From Huntsmen to Heathen 2

After a lukewarm reception from the demi-demons, and a new say situation offer from Beeqok, the members of team RWBY and JNPR were forced to take a long road across the lands of Hell, with whatever weapons and items they can scavenge.
Driving side by side on the open road, with Jaune driving in a family sedan with no windows with it having mismatched colors around it's metal body, he was signaled by Yang, who was driving a Harley she procured with Blake riding bitch, to pull over.
Complying, Jaune began to slow down as he exited the vehicle with Weiss and Ruby exiting the vehicle and dragging not so far from them was Ren as he was driving a pickup with Nora and Pyrrha that was in the same scavenged state as Jaune's vehicle.
"Everything kosher" asked Jaune, "Not really, just realized a few things since we've been forced to take this stupid road trip" said Yang.
"Like what" asked Ruby, "For starters, we've been driving for a few hours now and the sun hasn't really set" said Blake.
"Now that you mention it" said Jaune as he hate to deal with what many would call seasonal affective disorder, but you know with sunlight being the bitch.
"More so, is anyone feeling hungry, cause I could really go for a bite" added Nora as her stomach rumbled.
"Great, here we are literally damned to walk the roads of Hell, and we still got to deal with stuff like food, hydration, and possible need for sleep" said Weiss.
"It could be a lot worst guys, I mean, you heard what Beeqok said" reminded Pyrrha, "Honestly I don't think we should really be taking in the words of Devils out of all beings, you know" said Ren.
"Honestly, I wonder if it's worth it to you know prolong our suffering" said Weiss, "Don't say that, we've got a reason to take this journey, even if it get's tough" said Ruby.
"I don't know Rubes, we could be entering some trouble if we don't start managing our resources" said Yang as her Harley was running out of fuel.
"Well what do you guys want to do, cause there's not much we're gonna get out by driving the opposite way, at least what's what I think" said Ruby.
"I mean, we can keep driving, and dealing with hardships once they hit, but I'd rather we'd all be better prepared" said Jaune, "You make it sound like we don't have a choice" said Yang.
"Beeqok did say we still had dues to pay" sighed Blake as the group of friend decided to end their conversation there and continued to drive on across the lands of Truxasko, where the only thing they learned was that this place was covered in miles of hot lands, the occasional demi-demon attack, and of course the only music available on this station was mainly heavy rock and emo music.
Eventually the group saw a strange little land mark with a big wooden sign that read 'Welcome teams RWBY and JNPR' in red paint.
Pulling to the side of the road where the sign was stationed at, they approached an impromptu lemonade stand, except there was no lemonade, rather it had some useful supplies to the group of friend.
"You think this could be from Beeqok or the other Devils he mentioned" asked Jaune, "I would've think it was trap left by those demi-demons" said Yang.
"I think we can cross that out considering how they weren't the talkative type and if so, they don't seem to say anything tangible" said Weiss, as they all stood there looking at the stand for a minute, before Ruby stepped forward.
"Ruby, hold on, it could still be a trap" said Yang, "Or it could be someone trying to help us out, and I like to believe someone is" said Ruby as she walked up to the stand where lain across the table was a few mounds of snacks, a disposable debit card with a set amount of funds, and a little picture book that read 'Road Trip Survival Guide'.
"Does anyone want this bag of Salt and Vinegar chips" asked Ruby as she lifted the bag up, "Dibs!" shouted Jaune as Ruby tossed the bag to him.
"What other snacks do you got" asked Nora, "A pre wrap turkey sandwich" said Ruby as Nora came by her side as everyone soon followed suite.
Upon further examining, under the stand was 2 cases of gasoline for the group to refuel their vehicles, and about 5 gallons of water to split in 1 gallon containers.
"I wonder though why they'd leave us all a debit card of all things" asked Blake as Weiss plucked it from her hands, "Whatever the reason, I'll hold onto it" said Weiss as she pocketed it away.
"The bigger question if why is our little survival guide in a picture book format" asked Ren, "I think they might be patronizing us at this point" said Yang.
"Well let's give it a read" said Ruby as she opened the little booklet.
"Greetings fellow wanderers, and good luck on your travels across the 4 lands of Hell, 5 if you decide to set foot in the recently annexed Movadja. This booklet should help you guys on all the things you should know on your travels, cause a smart traveler, is not only a prepared traveler, but a safe traveler too" read Ruby, "Completely patronizing us" said Yang.
"First off, you'll start by setting foot in Truxasko, a starting point to many sinners across the universe, the land is hot and barren for the most part, with only a few places worth visiting, plus it's curse as being the lands that the sun never sets" read Ruby.
"Blake your assumption was right about how the sun doesn't go down" said Ruby, "Well that's just peachy" commented Blake.
"With that being said, there are ways for you and your friends to get a proper rest cycle without the sun disturbing you, like hotels, or even hollowed out caves made by unnatural rock formations, along with places to eat, and refuel, but you're going to need Hell Kaps, the currency used as you might have guessed, Hell" read Ruby.
