Zombies Among Us
Chapter One
Blue ran and ran. She stopped when she heard crying. The blue dog saw a Blue Heeler, crying. Blue went over to the other blue dog. Blue made her concerned dog sound. The Blue Heeler looked at Blue, wiping away a tear.
"Oh, you're a blue dog like me." She said to the other dog in an Australian accent. She then frowned. "I don't know what happened. Mum, Dad, my sister and me were all having a good time outside, when a shadow figure came and did something to them. Now they don't act like themselves. I got scared, so I ran." She burst out crying again. "And now I don't know what to do! I want my mum, dad, and sister to not be crazy anymore!" She cried and cried. Blue felt sorry for her. She knew exactly what this dog was talking about. The same shadow figure came and made Steve, Joe, Josh and her other friends not act like themselves either. She didn't have a clue what was going on and so, she ran too. Both dogs perked up when they heard a scream.
"Cricket!" Remy Remington yelled, running from Cricket who was acting like a zombie. "What is wrong with you?!"
"Remy!" Cricket said in his new zombie voice. "Come be a zombie with me; it's fun!"
"NOOOOO!" Remy screamed. He then saw the other Greens, who were also zombies, coming towards him. They all made creepy, moaning, zombie noises. "No! Stay away from me! Please!" Perry, in agent form, ran up between the zombiefied Cricket and the terrified Remy.
"Yay!" The child cheered. "You came to save me, didn't you?" Perry looked at him and nodded. "Thank you! Vasquez tried to do that, but he…" He sniffed sadly at the sad memory. "He turned into a zombie. I think I'm forever traumatized now." He then wiped his tears away. "But, uh, try not to hurt him, okay? He's my friend." Again, Perry nodded.
"Kid!" Goh shouted, who was riding on Flygon. "Quick, get on with me and then we can ride on Flygon to safety!" He looked at Blue and Bluey. "You dogs come too!" Bluey cheered.
"Ooh!" She cheered. "We're going to fly on a cool looking flying creature!" When Flygon landed, the three cartoons got on. Goh looked at Perry.
"Do you want to ride with us? I think there's room for one more." Perry shook his head. "Are you sure?" The platypus nodded. "Well, okay then. Be careful then!" He told Flygon to fly. Flygon flew into the air. Perry fought the zombies off with his tail, kicks, and punches. The zombies went towards him. Perry was about to fight them off again when a motorcycle zoomed in. It was Akira Tendo. He stopped the motorcycle to look at the platypus.
"Need a ride?" He asked. Perry jumped onto the motorcycle spot behind him. "Hold on! The goggles are on, which means it's about to get intense up in here!" They then sped up. Riding a motorcycle with a platypus in a fedora wasn't on my bucket list. Akira thought to himself. But I'll gladly take it!
"I don't want to be an evil zombie again!" A panicked King Jingaling yelled, running to Akira's motorcycle. He held his pet, Toots, in his arms. "I don't want to become an evil zombie again!" He managed to jump on the speeding motorcycle. "Sorry for the extra passengers."
"It's alright." Akira said. "Despite the extra weight that might slow me down, I think I can manage. I'm just sorry that I don't have extra helmets and goggles for you guys."
"Oh, it's quite alright. Just as long as we make it out alive is all that matters. Now, put a step to the medel!"
"You got it, weird looking king!"
The zombiefied Greens saw zombified cuccoos race in.
"Dad!" Zombie Cricket said to him, his voice all raspy. "I got idea! Everyone, throw chicken look-alikes at them!"
"Okay, son!" Zombie Bill agreed in his very deep voice. He and the others picked all of the cuccoos up and began throwing them up at Flygon and its riders. The riders all screamed.
"Throwing stuff isn't nice!" Bluey said. "Not at all!"
"Flygon, use Hyper Beam!" Goh ordered. Flygon used Hyper Beam on all of the cuccoos. The unconscious cuccoos all rained down onto the ground down below.
"They'll be okay, right?" Remy wanted to know.
