An Adventure For Shinnosuke And Rio

It started out as a peaceful day and right now, Hiroki Tsujiai had finished his breakfast. "There," he said as he worked on cleaning his dishes, "Now to get myself prepared. Actually, to help Sakura." Right now, Hiroki Tsujiai is minding his own business.

Well, for the moment as he had invited Nina Sakura to his house to help her with several of her studies. "As a witch from the Magic Kingdom," Hiroki muttered, "She doesn't know what she is doing. But I've got to help her."

That's when his cat, named Shinnosuke had arrived, purring happily. "Sorry, Shinnousuke," Hiroki said, "You can't sit on my lap now. I'm meeting up with my girlfriend who really needs help. A lot of it." The cat looked puzzled.

"I promise you can cuddle with me once this is over," Hiroki said. That's when he heard the doorbell rang. He got up and opened the door to see it is his girlfriend, Nina Sakura. "Tsujiai!" Nina said in her happy voice, "I'm here!"

"Yep," Hiroki said in response." "Just try not to blow up Tsujiai's house," Rio said. "Hey!" Nina said in disbelief. Also, Nina had brought her pet cat, Rio along. "You're not here to do that," Hiroki said, "All right, Nina, so I've heard that you're having trouble with your studies."

"Yes," Nina said. "Now I'll help you," Hiroki said, "But you have to help yourself along the way, like last time. And with your witch magic, of course. Understand?" "Yes," Nina said. "Then let us get started," Hiroki said. "All right, Rio,"

And the two started their work on their studies. Hiroki had helped Nina with many of the hard parts.

During all this, Rio was starting to get bored, that was until Shinnosuke.

"Hey, I know you," Rio said, "You're Shinnosuke, who is Tsujiai's cat. I remember that day, and you got yourself into trouble."

Rio was recalling the day when Nina had transformed Shinnosuke into human and he had gotten himself into some kind of trouble. Since turning back into a cat, Hiroki had taken care of him, and continued to pamper the cat.

"Still being a lazy cat?" Rio asked. That was until Shinnosuke had jumped down and got near an open window. "All right," Rio said, following the cat, "Are you planning on having another adventure?"

When Rio got too close to the open window, Shinnosuke had pushed Rio out and had darted off. "Now I'm involved!" Rio said, "Hey, wait for me!" Rio then chased after Shinnosuke.

2 hours later, Hiroki and Nina had finished their work on their studies. "Now you're more intelligent than last time," Hiroki said in a joking manner. "Aw, come on!" Nina said, "You could be more nicer!"

"Well, I am," Hiroki said, "I've helped you with your studies." "Yes, that is true," Nina said. "And now you'll do well in Mr. Mikami's upcoming exam," Hiroki added in. "Yes," Nina said. But then, they both noticed something.

"Hey," Nina said, "Where's Rio?" "And where the heck is Shinnosuke?" Hiroki asked. Both had finally noticed that both of their cats had disappeared. "Oh no!" Nina cried.

Immediately, Hiroki sprang into action. "Well, don't just sit there!" he shouted, "Go out and find them!" "Uh, right!" Nina agreed.

By this time, both Rio and Shinnosuke were walking into town, not being seen by any people. "So, Shinnosuke," Rio said, "Where exactly are you going?" Shinnosuke didn't answer, instead, the normal cat faced a certain store. "Okay," Rio said.

Meanwhile, Nina and Hiroki continued to find the two cats. "Where is that smarty cat of yours?" Hiroki asked. "I don't know!" Nina answered. "Hold on," Hiroki said, "Can you use your magic?" "I'll try," Nina said and she made an attempt.

At that moment, Shinnosuke continued to stare at the said store. "What's going on?" Rio asked, "Why a shop like this? You want fancy jewelry? Okay, it's closed now." But then, Rio sensed trouble. Or he smelled trouble. Both cat went to the nearby alley and saw two suspicious looking characters. "Yep," Rio said, "I've smelled- Not spaghetti." They looked at the two thugs. And they've muttered something awful.

"A gang of criminals," Rio said, "And they are going to rob this jewelry store! Well, that's what they're saying. We got to stop them!" "Let's go," one of the crooks said. "Right," the other crook said in agreement.

But just then both Rio and Shinnosuke jumped out in front of the crooks. "Well, what do we got here?" one of the crooks said, "Cats." "Forget them," the other crook said, only for Rio and Shinnosuke to attack both thugs. "Argh!" they cried, "Mangled felines!" "Get off!" one thug called.

