"How do you know my name?! The only people that know my name are my father and siblings so either you start explaining or I can leave you brain dead while I take over your body." The mighty Tailed Beast says, anger in his voice as he would then unleash a high level of killer intent at me.

Skill [Detect Killer Intent] has levelled up by one!

Okay...

He's serious about wanting to kill me.

I'm gonna have to turn the situation around and I think I know how.

"I would love to tell you how I know your name and the answer to that is... I can't do it, not yet at least." I tell him, trying to muster as much confidence as I can because I have a feeling I'm gonna need it.

Especially since I'm talking to the Kyuubi no Kitsune or is it Kyuubi no Yoko?

I don't know, Japan, China and South Korea have made multiple iterations about the Nine-Tails, ranging from a mischievous god that loves to do pranks to a sadistic demon who enjoys seeing humans enter a state of pure madness and kill each other like wild animals.

"You're going to tell me how you know my name, NOW!" Kurama tells me angrily.

"Right, this isn't going anywhere so I'm gonna leave this place. When you feel like you're ready to help me prepare against Madara Uchiha, hit me up." I tell him as I turn to make it seem like I'm leaving but then, I feel the rumbling and a huge amount of killer intent.

Skill [Detect Killer Intent] has levelled up by one!

Wow!

Only one more level and I'll have my first [Skill] maxed out.

I wonder what's going to happen to it when it's maxed out?

I see that Kurama's leaking his chakra so he could take over my body I know how to restore his true power but I need him to cooperate with me to face any future threats.

I certainly didn't want that piece of shit named Boruto to exist when Kawaki's way better than him, in that roster of characters I hate includes that four-eyed bitch Sarada and that Dracula vampire's puppet son, Mitsuki.

I'm gonna have a fever dream exterminating that pathetic alien race but for now...

"Tch, I don't need your help in killing that pathetic Uchiha. He will die by my hands soon enough. What YOU need to worry about is what I'm gonna do to you if you don't answer my questions." Kurama says, not falling for my bait like I thought he would.

Guess I should've known that it wouldn't be this easy.

"Fine, I've been reincarnated as Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki. That's why I know your name, Kurama." I say, telling him the truth because I am gonna need his help to defeat most of the future threats this world is gonna bring.

"Interesting... and give me a good reason why I should believe you?" He asks, glaring at me.

"As I said, Madara Uchiha survived during his battle with Hashirama Senju and has the Rinnegan, thanks to him sacrificing one of his eyes to Izanagi, a Genjutsu that allows the user to cheat death itself."

"Tch, this is not good. Not good at all. If he has the eyes of Father, then how can I defeat him?" Kurama asks rhetorically.

"With my help of course. I know everything up until Boruto, which is when you sacrifice yourself to save everyone by using a technique called the Baryon Mode." I tell him again.

"I don't know what a Boruto is but it sounds needy," Kurama says, trying to imagine to little sack of shit come to life and his adventures as a Shinobi.

"Oh trust me, it does. Back to the main problem I'm facing is the fact that I'm not gonna be strong enough to defeat him so I'm gonna need your help to kick his ass." I say, thinking of other ways to have this conversation go my way but I guess it ultimately falls on him to accept my offer.

If he doesn't, then it's fine 'cause I'll keep training the [Skills] and techniques I got now and when Jiraiya gives me the key to his seal, then I'll take his chakra by force.

I don't want to hurt him because he'll become a bro in the future but if kicking his ass means that we'll be able to become partners then so be it.

"Alright, I'll help you but only if you can get me to full power since I lost a good amount of my chakra the night I attacked your village and the late Fourth took away a piece of me with him to the Shinigami's realm when he died," Kurama tells me as a familiar ping sounds off in my head so I take a look at it.

Quest gained.

The Mighty Yoko no Kitsune

Objective: Restore Kurama to his full power.

I press [Y, already thinking of numerous ways to get Kurama's Yin half and his chakra back.

"I'll give you an ability that could help you while you try to reclaim my power back. Now, get out of here, lest I do this ordeal by myself." Kurama says, kicking me out of the mindscape, smirking a little as he watches me fly away.

-Scene change-

You have woken up in a hospital bed.

50% HP, CP and SP restored!

Status [Headache] has been inflicted until proper rest has been given.

...

Wait, what did she mean by that-?

"Yow! MOTHERFU-!" I yell out in pain, clutching my head in hopes of reducing the pain but it does nothing to help my current predicament.

"Tsunade, he's awake!" I hear Shizune's voice say before I force myself to sit up straight, feeling a slight headache before remembering that I kinda did this to myself by dispelling my clones at the same time.

I'm kinda lucky that I'm a Jinchurikki 'cause otherwise, I would've been in a coma for the remainder of my life due to that little stunt.

"Are you alright Naruto? Are you hurt anywhere else?" Tsunade asks rapidly, barging in the room with a small flashlight to probably take a look at my pupils but this hurts my head even more 'cause of the fact that I just woke up and the fact that dispelling the clones gave me a huge headache.