"They'll be fine." Goh assured him.
Willow was flying on her staff with Hunter as her passenger. She was trying to dodge the flying cuccoos when suddenly a few hit them, causing them both to fall off of the staff. They both screamed as they both fell towards the ground. Clover turned back into a bee and flew towards her falling owner. Goh noticed this.
"Flygon!" He ordered. "Quick, catch them!" Hunter fell onto Flygon's back. Before Flygon could catch Willow, Zombie Bill jumped up and bit Willow on the arm. Willow screamed.
"WILLOW, NO!" A wide-eyed horrified Hunter yelled as he saw Willow painfully turn into a zombie.
"Sorry." Goh apologized. "It's too late for her. Flygon, just fly to safety!" Flygon obeyed and flew away. Hunter tearfully watched Zombie Willow hit the ground and started moaning with the others. Clover, with tears in her eyes, flew towards Hunter. Hunter just buried his head in his lap. Bluey and Blue looked sad for him. Clover was beside Hunter now.
"Why!?" Hunter asked himself. "First Flapjack, then Luz and her friends. It seems like everyone I love or deeply care about is taken away from me. It's not fair." He sniffed sadly.
"I know it's scary right now." Bluey told Hunter who just looked at her teary-eyed. "But it'll be alright. It has too, right?" Blue nodded and bow-wowed. Even Clover did her buzzing sounds. Hunter wanted to snap at the dog and tell her that it wasn't, when he found that he couldn't bring himself to do it. He just smiled at her instead as he wiped away his tears.
"Yeah, you're right. It has to." The two dogs smiled back.
Akira parked his motorcycle by a log cabin minutes later. He hung his goggles up onto the handles. He and the others went inside. Akira put the motorcycle keys in his pocket. Moments later, Flygon landed. Goh, Blue, Bluey, Remy and Hunter got off.
"Thanks, Flygon." Goh thanked his Pokemon. "You have been very helpful."
"Yes." Bluey said, thanking Flygon as well. She even bowed to the creature which made Goh smile."Very helpful." Goh took out Flygon's Pokeball.
"Flygon, return!" Flygon did its call as Goh returned it to its ball. He put the ball in his pocket. He and the others all walked inside of the cabin while Clover flew. Goh looked at Hunter who wasn't coming with."I'm really sorry for her. If there's anything…"
"I'm okay." Hunter replied, but Clover knew better. Goh was unsure too, but left it at that. They continued on going inside.
Once in, Goh looked at Remy. "Are you okay, kid?" He asked. Remy looked his way.
"I'm fine." He answered. "Thank you for saving me."
"Of course!" Goh said. "We have to keep each other safe, you know?" Remy nodded in agreement.
"I sure do, but uh, what happened to my friend and his family? Why are they acting like zombies all of a sudden?"
"I don't know. Both of my friends, Professor Cerise, his family and helpers all started acting that way too. It's very strange. It doesn't make any sense."
"That's because they are all zombies now I'm afraid." Akira spoke up. Everyone looked and saw him with Perry, Toots, and King Jingaling. Perry sighed with relief when he saw his owners were safe, but immediately put away his hat and went into mindless pet mode. "I should know. Japan is crawling with them now. My friends, parents, and I came here to get away from the zombies to complete my bucket list. Looks like that didn't bode well. Just my luck."
"What's a bucket list?" Bluey wanted to know. "Does it have to do with a bucket?" Akira chucked.
"You're cute, young and innocent. Never grow up, okay?"
"I don't think I can do that, but I'll try my best." Akira smiled.
"But you can always be a preschool cartoon from Australia that even adults can love." Bluey perked up.
"I can do that I think!"
"You sure can." Professor Frankly approached him. "Since you are facing a zombie apocalypse in your country," He began. "You must be familiar with them and know the cure, correct?" Shizuka sighed.