But Rio and Shinnosuke continued to scratch both crooks. "I'll teach them!" one thug called as he picked up a sledgehammer. "No way!" Rio said, "Shinnosuke, dodge time!" And both cats jumped out of the way as the thugs ended up smashing each other with the sledgehammer.

"That should take care of them," Rio said. "Try again," the other thug cried, "Felines!" But he ended up slamming his partner with a sledgehammer.

The next minute, both thugs got smacked with sledgehammers. "There," Rio said. Thanks to Rio, the crooks ended up smacking each other with sledgehammers. Also, Yuta from the Magic Kingdom gave the two cats a hand. "I should help you out," Yuta said, "Besides, it's the right thing to do other than teasing you."

"Get those cats!" the thugs cried and they started to chase after Shinnosuke and Rio. "Time to bolt!" Rio said, "Hey, where are you, Shinnosuke?"

Nearby, the teacher, named Mikami was walking along, minding his own business. That is when Shinnosuke jumped out in front of him. "Oh, hi there," Mikami said upon watching Shinnosuke, "I think." However, Shinnosuke had accidentally jumped onto Mikami and attacked him. "AHHHH!" he cried in pain.

Then Shinnosuke jumped down from Mikami. "Hey!" Rio said, "Come on! We don't have time!" Rio then dragged Shinnosuke away, leaving Mikami stunned, and scratched. The two crooks followed the cats "Cats!" he cried.

That's when another teacher, Tamura had arrived. "Oh my," she said upon noticing Mikami, "What happened?" "A cat scratched me way too many times!" Mikami answered, "I've never been that scared since I almost got forked by a weird lady-man that I know nothing about."

"Oh, Mikami," Tamura said, "Maybe you need a day off." "That's a good idea," Mikami said.

But then, both Rio and Shinnosuke reached the edge of the river. "Looks like your nine lives are up," one of the thugs said as they've cornered both cats. "You're going to be turned into fur coats, you mangled up felines!" the other thug said, holding a sledgehammer. Shinnosuke was worried.

But Rio had an idea. "Hold on," Rio said. "Let's do it," the thugs said. "Let's do it!" Rio said at the crooks, parrot-ting them, "Looks like your nine lives are up! You're going to be turned into fur coats, you mangled up felines!"

"What the hell is this?!" one of the thugs asked in disbelief, "That cat is talking and mocking us!" "We are going to rob a jewelry store!" Rio went on, "Rob a jewelry store!" And he kept on talking.

"We can't take it anymore!" the crooks cried and both ran into the river and had jumped into the water. "That ought to teach them a lesson," Rio said, "We've done it, Shinnosuke!" Shinnosuke had to agree.

Meanwhile, the two crooks had ran into the police. "Well, well, well," they said, "What do we have here?" "We surrender!" the crooks cried, "Please take us away form you talking cats!" As so, the crooks had been arrested and taken away.

Meanwhile, Rio and Shinnosuke prepared to return home. "Thanks for helping," Rio said, "Well, kind of. But thanks for noticing those trouble guys." Shinnosuke just said nothing.

That is when Nina and Hiroki finally ran into the cats. "Nina!" Rio said, excited. "Rio!" Nina said, "Where the heck have you been?" "Oh, me and Shinnosuke were out catching some smelly crooks," Rio said. "And what pray tell made you do such a thing?" Hiroki asked.

"We had an adventure!" Rio said. "Rio!" Nina scolded, "Do you realize how worried we were?!" "Yes," Rio answered with confidence. "And as for you, Shinnosuke," Hiroki said, "You're going to get a lot love from me you cat." "And you'll have to ration your spaghetti," Nina said severely. "Okay, I'm fine with that," Rio said.

And of course, Hiroki gave Shinnosuke way too much love once they got him. As in he literally kept him close to him. This made Shinnosuke realize that getting too much of everything isn't always a good thing. "Well, I'll take care of you," Hiroki said to the cat, "I really mean it." Shinnosuke just groaned in disappointment.

Two days later, both Nina and Hiroki were prepared to work on their first exam in school. However, they got something else instead. "Okay," Hiroki said, "Mr. Mikami is out because he has an allergic reaction. Getting attacked by a cat."

"Oh dear," Nina said, "What has Rio and Shinnosuke done?" "I don't want to think about it," Hiroki said undignified.