"Well, my head hurts so I would appreciate it if I didn't have a flashlight in my eyes. Other than that, a well-deserved nap will fix all of my troubles." I reply easily.

"R-right. Press the button if you need anything and we'll do our best to let you rest. Take care and I love you." Tsunade says, exiting the room as I stare at the place where she just stood a few seconds ago and mutter the words.

"Love you too, mom."

With that, I decided to check out the ability that Kurama said he gave me before kicking me out of the mindscape and may I just say this [Skill] will be very useful shortly.

Negative Emotions Sensing (Passive/Active) LVL: 1/25 [0%]

Description: This ability allows the user to sense hostility, hatred and other evil emotions in others. This ability also helps detect any deceit found in others, helping the user sift out the liars versus those who speak the truth.

Passive effect: 2 m

Active effect: 3 m

Cost: 100 CP per minute

Like I said, it's gonna be great to use shortly but I wonder if I can do the same thing but for positive emotions 'cause it won't always be easy to detect negative emotions if someone is way too happy to kill me so by having positive emotions in my arsenal of sensory techniques, I'll be able to detect people better.

I'll ask Kurama how to do that a bit later in the day 'cause right now, I have to leave this place to become stronger.

That fight with Jiraiya showed me that I need to rely on my own rather than others 'cause if Mom hadn't interfered in that fight, I would've lost.

The only I managed to hit that Pervy Sage was because of him being caught off guard by my usage of the [Admantine Chakra Chains].

"Hey brat, how you holding up?" Jiraiya asks, sitting on the edge of the window while I just stare at him, unsure of what to say.

"Could be better but I need to train. That fight we had earlier showed me that there's a huge gap between me and my father and I refuse for that to held over me for the rest of my life." I say with resolution in my voice.

"I should be trying to stop but fuck it, I can already guess that you won't back down from training and as your sensei, who am I to deny you of that?" He asks, grinning from ear to ear as I thrust my fist before flinching at the slight flash of pain I just got.

With that, we both go back to the same training we were training a few minutes ago and I summon the same amount of clones and have them focus on Chakra control exercises while I do my best to see what Jiraiya has in store for me.

"Well, you see kid, I wasn't supposed to show you this, in the orders of Tsunade and all that but I figured that it would be best if you could make some use of this." He says as he hands me a book and a ton and I mean, a ton of scrolls.

There was enough to make a bookshelf out of them.

"For your next lesson, you're going to learn everything there is to know about the Uzumaki clan. More specifically, you're going to learn Fuinjutsu, calligraphy and Kenjutsu as well their Taijutsu. When you're done with that, I'll teach you one of your father's techniques." My sensei says as he leaves me and my other clones alone, probably going to a hot spring or bar to relax if you know what I mean.

I make 100 clones and tell them to wait while I check out the book that Jiraiya just gave me.

I press [Y] and feel a myriad of knowledge enter my brain, forcing me to clutch my brain in agony while praying to every god that this pain would pass over soon.

Description: Fūinjutsu is a type of Jutsu that seals objects, living beings, and chakra, along with a wide variety of other things within another object. Fūinjutsu can also be used to restrict movement or unseal objects either from within something or someone.

Note: We can only do up to C-Rank sealing techniques.

"Alright then, let's do this. Boys, find every sealing scroll Jiraiya left us with and begin practicing on whatever is in the forest." I instruct my clones and they immediately go to work, using our intelligence to practice on some wild animals in the forest of death because technically, the animals aren't animals anymore.

They're more mutated beasts that have been given the body of animals.

There are two scrolls left, which haven't been touched by my clones so I take a look at them, hoping for those to be related to the Uzumaki clan like Jiraiya said they would.

I press [Y] and once more, I'm pelted by information about the Uzumaki clan's fighting style, which revolves around using their speed and some defence to defeat their enemies.

Description: A Taijutsu style comprising of the Uzumaki clan's taijutsu style, revolving around dodging tiring out the opponent countering their attacks, making the Uzumaki a threat in hand-to-hand combat.

I press [Y] and the same thing as before though this time, I have to bite my thumb due to the pain I'm feeling.

Guess I should've slept a bit longer but the thought of me not being able to save Jiraiya or anyone else I care about is enough to punish myself like this and quite frankly, I'd do it a thousand times if it meant that my family and friends were safe.

[Whirlpool Kenjutsu style] (Active) LVL: 1/5 [0%]

Description: Kenjutsu-ryu style revolves around overwhelming power, the complete opposite of the Uzumaki's Taijutsu, quickly breaks through an enemy's guard with complete ease and efficiency via Lightning-fast strikes.

Note: This technique is Basic and can evolve to Intermediate and Advanced.

Increases Strength by 10% when being used.

That's pretty cool but now's the time to grind.

I make a few hundred clones and separate them into two groups.

One group will focus on Uzumaki Tainutsu and the other on Uzumaki Kenjutsu.

