Disclaimers:
I do not own Sailor Moon and those in the Marvel Universe. Sailor Moon is written by Naoko Takeuchi in manga form and aired as a series by Toei Animation and TV Asahi in Japan and by Kodansha Comics in North America. Marvel Cinematic Universe is honestly comprised of multiple people for its creation. Starting out as Marvel Comics in 1940, a lot of the shows started airing afterwards. For this one shot, I do not own the characters from Spiderman. Spiderman is created by Stan Lee and Marvel Comics in 1962 and became their first animated series through ABC in 1967 and their first live-action films through Marvel in 1977 before Sony bought it out in 1999, which would change to Sony and Disney as co-partnership for the franchise in 2016.
One brown haired, hazel eyed male, Peter Benjamin Parker, was fidgeting in his tuxedo. He couldn't believe that it was his time to marry the love of his life… one Serenity Serena Usagi Tsukino. For most of his life, Serena was one constant within his life, even with the ups and downs of dating other girls. She was the only girl he actually told about his secret identity safely as his other friends and family found out in dangerous ways. Peter could remember how he met Serena as well…
- Flashback –
"Here you go, champ," said an older man, Ben Parker, "Now, run along and be back when I call you, okay?"
"Alright, Uncle Ben," said Peter.
Little Peter and his Uncle Ben were at a nearby park so that Peter could finally get fresh air. Uncle Ben also wanted Peter to get rid of any energy he had before going back home to take a nap before dinner. Little Peter, on his part, looked at the park as he slowly walked around. He knew that he was left with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May due to his parents, but he couldn't help but miss them. His Uncle Ben told him that he would be living with them from now on until his parents came back. He just didn't know WHEN his parents were coming back. Little Peter, however, wasn't watching where he was going and bumped into someone. "Itai," muttered a feminine voice.
"I'm so sorry," said Peter, "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"
"I'm alright," said the feminine voice, "Demo, please stop flailing your arms. I'm not that hurt. Just fell."
Peter flushed slightly in embarrassment as he stopped flailing his arms in a bit of a panic. His hazel eyes looked at just who he bumped into and flushed more. There, on the ground, was a pretty, little girl with golden blonde hair tied up in two pigtails. She was also wearing pink overalls over a pink t-shirt. She was also staring at him with pretty, crystal blue eyes. The little girl pushed herself off of the ground and smiled at Peter. "Hi," said the girl, "Are you new to the park?"
"Y-You could say that," said Peter, "Uncle Ben thought this park would be better to play in than the other one."
"Other one," questioned the girl.
"Yup," said Peter, "He sometimes takes me to Central Park to play, but since Uncle Ben is getting old, he decided for the one near our house."
"Did you just move," questioned the girl.
"No," said Peter with a small chuckle, "Uncle Ben says that I have too much energy so he wants me to get as much energy out of my system."
"Oh," said the little girl, "Well, want to play with me?"
Little Peter looked a bit surprised by that. Sometimes, it was hard for him to have someone to play with at the parks he would play in. Sometimes, he would kind of be a bit bullied because of how small he was. Yet, looking at the little girl, he could see she and he were about the same height, albeit him being a bit taller than her by just a smidge. The little girl also took him by surprise since they just met, and she was inviting him to play with her. Smiling a cute, boyish smile, Peter agreed before… "My name's Peter," said Peter, "Peter Parker."
"Serenity Tsukino," said the girl, "But, since my name is too long, call me Serena! I'm sure my other name is going to be a bit harder for you to say."
"Serena," tried out Peter before he asked, "You have two names? And why do you think the other name is going to be a bit harder?"
"I do," exclaimed Serena, "One is my American name, which I told you, and the other name is my Japanese name!"
"Japanese," questioned Peter.
"Mhm," nodded Serena, "I'm originally from Japan, but since my parents have new jobs, we moved here to America."
"That's cool," said Peter enthusiastically.
- End Flashback –
"Here's the man of the hour," said a very happy Harry Osborn.
