PREVIOUSLY-
"Oh yeah, you two are soo getting hitched before you graduate." Paul smirked, shaking his head, and then chuckling at us.
Jared smiled and looked over at me. "See babe, I told you."
I shook my head, walking over to Paul and motioning for him to finish buttoning his shirt so that I could fix his tie.
Once both of them were sufficiently dressed, I double checked my work and smiled.
"Are you guys ready?" I asked them.
"Let's go, babe." Jared said, reaching his hand out for mine.
"I'm gonna be pissed if I have to phase and shred these clothes. They're probably the only nice things I have." Paul said as we all walked out the door toward the path in the woods.
"Let's hope nothing happens to warrant any of you phasing." I muttered to them.
We made our way back to the Clearwater's and once there, I saw many people headed around the house to the backyard. We followed suit and walked around, seeing a large bonfire going in the back with many logs seated around it.
I saw Charlie wave us down, so I tugged Jared's hand in that direction with Paul following behind.
"Hey there, Bells, Jared." Charlie said as we approached, then turning to look at Paul.
"Dad, have you met Paul?" I asked him.
"Yeah, we met yesterday when he was helping out over here. Good to see ya, son." Charlie said, shaking Paul's hand as I smiled.
We all sat on the same log with Charlie and I in the middle, Jared next to me, and Paul sitting next to Charlie as they kept a very close watch on the two new members of the pack.
The service went by quickly and without incident, although Sam corralled Leah and Seth inside the house and away from people very quickly afterward.
As we were getting ready to leave, Charlie came back over to us.
"Now Jared, you make sure my baby girl gets to school on Monday. Is that clear, son?" Charlie told him as he held out his hand to shake.
"Won't be a problem, Charlie." Jared replied with a reassuring smile.
Jared, Paul, and I made our way back home. Home. That felt so nice to say. After making it back with no incidents (thanks to Jared for catching me mid-air after I tripped over my own feet), I decided to make us all dinner before Paul had to go patrol.
They both changed out of their nice clothes, back to nothing but shorts, as I cooked some salmon. We ate the dinner and Jared offered to wash the dishes, which I was grateful for.
"Alright B, I gotta head out. I can already hear Embry in the woods. I'd tell you two to be good, but I know better." He winked. "Be back at midnight. See ya, lovebirds!" Paul said as he walked out the back door, waving and laughing.
I laughed and turned to watch Jared as he washed the dishes. "It's like he knows," I wiggled my eyebrows as I joked, knowing he very much did know.
I swear Jared did the dishes at a supernatural speed because he was done and lifting me into the bedroom before I could even process what was happening.
I giggled as he sat me down on the bed, carefully pulling my dress over my head as he did so. Feeling his excitement fueled my own excitement and quelled any nervousness that I had prior to.
My bra was across the room and my panties were somehow in shreds before I could even blink my eyes. I reached forward and pulled down his shorts, letting him spring free from them, ready for what came next.
Jared reached down and felt how slick I already was for him, causing him to moan and his member to twitch.
"You're already nice and ready for me, aren't you babe?" He asked in a husky voice. I nodded incoherently.
He began kissing down the side of my neck and I arched into him, wanting more. I needed him. I needed to feel him inside of me. I felt like I was an addict and he was my fix.
"Please, Jared. I need you." I begged.
He was happy to oblige. He kissed me once more before maneuvering my legs into the correct position for him to be able to access me better.
I then felt him at my entrance. He looked at me seriously. I nodded to him, not needing him to say the words to ask permission.
He carefully pushed forward, closing his eyes in the process, an overload of sensations flooding us both. It only hurt momentarily before the real sensations began.
I couldn't control the sounds coming out of my throat when he began sliding in and out in a steady rhythm. I was in nothing but pure bliss. There was a spot that he was hitting inside of me that was causing the pressure to build again and before I knew it, it felt like the whole world exploded in ecstasy.
He kept going, pushing through my insane orgasm as I could feel his emotions reaching their own peak. My walls still clenching down on him and releasing caused him to erupt inside of me, almost without warning. I felt his teeth bite down into the flesh between my neck and shoulder and it suddenly caused me to spasm into bliss once more.
The action made me feel so alive and so much more connected to him than before. It shocked me, but in such a good way. Our bond was consummated and I felt like a puddle of happiness beneath my imprint.
The next morning, I woke up to Jared running his finger down my bare arm. I blinked a few times to get acclimated and smiled up at him.
"Good morning," I whispered to him happily.
He leaned down and kissed me. "Good morning, babe."
"I could lay here all day. I'm so comfortable." I mused, soaking in his warmth that was cocooning my naked body.
"Me too," then he groaned, "but I have to go run a circuit before we head up to Port A." He ran his hand down his face.
"That'll give me time to take a shower, get ready, and make some breakfast for you guys before we have to go," I replied to him, hoping that would help his motivation a little.
He gave me another kiss before standing up out of the bed, stretching, then walking over to his dresser to grab a pair of shorts as I appraised him, biting my lip.
He chuckled, still looking away, and said, "keep thinking like that, babe, and I'm going to take you out in the forest with me to have a different type of circuit."
I blushed. "Sounds exciting."
He turned back to look at me with a 'not fair' look. "Don't tempt me."
I sighed. "Fine, fine. Rain check?"
His eyes lit up with excitement. "Really?"
"Maybe," I winked at him teasingly.
He walked back up to me and kissed me hungrily before pulling away. "I'll keep that in mind. Be back in about an hour."
Jared left and I quickly took a shower, noting that my nether regions were a little sore from our previous night's activity. After I finished getting ready for the day, I walked out to the kitchen to make breakfast.
