A little girl with golden blonde hair tied into two pigtails was running away from some bullies. Just because her hair was not a natural Japanese color did not mean that she wasn't Japanese herself. She just didn't understand why people would chase her due to her hair color of all things. If it was because she was mean, then yeah, she would have chased after her as well for acting like that. However, it was because of her hair color that the little girl was trying to hide from the bullies. It wasn't long that a bully actually caught up with her and pulled her by her arm. "Itai (Ow)," yelped out the little girl.

"That's what you get for having a weird hair color, you freak," said the bully.

"Yeah," said another, "Why don't you go back to your own country."

"D-Demo," whimpered the little girl, "Japan IS my country."

The little girl started to cry more as the bullies started to laugh and taunt the little girl. It wasn't until something, a small rock, flew towards one of the bullies and smacked his forehead. All of the bullies and the little girl blinked before turning towards where the rock came from. There, in the distance, was a little boy with black hair with tints of green. His little brown eyes glared threateningly at the bullies as he took on the scene in front of him. "Hey," shouted the little boy, "Why don't you pick someone your own size?!"

"Oh yeah," shouted back another bully, "Do you want a fight, ya little twerp?"

"Come at me," said the little boy, "Demo, leave the girl alone."

The little girl looked at the little boy in surprise just as she was ungracefully dropped to the ground. It was there that the little girl saw the little boy smirk before punching as hard as his little fists could get at the bullies' stomachs. She blinked more as she saw the boy in front of her winning against the bullies. It didn't take long as the bullies practically ran away from the two. The little boy glared more at the retreated backs before turning his brown eyes at the little girl. His eyes soften as he walked towards the girl. "Hey," said the little boy, "Are you alright?"

"I… I think so," said the little girl.

"Why were they picking on you anyways," questioned the boy.

"Because of my hair color," said the girl who sniffed sadly.

"Hair color," questioned the boy.

"Un," nodded the girl, "Because they have never seen a hair color like mine, they think I'm not Japanese."

"Well, that's stupid of them," said the boy.

The little girl smiled a bit at the boy before looking down at herself. Her pretty dress had a lot of dirt on it and a bit a tear at the hem. She knew that her kāsan was going to have a fit when she got back to her and her new otōto. The boy could tell that the girl was still sad as he shifted his foot from left to right. He didn't know what to do, but he hoped that what he said next would bring another pretty smile to her face. "Since you need someone to protect you," said the boy, "I'll be your bodyguard."

"Bodyguard," questioned the girl who wrinkled her nose, "Why not be my friend instead?"

"You rather have a friend than a protector," questioned the boy.

"I rather have fun with friends than worry about protectors being hurt because of me," said the girl with a nod.

"If you sure," said the boy, "Anyways, boku wa Urameshi Yūsuke (I am Yūsuke Urameshi)."

"Watashi wa Tsukino Usagi (I am Usagi Tsukino)," said the little girl, Usagi, "I hope we'll be great friends!"

"So," said Yūsuke, "What do you want to do now?"

"Hm," hummed Usagi before a smirk formed.

"W-What's that look for," questioned Yūsuke.

"Tag," shouted Usagi who touched Yūsuke gently, "You're it!"

"W-Wah," squawked Yūsuke, "H-Hey! Get back here!"

"Can't catch me, Yūsuke-kun," shouted Usagi.

- Yūsuke & Usagi: 14-Years-Old –

"S-She's," started Yūsuke who was floating above a certain friend of his.

Yūsuke Urameshi, age 14, practically died because he was saving a little boy from a reckless driver. He, however, was sticking around and has gained a second chance at life by higher beings named Botan and Koenma. Due to this, he was now floating around the mortal realm as a spirit, waiting for his spiritual energy to gather before being used to resurrect himself. He was also at his own funeral, yet the weird thing was that one particular friend of his never showed up. Yūsuke frowned as he thought about why this friend, his first childhood crush before his crush on a certain Yukimura Keiko, didn't show. Flying around with Botan near him, Yūsuke finally found said friend running towards his district before a distinct beeping sound came from her wrist. He saw her stop with a frown on her face as she pressed a button or something, letting a loud female voice yelling at her. It wasn't long as Yūsuke finally found out just why his friend wasn't even at his funeral. "Oh," said Botan beside him, "It seems as though your friend is a Sailor Senshi."

