sealed off with bricks they only had one chance left. To use the Car that was in the room when they found the key to start it coincidentally in an emergency service box on the wall. But as they got into it the car would not start and when the kids finally broke in to enact their vengeance

When the Car would not start and Eddy and Double Dee thought all was lost for them, Ed burst his legs through the Car and carried it with his fingers and ran. Bursting through the second story of the house landing in the roundabout of Cul-De-Sac he took off running with no clear direction with his view blocked from being too low but with fear driving him and his friends he ran as fast as he could.

The Kids not wanting to let the Ed's get away they pursued them all across the Cul-De-Sac. From the alley's and lanes through and behind the houses to the forest, through the construction site and with a clever idea from, Double Dee when they reached playground just as all the kids finally caught up with them he grabbed the merry-go-round and holding on for dear life the car and everyone on it spun around.

One by one the kids in pursuit of the Ed's were either flung off or lost their grip throwing all across the playground and when, Double Dee's fingers had released on the merry-go-round the car with the Ed's still in it were sent launching into the sky
sending them far out over the Cul-De-Sac and out of their hometown of Peach Creek in general.

It seemed like an eternity they were in the air only it was a couple minutes by the time they fell back down to the Earth and landed in a desert with Ed immediately taking off without knowing what was still in front of them.

Eddy after taking a moment to calm down after their rather excessive flight out of town he looked behind him to see nothing but desert with the green acres and roads of Peach Creek dissipating into the distance and the best part of it all there was no one in pursuit.

"HA! WE LOST THEM!" Beamed Eddy gleefully embracing, Ed as it was thanks to him that he peddled the car out and got away without acknowledging, Double Dee's efforts which brought them out of harms way for the time being and gave them a great distance from their pursuers.

Double Dee still sitting in the passenger seat buckled into it looked back concerningly. He had made a very bold move that did work but were they truly in the clear? "How can you be so certain, Eddy?" Asked Double Dee not noticing a very large rock the size of a hill was straight ahead coming closer by the second and, Eddy was too busy embracing, Ed to notice either.

"Those chumps will never catch us now! From now on its nothing but smooth sailing!" But just as Eddy finished those words did the car collide with the rock turning it upwards and the Car was stuck on the new top of the rock with, Eddy flying out of it landing on the hard rocky ground that made the bone-dry desert.

Before Eddy could acknowledge the impact the car above bust into an array of pieces one with one of the car doors landing on him, and, Ed ended up trapped in the muffler with, Double Dee's passenger chair stuck in place atop of the rock.

Ed freed himself from the muffler but as he burst through the car component his clothes were torn from him right down his dirty underwear tearing all loose, but he did not notice that as he went to the car door and saw, Eddy's head sticking out from between where the window of the car door would be at went it was lowered all the way down.

"Ill get you out, Eddy!" Called Ed grabbing the short kid's head and yanked so hard that, Eddy was flung into the air, but his clothes were caught between the doors and just like, Ed was left without one layer of clothes but when, Eddy landed all he could see around him is what remained of his big brothers car which left him very angry.

"WAY A GO, LUMIX!" Seethed Eddy putting his face right up to, Ed's glaring deep into his eyes unaware that his skin was now touching, Ed's. "The only rock for miles and you had to hit it!"

Double Dee still hanging from above took notice that the safety belt from seat had saved him from falling. "Seat belts are certainly a trusted friend." He smiled only for the belt to snap and send him falling but when he did he fell through many sharp objects from the car that were lodged into the rock when the car exploded cutting away all his clothes until he hit the ground with a loud thud with pieces of his clothing slowly falling around him like tattered rain.

The Smartest among them wanted to let out his frustrations. He had at times kept his cool when it came to some situations when everything went wrong but this was beyond any of that. They were practically exiled now. They had to flee from their very homes to escape the wraith of every participant in the scam that went horribly wrong. But when Double Dee got to his feet ready scream at both his friends namely, Eddy for being the sole reason they have always ended up as they were and now the worst of it had come but he immediately all, but his hat were missing on him and his friends in front of him were all missing their clothing too.

"WHAT IN SAM HILL?! WE'RE NAKED!" Panicked Double Dee grabbing his hat from the back and pulled it down from behind him until it reached up from beneath partially concealing his nakedness while, Eddy and Ed realized they were all now without clothes and covered their fronts with their bare hands.

Eddy's cheeks went red while Ed just stood in place and couldn't help but chuckle at the moment. This reminded him of the many occasions they found themselves without clothes before but, Eddy and Double Dee were not amused.

"Oh, shut up, Ed!" Snapped Eddy looking around for his clothes, but he saw, Double Dee's were laying on the ground in too many small pieces. His clothes were still in the window of the car and with a tug and a pull with one hand keeping his nudeness covered from the front he could do nothing but pull free a shred of his clothing that was nothing more than the size of one of his fingers. Ed's own clothing seemed to be the less tattered of all theirs but even what remained of his clothing would do very little. The Biggest piece was hardly the size of a hand.

