Foreshadowing Problems

To answer some possible problems with Arthur/Arturia it should be self implied with the character names.

Second the Artoria in my story will be a mix of Saber Lily and Caster Arturia from Fate Grand Order.

Third I've read your reviews and have decided that until Jaune finds out Arturia is a girl he will call him Arthur.

For reference Arthur will be spelled like this Arthur. And Arthur is mentioned Arthur will be spelled like this He,His,Him,Sir,and Boy.

I would like to also thank you all for reading this story.

Now onto the story.

Feast of Pentecost

Jaune P.O.V

'I don't know what is happening right now' was the thought that ran through my mind listening to the ramble that these people were.

"My King I believe that we should focus on the coming winter."

"My King the Pics in the north are being ever aggressive towards our northern territory."

"My Liege what are your orders for the troops?"

Those were what was being told and asked from these people before a hand clapped and a gust of wind pulled them away from me.

"Now now the King has just pulled the sword and will need to know of what has become of the land." A playful voice called out.

"Sir Merlin as the previous Court Mage to the former King you must know that we are all supportive to the King." A voice called out from the crowd of Nobles "As such we must be certain that the new King will bring Briton back to it's rightful state." They said earning murmurs of agreements.

"While that is indeed true Lord Cornwall he is still young and has time to find his footing." Merlin said while walking to us with Arthur following them from behind.

"Let us all enjoy the feast and discuss what the King will do tomorrow." Merlin said holding up a drink as the gathered Lords cheered.

3rd P.O.V

As the Nobles went about with their own discussions Merlin and Arthur sat with Jaune who was happy with somewhat familiar presence.

"Thank you for that." He said before Merlin Chuckled "No need your Majesty As the former Court Mage it was my duty to help train a new Court Mage for your time as King." Merlin said with a grin.

""What?/Merlin!"" The two said before Arthur lightly stomped his foot into Merlin's toes.

Making a strained smile Merlin laughed before bending over slightly to whisper in Jaune's ear "Meet with us in the kitchen soon." They said before jesturing Arthur to follow.

Confused Jaune told the Nobles that he wished to walk around to help his stomach settle. After telling them his excuse Jaune made his way to the kitchen.

Merlin P.O.V

Whilst I waited for the new King to arrive Arthur was trying to hit me with a pan.

"Merlin what were you thinking!" Arthur said as he was panicking.

"Arturia I was only trying to make it so that you may appear as his most trusted confidant for future private moments." I said with a small grin watching my adoptive daughter struggling with what to do.

Sighing to myself I wondered what will become of the future now that Arturia is not the one to pull out Caliburn. 'I don't know much about our new King..' I thought while remembering his expressions from pulling Caliburn to the nervous look he had while dealing with the Nobles. 'But I believe that he is a kind hearted boy that wouldn't want people to suffer if he could help.' I thought before looking to my ward.

'Arturia was nervous on our journey to Caliburn thinking that she would have to throw away her emotions to be seen as a perfect King to the people.' I thought while remembering times when Arturia was young and would go out from our home to pick flower's before showing them to me and say "This is the garden of Avalon!" before throwing them into the air as the wind would blow the petals away.

'Though I'm happy she doesn't have to throw away not only her humanity but also her emotions.' I thought as I saw her look at me with a tilted head.

'I worry what will happen now that our time-line has diverged from the proper time-line.' I thought before hearing the door open and heard footsteps walking in.

3rd P.O.V

As Jaune walked inside the kitchen he saw Merlin with a worried face while Arthur turned to look at him.

"My King Merlin and I were talking about my role as your Court Mage." Arthur said while smiling at him with a nervous grin.

Looking at Arthur closely Jaune saw a flash of his old partner in his eyes.

Pictures of Pyrrha flashed through his mind with her helping him during Initiation. Slowly blinking Jaune saw that Merlin was nodding his head before stepping forward.

"My King I think that journeying throughout Briton to see your subjects and their problems will help your image as a kind hearted man that understands his peoples struggles." Merlin said before looking at Arthur with a grin.

'That grin reminds me of time's when my sisters' would have me do the dumbest things for their amusement.' He thought as Merlin turned towards Jaune with a smile.

"And Arthur will journey alongside you so that the people will know the King has a confidant." Merlin said with a grin as Arthur yelled out in shock.

"Merlin I am still only a Novice Mage!" Arthur said as he looked nervous.

"Nonsense Arthur, your of age to do as you please as an adult." Merlin said before grinning "Besides was it not you who said that you wished to travel Briton to help it's people." Merlin said crossing their arm's.

Looking closely to Merlin's figure Jaune could have sworn he had seen a decently size curve for a split second.

"Y-Yes I did but that was-" He began before Merlin smiled at Arthur before looking at Jaune "I trust you to look after my ward My King." Merlin said while Arthur tried to think of how to counter any of Merlin's words.

"Please don't call me a King." Jaune said drawing their attention.

"Why not?" Arthur asked tilting his head.

"I don't feel like I'm deserving to be King." He said with doubt as he messes with his hair.

"My whole life I dreamed to be a hero and help people like my ancestors." He said before leaning against a wall.

"I tried to train but I was very far behind my due to my health." Jaune said as Arthur looked at him with interest " Later in my late teenage years I ran away from my home to pursue that dream and dove head first into self destruction trying to kill the person who killed my partner before ended up here." He jesturing around him befote looking down to his feet.

Saying nothing Merlin and Arthur saw a look of saddness in his eye's. Slowly walking over to him Arthur placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I understand that to pursue ones dream it will eventually become nightmares that you wish to have never happened." Arthur said as Jaune looked into his eye's.

"But it is the duty of those who willing plunge themselves to ensure a better future for our people." He said with a smile on his face.

Clapping Merlin drew their attention to them "Your Majesty while I do not know of your history I have absolute confidence that you are the man that will bring peace back to Briton." They said with a small smile.

Looking closer to Merlin's face Jaune saw that they had pink eyes and a feminine face for a split second.

"Anyway you should rest and prepare for tomorrow my King." Merlin said with a grin before leaving with Arthur following behind.

Remembering he hadn't told them his name he told them to wait a moment. Turning to him Jaune gave them a smile "Please call me Jaune when we are alone and not King." He said rubbing his head "I still don't know if I can lead the people, but I'll try my best to make sure that with your help I can provide a peaceful life for them." He said thinking back to his time with team JNPR before Beacon Academy fell and his travels with team RNJR to reach Haven Academy.

Unaware Jaune didn't notice Arthur's face turn pink while Merlin's eye's glowed bright pink before dieing down.

"Well I believe that it's best we all get rest, so have a good night Jaune." Merlin said before dragging Arthur alongside.

Nodding Jaune left the kitchen before remembering that he had promised to talk with a knight who claimed to be a family friend of Arthur alongside his son.

'Well I don't think that it'll be a problem if I meet with Sir Hector and Sir Kay.' He thought before going over to the two knights who had been waiting for him.

A/N: You saw in the summary that I'm inconsistent with my updates so please enjoy this chapter while I work on more Chapters.
