Ace wakes up early and heads to the living room knowing she should call Tegan, but thinking against it in case she and Nyssa were busy talking. She is relaxing on the couch with her morning cup of coffee when there is a knock on the door. Knowing it's Graham she gets up and opens the door. "Good morning Graham."

"Good morning Ace," Ace steps aside to let Graham in, he gives her a small kiss as he walks past with some breakfast in his hands for the three of them. "Kitchen?"

"Yep." They head to the kitchen, Graham puts the breakfast on the table and walks over to Ace who is getting plates down.

"Ace."

"Yes," she turns to face him, he takes the plates from her and sets them down behind her and takes both of her hands in each of his and lays them beside her and leans in for a kiss. Tongues meet and smiles broaden.

Adric walks in and remembers when he saw his parents like that growing up. "Morning you two."

Ace and Graham break and let go of one hand each and move to stand side by side still holding hands. "Morning Adric." Ace says.

"Morning you two."

"Good morning Adric."

"It must be one for you, considering what you and Ace were just doing," Adric sees if he can joke with them.

"We are like this many mornings, just make sure to get it out before we leave, though when he is at A Charitable Earth," Ace leans into Graham laughing.

"Ok, umm, do you know when I can see my mum and sister?"

"Eat some breakfast first, and I will call Tegan." She rubs Graham's arm after she lets go of his hand and goes to get her phone.

"You need to eat too Ace," Graham shouts at her retreating back.

"I know," she says as she comes back in with her phone. Putting her phone in her pocket she grabs a plate and some breakfast as the three start to eat. "Adric, what has your Mum told you about Earth?"

"Only that she visited a few different times as in years and the first person she loved was from here."

"Are you ok with your Mum possibly getting into a relationship with Tegan?"

"I am, Graham told me last night that Tegan was a good person."

"He is right. Tegan is one of my best friends." Ace looks at Graham and smiles at him, "you haven't spent much time with her."

"I know the kind of people the Doc picks to travel with them. The Doc had her travel with them twice, also I know you are amazing and would only let amazing people close to you as Tegan is." They share a smile and Ace's phone rings.

"Nyssa is wanting to see her son, so we're on our way over. Is that ok?"

"More than ok, should I introduce them to K9."

"You can."

"You love that dog."

"It was a gift from the Doctor."

"I know, you recently met a younger, well older than our versions, but younger than the one we just met."

"The fact I had to keep the secret of our meeting and who I was seeing from the first person that cared about me."

"You wanted to tell the Doctor who you were dating but not me?"

"You saw us all the time and still do, the Doctor there was no way to know he would keep popping up when Graham and I were trying to get to know each other in the most intimate way."

"I hope my idiot one doesn't do that."

"We definitely need to have one of our girl talks now."

"We do, but that can wait until everyone is settled."

"Settled."

"Dorothy."

"Ok, I will stop."

"Good, we will be arriving in about 10 minutes."

"That means you left your place about 15 minutes ago."

"We tried calling you when we left, what were you doing?"

"My phone was in the other room."

"What other room?"

"The living room, Graham brought breakfast over for us, and we were getting plates down."

The garbled voice of Adric is heard by Tegan and everyone in her car as is using the bluetooth. "Don't forget sharing a rather thorough kiss with Graham."

"You can't just keep your lips off him can't you," asks Nyssa who feels the type of relationship the woman who captured her heart all those years ago while traveling in the TARDIS and sharing a room with her.

"Morning Nyssa, I am glad you feel welcome enough to join our banter. Tegan has told me all about your adventures. I was hoping to meet you one day."

"Thank you Ace." They hang up after quick see you soons.

"Your family is fitting in right away," Ace smiles at Adric.

"I am glad, I just wonder where we all are going to work."

"Kate wants people who traveled with the Professor to work with UNIT; I am sure you and Neeka will be welcome to work there too. If not, I can help you guys find a place to work." They go back to eating and when they are finished they head to the living room. Ace gets out more sitting for everyone and has Graham sit in the recliner as she sits on the arm. Adric sits on a kitchen chair. Tegan walks straight in with Nyssa and Neeka behind her. Nyssa is happy to see Adric fitting in.

"Good morning Adric, how did you sleep?"

"I slept fine Mum."

"I am glad," she kisses his forehead and moves to the couch and sits between her daughter and Tegan.

"How was your first night on earth Neeka," Ace asks the young woman.

"It was ok."

"Nyssa?"

"For being my first night in decades and needing earth as a sanctuary, fine."

"I'm glad. I know having you here will make Tegan happy."

"Just like having Graham at your side makes you happy," Tegan teases Ace.

"Good, you're happier than you have been in years."

"Though we both have been happy."

"We have, I love A Charitable Earth. It's my baby."

"I know."

"You don't have any kids Ace," Nyssa asks.

"Never found the right one, most I have dated and got serious with, once the questions from their family started about why I never talked to my mum and after a simple search was done, and I couldn't answer why I disappeared as a teenager. Those relationships ended."

"You disappeared?"

"More like kidnapped."

"What," all three who just met Ace react.

"It was a ploy because the Doctor did something years before we met; even before you and Tegan met your Doctor. Fenric, he used a time storm and got me to the future on an alien planet. After we were back on the TARDIS, the Doctor sat me down and told me everything that happened with Fenric. To make it up to me after calling me a social outcast and an emotional cripple, for the first and only time." Graham is rubbing her knee, he knows she doesn't like talking about all of that.

"Your Doctor was cruel," Nyssa says.

"At times yes, and at times he was the only one that showed me that he cared about myself and my education. He taught me more than all but one teacher."

"Who was this one teacher?"

"Honestly I have only one or two memories of this teacher. The few people I still talk to from school insist that she taught us for a few weeks and was the only teacher that I gladly listened to. She was with us right before I accidentally blew up my art classroom."

"You did what," Neeka asks.

"I was a bit of a rebel growing up."

"Nothing wrong with that. I had a bit of trouble with the law when I was a young lad," adds Graham.

"You two are really perfect for each other," Tegan says.

Graham looks at Ace and smiles, "I feel the same, Ace has become my light."

"Graham, you don't have to say that."

"I know I don't."

"Jesus you two are," Tegan starts to say.

"The same way I can see you and Nyssa being."

"When that day comes, Adric, should we find a hiding place?"

"We should," everyone gets back to sharing some small talk until Tegan announces she will be taking the family out for the day