"What are we going to do?" Cried Double Dee feeling so humiliated and ashamed both from his nude state and the fact is that due to his and his friends actions they had found themselves lost and at large with everyone who certainly will be coming for them to seek vengeance upon them. The Ed's had to forsake their own homes and families which was obvious by now but for the time being, Double Dee wanted desperately to least stand with some decently and not have his naked form on display for all to see and to make matters worse he was standing in the sun with no sunscreen. He feared that once again he could get burned all over and spend weeks shedding his skin while baring the painful singes of sunburns.

That was a good question. What were they going to do? Even Eddy did not want to simply be walking about wearing nothing at all. He was quite a jokester though not as much as his big brother was. But this was not something to laugh about at all.
Using anything out of the destroyed car was out of the question. Eddy had already been through enough pain for one day. But when his eyes saw the trunk of the car laying flat on the desert ground the back hood was still closed. His Brother had all matter of junk in it but maybe, just maybe there could be some clothes in it.

"Over there, boys!" Eddy pointed to the truck and they each quickly ran over only with Eddy and Double continuing to cover themselves however they could but, Ed just walked over casually to the disgust of, Double Dee.

"Please Ed have some decency will you?" He cried but Ed just stood in place and laughed. Yes, if they were around people, Ed, like his friends, would be covering himself up in embarrassment and shame too but if he was just around his friends there was nothing to really hide. But to Double Dee and Eddy it could be quite annoying but with, Ed anything about him was annoying and it was a wonder at times how they come to tolerate him so much over the years.

Eddy lifted up the hood of the trunk and found that all the junk that resided in it was all messed up. Though it was a mess to begin with at least, Eddy could recall what was inside but now with everything in a great pile with everything completely out of place it would like trying to find a needle in a haystack. But Eddy immediately went to work on looking through it all. There just had to be something in there they could use. Pants or undergarments at the very least. Or maybe a few shirts they could tear up and make some form of loincloth.

After a good minute of rummaging through the trash that made up all the interior of the trunk, Eddy found a tiny brown briefcase. He grabbed it and brought it out of the trunk setting it on the back end.

"What's that, Eddy?" Asked Ed scratching his backside.

"Hold on, lumpy I'm looking!" Yelled Eddy opening up the box revealing three tiny napkin looking swimsuits that looked so oddly familiar.

"Hey! My brother actually kept three more pairs!" Eddy exclaimed in surprise while, Double Dee screamed in terror at the sight of the tiny swimsuits that brought back very embarrassing memories.

"What's with you?" Eddy chuckled while, Ed quickly snatched one of the pairs and slipped it on. It was so tiny that just standing in them were very confining on the lower area of his body.
"I'm not so sure about this, Eddy? Don't you recall what happened at the sprinkler party last year?" Double Dee reminded.

Reluctantly Eddy nodded. What was supposed to be a day when they could not only cool off when the temperature was quite high that day they were supposed to win big over all the kids with stunts and games that, Eddy made up hoping to get among them all with a higher social status but during one stunt trying to impress the kids that paid no attention to them had their swimsuits of the same kind snap off and it was only by luck the Ed's had a kiddie pool to jump into to hide themselves but they lost their chance of trying to get on the good side of the kids and did not get any food or desserts that were served and worst of all they ended up disturbing a bee hive when they had their chance to get away with no one seeing them in their nude states. What was supposed to be a fun day turned into a disaster but not even close to what they were in now.

"Yeah, yeah don't remind me, sockhead!" Scoffed Eddy grabbing a pair from the briefcase and slipped it on. "Here put it on!" He grabbed the last pair handing it over to, Double Dee who continued to look at the swimsuit in fear.

"I don't want to!" Whimpered Double Dee shaking profusely.

"Either that or you can remain naked or better yet why don't you use your hat?" Suggested Eddy playfully. "Poke a couple of holes in it then it can be underwear."

Double Dee gasped at the suggestion before glaring at Eddy. "We are not yet using my hat, thank you!" He snapped before snatching the last pair of the swimsuits and slipped it on himself. And the moment it was on it clung to him so tight that the memories of that day flowed through him. They were just as confining as ever if not worse. He swore he felt more naked in them than being without it. Eddy's suggestion was a rather good alternative but even, Double Dee would not part with the only thing left on him that was hiding a horrible thing that only his two best friends have ever seen. But at this moment could he even consider the two of them, especially Eddy to be his friends after all the trouble he put them all through and now it has all culminated into an atrocity so vast that now they have become lost souls forsaking everything to get away from the dreaded consequences that awaited them should they go back to the Cul-De-Sac.