Harry was one of Peter's best friends since high school and was now his best man. After being the hero Spiderman and telling most of his friends, Harry didn't resent him for being said hero. Sure, his father was one of Spiderman's rogues, but Harry himself? He was there to help Peter, especially when high school was rearing its ugly head, along with his heroism. Harry, right now, was smiling wide because this was Peter's day… his WEDDING day. He was very surprised that Peter didn't get together with Mary Jane Watson, or MJ, but with the first girl who was there for him… Serena. "You ready to get hitched," questioned Harry.
"Y-Yeah," said a nervous Peter.
"Come on," said Harry, "Don't get cold feet now."
"Well," said Peter, "It's just that this is Serena we're talking about. She's the most beautiful and wonderful pure person who actually chose ME out of every guy she knows, and you know she knows a lot of guys."
"True," said Harry, "But, she did choose you, especially when she smacked me for wanting revenge on your Spiderman persona."
"She did," questioned a surprised Peter, "I didn't hear anything about that."
Harry grimaced inwardly. He remembered that his father was the rogue named Green Goblin. He remembered how he felt when he thought Spiderman was at fault for his father's demise, yet when he and Serena hung out that one time and he ranted about how Spiderman killed his father, Serena actually slapped his cheek before ranting about how it wasn't Spiderman's fault for his father being a bad parent. It wasn't his fault for not being the son his father wanted. She told him to stop projecting everything that was wrong in his life onto a hero that is trying his or her best. That actually got him to stop with his rage and revengeful plans against Spiderman, who he finally found out was his best friend. "Yeah," said Harry, "You wouldn't, but she did. She's a very fierce person when she wants to be, and don't get me started on HOW we met. I was surprised you actually knew a pretty girl like her."
"Hey," said Peter with a teased tone with a hint of aggression, "Get your own pretty girl. This one's mine."
Harry and Peter laughed when the two remembered that day in high school…
- Flashback –
"Hey Pete," said Harry.
"Hey," said Peter in acknowledgement.
Before the both could actually have a conversation, their homeroom teacher, Mr. Lee, came in. He started taking roll until the door was knocked. Mr. Lee looked at the class before stepping out, leading the students to talk amongst themselves. Harry, himself, was asking Peter if he was ever going to ask MJ out since he has known Peter having a crush on said girl. Peter, himself, was denying that he had feelings for their mutual girl friend, MJ, before Mr. Lee came back in. With Mr. Lee, a beautiful teenage girl came into the classroom. Harry could practically hear all the guys swooning over the girl. He, however, was surprised when he heard a gasp from his friend, Peter. "Sere," murmured Peter.
"Now, class," said Mr. Lee, "This is your new classmate for the rest of your high school year. Please make her feel welcomed. Mr. Lee turns to the girl. Please introduce yourself to the homeroom."
"Hello," said the new classmate, "My name is Serenity Tsukino, but please call me Serena."
"Very well," said Mr. Lee, "For homeroom, please sit next to Mr. Peter Parker."
For the rest of homeroom, Harry was trying to get Peter's attention, but he could tell that the new girl, Serena, took his best friend's attention away. He knew that this new girl was very beautiful, but to gain his best friend's attention when he knew Peter has a major crush on their mutual girl friend? Harry wonders if Serena bewitched his friend until the bell rang and everyone was going to their lockers to get books for their first period. He, however, was surprised to see Peter following Serena before he called out to her. "Serena," said Peter.
"Oh, now you welcome me," teased Serena.
"W-Well," said Peter who rubbed the back of his head, "I was very surprised to see you back in the States. I thought you were staying in Japan?"
"Yeah," said Serena who now had sad crystal eyes, "Well…"
"Is everything alright," questioned Peter, "Your parents? Shingo?"
"T-They are alright," said Serena, "Just a lot of things went wrong in Japan. Parents decided that I should head back to our State home since they never really gotten around in selling it."
"So, you're living alone in that house," questioned an incredulous Peter.