"Just because we're living through a zombie apocalypse does not make him an expert." She spoke. "He used to think my name was 'Miss Risk Analysis' and he much rather goof off and buy non- essentials than fear for his life. He doesn't take this possible 'end of the world' thing seriously. I wouldn't trust that idiotic fool with anything...unless it's driving me places in the RV. I'm surprised you didn't take the RV to collect cartoons. Would have fit more cartoons that way." Akira looked at her.
"I know it would have been smarter, maybe, but the motorcycle is more fun! I would have asked Poof to hitch the RV to the motorcycle, but that'll just slow me down."
"Honestly, it's a miracle that he survived this long."
"I trust Akira!" Kencho put in. Shizuku sighed again.
"Of course you would."
"Ja!" Beatrix added in her German accent. "So would I."
"Sorry." Akira apologized. Everyone groaned in frustration. "I do not. Wish I did though."
"What's an apoc…that word?" Bluey wanted to know. "And what's a cure?" But once again, the dog didn't get an answer.
"But…but…" Remy sputtered. "There must be a way, there must! I…can't be without Vasquez! I…I can't be without my parents. I…I can't be without Cricket and his family. I can't be without anyone! I…don't want to be all alone! I…I…can't!" The child began to hyperventilate and tear up. Everyone gasped, even Hunter looked up from his still sad state to look at Remy. "I can't!"
"Uh, what's happening?" Goh wanted to know.
"Everyone stand back!" Hunter ordered everyone, rushing in between Remy and the others. "He's having a panic attack. Crowding around him will only make it worse. Unfortunately, I had a few myself, but because of my friends, I know how to calm down." He looked at Remy. "Please, you have to breathe." He gently touched him on the knee. Remy looked at him as he breathed in and out a few times. Remy followed along and within a minute, calmed down. "Better?" Remy nodded.
"Thanks." Remy thanked Hunter. "Uh, what was that?"
"That was a panic attack." Remy sniffed sadly.
"I didn't like it. Not at all."
"I didn't like watching that." Bluey put in. "It was scary!"
"I didn't like having all of mine either." Hunter said. "But my friends helped me through them, and so will we. You're just going to have to trust us. I promise, I wouldn't mess with you."
"Yeah." Goh agreed. "Neither will I. And don't worry, we're here, so you aren't alone." Blue decided to lick Remy all over to cheer him up. Remy just laughed and laughed.
"Thanks." He said as Blue stopped licking him. He wiped a tear as he petted the dog. "Thanks to all of you. I feel a little better now." Everyone smiled."I might develop an allergic reaction because of the dog, but I like them, so I don't care even though I really should."
"No prob!" Remy Buxaplenty told him. "Us rich Remys have to stick together."
"Yes. Yes we do. Every last one of us."
"In the meantime," Phineas began. "You can tell Ferb and I about that chicken that your friend launched into space. I'm dying to hear it. And after that, I can tell you about even more inventions that we have planned for the future."
"And you can tell me about the roller coaster and other cool things that you guys did." Remy told Phineas. Phineas smiled.
"Deal!" He then frowned as he saw Remy's rashes. "But maybe right after you get medical help."
"I agree." He then yelled. "Is there a doctor in the house? I would like some help, please! It's kinda urgent!" Doctor Yabui came up to him.
"Let's take a look there, child." Remy smiled.
"Thanks. If my parents know that I didn't take my allergies seriously again, I'll be in deep, deep trouble again." He then cried again. "That is, if I ever see them as non zombies again!"
"You will." Hunter told him. "I promise. I have, or had, I guess, a toy figurine of you back at the castle, so I feel like I have an odd connection to you somehow." Remy just looked at him.
"That's a bit creepy and weird."
"I know it is."
"But seriously." Poof put in. "How can we unzombiefy everyone? We need them back! I need my step godbrother and my parents!"
"And I need my kids and wife back!" Sir Ebrum added.
"And my dear Rainestorm." Eda also added. "They saved me! I would have been a zombie if it weren't for them. They ripped my arm to save me from the Draining Spell and now this." She teared up. "They are so brave!"