"That explains the debit card, though I don't think we might get much use out of it" said Weiss as she lifted the debit card, "They must be teasing us then" sighed Nora as Ruby flipped the page over.
"Don't worry about being assaulted when conducting business, as all denizens of Hell are all bound to follow basic business and ethic codes when you guys can shop in peace, with that being said once they all clock out for break time the gloves are so always be prepared" read Ruby.
"I guess that's reassuring" said Jaune, "I mean we're just gonna have to take their word for it whoever it is that left us these goods and booklet" said Pyrrha as that was the last page Ruby read as she was curious to find who left them this.
"Written and illustrated by Art Legend, the First Hero of Hell. Hero of Hell, what does that mean" asked Ruby.
"No idea, though something tells me if he was a Hero from Hell, he's probably done a lot of bad things to earn that title" said Blake, "I would agree with you" said Ren.
"Though this does leave the question, why would the Hero of Hell go through all this trouble of leaving us all of this" asked Jaune, "More so, you think Beeqok would have mentioned him or her, or whoever" said Ruby.
"Maybe he has his reason, also I'm pretty sure Art is a male given name" said Weiss, "Not true, there was an old legend back in remnant of a female king named Art and her transgendered son Mordecai who left their kingdom and title behind to be with a wondering archer like huntsmen named Shirou" said Blake.
"And funny enough I actually did had a girl cousin named Artem, whom me and my sisters use to call Art" said Jaune.
"We can discuss whoever this Art Legend is later, point of the matter is that there's someone else watching us, and I don't like it" said Weiss, "Like it or not, they did save and reassure us, so deal with it" said Yang.
"We can talk more about this later, we've got a long journey ahead of us" said Jaune as everyone began to refuel in every sense of the word before finally putting some distance behind them.
Time Skip
Trying to put some distance between them, the group of friends kept their eyes peeled for anything that may provide either service or shelter and test their luck on the words of wisdom imprinted to them by the Hero of Hell.
Instead the group saw a small barricade in the middle of the road, by who else but demi-demons as they used their vehicles for cover, witch all of them taunting them for a fight.
"Evasive action!" shouted Jaune as one of the demi-demons threw a Molotov at Jaune's vehicle as he came to a screeching halt, before he and his party scurried to get out the vehicle.
Seeing this fueled Yang's desire for retaliation as she sped forward with Blake clinging onto her, before she began to skid slam her Harley into a demi-demon as they laid under the bike.
Getting up to her feet, Yang acted quickly as she used her revolver to shoot the same demi-demon preparing to throw another Molotov at her, as she shot the bottle and left the demi-demon screeching ablaze.
Back with Jaune, he was just about done patting himself when he had some small flames caught onto his sweater.
"Man, this sweater is my favorite" jeered Jaune, "It could be worse, now get ready to fight" said Ruby as she lifted her shotgun up and blasted a demi-demons head off as they were attempting to get a jump on them.
Getting back on his feet, Jaune began to charge in to help Blake and Yang, but was pulled back by Weiss, when coming from behind was Nora deciding to break through the barrier and scattering the demi-demons.
Kicking the doors open, Nora wasted no time as she used her bat to be beat down on a demi-demon as Ren delt with one trying to come at him with a 50's tire iron covered in scotch tape and broken glass.
Sliding under their legs, Ren hopped back on his feet as he used his body weight to push the demi-demon forward into Pyrrha as she smashed her piece of iron into their face.
Meanwhile Weiss and Jaune got onto their feet together as she had saved him from getting hit by a stray bullet.
"This feels like DeJa'Vu all over again don't it" jeered Jaune, "Lucky for you, we've got your back" said Pyrrha as she lifted road flair from her back pocket and tossed it to Weiss.
Having set aside enough gas to make her own Molotov's, Weiss lit the flair and proceeded to lob one over at the demi-demon that was shooting at them earlier.
Getting out from their hiding spot, Jaune and Pyrrha rushed the demi-demon with Pyrrha tossing her pipe over and knocking the firearm out of the demi-demon's hand, before Jaune tackled them down and proceeded to stab them to death.
Standing her ground Ruby shot down the last demi-demon as the group of friends were in the clear for now.
"All right guys, we survived once more, so let's take a minute to scavenge anything of use or value before heading out" said Ruby as everyone cheered in agreement.
"Jaune, you think we'll be able to drive our little sedan" asked Ren, "I don't see any real damage that shouldn't say don't drive this vehicle before, so let's see" said Jaune as he entered the vehicle and attempted to start it up, with success.
"Yeah, I think we'll be fine" said Jaune, "Don't you think it be better if we hitched a ride on one of these other vehicles we smashed through" suggested Pyrrha.
"Problem comes down the fact we invested most of our gas in these vehicles so without a syphon, I don't think we should part with them just yet" said Weiss.
"I mean we don't need a syphon, we could use a rubber hose" said Yang, "Doesn't matter what we use, we just don't have any of those things on our bodies at the moment" said Blake.