It's within my hopes that I can be on the Intermediate level by the Jiraiya comes back so with that, I leave them to it, trusting them to get the job done.

I then sit down somewhere far away from them in a cross-legged position and begin to clear my mind of all distractions to try and talk to Kurama again in hopes of befriending him before the end of the day.

'Hello, it got real quiet over here.' I thought before hearing someone snicker and I sighed in exasperation, knowing exactly who it was.

'Hiya Naruto~' Ino says mentally while I resist the urge to facepalm myself.

'Hey Ino, how are you?' I reply, trying to make this conversation as short as possible so I can go back to try and talk to Kurama again.

It's not that I hated Ino or anything, it's just that...

'You want to go on a playdate with me? Seeing as Hinata and Sakura aren't keeping you company. A wife has to make her husband happy all the time.'

That...

That's what scares me about her.

She's 6 and knows about the intricate things of marriage.

That line of thought is outdated 'cause, in my first life, my second wife and I made sure to make each other happy with a simple rule.

Treat every day like it was our last.

These led to some of the best couple dates I've ever been on.

She truly was the star that kept on shining.

She was what made me happy.

Gods, I miss hearing her laugh.

I miss waking up next to her.

I miss everything that we do together.

I miss her.

'Hello? Earth to Naruto?' Ino asks, shifting my focus back to her, not that I wanted to because I was incredibly busy with training.

'Ino, I'm gonna have to cut this short. I'm learning a new Jutsu and if I'm not careful, it could hurt you and I don't want that to happen since you are my best friend and all.' I say before leaving the conversation, sighing in deep relief at the thought of having my mind to myself.

Although, I can imagine Ino cursing like a sailor because I just put her in the deadly 'friend zone'.

Heh, can't say I dislike teasing her but right now, I need to focus on accessing my mindscape like I did earlier.

'If you wanted to talk, you could've just thought about it.' Kurama's voice resounds in the corners of my mind, scaring me a bit 'cause I pretty much just sold my mental peace for a quick chat.

'Welp, I didn't think of it so cut me some slack, okay? And how are you even able to talk to me? I thought that was impossible due to the seals that my Dad put on you.' I tell him mentally.

'Normally, I wouldn't have been able to communicate with you until you disrupted the seal but since you entered the mindscape, I was able to tweak it out a bit so we should now be able to converse with one another.' He replies lazily while I just narrow my eyes at him, not understanding it but it's fine.

'Still, I can remove the tag and unlock the gate for you. It's the least that I can do for you, partner.' I thought before doing so, imagining myself doing these exact things and seeing Kurama being able to roam free inside of my mind.

'...Why?' Kurama asks.

'Why what?' I reply easily.

'Why would help me, knowing full well that I killed your parents? Knowing that I'm the reason that you don't have a family like other people.' He asks in anger.

'Because... I can't blame you for falling to Madara's Genjutsu. All Hagoromo asked of you Tailed Beasts was to be the guardians of Earth and we disrespected that wish by turning you and your siblings into weapons. For that, I would like to apologize on behalf of all of mankind.'

'Thank you, I mean that. Let's get strong so we can deal with Madara Uchiha when the time comes, partner.' Kurama says before our mental connection is cut off by him.

I'm guessing I made him emotional with my apology but to be fair, I needed him to not hate me and by extension, himself 'cause if I think about it, his whole life has been nothing short of never never-ending cycle of hatred.

From your Father disappearing to go who knows where to you getting constantly either sealed or mind controlled, who wouldn't be the incarnation of chaos and destruction when trying to get their life back?

I know I'd go full-on Kratos on the entire world if that ever happened to me.

Still...

I think we both needed this to move on and become a much more mature version of ourselves.

With that done, I think it was time to go back home so I dispelled each group that was focusing on Chakra control exercises and then ended it off with those that were practising [Calligraphy, [Basic Fuinjutsu, [Whirlpool Fighting Style] and [Whirlpool Kenjutsu Style].

I'm then left surprised by the amount of [Notifications] I got.

Description: An exercise where the user has to mould and compress their chakra into their fingertips, from which they would attempt to balance the Kunai in the air.

Description: An exercise where the user moulds their chakra, and uses it as a vehicle of sorts to have the leaf move from their forehead to their feet.

Description: An exercise where the user moulds their chakra and in one continuous burst has the leaf float.

Now that's over with, I can focus on building my arsenal of Jutsus, especially my Genjutsu 'cause I have zero technique in that department.

There's still a lot of them I decide to shut them off 'cause I need to get my beauty sleep.

With that, I walk to my house with a manic smile on my face as I imagine the look of pure shock that's gonna be on Jiraiya's face when he realizes that I did when most Shinobi couldn't accomplish it in two days.

Thanks to the Gamer powers, I'm a prodigy.

Once I'm home, I go into my room and lay on my bed, way too tired to change into my casual clothes.

Soon enough, I fall asleep, content with what has happened today.

The next chapter will be the start of the Academy and some surprises will happen but nothing too major.
