It's been a few months since my talk with Tsunade about the fact I couldn't train in the ways of the shinobi anymore.
Or at least I would've said that if it wasn't for the fact that Jiraiya was there the very next day.
Tsunade told me that she wanted to train me to be known as the strongest Academy student and both she and Jiraiya would teach me so I could gain that title.
For now, they were focused on chakra control exercises since that would help me better control the Nine Tails.
Their words, not mine.
I did a ton more exercises like kunai balancing, wall climbing, leaf concentration, leaf floating, etc.
"Gods damn it How is it that hard to walk on one fucking tree?!" I yell out in anger I pick up my kunai in frustration.
"I told you, you need to regulate your chakra a bit more," Jiraiya says as I nod in understanding.
Tree climbing exercise (Active) LVL: 2/20 [33%]
Description: One of the many chakra control exercises.
Permanently adds 10% of chakra control to the CC bar once the Skill is maxed out.
Waterfall Walking Exercise (Active) LVL: 1/20 [0%]
This is another Chakra Control exercise which resolves around using chakra to go against the flow of a waterfall, in an attempt to climb it. Chakra must be outputted in a steady stream and must have a force greater than the Waterfall's water flow.

Senbon Balancing Exercise (Active) LVL: 1/20 [0%]
Description: An exercise where the user makes a very small chakra tip out of their fingertips, and would attempt to balance the senbon in the air.

Kunai Balancing Exercise(Active) LVL: 1/20 [0%]
Description: An exercise where the user has to mould and compress their chakra into their fingertips, from which they would attempt to balance the Kunai in the air.

Leaf Transportation Exercise (Active) LVL: 1/20 [0%]
Description: An exercise where the user moulds their chakra, and uses it as a vehicle of sorts to have the leaf move from their forehead to their feet.

Leaf Floating Exercise (Active) LVL: 1/20 [0%]
Description: An exercise where the user moulds their chakra and in one continuous burst has the leaf float.

Water walking exercise (Active) LVL: 1/20 [0%]
Description: One of the many chakra control exercises.
Permanently adds 20% of chakra control to the CC bar once the Skill is maxed out.

"This is frustrating. Can't I do another exercise or at least shorten the period needed to do this?" I complain, letting myself fall on my back.
"Well, I do have a way of you mastering the exercise but I need you to promise that you won't use this until you become a Genin," Jiraiya says with a stern look on his face.
"Promise."
"Alright then, I suppose I can show you how it works. Follow my hand signs, alright?" Jiraiya tells me, to which I nod my head in rapid succession, ready to learn whatever he's trying to teach me.
He starts with Ram, then Boar, Dog and ends it off with Horse as he then says "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" and another him appears right before my eyes.

This is gonna be the best training arc ever!
I copy the hand signs and bring a clone to life as Jiraiya would then punch him in the face, making my clone disappear in a puff of smoke.
"Hey! What was that for? Shouldn't you-?" I say before the memories of how Jiraiya punched my clone return to me except I'm the one that's getting punched instead of my clone.
I then hear a ping in the back of my head so I take a look at it.
Shadow Clone Jutsu (Active) LVL: 1/100 [0%]
Description: Similar to the basic Clone jutsu, this technique creates copies of the user, however, these clones are corporeal instead of illusions.
The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power.
The clones can perform techniques on their own, including the Shadow Clone Technique itself, and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after being hit by a strong enough force.
The clones can also disperse on their own or be dispelled by the user of the technique.
A unique characteristic of the Shadow Clone Technique is that any experience the clones gain during their existence is transferred to the user once they are dispersed.
Shadow Clones retain the max CP of 40% of the original user.
CP cost: 1000 CP per clone.
Clone Durability: 1 Hit

Is this why the Shadow Clone is a forbidden Jutsu?
Because the original gets the memories of the clones he dispels?
My memory is kind of fuzzy since it's been a while since I last used my meta-knowledge to my advantage.
"This is how we're gonna train. I want you to make 1800 clones and then split them into teams of nine. Their only job will be to make sure that your Chakra Control reaches its peak." Jiraiya orders me as I do exactly what he just said.
Separating my 1800 clones into 9 teams of 200, Jiraiya hands some of them a ton of leaves, kunais and senbons and leaves them to it while I tag along with him.
"So, while they're training, what am I gonna be doing?" I ask him.
"Simple, you're going to meditate." He replies easily.
"That seems easy enough.
"Until you meet the Nine Tails. Here's the key." Jiraiya says slapping my stomach with a seal as I can kind of feel a change in my chakra coils.
It almost feels like I can access more of my power.
Wait a second...
Didn't he just say something about meeting Kurama?

