MAKEOUT SESSION, 8:07 P.M., REGINA'S HOUSE, LIVING ROOM, COUCH
Regina's hands were tangled in Emma's hair as Emma wrapped her arms tightly around Regina's waist. The room was filled with the sweet sound of their kisses, and for a moment, nothing else mattered. Just as things were starting to heat up, Emma suddenly pulled away with a mischievous grin spreading across her face.
"Wait, wait," she giggled, trying to catch her breath. "I have to tell you something."
Regina looked up at her with desire still in her eyes. "What could be so important right now?" she asked, her voice husky.
"Regina, it's really important, since we started dating I can't get it out of my mind," Emma said, her voice full of remorse.
Regina looked at her with concern. "What is it, Emma?"
"I've been shredding some of the police reports lately," Emma confessed. "I haven't had time to fill them out, and I didn't want you to find out."
Regina's eyes narrowed with suspicion. "Why would you shred the reports, Emma? And how many have you shredded?"
Emma hesitated before answering. "A few dozen."
Regina's jaw dropped. "What? That's outrageous, Emma!"
Emma nodded in agreement. "I know, Regina. I'm sorry. But there's something else I need to tell you."
Regina looked at her with concern again. "Okay…?"
Emma hesitated before answering. "Well, I used to make up reports."
"Make up reports? What do you mean?"
"I used to make up incidents," Emma confessed, her face turning red. "I would write reports about you doing scandalous things around town. The whole station knew about it, except you, because I always threw those reports away before going to your office."
Regina's eyes widened in shock. "Are you serious? You can't just fabricate crimes for your own amusement."
"I know," Emma said, feeling guilty but unable to stop herself from giggling. "But it was just so much fun."
Regina's curiosity got the better of her, "Can you give me an example of one of these scandalous reports you made up about me?"
Emma hesitated, feeling a little embarrassed, "Uh, I don't know if that's a good idea..."
But Regina was insistent, "Come on, Emma, I want to hear it."
With a sigh, Emma relented, "Okay, fine. There was one report where I said I caught you skinny dipping in the town square fountain at midnight."
Regina gasped. "What? I would never do something like that!"
"I know," Emma said, trying to stifle another giggle.
Regina shook her head in disbelief, "I can't believe you made something like that up about me."
Despite her mischievous ways, Emma couldn't help but laugh at Regina's expression, "Well, I had to make things interesting at the station, you know? And everyone believed it! They even wanted me to investigate and catch the 'fountain diver'."
Regina's shock slowly turned into amusement as she caressed Emma's back. "What else did you make up?"
Emma grinned. "There was one where I said I caught you spray painting a giant heart with our initials on the side of the police station because you've had too much cider."
Regina rolled her eyes, "That's so cheesy, Emma."
"I know," Emma admitted with a chuckle. "But it got the whole station talking. They all wanted to know who you were secretly in love with."
Regina raised an eyebrow. "And what did you tell them?"
Emma winked at her. "I told them it was me, of course."
Once again, Regina rolled her eyes. "You're impossible, Emma."
But Emma continued, "In one report, I claimed you were secretly experimenting with spells on squirrels from the park in your vault to develop an anti-tickling potion."
"What? I would never do something like that. Why would I need that?"
Emma shrugged, "I know, but it was a slow news week, and I had to come up with something. My mom even cried when she caught me shredding that report."
Regina laughed, "You made Snow cry over a fake report about me experimenting on squirrels?"
Emma nodded with a sly grin, "Yep, I guess I took it too far that time. But it got everyone's attention."
"You are a true troublemaker, Emma. I don't know how I put up with you sometimes."
Emma gave Regina a quick kiss. "Because you secretly love my antics."
Regina smirked, "Maybe just a little bit."
Emma continued, "Oh, and there was one where I claimed you were the mastermind behind stealing all the pies from the annual pie-eating contest to guarantee your win."
Regina lifted herself off Emma's lap and threw her hands up in the air, "Okay, that's it. I can't take any more of this."
Emma smiled widely, "Sorry, baby, I couldn't resist."
"I can't believe people still think that happened. And to think, I had no idea any of this was going on behind my back!"
"I know, I know," Emma said, trying to stifle her laughter. "I promise I'll make it up to you."
Regina took a deep breath and put her hands on her hips. "I don't know if that's possible. You've tarnished my reputation for life." Then she shook her head and continued, "But you know what, let's start with the reports. You're going to fill out every single one you missed, starting with the oldest."
Emma let out a groan. "That's going to take forever! How am I even supposed to remember them?"
Regina gave her a stern look. "You brought this upon yourself, Miss Swan."
Emma chuckled. "Okay, okay, I'll do it. But can we finish what we were doing before I confessed?"
Regina straddled Emma's lap again, her lips curving into a sly smile. "Oh, you mean this?" She leaned in and kissed Emma deeply, their bodies pressing against each other. As they broke apart for air, Emma couldn't help but smile. Despite her mischief-making ways, Regina always knew how to bring her back to the present moment.
