The flight from Great Britain to Japan by helicopter took a few hours and it was only when the helicopter entered Japanese airspace that Halfeti started to really pay attention to the outside, having found the repetitive sight of the ocean below the helicopter boring. Saying that the four to five year old girl was in awe of the Tokyo skyline was quite the understatement, which Kirika and Shirabe couldn't help but smile fondly about, remembering their own awe of the first time they themselves saw the Tokyo skyline. If it wasn't for the fact that everyone in the helicopter had their seatbelts firmly fastened, the wielders of the Blades of Zababa-Symphogears wouldn't have been particularly surprised if Halfeti would have pressed her face against the glass of the window.
While Shirabe remained rather stoic about it, her wife had no qualms about chucking good naturedly at Halfeti's excited behavior. Which predictably drew the aforementioned girl's attention to Kirika. Despite getting laughed at, Halfeti (unfortunately?) had the experience to realize that Kirika's laughter wasn't malicious, unlike the times when her cousin, Dudley, had laughed at her. Realizing she had been caught, Kirika quickly stopped laughing.
"Sorry for laughing. I just couldn't resist." Apologized Kirika, sounding worried that her laughter was taken the wrong way by Halfeti.
"It's fine. You weren't being mean about it." Replied the youngest passenger on the helicopter.
"How could you tell?"
"It was how you laughed."
"Fair enough."
"Hate to interrupt the two of you, but we're approaching the landing zone." Stated Shirabe, drawing the attention towards the helicopter landing pad that the helicopter was descending on, where Kirika and her wife spotted a familiar face waiting for their and Halfeti's arrival with a wheelchair. A well-endowed woman with white hair that occasionally appeared to be lavender in the right light and purple eyes. A fellow agent of S.O.N.G and Symphogear-wielder. More specifically the wielder of the Ichaival-Symphogear, Chris Yukine, who couldn't keep herself from smirking briefly before frowning as she spotted Halfeti getting bridal carried in Kirika's arms and the fact that the young girl was missing her right leg from below the knee, realizing why she had been ordered to meet the wielders of the Blades of Zababa-Symphogears and bring a wheelchair with her.
"Kirika, Shirabe, welcome back." Greeted Chris rather stiffly as the blond one of the aforementioned women placed Halfeti in the wheelchair… in Japanese, meaning that Halfeti didn't understand what the (in her opinion) pretty woman said. "Who's this?"
"Her name is Halfeti Potter and she's the only survivor of an Alca-Noise attack." Replied Shirabe in English.
"Okay? Is there a particular reason you're speaking English right now instead of Japanese?" Despite being the one who asked the question regarding the language, Chris switched languages without much thought, simply going with the flow of the conversation.
"I don't speak Japanese." Deadpanned Halfeti without missing a beat. "Who are you, pretty lady?"
"Fair enough and thank you. The name's Chris. Chris Yukine. I'm a colleague of these two."
"Just a colleague, Chris?" Asked Kirika with an expression that Halfeti couldn't quite place.
"She doesn't need to know what I do with my free time. Do I assume correctly that you two won't be… available for… group activities for a while?"
"Most likely not. Sorry, Chris."
"Don't worry about it. I can always ask Hibiki and Miku or Tsubasa and Maria if they're in the mood."
"In the mood for what?" Halfeti asked innocently, prompting the three adults to stop their conversation and look at each other for a moment before stating in unison:
"You'll understand when you're older."
"Anyway, we have a lot to do and our first order of business is getting you to a hospital and get your health checked before we can even start acquiring you a prosthetic and started on physical therapy." Stated Shirabe in a very serious tone. "Something that can take up to a few months or even years to complete, which I believe everyone would prefer to get moving as soon as possible."
"Agreed."
"Death!"
"Kirika!"
"Sorry. Couldn't help myself."
