That Saturday, Marinette was over at the Agreste Manor training with Adrien and Kagami.
"Have to say, you're great with a sword, Marinette," said Kagami as the three took a seat on a bench to take a break.
"Thanks Kagami," said Marinette.
"But I'm nowhere near as good as the two of you, you were running circles around me the whole time," she said.
"I wouldn't say that, you were able to hold your own against the two of us pretty well out there," said Adrien.
"We couldn't even land a single hit the entire time," he said.
"Huh, I guess I did," said Marinette.
"By the way, we have something to tell you, Adrien," said Kagami while shifting the way she had been sitting so she was close to Marinette and looking over at him.
"What is it?" asked Adrien.
"The… the two of us are dating," said Marinette with a bright red face.
"Oh, well congratulations," said Adrien who looked a little saddened at hearing this but was doing his best to cover it up with a cheerful smile.
"But there's also something Marinette wants to ask you," said Kagami.
"There is?" asked Adrien.
"I don't just like Kagami, I also have feelings for you, Adrien," said Marinette as she managed to look at him.
"And I was wondering if you would accept them," she said.
"Wait, you have feelings for both of us at the same time?" asked a surprised Adrien.
"She does, and I gave her the go ahead to ask you out as I want her to be happy even if it means bringing in another partner," said Kagami as she grabbed Marinette's hand.
"If… if you're not alright with us going out then we can just stay friends," said Marinette who was starting to panic from the reaction Adrien gave.
"Marinette, I was just surprised to hear all of this," said Adrien.
"In truth I actually like the both of you," he said with a nervous smile.