Despite the swimsuits being so confining at the very least they were not naked anymore, but they still had a lot of trouble as the moment stood. "Now what are we going to do?" Moaned Double Dee sadly as of right now he could not think of anything other than the kids that were back in the Cul-De-Sac right now planning on hunting them down. If they were willing to chase them as determined as they were back in town then that meant they would go to even greater lengths.

"I have an idea, Sockhead! You're going to love it!" Eddy beamed as this was the best and only idea that would ensure their safety and should the kids from the Cul-De-Sac dare show up they would regret they ever took a step out of Peach Creek.

"Pray tell?" Double Dee folded his arms grumpily. Another one of Eddy's ideas meant that their chances outside the only place they knew well enough to get around were slim to none which usually drifted towards the far less fortunate chance.

When Eddy mentioned they were going to his Big Brothers place, Double Dee was doubtful but, Ed was ecstatic. With no choice he followed his two friends on a journey that took them very far. It was most humiliating as the travel was slower than he liked. Having to walk wearing very confining swimwear that felt they were ready to snap off should he or any of his two friends take one wrong step or stretch out too much they would break off leaving them without any form of clothing. There was no telling where their journey was going to end up when, Eddy mentioned he had no idea where his brother lived only that he was going to take them to him all they had to do was figure out where despite the mystery his brother was which left hardly any clues to follow up on.

The Journey took them through a field of cows through private property which, Double Dee was most frightened that again they were breaking a law that could see them put in jail. Another misdeed simply because Eddy and Ed complete disregard for rules and their current predicament upset him greatly.

Next was going through a field of corn that led them to an abandoned gag factory where after taking some notes that would provide some clues to, Eddy's brothers whereabouts. But when that lead led nowhere, Eddy's and Ed's vexatious pranking caused, Double Dee to become trapped on a waterfall and, his friends idea of saving him only caused him to fall into a waterfall where when all three of them got soaked by the falls and the river beneath it their swimwear that still clung to them got so tight that they had to take a break to let them dry out taking cover behind some bushes trying to ignore their nakedness from each other for awhile before they could redress themselves.

After another clue was discovered they built a boat in the shape and form of a duck and traveled down the river in hopes of finding the home that, Eddy's brother would as all rivers go towards the direction of the nearest sea, but they ended up shipwrecked in a swamp. And with Eddy and Ed doing their most cruel prank yet, Double Dee had finally snapped and was ready to abandon them both to return back to face his consequences as it seemed to them mostly, Eddy that their friendship never meant anything to them and he never once would take responsibility and when that happened, Eddy finally broke down and admitted to all his faults. The Loss of Double Dee's friendship shattered his heart and in that turn, Double Dee finally saw how, Eddy admired and looked up to him as the friend he was and once reacquainted they headed for the direction towards the sea walking on a road that led them out of the swamp to rural farmlands.

After a night of rest, they continued their journey but in the haste to find something to eat they ended up in a Carnival that had yet to open up its gates but thanks to postcard Eddy had in his wallet sent by his brother from the same location they ended up finding him just as the rest of the kids had tracked them down in front of his brothers trailer. Though it was rather surprising to see the Ed's in nothing but swimwear that looked far too tight for them it did matter as they had a beating coming but before they could do anything, Eddy had knocked on the door and a voice called out and appearing out from behind the door to the trailer made to resemble a whale a tall figure emerged.

When Eddy's brother revealed himself at first he appeared to be every bit of, Eddy's stories made of him. But it wasn't until he started to torment his younger brother did everyone see the true colors that were, Eddy's big brother. Nothing but a bully and a tormentor.

Through some quick-thinking Ed took a pin out from the door to the trailer when, Eddy was gripping on it so tightly trying to keep himself from being further harmed in his brothers sadistic games. The Door had knocked his brother unconscious and, Eddy found himself broken on the ground coming to terms with his actions and his lies that all led to the moment. Double Dee and Ed comfort him as, Eddy finally let's go of his past misdeeds and vows to be a better person after that while the Kanker sisters who had come to rescue their 'boyfriends' had found themselves a new man to pick on, Eddy's big brother who they were
quite eager to toy with themselves dragging him into the trailer for mouth to mouth.

"Grab them!" Kevin shouted and Eddy watched as the rest of the kids were coming at them fast. He believed they were still after them to seek their vengeance upon them.

"Alright, I'm sorry honest! I didn't meant to hurt you guys!" Eddy got on his knees and bowed his head shamefully and, Double Dee braced for the many hits that were to come while, Ed bravely stood in front of his friends.

"No! Take me!" He pleaded but shut his eyes too when they were just upon them. But to their shock all the kids embraced them and tossed them up into air cheering them all happy that not only was, Eddy safe and well along with the two others but they all witnessed, Eddy's trauma and realization that all he and his friends wanted was acceptance and that they were truly sorry for the ordeal that left them all so hurt.

