Hey Yo! NerdRyuu here, For the penultimate chapter of The Last Loud!

Last chapter Link sacrificed his generator for a last strong punch! Was it enough to defeat Blight for good? Let's see!

Link's arm was hurting a lot. His right arm was almost completely covered by second and third degree burns. Under his helmet, he didn't held back tears as he felt his legs becoming wobbly.

The boy fell back, but fortunately, he fell right in the arm of his friend Tower. The boy looked up and saw the calming smile of his.

"Tower…" Link muttered. He felt a hand in his shoulder. It was Maria, smiling proudly.

"You did Link. We thought you would need help but in the end, you managed to do it!" Maria spoke.

"You did!" Haru shouted up, being held up by her sister.

"You really impressed everyone!" Himiko completed.

"THATWASAWESOMELINK!YOUSHOTUPLIKEPIUM!THENBLAM!THENYOUWENTPTIUPTIUANDTHENYOUDISSAPEAREDANDREAPEREDBEHINDHIMANDWASLIKETAKEITALL!!!ITWASAWESOME" Cassie said excited, she spoke so fast that it made difficult to the others to understand her.

"We… we all did." Link spoke, looking around at his friends. "Where's… Lana?"

"Who? Oh, Loud? She went get something to help you defeat Blight, but she still didn't returned." Maria explained, looking at the machine. Link sighed.

"I am glad that this is over… I thin-" Link got interrupted when a loud, monstrous groan echoed From Blight's mouth.

He was still alive. Not only alive. He was awake. The six alive there felt a chill going down their spines. It didn't had ended.

"Oh, come on!" Cassie spoke up. "Why can't this guy just die already?"

"I'll… I'll kill. Every. Single. One. Of. You." He spoke, slowly raising up again. He held his chest. His flesh has been vaporized by Link's punch, carbonizing his entire chest and even parts of his upper arms. He didn't bled though, the heat generated by the punch had cauterized the entire area. "And… Now… that your strongest asset is no more…" He made a laugh that sounded more like a screech of two guitar chords. "In the end, was useless against… God!"

Blight charged on the direction of Tower, Link and Maria. The big man put the small one in his shoulder and they jumped out the way before they were hit by a strong swing.

"Without your little ace on your pocket, there's no way to defeat me!" He spoke, swinging his huge arm on Tower, who barely dodged by ducking in the last moment.

"It's there where you're wrong!" Maria spoke, as she ran round the plaza, shooting her pistols on Blight to distract him. "Link's efforts weren't in vain!" Blight had turned around to look at her, just to be surprised by a shot by Himiko's rifle, right in his exposed left lung. Although injured, she still had both arms and eyes good to utilize her rifle.

"He quite literally opened you up!" Maria completed her thought, still running away from Blight's advances, shooting him in his exposed ribs.

In the inside he was way less resistant as the simple bullets of Maria's semi automatic pistols were able to crack the ribs and even penetrate into his behind them. But Blight was still a hulking monstrosity, he persevered against the shots and pain, chasing Maria, while also ignoring the other Himiko's shots.

As Blight had caught up with Maria and was about to punch her down on the ground, he felt his arm being pulled back. It was Tower, holding him by the wrists.

Blight forced his back away, but Tower was using all his strength to hold his arm. Finally Blight was looking Tower in the eyes. The monstrosity had recognized the man before him. Nine years ago he was one of his slaves in his former Paradise.

How dared a man like him, a mere slave, to stand up against God? He was disgusted.

But even with his thoughts about the man, Blight wasn't able to release his arm, he tried to swing it around, but only made Tower slide across the ground, still with a tight grip on his wrist.

Growing impatient, Blight raised his other fist to punch Tower's head clean off. Just to feel a sharp pain on his other wrist. He looked and it was Cassie.

She had Haru's katana in her both hands, even with her right shoulder torturing her due being out of place. She was impaling the sword across Blight's wrist, holding up the katana.

Blight shouted in pain again and shook his arm, to make her get away, but Cassie also had a tight grip on the hilt, and was shook up and down.

Cassie felt a crack in her shoulder, accompanied by a strong pain. The swinging had put her shoulder back in place. It was painful, but was good.

She used the swinging to twist his arm around, pointing the edge of the sword down and with a slam, made by Blight himself, the Kanata was stuck in the ground, pinning Blight's arm on the ground.

In his current position, Blight had one arm being forced back in one direction, his other was pinned on the ground by a sword, making him have to be on his knee, and his chest was bright exposed.

"IT'S THE END BLIGHT!" Lana shouted, appearing by surprise, due all the attention being on Blight. She ran at full speed on Blight's direction, with the stick of explosives she had brought to the battle to destroy the machine, but had lost it.

She used all her strength and momentum as she rapidly approached Blight, to stuck the explosive right between two of his ribs and drive them further into his body. Blight screamed in pain as the stick of explosives being driven into his body were forcing his ribs apart and the organs were parting their way to accommodate the intruding body.

"You… Shall… never defeat… GOD!" Blight spoke, looking straight to where Lana's eyes would be behind her helmet.

"This… Is for my family." She spoke. Running away. "NOW!" She shouted, as Tower released Blight's arm and also ran away from him, and Cassie jumped off his arm and ran.

Before Blight could do anything, Lana pressed the button on the trigger she had with her.

Blight's body exploded along with the powerful explosives. Tower, Cassie and Lana were blown away by the sonic boom.

Moments passed with confusion of the gang. The explosion had blown dust in the entire plaza.

Cassie slowly got up, coffing. "Is… cof Everyone all right?" She heard groans as response as the dust started to get down. And she looked at the aftermath of the explosion.

Yeah, Blight was reduced to pieces and a big green pool of blood. She was able to recognize some of the parts around, like his arm, still with Haru's Katana sticking through it. And his head.

It was just part of it. It lacked the jaw and part of the side, missing an eye.

"Well… He's dead." She spoke.

"Finally." She heard Lana walking up to her from behind. She turned to looked at her. "My family can rest now."

"Yeah, I am happy for you, Lana!" Cassie spoke her name with emphasis, cheekily. Lana laughed.

"Yeah. That's my name." She spoke looking the young girl. "I though I would never use that name again."

"Oh Lana… I'm sorry for your family." Cassie spoke. Lana sighed.

"My family is in peace. They wanted me to live my life. Now that I have you. And them…" They looked at the others. Maria was tending to Link's arm, while Tower helped Haru to stand up with just one of her prosthetic legs. Himiko was sitting having grabbed her twin's Katana, looking at her. "I can."

"I finally can."

N/A: Finally! Finally Blight is dead for good! The fight was long and Blight took a lot of beating, but to kill him for good, exploding him made the job, being a team work this time!

Next chapter (the last chapter) will serve as wrap up for the characters and as a epilogue, hope you still be here for the it!
