I do not own any fandoms used in this story. Do own the cover picture though (any thoughts on that one I think it's pretty good.)

Aria watched the man who'd changed her fate with wary eyes. Her chest tightened at the familiar deity in front of her. Her 'patron' sat in a bed of frost tipped nightshade flowers. The air around him had a misty quality to it and shadows twisted at the edge of the forest surrounding the clearing. Teal colored fish had been replaced by dark purple koi that swam in circles around black water lilies .

There were new scars littering his shoulders, another twisted around his neck. Did someone try to strangle him? Even his hair was shorter. Although she supposed everyone changed over time, even deities.

She sat down beside him without hesitation. A shiver rushed through her body when her fingers brushed against the frozen flowers. She ran her hand over the petals noting the silk-like feeling. It reminded her of the pajamas that Envy had gotten for her. Her shoulders relaxed when she noticed the deity studying her. After spending so much time with Greed, she knew enough to realize that this man wasn't going to harm her. Not even a God would hurt their possessions just for fun.

"You've changed," he said. A smile crossed his face.

Her cheeks warmed at the praise. For a deity to admit that she'd changed from the scared little girl he'd met all those years ago was nice. That didn't mean he'd called her here just to tell her that. It was obvious they'd both changed, there was no reason to tell her that. Then again they hadn't seen each other in ten years, and there wasn't any sign that he'd been watching over her either. As a God, he must've had better things to do than look after her. Or at least that was kind of what she hoped; it'd be a bit weird if a God was watching over her every movement. Weird but not unexpected.

"What did it cost to send me to Amestris," she asked. Despite how soft her voice was, the words echoed between them.

Her eyes shifted to his scars again. Had it been her fault that he'd been injured to the point of scaring? There was a sinking, unsettled, feeling in her stomach at the idea of causing his injuries. Even he had limitations and there was a chance he'd gotten hurt because of her.

"Nothing, you actually gained me the upper hand," he admitted. He smirked when her eyes narrowed into a glare. The little girl from before never would have dreamed of glaring at him. Greed had been good for her. Kimblee too.

Of course, he'd known the Homunculus would raise her properly. It was why he'd chosen the man after all. Not only that but she'd brought together three of the seven Homunculus along with gaining their loyalty. Even not counting her status as the Crown Princess of Xing, she was one of the more powerful souls in his collection. It was likely she'd be able to take on most of her future challenges herself, but adding in her family would make things much more interesting. He'd chosen well when he sent her to Greed.

Instead of questioning him, the girl nodded. It was more than a little obvious there were things he couldn't tell her. In truth, she doubted he'd ever be able to tell her everything after all Gods like him worked differently than humans like herself. Finding out she'd been used as leverage was a bit strange, but she didn't mind. Both Greed and this God treated her as an object, a possession, yet they weren't emotionless.

"Oh right, I never gave my name," he stated although the amusement in his voice was far more interesting.

She tilted her head when he leaned back on his hands. The flowers shifted away from his hands. For a moment she considered the silent offer before nodding. While she trusted him, having a name for him would be nice. When his smirk softened, she forced back the urge to question him; it was a bit strange he gave her this much freedom, then again it wasn't as if she could stand against him. Maybe he allowed her so much freedom because she was weaker than him.

"I'm known as the Primordial Chaos."

So, he wasn't a God. That was more than a little surprising considering the amount of power he had. Where did a Primordial stand on the scale of deities anyway? Was he stronger than a God? Eyeing the man who waited patiently, she frowned. He wasn't a God nor was he a Devil. Although he'd asked her to pick between the two there had never been a correct answer. Had he been testing her or toying with her? There was no doubt that he was exactly like her dad.

What is it with possessive men being total sadists? Giving impossible tests was one thing, but setting her up for failure was another. There was part of her that wanted to call him out on it, mainly due to her Uncle's influence. With a shrug she wrapped her arms around her legs.

"You're above a God?"

"There's my clever girl," he praised.

Her cheeks warmed at the praise and she raised an eyebrow. The old nickname brought back a rush of fondness that she couldn't deny at all. Even if it'd been for his own profit, he'd still saved her. Not only had he ensured she lived past the age of seven, but he'd given her a new life. She owed him more than she could repay.

"Is Truth a Primordial too," she asked mainly because the white being hadn't felt nearly as strong as the man in front of her. The dark chuckle that left his lips told her everything she needed to know and nothing at the same time. A pout formed on her lips.

"No, he's simply the God assigned to that world. He's fairly young," he said as if the idea of Truth being on the same level as him was laughable.