"Sailor Senshi," murmured Yūsuke before… "You mean to tell me that Usa-chan is a magical heroine who showed up months ago?!"

"It seems so," said Botan, "This friend of yours also died but got resurrected a different way."

"No way," said Yūsuke with denial written all over his face.

"It's true," said Botan who was looking through her grim reaper book, "Here we go! Tsukino Usagi, age 14. She died a month ago in the Arctic Circle when she, along with her fellow Senshi, were facing a magical witch by the name of Queen Metalia."

Yūsuke looked really disturbed by hearing Botan telling him that his friend died before he did a month ago. He glared out in the open before following the now transformed Usagi towards wherever she was going. There, he and Botan got front row seats to Usagi and four others fighting against an ugly monster-like being, trying to also help a civilian who was caught in the crossfire. Once the monster turned to actual dust, Yūsuke also witnessed how the one in red was reaming against Usagi being late to fight the monster, the others not saying anything. "I mean," said the one in red, "Can't you get your act together and be the hime you were reincarnated as?!"

"Usa's not a hime," said Yūsuke confusedly.

"Ah," said Botan who looked at her book, "There's a note here. It says that she discovered being the reincarnated Tsuki no Hime months ago. There's also a note that the other Senshi are the hime from the Solar System's planets."

"Well," said Yūsuke, "Usa shouldn't change who she is, hime or not! She's great the way she is!"

Before Yūsuke could go into a rant about Usagi being perfect, Koenma, in holographic form, showed up before Botan and Yūsuke. It was there that Yūsuke found out that he had a day for someone that cared for him to give him a kiss. His spiritual energy was at a peak that needed a conduit from someone's care, thus the kiss. Botan was the one who told Yūsuke that he could explain what needs to be done through his precious people's dreams. "Great," said Yūsuke, "Once I'm up and running again, I'm pounding that red one for insulting my best friend!"

- The Next Day –

Yūsuke was raging as no one he cared for was listening to his dreams. He wasn't even sure if Usagi would think the dreaming thing was false or not due to her being a magical heroine herself. He knew that he really also didn't want to possess anyone to tell Usagi or Keiko that he needed a kiss from them. Usagi, on her part, was contemplating on the dream about her kissing her childhood friend, Yūsuke. She was sure that it wasn't a trick from her newest enemy to date. Shaking her head mentally, Usagi headed towards the Nezu District, where Sarayashiki Junior High resided in, to check up on Yūsuke and his mother. She heard from Keiko that Yūsuke was in a coma and not dead, but the how part wasn't answered. She, however, didn't notice Yūsuke floating behind her. "I wonder how Yūsuke is doing," said Usagi to herself, "I hope that I could have gone to the funeral at least, demo…"

"Usa," murmured Yūsuke as his brown eyes soften.

"Ah," groaned out Usagi to herself, "Ail and Ann… I wonder where they came from and why they need the life energy."

"Aliens," questioned Yūsuke, "That's what Usa's fighting against?!"

"I really want to ring their necks for making Youma of all things to get life energy," said Usagi, "Can't people just ASK for help instead of doing stupid things like dangering others?"

Yūsuke chuckled to himself has he had gotten details from Usagi, even if it was unconsciously on her part. He knew that something or someone was stopping his childhood friend from telling him about her nightlife. He felt like he was going to ring someone's neck for not letting his friend vent to him about her dangerous life. Yūsuke was surprised, though, when he recognized where Usagi was heading. He almost tripped over thin air when he heard what Usagi said next. "That dream though," said Usagi before blushing.

"S-She DID have that dream," said Yūsuke before listening to Usagi more.

"W-Was that actually a dream or just my ugly crush on Yūsuke rearing its ugly head," muttered to Usagi.

"S-She has a crush on me, too," questioned Yūsuke in surprise, "No way! A girl like her wouldn't caught dead with a delinquent like me."

"Ugh," groaned out Usagi, "Once I check on Yūsuke and decide this is a dream, I'm going to bury my crush so deep that not even he will find out."

"Too late for that," chuckled a still shocked Yūsuke.

