The 5 Major Lites

Each of the Lites had their own special power or ability, regarding an element that we know today:

Fotia = Fire

Nero = Water

Gian = Earth

Anemos = Air

What of Armonia you ask?

What's his element?

How was he significant?

Be patient, friends.

The 5 Lites used their powers to create everything we see around us today:

The Moon.

The Stars.

The Sun.

The Planets.

The Grass.

The Trees.

The Fires.

The Seas.

Even People.

The fire we use to cook with,

The water we drink and bathe in,

The food we eat,

The air we breathe,

They all come from the Lites.

But, cooking, cleaning, and living materials are not the only things the Lites gave us that help us in our daily lives.

The Lites gave us something that most of us choose to live without.

Some choose to take it for granted.

Others choose to use it wisely.

Very few choose to give it to others.

It is something that can take many forms.

It is something that keeps our heads up from day to night.

It is something that saves more lives than any person.

It is something that inspired the greatest of inventions…

possibly because it is the greatest invention.

What is this invention?

Hope.

A man who lived with depression all his life, decides to jump off a bridge. However, just as he's ready to take the plunge, something stops him. He turns around and starts a successful business. What stopped the man from killing himself? Hope.

A mother working three jobs to pay her bills and give her children food, but never gives up on herself. What keeps her going every day? Hope.

A volunteer organization who gives out food to the public. Not for money, or fame, or fortune, but to give these people not only food but what else? Hope.

A dog sitting alone at a shelter, abandoned, abused, and broken down, still manages to bark everyday with her fellow canines. She wags her tail when a person kneels to look at her. She always keeps a smile on her scarred face. What does she have? Hope.

How exactly did Hope begin?

What did the Lites have to do with it?

How did they create it?

The answer? Hope is just another gift that the Lites brought us.

A gift, like all gifts, we have learned and will learn to continue to keep alive.
