Alexander Wins A Trip Part 1
On a cool autumn morning just before school began, Alexander Cabot III was packing his twin sister's backpack because Alexandra made him pack it.
When Alexandra came down the stairs.
"Is my backpack packed for school yet?" Alexandra asked Alexander, she was impatient.
"Why do I have to get your stupid stuff packed?" Alexander asked Alexandra, he was getting irritable.
"I have a good reason, Dear Brother," Alexandra said. "I have to finish dressing up, I want to look my best for when Alan arrives."
"Oh, that's a great reason." Alexander said sarcastically.
"Isn't it?" Alexandra asked.
Alexander finished packing Alexandra's backpack by putting her filled lunchbox inside it.
"It's all set for you, Sister Dear." Alexander said to Alexandra.
"Hurry up, Alexander," Alexandra said, strapping her black backpack upon her back. "Alan will be here to drive us to our new school, Winston Prep Academy any minute now!"
Alexander strapped his own backpack, "I'm ready now, Sister Dear." he said.
Within a few minutes, Alan's van pulled up to the Cabot twins' house.
"Now remember, Alex, sit in the back with Josie and her buddies while I sit next to Alan in the front seat." Alexandra said.
"And, how do you know the front seat won't already be taken?" Alexander asked Alexandra.
"Why wouldn't it be? I'm sure Alan has saved just for me." Alexandra said to Alexander, feigning innocence.
"Oh, brother." Alexander sighed.
The siblings approached the van to get inside, but to Alexandra's disappointment, Josie was in the front seat next to Alan.
"Hey! What's Josie doing in the front seat?" Alexandra asked, clearly jealous.
"Oh, I told her she could, besides, I like having good company sitting next to me." Alan answered Alexandra.
"What about me?" Alexandra whined at Alan.
"Didn't you hear him? Alan said good company! Ha ha ha!" Alexander laughed.
As Alexander got into the van to sit next to Valerie who was sitting behind Alan, still laughing, Sebastian snickered at his owner's rotten luck.
"Oh, button up, you dumb feline!" Alexandra snapped at Sebastian, climbing into the very back seat to sit next to Melody who sat behind Valerie.
With everyone inside, Alan drove off, carrying the group to the academy.
On the way to Winston Prep, Alan passed by an electronics store.
"Stop here, Alan!" Alexander called excitedly.