"Even though my family and I have a hate/love relationship," Klaus Heisler began in his thick German accent. "I must admit, they don't deserve to have this fate! That und I don't want to be fish food to any zombies."
"I hear your concerns." Professor Frankly said. "And I feel your pain."
"Believe me." Akira chipped in. "I fell in love, then three years later, she was a zombie."
"I hear you." Hunter said. "Watching Willow turn into a zombie was the worst!" Clover buzzed sadly in agreement as Hunter petted her. "Sorry about the Captain, Clover." Akira felt sorry for Hunter.
"I know exactly how you feel." Hunter looked at him, mad.
"No you don't!" He snapped with angry tears in his eyes. Everyone looked surprised at his sudden outburst, especially Akira. "You don't know anything about how I feel! Only I know how I feel! You may think you know how I feel because your first love got turned into a zombie as well as my first love, but you don't know how I 100% truly feel! So, don't say that ever again because it's not true and you know it." Akira sighed and bowed to Hunter.
"You're right. That was wrong for me to say. I don't know exactly how you feel. I'm very sorry and I'm sorry about your girlfriend." Hunter turned calm.
"Thanks, sorry about your first love."
"Thanks. I really appreciate that. I also saw a new friend that I made get eaten alive by a zombie."
"Yikes! That's terrible! Sorry for that too."
"Thanks. It really hurts and haunts me to this day. I wish I had done more, you know."
"It wasn't your fault. Don't blame yourself. You simply didn't know." Akira smiled.
"Thanks."
"Your ex-girlfriend is a zombie?" Bart Simpson questioned Akira. "Cool! And my dad can't strangle me for he's a zombie, so I can say that and get away with it."
"But you really shouldn't." His sister said. "It's not nice." Bart turned to his sister.
"Who cares about nice, Lisa?" Bart questioned. "Live a little!" Akira chuckled.
"I like your spunk, kid." Bart smiled at Akira.
"Thanks. It's nice and refreshing to have an adult agree with me. It's pretty sweet, man!" It was Akira's turn to smile.
"And I don't think she knew I had a crush on her." Bart was puzzled by this.
"She didn't?" Akira shook his head.
"No. I didn't find the courage within me to tell her how I really felt about her until it was too late and she was already a zombie." He chuckled to himself. "It just goes to show you that even grown- ups can make really dumb decisions. Age doesn't really mean anything. It just tells you how long you have been on this earth."
"I'll say! Aye caramba!"
"Again." Frankly said. "I hear you. I really do, even without ears. But this is a safe place, our bunker if you will. If any of us goes out there, we risk turning into a zombie. So, I advise that we stay here, safe and sound, every last one of us. Zombies are among us."
"That's so stupid!" Poof stated. "If we all stay here, how can we find the cure and turn everybody back to normal?" Prof. Frankly looked at the fairy baby.
"I'm sorry. I don't want to become a zombie, do you?"
"Well, no, but…"
"Then stay here where you are safe! It may be the end of the world as we know it. What's 'stupid' is that you can't unwish this for some reason." Poof sighed.
"Yeah, it is." He then realized something.
"I know you are hurting right now. We are all. But trust an old and wise Goomba, this is for the best."
"I suppose you're right." But in reality, he had a plan. Frankly smiled.
"That's a good kid. Sorry about your family. It can't be helped." He sighed. "A zombie pandemic. What a way to celebrate the tenth anniversary of BOOlia's Tales of Horrors." Bluey was once again confused.
"A pan…a pa…that word. Didn't we just finish the last one?" But again, no one answered her…so she just shrugged and went on with her business.
"Since we're all stuck here," Biff began. "Why don't we exercise? It might be good in case we need to run from the zombies again." Dom looked at the hippo.
"Exactly what I was thinking!" The sheep agreed.
"Will it be okay if I film it and post it live on the Internet?" Taichi Kabasawa wanted to know. "It might be good for views. Plus, it might help out other cartoons to run quicker and fight off zombies." Dom and Biff looked at the second smaller blue hippo.
