Ace and Graham move over to the couch as they relax against the other. "So we're alone," Ace says as she looks into Graham's eyes.
"That we are," they look in each other's eyes and heads move closer to each other and their lips meet in a kiss that quickly turns passionate. As both pairs of hands start to wonder and touch bare skin. They are too lost in each other as there is a glitch sound.
"Can you two ever keep your hands to yourself?"
Ace detaches herself from Graham shirt askew, "really Doctor, just please leave us alone. I want to get to know Graham in the most intimate way possible. I can't do that with you popping up everytime Graham and I get close to it."
"You must be thinking of me."
Ace's voice lowers, "I can assure that the only person on my mind when this happens is my partner, who is Graham. The man I love and have been dating for months."
"I don't know why then."
"You pop up for Tegan when she insults you, Yaz when she thinks of you; and me, when I am trying to be with Graham. What does the last one have in common with the others?"
"Nothing."
"Exactly, you just don't like the fact that I am changing, you said it is a joy to watch your children fly."
"I want you to have everything life has to offer."
"Then let me, I love Graham, I want to be with him."
"You are with me Ace."
"I know Graham." Ace smiles at him.
"Ace, is there any way I can have a conversation with Graham?"
"I don't know that will work, since every time Graham and and try to become one, you pop up."
"Fine, next time I pop up for Tegan or Yaz."
In unison Ace and Graham scream, "not Yaz."
"Why not Yaz?"
"Because Doc," Graham gets up from his spot and moves closer to the Doctor, "each time you show up you break her heart again, I will not have you doing that to her."
"You will have to not go only through Graham, but Tegan, Martha, maybe even Nyssa once she gets to know Yaz more and I. You really want to mess with all of us," Ace also gets closer to the Doctor."
"Fine, fine, I will go to Tegan."
"Just don't interrupt her time with Nyssa like you do to Graham and I."
"I will try," 7 makes a face since he has known Tegan and Nyssa since they were really young.
"You need to realize both have been married, Professor."
"I know."
"Good, now leave, disappear, I want some alone time with Graham."
"No time with me?"
"Professor, I spent a lot of time with you every day for years, where you taught me it is ok to have emotions, now let me be emotional with the man I love."
"Fine fine," the Doctor disappears as Ace leans into Graham.
"Emotional with me?"
"Can I?"
"You can be anything you want with me."
"I know. No one has seen how I am when at A Charitable Earth."
"You mean sexy boss woman, though you are always sexy in my eyes."
"Graham," Ace slightly laughs.
"All jokes aside, what did you want to talk to me about?"
"I guess my last partner."
"What happened to them?" Ace looks at Graham happy he didn't assume it was a guy, cause it wasn't.
"Let's sit," they move to the couch, "her name was Alana, we met while I was hunting down some aliens."
"So she knew about your past?"
"Not really, she didn't believe when she saw them what they were." Graham raises an eyebrow, "I know it's surprising I fell for someone even after seeing an alien didn't believe it. Well that would be her downfall and lead to her death."
"Ace," he grabs her hand, "I have no words that can help."
"I know, you are one of the few that can fully understand, well what happened was she was following me one day, thinking I was cheating on her."
"You would never do that, you have too big of a heart and too loyal to do that."
"I know that," Ace smiles at Graham, "if I didn't have Kate's number, I would be dead too. Kate didn't know and still doesn't know that I knew the person killed by the Krynoids, weed like aliens. After Kate helped defeat them she took me to Jo Grant's house and Jo and her husband Cliff made a feast while their children and grandchildren all came over and distracted me. I was dating Alana for 4 years."
"I think Kate knew without you telling her. She made sure you were surrounded by a big family."
"Maybe, now you know I have lost more than one person, or a Cheetah person that I was interested in through death."
"You still haven't told me about Kara, was it?"
"Yeah, her name was Kara. When the Doctor took me to Perivale I found out that most of the people I hung out with growing up were missing. I did the Doctor nothing ever happened in Perivale," she sees him smiling. "Why are you smiling?"
"I may have said something similar to the Doc when we first met. Did I tell you about the first time encountering the alien that Grace died fighting?"
"No."
"Let's just say I almost acted on revenge."
"You did?"
"I wanted to kill Tim Shaw for his role in Grace's death."
"I am glad you didn't."
"Me too, I wouldn't have met you if I did."
"Then I am even more happy, now back to my story, after being chased by a Cheetah person I ended up on their planet. I did find my friends. By the end I had met the Master who had started to become one of them, so was I. Kara ended up saving my life and then being killed by the Master." Graham reaches to grab her hand. "You probably can guess why I haven't been in too many relationships."
"What I can promise you is that I will try my best to come home to you and call you if Kate ever decides to separate us for missions, I will call you on the way to and on the way back."
"Good, I am afraid of losing someone else."
"While I know I can't promise you something won't happen to me, but I can promise you I will try my best to make sure nothing happens to me. I won't do anything risky."
"Don't do anything different that you would do."
"If I get a chance to blow up things, I will."
Ace lightly laughs, "you do that."
"Anything to make you laugh."
"Thank you." He smiles at her and they spend the rest of the day just relaxing.