Before Serena could answer, Harry interrupted the two with a cough. Harry now knew that Peter knew this Serena, and quite well, if the two who were conversing together like old friends. He was sure that it was because Peter was gaining another crush on the new girl like all the other boys in their homeroom, but it wasn't the case as Peter greeted Serena familiarly. Harry had amused eyes when two pairs of eyes stared at him, one with sheepish hazel eyes and another with curious crystal blue eyes. "Going to introduce us, Pete," questioned Harry.
"Sorry," said Peter, "Anyways, Harry, meet Serenity Tsukino, my childhood friend. Sere, meet Harry Osborn, my best friend since the start of high school."
"Childhood friend," questioned Harry incredulously.
"Well," said Peter sheepishly, "She moved back to Japan since middle school. I didn't think that she would move back to the States, and on her own?"
"I also wanted it to be a surprise for Peter," said Serena.
"You two never kept in touch," questioned Harry.
Before Serena and Peter could answer, Peter was pushed away by his bully, Flash Thompson. Flash, on his part, saw Peter and Harry talking to a pretty girl that was WAY over Peter's league and decided that he should warn the girl away from him. He couldn't do anything about Mary Jane from hanging out with the loser Peter, but with this new girl? She probably didn't know who was at the top in Middleton High. So, being Flash, he went to the three and pushed Peter out of the way, making Peter slam a bit into the lockers. Serena was about to go over to Peter and see if he was fine, but she was held back by Flash. "Now that Parker is out of the way," said Flash, "Why don't you hang out with me and the rest of my crew?"
"Why should I go with a bully like you," questioned Serena with narrowed eyes.
"Bully," questioned Flash before laughing, "I'm just a knight saving you from a loser like Parker."
"He's not a loser," said Serena, "I see he's much better to hang out with than with a muscle-bound guy like you."
"He can't protect you," said Flash, "He's the weak, little Puny Park-"
Serena didn't let Flash finish as she actually slapped Flash across the face. Everyone, including the slapped Flash, stared at Serena like she was crazy to do that. Serena, on the other hand, had her eyes flash silver before turning back to crystal blue. She was very livid that this person had the audacity to call her best childhood friend names. This instance also reminded her times with one of her protectors that tried to make her something she was not with nicknames she certainly did NOT like. It wasn't long that Peter stepped up and calmly held Serena's hands in his. "Alright, Sere," said Peter who also saw Serena's eyes flash silver, "Please calm down. Flash isn't worth you being expelled or suspended on your first day here."
"If that a-ahō (fool) knows what's good for him," said Serena fiercely, "He'll stay far away from me."
"Of course," said Peter, "Come on. You can meet some of my other friends. Peter turns to Harry. You coming, dude?"
"Yeah," said Harry, "Yeah, I'm coming."
- End Flashback –
"Now, Pete," said Harry, "Let's get you hitched to your girl."
"I can't wait until you and MJ get hitched," teased Peter.
The two males then walked out of the room that was held for the husband-to-be to calm down before the wedding. With that, Peter was led to the center of the church the wedding was being held while Harry disappeared. He could see his mentor Tony Stark, a.k.a. Ironman, talking to his wife, Virginia Pepper Potts-Stark, while sitting next to Doctor Stephen Strange. He could see the Fantastic Four sitting with some of the X-Men, such as Wolverine. There was also his Aunt May who was sitting next to one of his Spiderman counterparts, Miles Morales. His ex-roommates and teammates, Ava Ayala (White Tiger), Sam Alexander (Nova), and Lucas Luke Cage (Power Man), were also in attendance and sitting around Aunt May. On the other side, he could see the various people that his Serena befriended or healed as her heroine self, Sailor Moon. He could also see the Sailor Senshi were in attendance. Yet, he DID glare at the plus-one person that Rei Hino, a.k.a. Sailor Mars, brought with her. He hoped that someone will make that plus-one person silent throughout the wedding. Shaking his head mentally, Peter heard the music start and see MJ walking down the aisle with Harry after Hotaru as the flower girl and Chibi Chibi as the ring bearer. Peter saw the next two pairings, Serena's best friend Ōsaka Naru with Umino Gurio and Daniel Danny Thomas Rand, a.k.a. Iron Fist, with Kakyū-hime, come down the aisle before his wife-to-be came out, taking his breath away. Serena, on her part, was dressed in a beautiful white dress that almost looked similar to her Neo-Queen Serenity outfit, but without the wings. Kenji Tsukino, Serena's father, was walking her down the aisle before giving his daughter away to Peter. "Dearly beloved," said the priest, "We are gathered here today to join Peter Benjamin Parker and Serenity Usagi Tsukino in holy matrimony…"
- Reception –
"Congratulations," exclaimed Naru.
