EZ pulled up in front of Bishop's house after getting the address from Vicki. Angel had locked himself up all night, accumulating the bottles of Cuervo, girls and was now passed out in one of the rooms over there.

He cracked his neck as he walked over to the front door and rang the doorbell.

Bishop opened the door in his jeans and dark grey button shirt and eyed him.

"EZ, what the fuck are you doing here?"

"Sorry jefe, we need to talk."

"Bishop?" he heard Isabella's voice call out to him.

"Look EZ, now's not a good time. We'll talk at the club. Now get out of here."

"Actually, it concerns both of you," replied EZ.

Bishop narrowed his eyes then fully opened the door. When EZ walked inside, Isabella was coming into the living room. She shot a glance at him then at Bishop. "What's going on?"

"It appears as though EZ needs to talk to us, Belita," said Bishop as he sat down in the sofa.

"Look, I know this is none of my business," said EZ uncomfortably.

"You're right, it isn't," replied Bishop.

Isabella looked at EZ and saw that he didn't want to be here.

"Right. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that Angel knows." He then looked at Isabella. "He followed you last night, hoping to convince you to get back together and well…" he paused for a second as he eyed Bishop, "…he saw you together."

Bishop sprung to his feet. "Where is that son of a bitch?!"

EZ watched in awe as Bella walked over to Bishop and gently put her hand on his shoulder, instantly calming him.

"Passed out at Vicki's," replied EZ. "I'm only here to give you a heads up. I don't know what he'll say or do when he gets to the club."

"This is our fault," said Isabella. "We should have told him sooner. I just thought that he'd finally put us out of the picture for good."

"I don't think it would have mattered, Belita. Whether it was two weeks ago or today, he was never going to take it well. I don't blame him. I'd have a hard time letting another man take my place in your life."

"We need to fix this before you get to the clubhouse," said Bella. "Let me go talk to him."

"You're not going alone," replied Bishop.

"OK."

Bishop turned to EZ. "Go to the clubhouse and make sure everyone keeps themselves occupied. I'll come over when this is handled."

EZ nodded and walked out.

Isabella followed Bishop inside Vicki's. Barely dressed woman and young girls were sitting around and even if she knew this kind of business existed everywhere in the world, it was different than to witness see it.

"Where is he?" Bishop asked Vicki.

"Second floor, third room on the left," she replied as she gathered up the empty glasses and beer bottles.

"Alone?"

"Yes."

He turned to Isabella. "Are you sure you want to go talk to him alone?"

She nodded. "If you're with me, things will escalate. I'm trying to keep the peace here, Bishop."

He caressed her face. "I know. I'll wait for you down here."

He watched silently as she walked up the stairs and then cracked his knuckles, trying to relieve the pressure in his fists.

"You want some coffee?" asked Vicki.

"No. I'm going to need something stronger than that to calm my nerves."

She pointed to a bottle of Cuervo and he nodded as he headed for one of the tables.

"I hope she's worth it," said Vicki as she placed the glass in front of him and poured the Cuervo.

"More than worth it."

She nodded and walked away, lifting a discreet eye up toward the ceiling.

Isabella opened the door and took a foot inside. Angel was knocked out cold, sprawled out on the bed in his briefs, amidst the tossed sheets. She sighed as she closed the door and walked over to the bed.

She placed her hand on his shoulder and shook it. "Wake up, Angel."

"Whaaattt…" he said almost inaudibly, eyes still closed.

"Angel!"

"I ain't got no more to give you chica," he mumbled.

She puffed then took a filled-up glass of water off the nightstand and splashed it on his face, making him sit up instantly and open his bloodshot eyes.

"What the fuck!?" he yelled out wiping the water off his face with his hand. He then focused his eyes on her. "Bella?"

As he slowly started to get a grip on his functions, he sneered at her. "Shouldn't you be fucking Bishop or something?"

"Oh, that's low."

"Well, you didn't come here to fuck me so."

"Damn right I didn't. We need to talk Angel."

"I'm done talking with you."

"Fine, then just listen to me. You need to let this go, now."

"Or what?" he said as he grimaced at her.

"This concerns you and me, not the club."

"Don't forget Bishop. Hey, I'm all up for a threesome."

"You know what, fuck you, Angel. I'm only here to prevent you from making a big mistake."

She started to walk away when he stood from the bed and grabbed her arm, forcing her to turn and look at him.

"Why?"

"It just happened Angel."

He let out a laughing roar. "You just happened to slip, and his cock found itself in your pussy? How convenient for both of you."

"You always were a bad drunk. I didn't set out to be with Bishop out of spite or revenge, regardless of what you may think. We got close and then it moved on from that."

