As the Doctors and the Osgoods exit the room there are three people that enter the room. Graham sees that it seems that Ryan and Sonya are very close and the other person is Liam.
"Dorothy," he runs to her other side as Sonya goes to her sister. "Graham?"
"I have only left your sister's side when I was forced."
"It's fine, she told me she was removing my name and adding yours to make medical decisions."
"Hello, she is right here."
Graham looks back down at her and smiles lovingly at her, "who is supposed to be resting." Ace pouts her lips at that and Graham leans down and kisses her lightly.
"What was that for?"
"You just looked too cute not to kiss with your pouty lips Dear, you really should rest. Who knows what the Doctors and Osgood are doing."
"You worry?"
"Always," he smiles at Ace as Ryan stays standing behind Graham. "You have me on your list?"
"Hopefully you don't mind, I know if something were to happen you would be the fastest besides Tegan."
"What am I chopped liver?"
"You were mine until I changed it to Graham, Liam you know that."
"I do know that. Besides I see how much the man cares for you sis, it seems to have grown since I met him a few weeks ago."
"It has, it grows each day." Ace, watching the two guys she loves most in the world talking looks to Graham and sees the young man standing behind Graham. Graham notices Ace is looking behind him. "Ryan?"
"Hello Grandad, I got a call from Kate saying you might need support."
"Thank you for coming."
"You are my grandad, and I knew how you would feel about someone you love lying in a hospital especially with everything that you and Nan went through."
"Did Kate call you?"
"I was with Sonya, I knew I told you that I couldn't come home, but I didn't want the chance of Yaz knowing that I am getting to know her sister."
"Once she wakes up she will know."
"I know, but we have been talking about having all of you knowing about us, Yaz's parents know."
"Ok," Graham feels Ace moving her thumb, "I should be the one doing that."
"My hand is wet." Ace brings her other hand to Graham's face, "so is your face."
"I was afraid."
"I understand." Ace moves her hand from his face and closes her eyes as the three around her start to talk quietly. Graham never letting go of Ace's hand.
"You really love my sister?"
"I do, I didn't think I could get this lucky again." He watches as Ace's breathing evenings out again as she falls back asleep. The Doctors come rushing in, each going to a companion, the oldest Doctor and the Doctor wearing question marks help with Ace, while Martha and one of the Osgoods goes to Yaz and the of the Osgood and Kate goes to Tegan.
"Graham," says the one with the question marks, "can you three please let us have space."
"What is going on?"
"We figured out a way that they can keep the implants, but it will stop giving them pain and stop popping up when they don't call for us or in distress."
"How?"
"Ace did tell me how much it helped in the volcano, but it has been a nuisance since."
"We know," the Doctors grimace, "thank you for covering her up."
"What do you mean?"
"Each time one of us pops up now that we are actually the Doctor we know what is going on. We don't want to see any of you making out no less about to have sex." Graham blushes. "Now we need some space, everyone who isn't helping out doing what we found out needs to leave."
"But."
"Graham O'Brien, we know how much you love her, and you also care for Yaz and Tegan, we promise you she is safe in our hands." Graham narrows his eyes at them, " we know she has told you everything that happened when she traveled with us."
"She has."
"We did all of that to protect her from a greater evil."
"I know; doesn't mean I have to like it."
"Come on Graham," Nyssa takes his arm like she did earlier in the night and drags Graham out of the room. "For how long I worked getting a cure for Lazarus disease, I know when they need their space, there are 4 Doctors, 2 Osgoods and 1 Martha, they got it covered. There is no one I trust more on helping Tegan, her best friend and the person my daughter is falling for then the Doctor."
"I can't help it, I could do nothing when Grace died, and I am feeling like I am doing nothing again."
"You made a 2 hour drive in how short of time?"
"Half an Hour. As a former bus driver I knew what roads to take and can't remember a time I ever broke too many speeding laws."
"Grandad, you are doing a lot, I have a feeling you just being here is helping Ace."
"I hope," Graham just hit his head. I just realized that check out is in the morning, but all of our clothes are still in the dressers and the closet. I don't want to leave here though."
"Grandad, I will go get your clothes, Neeka, since Ace knows you, can you come with me?"
"I?"
"Sweetheart, we will keep you updated on Yaz, just think Ryan is like a brother to her and you can ask for stories about their travels and how she was in school." Nyssa gently tells her daughter, then whispers in her ear, "you may also might want to go in first so Ryan doesn't have to see evidence of anything he shouldn't see that his grandad has moved on."
"Ok, I will go with Ryan, I just should go in the room first."
"What?"
"She's right Ryan," Graham says as he hands over his room key and tells Ryan their room number.