"Besides," said Usagi to herself sadly, "Yūsuke is in love with Keiko-san. I could tell the first time Yūsuke gushed out about her to me. I never even stood a chance anyways."

Yūsuke winced as he recalled how he did do that when it was just Usagi and him hanging out. Yūsuke really should have learn Usagi's cues when he hung out with her. Though, was Usagi that great of an actor? He could always tell how Usagi felt through her crystal blue eyes, but guess he was ignorant of her feelings. Yūsuke sighed as he followed Usagi like a shadow to where his body was in a coma-like state. He was, however, surprised that Usagi produced a key from her pocket. "," sighed Usagi, "I wonder why Yūsuke's kāsan gave me this key. She should have given it to Yūsuke's actual crush, though."

"K-Kāsan gave a key to Usagi," exclaimed a surprised Yūsuke as he heard…

"Ah, Usagi-san," said a happy, slightly drunk woman, Yūsuke's kāsan, Urameshi Atsuko.

"Atsuko-obasan (auntie)," said Usagi who bowed in front of her.

"Finally came to see Yūsuke, huh," questioned Atsuko.

"I would have came," said Usagi, "Demo…"

"Aww," said Atsuko drunkenly, "Usagi-san still thinks Yūsuke doesn't like her."

Usagi and Yūsuke blinked in unison before Yūsuke heard Usagi protest that it wasn't like that. Yūsuke knew that it wasn't like that since as a spirit, he was kind of stalking Usagi and found out about her nightlife. Usagi, on her part, pouted as Atsuko laughed at Usagi. Atsuko knew that even though Yūsuke says he likes Keiko, his heart was already captured by Usagi as a little girl. Call it mother's intuition, but she could see Yūsuke and Usagi in the long run. Atsuko got up from her seat and patted Usagi from behind before telling her to go to Yūsuke. The mother then left the house as Usagi blinked bewildered at Atsuko, Yūsuke sweat-dropping in spirit form. With nothing else to do, Usagi went into the room where Yūsuke was lying down, breathing slowly. She was just sitting there as she looked over Yūsuke. "I wonder," said Usagi, "If the Ginzuishō can resurrect you."

"Ginzuishō," questioned Yūsuke.

"Ah, demo," said Usagi, "The other Senshi will probably tell me how irresponsible of me to use the Ginzuishō when it's not being used on our enemies."

"Ara (Oh)," said Botan with a thoughtful look.

"Botan," yelped Yūsuke, "When did you get here?"

"Just when Usagi came into the room," said Botan as she looked through her book.

"So," said Yūsuke, "Do you know what she's talking about?"

Botan looked at her book before seeing something that was very curious. Yūsuke looked at Botan expectantly, though, because apparently, Botan had all the answers. When Botan had her eyes widen in shock at something she read, Yūsuke was beginning to get impatient. Botan's book, apparently, had the answer to whatever Usagi was talking about. He gritted his teeth before yelling out Botan's name to get her attention. "Oi, Botan," shouted Yūsuke, "What's the Ginzuishō?!"

"Oh," said Botan, "Just another way for you to resurrect."

"H-Hontō," asked Yūsuke in awe.

"Mhm," nodded Botan, "However!"

"There's always a catch," muttered Yūsuke.

"If Usagi uses the Ginzuishō," said Botan, "Her life energy gets drained and too much will eventually make her die."

"E-E-EH," shouted Yūsuke.

"So, best get your friend to kiss you," said Botan, "Less death that way."

Yūsuke winced at the thought of his best friend… his childhood friend… dying in place of him living. He couldn't actually picture his life without his best friend by his side, no matter if he married someone else. Yūsuke looked at Usagi and saw that she was clenching a pretty brooch closely. He knew that that brooch was how Usagi henshin into Sailor Moon, but was that where this Ginzuishō was? Yūsuke was about to try to communicate with Usagi, but he froze just as Usagi did a split second moment. Usagi, on her part, looked around before connecting her lips with Yūsuke's. Yūsuke looked so surprise that a familiar beep broke the lip contact. Botan, on her part, was surprised Usagi was the one who quickly gave Yūsuke a kiss before it was quickly broken before the correct life energy was used. "Moon here," said Usagi who was looking at Yūsuke sadly.