"Good idea." Biff agreed. This got Taichi excited.
"Alright, sweet! Score!" And with that, they all walked off. King Jingaling looked down at his pet.
"I feel bad for the others, but at least we're safe this time, right, Toots?" Toots squeaked happily.
"And at least I didn't die this time." Bottles put in. "Now it looks like my wife and kids will be the ones late for dinner!" He held his head in shame. "Oh, what am I doing? I shouldn't be making jokes at a time like this. Still, I hope that everything will turn out right in the end…somehow."
"Hey." Lumpy Space Princess said to Poof as he flew by her. Poof turned to her. "I agree. It is really stupid that we can't do anything about the zombies and that old Goomba ordered us to stay here and do nothing at all. I mean, who do you think he is?" Poof smiled at her.
"Thanks." He said to her. "But I may know who's behind this and know what to do." Lumpy Space Princess gasped.
"Oh…my…glob! Please, do tell!" Poof whispered something to her. Lumpy Space Princess gasped again.
"Really!? But that's like a death wish and you're just a baby! But, you're immortal so I guess it doesn't matter." Poof nodded.
"Don't tell anyone, okay?"
"I promise I won't. Cross my heart and hope to die! I promise, I'll keep your secret."
"I appreciate that,"
'"Good luck!"
"Thanks. I appreciate that too." And with that, Poof flew off. Bluey noticed this and followed the fairy baby.
Poof saw the Ice King heading towards the back door. The fairy baby stopped him in his tracks.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" He said. "Where are you going?" Ice King eyed him.
"Not your business, little baby!" Ice King told him. "Now, go suck on your binky or whatever fairy babies do." Poof eyed him back.
"I will make it my business! And I can say the same for you, where are you going?" Ice King was about to argue, but decided against it. He sighed.
"Well, if you must know, and don't go tattling on me, but I decided to do something about these dang zombies. By staying here and doing nothing, nothing will get done. I'm going to do something, because, why not? Someone has to! You can't let fear rule your life, kid. You need to take risks to truly live. Now again, you don't go tattling on me or…or…I'll take your candy!"
"Well, joke's on you! Mom doesn't allow me to have any candy and even though she's a zombie now, I'm not planning to have any candy."
"Whatever!" He was about to go again when Poof stopped him again.
"I'll go with you." Ice King was surprised at this.
"What? No, you got to stay here where you're safe. And don't call me a hypocrite for going. I'm an adult, so I can handle it more than you, plus I have ice powers."
"Well, I'm not your ordinary baby. I'm a magic baby with magical powers."
"True, but it's still dangerous. And aren't your powers unpredictable?"
"Please! I, too, want something to be done about these zombies, so I agree with you. That's what I was going to do." The Ice King shook his head.
"No, no way, not going to happen!" Poof then gave him a knowing look.
"If I go, I can't tattle on you!" The Ice King thought about this.
"Dang; kid, you're smart! I hate that!" He sighed. "Fine, you can come with me." Poof cheered to himself. "But only if you promise to listen and obey my orders." Poof sighed.
"Fine, if it means I can come, I will obey." The Ice King smiled.
"Perfect! Now, let's go before someone catches us."
"Wait!" Bluey shouted, running in.
"Well, that didn't last long." Poof observed. The Ice King just sighed.
"Can I come with you two?" They both looked at the Blue Heeler.
"No, absolutely not!" Ice King told her.
"Why?"
"Well, like I told Poof, it's too dangerous. And we both have powers, what are you going to do? Be all cute and innocent? Because, it's not going to work, pup. The world isn't always a nice and wholesome preschool show that even adults can enjoy. I hate to tell you that, but that is how it is."
"Oh, please! I wanna save my mum, dad and sister and everybody else!"
"If everybody said that, there'd be more cartoons fighting against the zombies, which would be nice but also super risky. So, no and no means no. And if anybody is reading this to a preschooler right now, and they hear that you went along, you'll be setting a bad example for them. They will be angry parents, and angry parents are the reason why cartoons have to play it safe now and can no longer get away with stuff in the way that they used to."