Rolf gave Eddy a victory arm pit rub. Nazz was over joyed that, Eddy was alright rewarding him with a kiss on his cheek and even, Kevin had to admit that, Eddy's courage and his truthfulness was something of incredulous.

Sarah even embraced her brother Ed lovingly for the first time. After seeing just how badly she had been treating him when all he ever did was show her brotherly love and loyalty. Double Dee was praised as well for his loyal commitment and dedication to his fellows but just as they all were continuing to cheer a city bus rolled up and drifted in a circle to a stop next to them. They all watched with confusion until the side door opened up.

"Your time of reckoning is now, rapscallions!" A Voice boomed out from the bus and jumping out of was Johnny and Plank donning their superhero personas, Captain Melonhead and Splinter the Wonder Wood. "Its Melon Time!" Johnny stormed ahead with, Plank tied to a long pole acting as a steed.

"Where did he come from?" Eddy gasped. "Johnny wait!" Eddy tried to explain but with, Johnny not being with the other kids to witness what had happened earlier far as he knew the Ed's were still their enemies in need of punishment for their actions against him and the others.

He grabbed each of the Ed's with Plank circling them around the kids as they screamed in both pain and terror. The Sudden snatching aggravated their swimsuits so much they started to tear away and, Johnny then tossed them all up into the air and the, Ed's flailed about frantically that their swimsuits all but tore off in the moment and they collapsed onto the ground hard and, Johnny leapt on top of the pile of them standing over triumphantly.

"No thanks are necessary, citizens!" He assured standing tall and proud like the hero he believed he was but unfortunately he was expecting praise from his fellows, but this was met with a tackle from, Sarah and a punch from, Kevin.

"You idiot! Leave our friends alone!" Sarah shouted tearing off, Johnny's melon helmet and proceeded to punch him repeatedly while, Kevin joined in the fray along with, Rolf, Nazz and even, Jimmy who was not at times a violent person but for what, Johnny did to the Eds was inexcusable.

With the group pummeling the poor super hero wannabee their work was done as quickly as it had begun. Johnny was nothing but a wreck, having lost every feeling in his body. His uniform torn and mangled and he was riddled with so many bruises that what happened to him with the, Ed's latest scam was nothing compared to what he was feeling now.

But when the group turned around to check on the, Ed's who only just got back to their feet they could not help but stare. Their faces suddenly going from concern to irresistible laughter pointing and laughing so hard that, Rolf and Kevin could not resist bellowing so much that the surrounding empty stands were shaking. Nazz put a hand over her mouth trying to suppress herself with her cheeks lighting up red but even she could not hold it back as the moment was too funny not to laugh and, Sarah and Jimmy were holding onto each other laughing hysterically.

"What's so funny?" Asked Eddy in frustration. Just moments ago, he and his friends were getting showered with praise and now suddenly they were the butt of a joke again.

"You guys!" Kevin pointed laughing so hard his hat fell off.

"What?" Ed shrugged his shoulders unaware that he along with his friends had lost something on their persons.

"I don't understand?" Double Dee scratched his head but then he felt a soft breeze come from below him that tingled. He looked down and immediately he screamed in absolute embarrassment.

"Our swimwear!" He cried looking around for them, but the swimsuits were blown away in the wind when they were tossed up in the air and, Eddy and Ed all saw that their own swimsuits were gone too!

"Oh no!" Eddy gasped covering himself up and turned around along with, Double Dee and Ed but now their rear ends were being shown to the others and that only gave them another reason to laugh so loudly the seagulls and crows waiting around in the park all flew away in fright from the loud laughter.

The Ed's desperately looked around to find their swimsuits, but the wind had carried the napkin sized suits all the way out to the neighboring sea where they would never be recovered. No matter how hard they could try the, Ed's did not find them, and the group continued to laugh at them. Their nakedness and the, Ed's awkward desperation to find something to cover themselves up was just too funny.

Ed Edd and Eddy continued to try to find something to cover themselves. They were glad they were getting the same treatment, Johnny had gotten but this was just as bad. Eddy took cover in a garbage can. Double Dee ripped off a poncho from a wooden Indian promoting the buying of cigarettes and, Ed happened to find an empty popcorn bag laying on the ground and used it to cover his front. But despite finding something that covered themselves some better than others the children of the Cul-De-Sac continued to laugh out to their hearts extent.

The Ed's unfortunately had to bear with it now. It was better than the alternative but from that moment on there would not be a day when they would not be reminded of the ordeal that left them humiliated for life. No friendly visit or party would not go without a mention of it. The Ed's forever were mentally scarred of that very day but in the end they eventually started to laugh the ordeal themselves as their lives changed for the better and despite the humiliation they would cherish that memory like any other good one as it helped set them up with friends and a good life to come.