"Get your butt to downtown, Usagi," said a female voice, "More children's energy are getting taken."

"Hai," said Usagi, "I'll be there."

"Be careful," said another female voice, "We don't know where this Youma is appearing."

Usagi nodded her head before closing her communicator. Yūsuke blushed when he saw Usagi's transformation up close and personal once Usagi shouted a familiar phrase to her. There, standing next to Yūsuke's body was now Sailor Moon who looked at Yūsuke sadly. Yūsuke could tell that she really wanted him to come back to life and gave the dream a chance. With another kiss to his cheek instead, Yūsuke watched as Usagi jumped out of his balcony and raced back towards Jūban. He, however, gaped in surprise when he was glowing silver AND gold. "Botan," questioned Yūsuke.

"I guess with her spirit energy and life energy from the Ginzuishō," said Botan with a curious look, "It is reviving you fully."

"Great," said Yūsuke happily.

"Don't worry if you don't see me anymore," said Botan, "We'll see each other again soon."

With that, Yūsuke disappeared in spirit form and woke up physically. He looked around his bedroom and looked at himself. He could finally feel his body AND wasn't going through the bed. Yūsuke stretched just as he witnessed a bit of silver disappearing from his fingertips. Tracing a finger over his lips, Yūsuke smirked to himself. "Now, Usagi," said Yūsuke to himself, "It's time we have a serious talk. Yūsuke then sweat-drops. Demo, I first have to find you."

- Yūsuke & Usagi: Age 17 –

Yūsuke twitched one of his eyes as he looked at what was going on when he got back from the Demon World. It was a long three years, but Yūsuke and Usagi were finally together after the Ankoku Bujutsukai (Dark Tournament) debacle. They did talk to each other when Yūsuke was revived, but Usagi said that Yūsuke had to determine his feelings for Keiko before they could actually be together, which, to Yūsuke, was fair because of how he kept on talking about Keiko to Usagi. Usagi and Yūsuke also had each other's backs when their own enemies reared their ugly heads, especially with the whole Shinobu Sensui incident. Usagi even wasn't afraid of him becoming part demon when he died a second time and reawakened said demon blood. Yūsuke also helped Usagi through the whole Senshi Wars with Sailor Galaxia, drooling when Usagi, at the end, didn't have any clothes on as she healed Galaxia from the entity Chaos. Though, now that he was back from traveling and finally getting his demon side handled, he was now met with his team on one side and the Sailor Senshi on the other. "What is going on," shouted Yūsuke.

"Yūsuke," shouted a happy red-orange haired male teen, Kuwabara Kazuma.

"Welcome back," said a deep red haired male teen, Minamino Shūichi, a.k.a. Kurama.

"Don't mind these weaklings," said a spiky black haired male, Jaganshi Hiei.

"Weaklings," growled out a sandy blonde haired woman, Tenō Haruka, a.k.a. Sailor Uranus, to Yūsuke's knowledge.

"Hai," said Hiei, "Weaklings."

"We'll show you weaklings," said a brown ponytail wearing woman, Kino Makoto, a.k.a. Sailor Jupiter.

Yūsuke's eye twitched more as he surveyed the two groups glaring at each other. He didn't know what he stumbled upon, but he could see that Usagi was, again, not present. He wondered what was keeping his kanojo this time. Yūsuke didn't even acknowledge the fight between the two groups as a familiar pair of arms hugged Yūsuke from behind. Yūsuke could also feel a warm breath near his ear as curious crystal blue eyes stared at the two groups. "Usa," said Yūsuke, "Tadaima (I'm back)."

"Okaeri (Welcome back)," said a familiar female voice, "How was training?"

"It… was an experience," said Yūsuke, "Demo, I missed you, Usa."

"Missed you too," said Usagi.

