Lolbit could never forget the feeling of getting scooped.
No matter how many times it happened, the feeling never dulled. Yes, they learned not to react, to endure, to ignore. But it wasn't something that would ever stop hurting.
It wasn't a pain that would ever go away, it didn't work like that, at least not for them. Usually they would be stuck in an aching darkness, waiting for the pain to be relieved once they were put back together after being torn apart. But not this time, they were in the dark, but there was no pain.
Though right now they didn't feel anything, it wasn't strange, their sensors would malfunction every now and then, but it would never stop the pain, unless they had been powered off. A light appeared before them, they were being pushed towards it. They allowed themselves to be pushed, though as they got closer, they felt a pair of hands on their head.
Large hands that were bigger than their head, the hands were unmistakably human. Usually human hands were smaller than their head, usually they themselves were both taller and wider than a human, towering over the small beings.
Had they been given a new body?
They disregarded the thought immediately, before they had time to think of anything else, they were enveloped in a light, and something was wrapped around them. They felt movement, they had been passed to someone else.
They felt warm, something they should be unable to feel. As an animatronic, the only feeling they were given was getting cold and being in pain by either the scooper or the controlled shocks. And as fun as it was being connected to the entire underground system, it had the unfortunate drawback of shocking them everytime one of the others were given controlled shocks.
"My beautiful daughter." it was a whisper, though that one sentence held a lot of emotion, none of which they could quite understand. They opened their eyes, being met with the sight of a human female, she was holding them.
Why was this human larger than them? Why had they been called daughter? That would imply having relations with this human. Though that would be impossible, they themself weren't human. They were passed to another human, this one was a male,
"You will be Lolbit." he stated firmly, "Kitsunezaki Lolbit." They just stared at this man, this man who had just named them what was already theirs, though there was an added last name. They had just been called a daughter, then given a surname.
They had heard of this, it was something called reincarnation. Though it was said to be something that happened once a human died, even then it was widely thought of as myth. But Lolbit was dissuaded from this theory; they had been scooped multiple times, and not once had this happened, nor were they 'dead' when scooped, merely in a different state of awareness. Plus, they weren't even human. So this was something else.

Many months had passed, and Lolbit could now walk. She had come to the realisation that she was a human female child merely an hour after her entrance. But there was something strange about these humans -and herself in turn- they had fox ears and a tail.
Lolbit was sure that humans didn't have these appendages, unless she had somehow been lied to, which would have been impossible considering the amount of human remains they had seen. Though she wouldn't complain, it was something she found comfort in, she would have hated to be without her tail and ears, she was and will always be a fox.
Her parents were strange, but then again, that was just all humans. Her father was always stone-faced, and hardly talked, unless he told her mother what to do. Her mother was quiet, always doing as the man said.

Lolbit didn't love her parents, not even close. She didn't hate them either, they were more of an annoyance.
Over the years, she had learned she was part of a clan. The Kitsunezaki clan was full of fox people. She had long ago come to the conclusion that this was not the world she once lived in, first off, there were no fox people, and no clans or whatever.
The clan is very old-school, treating women as if they were maids, and the woman let them, they were happy to do as they were told. Found pride in whoever could serve their spouse better. Unfortunately for Lolbit, she had been born a female, and therefore was expected to do so as well. She had no intention of submitting to the whims of some man, or anyone for that matter.

She was slightly different from everyone else. It had been apparent from the time she could walk. Her eyes held intelligence, more so than should be possible for someone of her age.
Her parents were happy at first, but that was soon swept away when she started to talk. The girl stuttered a lot, which was seen as unattractive, and the girl laughed a lot, which was almost worse.
They tried all they could to silence her, women were meant to be silent and submissive. Which the girl was not. And she would bite, this would be normal for a child, but Lolbit grew teeth in fast, and it wasn't just her canines that were sharp, all her teeth were. She didn't bite often, but sometimes if someone tried to grab her, she would, and so they tried to teach her. They muzzled her and left her in their backyard, deciding that if she acted like an animal, they would treat her like one.
She found this hypocritical, considering they were technically animals themselves. It didn't help, she still would not listen to anyone if they ordered her to do something, and the clan hated it. Her parents had brought potential suitors to her, but almost all of them had immediately refused when they saw how she did not listen to the man, as she was meant to.
This was the last suitor, the second son of the clan head. The boy older than her by several years, at the age of fifteen he was cocky and he was determined to make her submit. It had come to the point that they treated her more like an animal than a person, only taking her out of the basement to try to train.
This was one of those times, the boy was tall, a smug smirk on his face, as if he had already won. She instantly disliked him. He held himself with so much arrogance that it practically seeped from his very being.
She bit him. More specifically, she bit his hand right off.
There was a moment, where everyone stared at her in horror, before the boy fell to the ground, clutching his stump to his chest. Blood dribbled down her chin, her whole mouth stained red. She stared at the boy with her usual grin, bloody teeth glinting, sharper than it should have been possible. Needless to say, she did not get an owner. For she was never a pet.
Lolbit had been banished from the clan, all but thrown out. Of course, she was more than happy to leave. Next plan of action: Hunter exams. She grinned excitedly.