"And during that time, you didn't even think about me and my feelings?"

"You've got some nerve talking to me about feelings. They only matter when Angel Reyes says they do. You're a hypocrite and fucking selfish. Not everything is about you. What about me!? What about the life I deserve?!"

He let go of her arm and in anger, swung his arm into the armoire, sending everything that was on it crashing to the ground.

Bishop looked up toward the ceiling upon hearing the ruckus, stood instantly and ran up the stairs.

"I am the one you deserve, Bella. Why wasn't I enough?"

"Angel," she said softly. "I could never love you like I did back then. Everything that happened since that fatal night, it broke me. I'm not who I was back then. When I look at you, I see a version of me that I will no longer know and that hurts like you can't possibly imagine. I can't be with you because it brings that back and it's tearing me up inside."

"I can fix you, Bella. Let me fix you."

"I don't want you to fix me. You can't."

Angel who had regained his calm suddenly snapped. "But fucking Bishop can, huh?!"

Isabella turned around and started walking toward the door. "We're done here. You want to go on a rampage, fine by me. Just be a man and own up to the consequences."

Just as Angel violently grabbed her, the door flung open, and Bishop enraged eyes connected with Angel's as he stepped into the room. Seeing that Isabella was out of the way, he threw a punch at Angel's face, making him let go of Isabella and fall back on the bed.

Angel grimaced at Bishop. "You want to fight old man. Well come on, let's get this over with," he said as he stood back up at the edge of the bed and flung his fist at Bishop who caught it mid-air, only for Angel to punch him with his other hand in the flank.

Isabella stood paralyzed as they continued to throw punches at each other like a bunch of kindergarteners fighting over a toy. She felt a strong hand grab her forearm and pull her out of the room. She looked over her shoulder and saw Taza behind her. He took the doorknob and closed the door.

"Let them handle it man to man," said Taza. "You, Isobella don't need to see this. Come one, let's go down and get some coffee."

He put his arm around her shoulder and led her toward the stairs as the uproar and commotion continued inside the room, along with groans of pain, grunts, and the sound of skin on skin.

As she reached the main floor of the house, all eyes were on her, and she never felt so embarrassed in her life. With tears in her eyes, she grabbed her purse she had left on the table and ran out of the house.

"Isabella!" yelled out Taza as she got behind the wheel of her car and drove off. He then turned to Vicki and shook his head. "Men and their testosterones… in the end she's more in pain than they are up there."

Bishop and Angel looked at each other from opposite floors of the room. Both were bleeding in various places of their faces and knuckles. The room was tossed upside down.

"I don't want to fight with you Angel," said Bishop.

Angel wiped off the blood underneath his nose with the back of his hand. "I'm sorry. She just…when you've been with her you…"

"Never want to let her go?" asked Bishop as he finished Angel's sentence.

"Yeah."

"I know," said Bishop.

"I know it's not my business, but where is this going?"

"You're right, compared to you I'm an old man. I've lived and I've loved a lot of women. Or so I thought. You always think you're in love until a different, better love comes along and makes you question everything. The way I feel about Isabella, I've never felt that for anyone before. Is it love?" Bishop paused.

"Is it?" asked Angel.

"It sounds crazy, but yes, Angel, I'm in love with her, every single aspect and thing about her. It's like she's the one I've spent my whole life waiting for."

Angel put his head back against the wall and looked up at the ceiling as he let a half-laugh out.

"Damn, Bish, that's beautiful and deep."

Bishop smiled and laughed. "Shut up," he said as he stood up and walked over to Angel putting his hand out.

Angel took it and let Bishop help him stand. Both men rearranged their clothes and looked at each other.

"You ever disrespect me again," said Bishop, "and I'll cut you to pieces and feed you to the wolves."

Angel nodded. "You hurt or disrespect her, and I'll kill you one bullet to the head and leave you on the side of a dirt road for the coyotes to tear you apart."

Bishop smiled making Angel smile. "Glad we got that covered," he said as he patted Angel on the shoulder and headed for the door.

Taza, Vicki and the girls looked at the two men as they reached the last step.

"Glad you brothers have worked it out," said Taza.

"Sorry about the room, Vicki," said Bishop as he pulled out a wad of money. "Here's for the trouble caused."

Vicki took the money and shook her head even though she wasn't angry.

Bishop looked around the room and frowned. "Where's Isabella?"

"She left, hermano. She seemed pretty upset."

"That's my fault," said Angel.

"Mine too," added Bishop. "Let's give her some space. We need to get back to the club. I'll find her later."

All three men looked at each other and nodded in agreement.