"...Did the Toads make you smoke something? 'cause I don't know if you've noticed but he's gonna kill me if I even try to get in there and I don't even have 5 Jutsus to attack him if he tries to kill me," I say in an exasperated voice.
"Yeah, I suppose it would be suicidal to send you there without you a few techniques. Come with me." The Toad Sage would say as we further distanced ourselves from my clones and went to another section of the training ground we're currently in.
"Come on, show me what you can do then. Use everything in your arsenal to defeat me. I'm only gonna use Taijutsu to kick your ass." Jiraiya says as he then into a fighting stance.
"Okay but remember, you wanted this to happen," I say before firing a [Red] at Jiraiya, who swiftly evades it by tilting his head to the side and then disappears from my line of sight.
'Is he below me? Beside me? My left or my right? Could he be behind me? Wait no, he's...' I thought before getting hit with an axe kick to the head as Jiraya would then use his built-up momentum to hit me with a spin kick to the chest, which sends me flying into a tree.
"You know, you're not gonna beat me now so you might as well give up."
"You haven't seen anything yet!" I jump out of my makeshift hole and fire multiple [Red] and [Blue] but he either dodges them or blocks them.
This isn't working.
I need to catch him off guard so I can hit him.
One hit.
Just one hit.
"Let me hit you, at least once," I say as I begin to weave hand signs for my favourite Jutsu.
"Hmph, aren't you getting a bit desperate?" Jiraiya says, crossing his arms while throwing a smirk, which angers me because he knows I can't hit him as I am now.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!" I cast before spewing out a huge stream of fire at Jiraiya, who uncrosses his arms and claps both of his hands together.
Suddenly, the stream of fire turned into an orange liquid that fell off a few meters away from my target.
"I told you, you're gonna lose 'cause you're getting desperate. If you lose focus, your opponent automatically wins." He says with a hint of arrogance in his voice.
"I'm gonna win, you hear me?! I'm gonna win! I'll be known as The Strongest!" I growl at him while trying to think of a way to beat him.
"Hoh? 'The Strongest'? Quite the claim, don't you think?"
"Yes, that's what I'll be. Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, the strongest Shinobi in the world!"
"And why do you think you deserve to become the strongest? Because of the Uzumaki Clan? Because your dad was the Fourth Hokage? If you think like that, then don't bother trying to become one of us." Jiraiya says before I leap towards him and then start throwing punches and kicks but he evades them rather easily.
I need to figure something out because this isn't working out in my favour.
"Come on! Think about it. Think about my mom's bloodline. Think about... the Uzumaki Clan.
Think about the Uzumaki Clan.
They have a couple of Kekkei Genkais like Mind's Eye Kagura, Healing Bite or the Chakra Chains.
I must have one of those, considering the fact Kushina was able to use the Chakra Chains, even in death.
I just need to bring it out somehow.
"I want you to know something. If you don't attack me in one minute, I'm going to kill Shizune right in front of you. I don't have time to train weaklings like you." Jiraiya says in a cold tone.
I clench my fists in anger because there's nothing I can do.
"Wait! I can do this! Just don't hurt anyone else! Please!" I plead.
"Why? Weren't you the one that bragged about he would become the strongest?"
"Yeah, but I didn't think you'd be willing to go that far. Come on, tell me what to do so I can fix this. There's no need for murder."
"Is that what you're gonna do every time your loved ones are in danger, Naruto? Talk with that person and see if that person's mentality can be changed? Wake up! Sometimes words won't work on people so you'll have to use your fists but are you strong enough to fight and protect those that you care about? Thirty seconds left Naruto, I'd be thinking of a plan if I was you." Jiraya tells me with stern tone in his voice.

He's right.
Somethings just can not resolved with words.
Sometimes, you have to dirty your hands in order to achieve your goals and if I want to ptotect those I care about, then I need to strengthen myself or else, I'll be left behind.
I need to unlock the power of the Uzumaki Clan to win this.