"But what if I was going for the right reason? Then they'll love me for it!" Ice King narrowed his eyes at the dog.
"No! No means no. Sorry, dog." Bluey frowned.
"Ok." The Ice King then smiled.
"Don't worry! We'll make sure you reunite with your family and everyone else is safe." Bluey smiled with a tail wag.
"Ok. I believe you."
"Right." The Ice King looked at Poof. "Let's go, kid."
"Wait!" They both stopped and looked at Hunter. "I want to go too." The Ice King sighed.
"Not you too." Hunter looked down at Bluey.
"I have an important job for you, ok?" The Blue Heeler looked at him.
"Ooh! What is it?" She asked with interest.
"Watch over Clover, okay?" Bluey was confused. "The bumblebee." Bluey then got it. She then grew concerned.
"The bee won't sting me, right?"
"No. Clover knows you're a good dog."
"Clover's right. I am a good dog!" She then snickered as she skipped away.
"Do kids today have a death wish or something?" The Ice King questioned. Hunter looked at him. "These zombies aren't our friends. They will kill you, eat you alive or turn you into one of them. It's dangerous, okay?"
"I know it's dangerous, but I don't care! Willow and my friends all turned into zombies, and I'm going to do something about it. My first friend, Flapjack, who was nothing but loyal to me, sacrificed his life just to save mine! I was willing to face and fight the awful man who brutally hurt Flap and attempted to murder him even though I was downright terrified of him. I failed in keeping Flap safe, so if there's just a slim chance, I want to do all that I can to save Willow and my other friends and there's nothing you can do to stop me! I may not have magic, but I have combat skills." He then began to plead. "Please? I promised a little boy that he'd see his parents again as non zombies. "
"Yeah!" Poof agreed. "He out of all of us deserves to go!" The Ice King sighed.
"Fine!" Hunter was surprised.
"Wait, really?" He wanted to know.
"Yeah, really?" Poof questioned, also surprised.
"Yeah. You might go off and do it anyway. You're a teenager. They can be so rebellious," He then was firm. "But you two better be the only ones, besides me. And don't you two go blabbing to the others that I let you two come along." Both Hunter and Poof agreed. Poof then looked at Hunter.
"Don't you have your artificial staff at the castle? I can easily poof that up for you, or will that upset you and unlock bad memories?" Hunter looked at the fairy baby.
"There's no way I'm using that staff again. However, I have no way to get wherever we are going to fast enough, but I have an idea. But I'll need your help."
"Sure." Poof agreed. "What did you have in mind?" Hunter told him.
Poof, Hunter and The Ice King were outside looking at Akira's motorcycle.
"Do you know how to drive it?" The fairy baby wanted to know of Hunter.
"No." Hunter admitted. "But I flew airships in the Demon Realm and drove a car in the Human Realm in Connecticut. Now, do you have his keys?" Poof gave him Akira's keys that he magically took from Akira's pocket. "Thanks. Now, let me try this out." He sat down on the seat and grabbed onto the handles.
As soon as he put the keys in the engine, the motorcycle roared to life. He screamed as he tried to drive it, but zoomed into a nearby tree. Poof and The Ice King flinched.
"Titan!" He cursed after a while of trying and failing. "This is harder than it looks. How do humans do it?" The Ice King and Poof flew to him.
"You better let me take the wheel, kid." The Ice King said to him. "Before you know, kill yourself." Hunter looked at him.
"You can drive this thing?" He asked.
"No, but while you were trying and failing several times driving this motorcycle, Poof poofed me up a manual on basic motorcycle controls. I may not be an expert, but I have the gist down at least. Now, give me the wheel and you can sit behind me." Hunter sighed.
"Fine!" He sat behind him. Poof sat behind Hunter.
"I know I can fly." He began. "But there's no way that I'm missing out on this! Plus, you're driving and also can fly."