He was indulging her; making her comfortable. There was only one reason for him to bring her here. A reason that she'd been trying to ignore ever since she opened her eyes. She was going back to England. To her relatives that despised her very existence. The mere idea of returning to that house caused her skin to crawl. Part of her wanted to crumble into pieces at the mere idea of returning to England, but she was the daughter of a Homunculus and the Crimson Alchemist. They'd raised her to be strong.

"I'm going back…"

Everything and everyone she loved was in Xing. There was no reason for her to return, nor had the thought ever crossed her mind. If not for the glint in his eyes, then she'd be on her knees begging for him to change his mind. Closing her eyes for a moment she pushed back the urge to scream about how unfair the situation was. If he sent her back, she'd kill everyone who got in the way of her returning home, he had to know that.

"I tried to put it off, give you another year," he admitted. He'd tried to fight for her just like Greed had fought for the Chimera's.

"I-"

She should accept it. That was the obvious thing to do, however, she had no desire to conform to the destiny she'd been given. Somehow that didn't seem like an idea he'd be opposed to. As a force embodying chaos, it was unlikely he cared for staying true to one set path. Still, no matter his plan she only had one life. Living just to satisfy him or anyone else would be pure foolishness.

"I don't want to go back."

The admission hung between them like an ax waiting to be swung. She didn't want to go back to the people who neglected and starved her for years. More than anything she didn't want to risk falling right back into being the scared little girl too weak to protect herself. Her teeth dug into her lip until she tasted blood and her nails dug into her knees. Despite trying to calm herself, there was no way to stop her hands from shaking or her chest from aching. Why did he want her to go back when he'd been the one to save her?

"Easy…"

She leaned away from the hands that brushed against her shoulder. Her eyes met his own and she tried to take a breath despite the way her lungs burned. For a moment, she wanted Greed or Ling to save her. There had to be a way out that didn't end with her being forced back there. Every problem had a solution, a loophole. Too bad this wasn't one of those problems; there was no way out of this. Returning to England was always the plan. If she tried to fight then it might just end up being worse.

She didn't want to return. Seeing the Dursleys again, meant she had the chance of becoming nothing once more. Going back to who she used to be would be worse than dying. Rough hands landed on her shoulders before she could spiral any further.

"I know, but at least you're not a fourteen-year-old child," he stated. The cold in his voice wasn't supposed to comfort her but it did. Taking a deep breath, she nodded. Right, she wasn't a kid anymore, she was stronger now. Flickering her gaze downward to where his knees were touching the ground, she raised an eyebrow. He really shouldn't be kneeling. An amused chuckle left his lips before he said, "I'm also not sending you empty-handed."

Chaos was five seconds away from hunting down his twin and forcing him into hibernation for the next two thousand years. Fate was a bastard. Once again the situation was repeating itself with another unprepared hero destined to die. However, Aria wasn't just some random unprepared hero, he'd ensured she'd be strong enough to survive. For over two years, he'd fought to keep her destiny at bay just to spite his brother. It was exactly what he'd been doing for centuries.

"I managed to hold back the tide until you reached seventeen."

He'd stalled time in that world. It'd been easy, especially since he had the ruling deity's permission. Of course, that didn't mean she'd done it for free. His power locking that world in place gave her time to shift the balance enough to ensure Aria had a fighting chance. Although given that the two women shared the same blood he knew she would've done so anyway.

"You won't be going alone either," he admitted. He smirked at the relieved whispers that echoed through her mind then she stiffed at the realization she'd have to explain the situation.

"Will we be leaving now?"

"No, there's about a day left, I wanted to warn you as a reward."

"Reward?"

Had she really amused him that much?

"For picking my element, my clever girl."

She couldn't keep the small smile from tugging at her lips. He really was just like her dad. After all, he was hers just like she was his. They'd owned each other since the moment he'd made her that offer. Still, she had a single day to explain everything to her family despite the fact she'd never wanted them to learn anything about her past. As his hand landed on her head, she still wanted to argue, after all, she wasn't the same little girl he'd first met. If he wanted her to return to England, she would; however, she'd also follow her own path.

Grinning, he ruffled her hair with a gentleness she hadn't expected. It didn't matter to him how Fate's little story was going to end, he just knew it wasn't going to end the way his brother wanted. Either way, the bargain between him and Fate was going to end in victory. His expression didn't change as she nodded instantly with an easy agreement. This child he'd chosen no doubt had the ability to rewrite destiny.

Hello loves, happy to see you guys again.

First of all this will be a multiple fandom crossover. I'll leave the fandoms a surprise, so let me know your guesses of fandom. I'll be updating a chapter every Saturday. Hopefully. Here's the start of the sequel. I'll be doing a Q&A at chapter seven so let me know any questions you have and i'll answer them then.