Yūsuke, who really missed Usagi, turned around and saw Usagi in all of her glory. Finally gone with her baby fat, Usagi was very beautiful. She was wearing an off-the-shoulder cropped top, but it wasn't noticeable when Usagi was wearing Yūsuke's green jacket. Yūsuke could tell that it was a cropped top because it showed off her toned stomach. Yūsuke was a bit disappointed that Usagi was wearing jeans though, but he knew that he came back near the end of the summer season. It was bound to get colder by the day. Usagi, on her part, was checking out Yūsuke. He was wearing a sleeveless yellow shirt and blue martial arts pants. His hair wasn't slicked back with gel and was actually pretty messy, but still made Yūsuke handsome. "So," said Yūsuke slowly, "Why are they fighting?"

"Something about an old enemy of the Senshi coming back," said Usagi.

"Not just an old enemy," piped up another blonde female, Aino Minako, a.k.a. Sailor Venus.

"Oh," questioned Yūsuke curiously.

"Hai," sang Minako, "This enemy was called Demande, and he has the hots for Usagi-chan here."

"Nani," questioned Yūsuke with a twitch in his eye once more.

"Oh yeah," said Minako, "When we Inners and Usa went to the future, he kidnapped her and almost brainwashed her, yet the mysterious thing happened."

"Oh," questioned Yūsuke as Usagi sweat-dropped.

"Mhm," nodded Minako, "Demande was blasted by this bluish light, letting Usagi to totally escape."

"Bluish light," questioned Yūsuke.

"Yup," chirped Minako, "The others think it was the Ginzuishō, demo as the Ai no Megami (Goddess of Love), I know that it was your energy that saved her, you two being together was just a technicality."

Yūsuke blinked at Minako's explanation before she was whisked away by Mizuno Ami, a.k.a. Sailor Mercury, to help her deal with the short-tempered Sailor Senshi. Yūsuke looked at Usagi as she blushed prettily at his look. He knew that his spirit gun was mostly like a bluish light, but being Usagi's protector even in the future like that? He didn't know if it was really his future self saving Usagi, but in hiding because they weren't even together when she had to face the Dark Moon family and the Doom Phantom. "So, even in the future, I'm your protector," said Yūsuke with a smirk, "Just like when we were kids."

"Did you want it to be anything else," questioned Usagi.

"Nah," said Yūsuke, "I'll take a guess that I'm also in your future."

"I would hope so," said Usagi, "Because I love you too much to let you go."

"You couldn't even get rid of me that easily, Usa," said Yūsuke with a smirk, "I'm going to be bugging you for your eternity, and with my demon blood, I can stay by your side for eternity."

"Don't you mean my Ginzuishō would be helping you stay by my side," teased Usagi.

"Let's agree to disagree," said Yūsuke, "Demo, for now, this boy is taking his girl out to eat."

"Hontō ni," questioned Usagi.

"Yeah," said Yūsuke, "It's been way too long without your lovely face to see every day."

"What about the others," questioned Usagi.

Yūsuke sweat-dropped as he stared at the arguing group. To be fair, he forgot about the Senshi and Team Urameshi arguing while concentrating on his Usagi. Yūsuke looked at Usagi who was staring at him in amusement. For once, the two were in semi-dating outfits, and Yūsuke was not going to miss this opportunity. Yūsuke leaned down and captured Usagi's lips with his in a passionate kiss before pulling away. He could see that Usagi's eyes glazed over and was inwardly proud that he had that affect on his girl. He then wrapped his arm around Usagi's shoulders and proceeded to lead her out of the park where he first saw the two teams. "Let's let them argue," said Yūsuke, "Besides, we have better things to do than stop them."

"And what would that be," asked Usagi.

"That date that I promised you before I left," said Yūsuke.

"The one where you proposed without a ring," questioned Usagi.

"Hey," said Yūsuke, "I'll get that ring someday, demo until then, let's just enjoy being with each other."

"I'll hold you to that, mister," said Usagi before her eyes softened, "Aishiteru, Yūsuke."

"Aishiteru, Usa," said Yūsuke, "Now, let's go on that date. I'm famished and in need for some milkshakes."

"Oh, Yūsuke," giggled Usagi as she snuggled close to him, "Only you would take me out for milkshakes."

"Hey," said Yūsuke, "Whatever works. We can also go to that amusement park that opened up… that Studio Ghibli one."

"Get me a Haku plushie," said Usagi, "And you've got yourself a deal."

"Deal," said Yūsuke cheerfully, "Now, next stop! Studio Ghibli Amusement Park!"