"Fair enough." The Ice King said. "Oh, and I thank you for letting me change from Simon to an ice wizard before the zombies took over." He strapped on Akira's helmet and put on his goggles.
"Thanks. Good thing I can still fly at least."
"Yeah, good for me too." He changed the subject. "Do you have your helmets?" Poof sighed and poofed him and Hunter helmets. The two put them and strapped them on their heads.
"Yes." Poof stated. "You sound like a Mom right now. And why do you have the goggles?"
"Since I'm the one driving and I look so dang cool wearing them. That's why. Now, shut up and here we go." And with that they drove off.
Akira and Bart walked outside so Akira could show Bart his motorcycle. Akira reached into his pocket when he realized the keys weren't there. He panicked as he checked his other pocket.
"What's wrong?" Bart asked Akira.
"My keys!" Akira cried. "I could have sworn I put them in one of them!"
"Bummer, man!" He then saw The Ice King, Poof and Hunter zoom off on it. "Say, is that it?" Akira saw this and shouted at them.
"HEY! THAT'S MY MOTORCYCLE! IT DOESN'T BELONG TO YOU THREE! WELL, TECHNICALLY IT DOESN'T BELONG TO ME EITHER, BUT THAT'S BESIDE THE POINT! HEY!" He swore loudly as he saw it disappear in the distance. He looked at Bart.
"Sorry I swore." He apologized. Bart just shrugged.
"I heard worse." He said. "So, do what you have to and get it out of your system."
"Where are we going?" Hunter wanted to know.
"Don't know." The Ice King admitted. "But sit back, and I guess we're going to wherever the road takes us."
"I was thinking about the Anti- Fairy castle in Anti- Fairy World, but not all of us can fly and I can't poof us there, so let's just hope for the best." Hunter looked determined.
Don't worry, Luz, Willow and other cartoons that turned into zombies. This fairy baby, blue wizard and I will do whatever it takes to turn you all back into your regular selves again. Just hang in there!
King Boo, Gruntilda, Foop, and the other cartoon villains were all in Gruntilda's castle. They were all watching Hunter, Poof and The Ice King zooming past zombiefied cartoons on Akira's motorcycle inside of Dingpot.
"Those poor fools don't know what they put themselves into." Foop observed. "Risking their lives like this. Ha! It's like they want to join the undead. They should have just stayed with their friends back at that zombie shelter."
"Yeah!" Gruntilda agreed. "On that motorcycle they zoom, they don't know that very soon, they will meet their doom!" Sideshow Bob did a loud groan.
"Oh, please!" He said. "Not again! I thought you were done with the rhyming." Gruntilda looked at him and looked ashamed.
"You're right." She said with a sigh. "I guess old habits die hard. Sorry."
"It's okay. Just don't do it again."
"Try, I will. It'll give you a great thrill. I mean, ok."
"They will never find the three ingredients in time!" Foop said. "They don't even know where one is! There is no possible way! They will turn into zombies, along with their friends, and do our bidding! It's like taking candy away from a baby!"
"Yeah!" Plankton agreed. "A really stupid baby because, you know, babies are stupid, really stupid!" The evil cartoons all did their evil laughs. Foop nudged Plankton. He sighed. "Ok. Not all babies!"
Hunter, Ice King and Poof were all riding on the motorcycle all day. It was several hours into the night and they were all growing tired.
"Can't…keep…eyes…on road." The Ice King said, drowsily. "I think we have to stop for the night."
"No!" Hunter disagreed. "We have to figure out a way to reverse this. It's now or never!"
"I know you really want your girlfriend back." Poof told the impatient Hunter. "But you have to rest too. Mom will agree. You must be tired too…especially with those bags under your eyes, so you need to sleep more than any of us." Hunter sighed.
"Fine! We can rest until morning, but then we continue." Poof pointed at a nearby hotel.
"Ok, Ice King." He ordered. "Park by that hotel."
"Got it!" Ice King agreed and did just that. The three got out and they went inside of the hotel. However, none of them realized that this was no ordinary hotel, it was The Last Resort!