After grabbing the sausage out of the fridge, I closed the door.
"Boo!"
I about jumped out of my skin. Once I gained my bearings, I realized it was just Paul. He was laughing as I continued to try and catch my breath.
I slapped him on the shoulder for scaring me.
"So abusive. Does J know that?" He joked, pretending to be hurt.
"That wasn't funny, Paul!" I scolded him.
"Oh, but it totally was. The look on your face was priceless." He laughed again.
I glared at him and shoved a carton of eggs into his hands. He looked down at them in confusion.
"Crack these," I commanded him before giggling. "It's your punishment for nearly scaring me to death."
Paul finally conceded and started helping me make breakfast.
"So did you have any issues on patrol last night?" I asked him curiously.
"I caught a scent up in the outskirts of Forks. It seemed to follow the Cullen's scent up north," he responded, making me look at him worriedly.
"Was it Victoria?" I really hoped it wasn't.
His expression said it all. "We're not going to let her get anywhere close to you, B."
"I trust you." I relayed, truly meaning it.
"Sam is going to run with me when we go up to Port A, Embry and Jacob are going to stay around Forks to keep an eye on Charlie, and Seth and Leah will stay on the res." Paul informed me.
I had to admit, it did make me feel better knowing that Charlie would be protected as well, although I still felt responsible for there being the need in the first place.
We finished up making the breakfast and literally just as we were setting the plates down on the table, Jared walked in.
He walked up and kissed me on the side of the head before pulling out my chair for me.
"Anything new?" Paul asked him as he sat down.
"Nah, the scent was starting to get old already. Sam told me the deal for today when I first phased in." Jared then turned to me. "Sam also told me that we could borrow his truck. We're going to need the extra bed space for everything. Don't forget Charlie said to stop by his house on the way."
We ate and Jared quickly changed into real clothes before Sam pulled up in driveway to bring his truck and run with Paul.
Jared and I made our way up to Charlie's and he met us outside carrying a bank envelope.
"Morning, Bells, Jared. You guys sure got a nice day to drive up to Port Angeles. Who's truck?" Charlie asked as he walked up to the passenger side window.
"Morning, Dad. It's Sam's truck. He let us borrow it for the day so that we can fit everything." I told him.
"That's awfully nice of him. Here, I want to give you this. Think of it as a housewarming gift so that you can get what you need."
Charlie handed me the envelope and I opened it, shocked at the amount inside.
"$1000?!" I nearly shouted. "Dad that's too much."
"Charlie, we don't—" Jared attempted but Charlie cut him off.
"Nonsense, son. When Bella moved back up here, I promised to do everything in my power to take care of her and make sure she was comfortable. It's your job to take care of her now, but I can still make sure she's damn good and comfortable wherever she lives." Charlie told him and I nearly felt tears in my eyes.
"Of course, Charlie. And I promise to take care of her for the rest our lives." Jared reached over and grabbed my hand, squeezing lightly. I could feel the absolute truth of his promise.
"Damn right you will, son. I don't know why I trust you so much with my daughter, but I know you'll take care of her. Now you two go get something nice because I plan on coming down Thursday to watch the game. Understood?"
"Yes, sir." Jared said, reaching over me with a smile and shaking Charlie's hand.
"Thank you, dad." I reached out my window to give him as much of a hug as I could.
"Drive safe, now." Charlie told us before we pulled off, heading down the road.
I looked back down at the money in the envelope and then looked up at Jared with a smile. "Charlie loves you."
"He might not be supernatural in any way, but I think everyone can feel our bond in some way or form, they just don't know what it is. It's probably why he trusts me so much already." Jared replied to me, and I couldn't help but agree.
The rest of the ride was spent just talking about all kinds of things and laughing a lot. It was so refreshing. I knew a lot of the things in our life were very serious, but to just be able to laugh and joke was so nice.
Once we got up to Port Angeles, we made our way through several different stores, buying a tv, an xbox and games, some decorations, a new kitchen table with extra chairs, and some extra seating for the living room that would be delivered. It should have been enough that we would be able to house and feed all of the pack without any issues.
When we came out of the last store, to my surprise, Paul was actually waiting for us by the truck.
"What's up, bro?" Jared asked him, clearly worried about why he was phased out.
"She followed the truck up here, but we chased her off before she hit the city limits. She ran east towards Seattle this time. Sam is at the edge of our territory, waiting to see if she's going to double back. I just needed to check in." Paul told us.
I could sense that he was really checking on me, needing visual confirmation, so I quickly reached forward and hugged him tightly, letting him scent me.
He was quickly catching on that I was a hugger and I think he was really actually liking my hugs, not that he would ever admit that.
I pulled away and he started walking back toward the woods, pointing at me with a smile. "Thank you for that, B. Just what I needed!"
I smiled brightly as he ran back into the woods.
"Damn, babe, you're turning Paul into a hugger. Never thought I'd see the day!" Jared laughed as we put the things in the truck.
"You always need to be touching me. He imprinted on me too. Just because it's not romantic doesn't mean he doesn't necessarily need some of the same things." I replied to him, knowing that it was the truth.
"Oh I agree wholeheartedly. I know he needs it, I just didn't think you'd soften him up so quickly." Jared laughed.
We climbed in and started heading back to the house.
A/N- I am so sorry it's been taking me so long in between updates. I've had a lot of health issues going on and have also been going through a (medication-induced) writer's block. I'm starting to come out of it, so maybe I'll be able to write more. I wanted to thank all of my loyal readers who have been with me through all of my long breaks and still come back for more. You motivate me more than anything and just knowing that I have your support helps my mental well-being so much, even when my physical health is not doing well. Please feel free to message me if you want.