"Thanks," said a happy Peter.
The reception went as well as it could be. Because this was the Tony Stark, Tony said that he will have the reception in the best and safest place to be: the Avengers Tower. Peter and Serena would have declined, but Tony wouldn't take no for an answer. He also told them that this was part of his wedding gift to his mentee and his now wife. Serena and Peter, with a lot of gratitude about where they can have the reception, did one thing that would make Tony Stark cry: heal Tony from his shrapnel danger. Now, Tony was healed and was throwing one of the best receptions in history, even if THIS was the second reception he ever helped create. Peter was walking through the throngs of people before bumping into… "Mamoru," said Peter coolly.
"Parker," said Mamoru as he turned to stare at Peter's wife, "She looks happy."
"I would hope so," said Peter, "Since it was me who helped heal her from you."
"I know," said Mamoru, "I know that she still loved me… a long time ago, but I knew that this was the best because I set her free to find her own love."
"Really," questioned a skeptical Peter, "Because to me, you didn't even fight to be with her, especially when you broke up with her by some weird dreams… again."
Mamoru sighed because Peter was right. He could justify that he set Serena free to pursue her own love life without the past to interfere, but he was also scared about a supposed future he would have with Serena. Don't get him wrong. He still loves Serena, but he could see that someone that wasn't him had her heart way before learning about their past. He was a jerk for lying about the dreams again and not fighting for her love, but it was better to have her happy than miserable… with him. Looking back at Serena's husband, he knew that Peter Parker was the one that would always hold Serena's heart in this lifetime. "Anyways," said Mamoru, "Congratulations."
"Thanks," said Peter perturbed, "And I'm glad you didn't object in the middle of the wedding."
"Nah," said Mamoru, "I wouldn't do that to you two."
"Of course," said Peter warily.
"Anyways, I think the groom is needed for the bouquet throwing," said Mamoru, "I'll leave her happiness in your hands."
With that, Mamoru disappeared into the crowd of people, making Peter frown more. Peter could hear Mamoru giving him his blessings to BE with Serena even after everything that happened. At least, Mamoru doesn't know that Peter was also a hero in his own right with many of his allies in attendance. Peter shook his head as he turned to see Serena throw the bouquet into the air, the bouquet landing in one Mary Jane Watson's hands. Peter smirked as he thought of a plan forming as he appeared behind Serena and wrapped his arms around her waist. "So, MJ," whispered Peter.
"Think you can throw the garter into Harry's hands," whispered back Serena.
"Leave it to me," whispered Peter.
"Of course," whispered Serena with a smile, "Spiderman."
"Hey," called out Motoki Furahata, "Let's get the garter throwing over with!"
"Here, here," agreed one alien named Fiore.
"Alright," said Peter, "Get ready all of you guys to catch that garter!"
Peter smiled as he led Serena to sit down. He, however, got a bit mischievous as he used his hands to caress Serena's inner thigh before gently pulling the garter off of her thigh. Serena pouted as her cheeks turned slightly red due to her being sensitive to Peter's touch. Peter was enthralled at how pretty Serena was with red cheeks before standing up and throwing the garter over his head. There, the garter sailed into the sea of guys before everyone saw it landing into Harry's hand. Harry, on his part, blinked before flushing at what was in his hand. "Get ready to be married to MJ, Harry," called out Peter cheekily.
"Peter," growled Harry lowly.
"Come on, dude," said Sam, a.k.a. Nova, "We all know that you have the hots for Mary Jane here. It's just a matter of time."
"Cut it out, Sam," said Harry.
"Indeed," said Danny, a.k.a. Iron Fist, "He'll get around to asking her in time."