"Mom, if you can hear me, please lend me your strength. Just this once and I promise to not bother you again." I plead as tears fell down and I throw my head back while thinking about the worst times in my life.
"Okay then, Naruto. Give it all you've got. This is the full power of the Uzumaki Clan, Dattebane!" A voice resound in my head before I clutch it and hold it in pain.
"Dammit all, this fucking hurts!" I yell out in pain.
It feels like a hundred needles are stabbing me in the brain while there's also acid pouring out of them.
"Endure it! What you're feeling is probably the Nine Tails giving you some of its Chakra. Don't fight it, accept it so you can become even stronger than you are now." Jiraiya encourages me.
I don't know if he still hates me or is trying to tell me to fight the pain but I'm litterally trying to not get brain damage from whatever is happening to my body.
A golden chain erupts from the ground and pulls me up as I then dust myself and get a better look at it.

It feels like I unlocked the Uzumaki clan's techniques through my emotions, which is something I didn't expect but the advantage is certainly welcome.
I hear two pings going off in the back of my head so I take a look at them.

Mind Eyes of Kagura (Active/Passive) LVL: 1/30 [0%]
Description: The Mind's Eye of the Kagura is a technique that allows one tosensechakra from exceptional distances in great detail. These sensory capabilities bless you with abilities that even surpass dÅjutsu with comparable powers.
By focusing on a particular target, you can perceive its characteristics, location, and movements with great detail.
You can even deduce its particular Chakra nature.
These attributes give you the ability to perceive fluctuations in a person's chakra made when they are moulding it, lying, or if someone, including yourself, is under a genjutsu.
Your eyes become red when using this technique.
Passive Range: 25m
Active Range: 30m
Cost: 200 CP per minute
Chakra Chains (Active) LVL: 1/50 [0%]
Description: This is a sealing technique that is characteristic of the Uzumaki clan.
Users produce chains made out of their own chakra, which typically emerge from their torso. Users control the chains as they extend outwards from their body, most commonly to wrap around targets and restrain them.
A barrier can be erected between two or more sealing chains, which is quite impregnable: Kushina Uzumaki creates such a barrier to not only prevent the Nine-Tails from escaping a defined area, but also to prevent the Third Hokage from entering it.
It also can be used offensively and this is called Adamntine Attacking Chains.
Using this technique, Karin manifested chakra-based chains from her body which she can use to attack and pulverise a target.
Despite the Adamantine Attacking Chains being an incomplete version of the Adamantine Sealing Chains, Karin was able to use this technique to destroy most of Tobi's giant wooden statue and its many hands.

Cost: 3000 CP per chain
"You did it, kid. You unlocked the power of your mother's bloodlines.
"I'm ready. Let me show you the power of the Uzumaki Clan." I say before commanding the chain to continously attack Jiraiya where he is while I throw a punch at his gut, to which he manages to block the first one but fails against the second one and that pushes him back a few feet back.
I command the chain to come back and sweep Jiraiya under his legs but jumps in the air as I dismiss the chain, too tired to keep on using it.
The chain is great and all but because it took so much for me to get it, I'd rather hold off using it in battle or to seal things.
I need to get perfect Chakra control if I even want to use this.
I lunge forward at Jiraiya then kick him in the gut and do a roundhouse kick at the back of his head, making him spin before he lands a couple of feet back from where I am.
"That's enough for today. You can be proud of what you achieved. Dispel your clones so we can go celebrate your progress." Jiraiya says as I do so and multiple pings ring in my head so I clutch to try and dull the pain but it doesn't work.
"Naruto, hold on kid. Damn it, should've told you not to do it all at once."
I can't hear the rest of the words and let darkness take control of me.

I wake up in a sewer and stare at the water as I then stand up, trying to make sense of my surroundings.
"Hello? Is anybody here?" I ask but no response.
Looks like I'm gonna have to find an exit.
With that, I walk aimlessly in search of a way to leave this place.
I eventually find a cage
"So, my jailer has come to bless me with his presence." I hear a voice say before I jump back as a claw tried to skewer me alive.
"Hello there...Kurama. We've got a lot to talk about, don't we?" I say omniously.
This was... going to be interesting.

So, Naruto and Kurama met, that's gonna be fun. In other news, I plan on Naruto fighting some bosses next chapter and I wanted to see which character you guys wanted to see train with him.

ofbefb34: I'm sorry if I misunderstood it. Yes he does have Fiction Adaptation but he will almost never use it to create godlike techniques like Hakai, Ultra Instinct or anything that can allow him to bend reality.
Guest: I guess we'll have to see. For now, he's playing the good guy card but again, we'll have to see what his true motives are.
The Black Cat 1843: I'm sorry if I wasn't clear before. Naruto is going to be one of the most powerful Genin in the five Elemental Nations but behind him will be Sasuke, Rock Lee and Neji.