Begrudgingly taking on the already danger on wheels vehicle, the group continued along with their road trip journey as we focus on Jaune, Ruby, and Weiss.
"So anything of value" asked Jaune, "Not really just more of the same crappy guns, and small bits of ammo, but I think I might actually got my hands on what the Hell Kap currency looks like" said Ruby as she lifted a single red metal coin with the number 5 on one side, and the words Hell Kap on the other.
"Huh, how very peculiar" said Weiss as she examined the little coin as the group continued to drive in silence, while listening to punk music, which was alright for half the group members.
Time Skip
With the hot sun stressing them out, and hunger was a constant reminder, the group of friends had kept their eyes peeled for anything to provide them comfort, be it a diner, or a hotel, or anything at this point.
"Hey guys look, I spot a gas station" said Ren, "Please pull over, I could really stretch my legs and do good with some coffee or energy drinks" said Pyrrha.
Without needing to signaling their friends, everyone pulled over to the gas station as they all got out and stretch their legs.
"How you guys doing" asked Pyrrha, "Tired, hungry, and definitely feeling cranky" said Yang, "Same could be said about all of us, so let's try to make the most out of our stop here at this gas station" said Jaune.
"Let just hope this Hero of Hell is giving us solid advice and not forcing us into some kind of trap" said Blake, "Maybe we should go in as a small group then, and check things out" said Pyrrha.
"I'm willing to go in, anyone else" asked Ruby, "I'm with you" said Nora as the duo entered the gas station to see it was stocked with things you would expect from any gas station.
"Welcome, what can I get you 2 today" greeted the attendant at the counter.
"Oh, um hi we just pulled aside and were hoping to buy some snacks, gas, and maybe get some directions" asked Ruby.
"Where are you heading to" asked the attendant, "We're trying to make it to Vey Aria, if that makes any sense" said Ruby.
"Well you're on the right road for sure, though here's some free advice when I say your trip or journey isn't going to be an easy one" said the attendant.
"Yeah, Beeqok said something like that before he sent us on our journey" said Ruby, "One of the 7 Devils of Satan? Should've guessed when I see a pair of humans entering my store, granted there's a lot more of you compared to the last time" said the attendant.
"Hold on, are you saying there have been humans, and I mean human human's, have came and traveled Hell before" asked Ruby.
"It be close to 1000 years since I've had my last human customer, though at the time I didn't think much, which in hindsight I should've inquired more on the man considering he'd be the second Hero of Hell" said the attendant.
"So wait you mean there are more Hero's of Hell" asked Ruby, "No there's only ever been 2 in recorded Hell history, one being blessed and testing his might with the former Satan's youngest daughter, and then the traveling I mentioned to you" said the attendant.
"Now I think I've answered enough questions, you kids plan on buying or what" asked the attendant.
Seeing as they were in no risk of being in danger, Ruby stepped out and waved everyone to come inside and buy whatever they want.
Not holding back, be it on the gas station hotdogs, snack cakes, and energy drinks, the group was still sensible enough to buy them things like water, some spare fuel, and of course a map.
Stepping out of the gas station with their goods at hand, everyone was ready to enjoy a semi more pleasant and refueled drive, but that would be set aside, when they saw some fast company driving towards them.
"Let's try to retreat back and hope they ignore us" said Jaune, "Or at the least until I finish scarfing down my burrito" said Yang as they all turned tail, but found that the doors was locked.
"Hey, let us back in!" said Yang as she tried shaking the doors open, "This is a gas station, not a sanctuary. Besides, I'm on my scheduled 15 minute break right now" the attendant said with a shit eating smile as he knew that was enough time for his fellow demi-demons to potentially kill them.
"You best swear that those asshole cousins of yours kill us, cause otherwise you're next" threatened Yang, "Yang, focus on what's really important right now" chided Blake as she pulled her back as they'll be brawling within the minute.
"Let's just load up our goods now and arm up, and then we can recharge" said Ruby, "Or better yet" said Weiss as she ran to a gas pump and proceeded to spray some petrol on the roads, before she tossed her lighter, creating a huge wall of fire.
While only taking out 2 of the vehicles in the fire, and one swerving off and crashing to their deaths, the last 2 drivers skidded to a halt, which gave the group enough time to load back in their vehicles and continued on their journey to Kalliphonreeah as they rejoice for a quick escape.
"Nice thinking there Weiss, couldn't have thought up a better diversion myself" said Jaune, "Thank you" Weiss said curtly as Ruby was reading the map they bought.
"So Ruby, any worthwhile destinations worth keeping our eyes open for" asked Jaune, "Well we got 2 options, either a shopping mall or a roadside fashion museum from the 1920's" said Ruby as the answer was pretty obvious as it looks like they can enjoy their youth and live like a teenagers just another minute longer.
Here we go people, another chapter down, and another chapter shall come shortly after sometime by next week, so be ready for that.