"Not you too," groaned out Harry.
"You know that everyone, besides the girl, knows that you like her," said a smirking Miles.
While Harry was being heckled by the guys and some of Serena's friends, Peter and Serena were on the dance floor for their first wedding dance. The Three Lights, who were still popular with every female population, were playing their famous Nagareboshi He (Search For Your Love) song. Peter twirled Serena sometimes before settling his hands on her hips, her arms around his neck. He just knew that after all the battles he had as Spiderman, after all the battles she had as Sailor Moon, the two would go far within their new future together. "So, Sailor Moon," said Peter teasingly, "How do you like your wedding day?"
"One of the most magical days ever, Spiderman," said Serena honestly, "Especially being married to my first love."
"F-First love," questioned Peter in surprise.
"Un," nodded Serena shyly, "I… never did tell you that I had a crush on you since we were little kids."
"T-That long," murmured Peter, "I never knew."
"I didn't want to tell you because your friendship is one of the best things in my life," said Serena, "Even if you fell in love with MJ and Gwen Stacy."
"Hey," said Peter softly, "I may have loved the two, but I AM in love with you. I CHOSE you, Sere, and in all the other multiverses out there, I feel like I would always choose you… my first friend and now, my lover."
"I love you, Mr. Peter Parker," said Serena with a sweet smile.
"I love you too, Mrs. Peter Parker," teased Peter with love in his eyes.
As the two ended their dance, Peter couldn't help but take Serena's face between his hands and lean down to kiss her on the lips. With this kiss, Peter poured all of his love into it, Serena returning the gesture. Everyone who watched could see the radiant love aura that came from the two and smiled in happiness before… "Alright, you two," called out Seiya, "Get a room!"
"We already do," shouted back Peter, "Maybe you should leave if you don't want to watch!"
"You two," sighed Serena in exasperation before the wedding couple turned to Setsuna, a.k.a. Sailor Pluto, who was up on stage.
"As the wedding comes to a close and the couple leaves for their honeymoon," said Setsuna, "Let's give the two another congratulatory cheer before everyone gets on the dance floor."
"Here, here," shouted Tony as Bruce Banner, a.k.a. the Hulk, tried to take his alcohol away.
"Congratulations… Neo-Queen Serenity Tsukino-Parker and Neo-King Peter Tsukino-Parker of the New Moon Kingdom and Silver Alliance," said Setsuna into the mike, "May you two spread peace and love throughout our Solar System and beyond!"
"Say… WHAT," shouted Peter's friends and family, along with Serena's civilian friends.
"I guess we forgot about informing those that do not know," said Serena with a sweat-drop.
"Should we run," questioned Peter who was eyeing the heroes, including Harry and MJ.
"We should," said Serena with a nod.
"Alright," said Peter before… "So, the Mrs. and I are going to dip! Let's catch up with you all later!"
With that, Peter threw Serena into a bridal style hold and ran towards the balcony. The others were quick to chase the wedding couple until Peter saw fit to go through the balcony door and proceed to JUMP away from the entire wedding guests. A lot of screams came from those who did NOT know that Peter Parker was the Spiderman before it died down to seeing Peter SWINGING away with Serena in his arms. As everyone was stumped on the now running couple, Peter gently got down to street level before gently placing Serena onto the streets. "That was… exhilarating," said Serena with a big smile on her face.
"W-We can do most of that again," said Peter.
"During our honeymoon in Seoul," questioned Serena with a sparkle in her eyes.
"And that tour we wanted to go to in London," said Peter.
"I love you," said Serena.
"I love you too, dear," said Peter with a chuckle.
As the night continued to shine through, Serena and Peter kissed one more time before calmly walking to get a cab to get to the airport. They, however, would never know that the two landed in the same park the two met in as they ran away from their wedding guests due to the dark sky giving away no light. But, if they did, then they would have said that this was a life they had made in full circle. 'I hope you enjoyed the wedding from Heaven, Uncle Ben,' thought Peter as he tightened his hold onto Serena, 'I just know you would be proud of what Serena and I have accomplished… together.'
