Chapter Three:

After multiple delays produced by traffic, the car containing the Blades of Zababa-Symphogear-wielders, Halfeti Potter and the Priscilla Relic eventually reached its destination, a secluded and normally abandoned old airstrip in the middle of nowhere. At which a S.O.N.G-helicopter was waiting for the Symphogear-wielders, who had been talking on their phones/communicators to the higher ups in a language that Halfeti didn't understand but was able to recognize as Japanese thanks to having listened to the radio station that played Japanese music, particularly Kazanari Tsubasa, whenever she got the chance. Or rather, Kirika was the one talking on the phone/communicator as Shirabe mainly focused on driving outside of summarizing what her wife was saying.

"She's explaining to our bosses why we're bringing you along with requesting that they run through the necessary paperwork to make it possible as soon as possible."

"That makes sense… I guess?" Replied Halfeti, sounding (quite understandably) more than a little confused about what Shirabe summarized and therefore roughly what Kirika was saying. Despite being able to vaguely recognize Japanese, Halfeti couldn't actually understand it as the majority of her 'knowledge' of the language, as previously stated, came from listening to the radio station playing Japanese music when she got her chance before the Dursleys changed the station to whatever dull station playing the (in Halfeti's opinion) equally dull music aunt Petunia and uncle Vernon liked listening to. After a few more minutes of talking on her phone/communicator, Kirika finally switched languages to English.

"Finally! All green at HQ, next stop: Japan… for all three of us." Stated Kirika rather proudly, earning a fond expression from her wife and an expression that seemed to be somewhere in between excited and worried from Halfeti.

"Is this really happening? I'm leaving this stupid country behind?"

"You better believe it, Halfeti. You're leaving this country behind you."

"And as Kirika said, our next stop is Japan. Which means three things."

"What things?"

"One, you're going to have to learn how to speak, read and understand Japanese."

"That makes sense."

"Two, all three of us are going to have to find you a prosthetic."

"A what?"

"Prosthetic. More specifically a prosthetic leg to replace the lost half of the leg my beloved fool of a wife had to amputate."

"Hey!"

"Knowing the various connections we have thanks to our jobs, the prosthetic will probably be amongst the most advanced available."

"Which means what, exactly?" Asked Halfeti, curious about what Shirabe was talking about… despite only understanding about half of it.

"It means that you're likely to get a 'robo-leg' that feels practically identical to before you lost it."

"Cool."

"And three, it's possible that we'll ask some of our friends to watch over you on occasion, two of whom I believe you would recognize."

"Really? Who are they?"

"Tsubasa Kazanari and Maria Caden- uh, Shirabe?"

"Yes?"

"How do you say Maria's 'middle name'?"

"No idea. We've never really had to, so I never learned how to properly say it."

"Fair enough."

"Wait a minute! Are you saying that you two actually know the members of The Silver Swords!?" Asked Halfeti rather loudly, her surprise and excitement being very clear in her voice as she was a fan of the idol duo known as The Silver Swords.

"Know them? Puh-lease! Tsubasa is a close friend and colleague of ours and Maria is practically an unofficial older sister to Shirabe and I." Replied Kirika proudly.

"How!?"

"That… is quite the story. We can tell you on our flight to Japan."
