Ben 10 Ultimate Hero EP 19: Tourist Trap

I don't own anything except my OCs.

Intro:

A green glowing, steel pod was flying through space, hurtling towards earth as it crashed, making a huge green flash.

The camera zooms out from the glowing symbol on the Ultimatrix as Ben looks up close at it.

He then activates it while smirking at the camera, raising his hand high and slapping it down on the core.

The background turns all green as Ben morphs into Four Arms, who pumps his upper fists while cracking his lower ones with a smirk.

A white number appears on the left side, starting at 1.

"Ben 10!"

2: Heatblast ignites 2 fireballs in his hands.

"Ben 10!"

3: XLR8 zooms into the right.

4: Diamondhead swaps his right arm across as it turns into a blade.

"Ben 10!"

5: Cannonbolt uncurls and poses.

"Ben 10!"

"Ben 10!"

6: Upgrade stretches out of his puddle form.

7: Grey Matter hops off the 7 and lands into a crouch, giving a thumbs up and a smile.

"Ben 10!"

8: Water Hazard slides in on his water blasts and raises his fists.

"Ben 10!"

9: Wildvine extends his legs and stretches out his right fingers while holding seeds in his left one, chucking them offscreen.

10: Big Chill phases through the number and floats briefly before zooming near the camera.

"Ben 10!"

Big Chill's head turns back into Ben's as it rotates.

The camera zooms out to reveal Max and Gwen by his side.

Ben gave a low-five to his grandfather as Gwen crossed her arms and shook her head playfully with a smile.

The 2 then ran off-screen, making Ben run towards the camera with a determined look.

He then froze as his aliens appeared in heroic poses on each of the kids' sides, 5 on each side, just as the title appeared on a black background with green rays emerging from the title.

Ben was making faces in the window of the RV at a boy who was also making faces at him in a car. "Uhh… Ben, are you sure you want to keep doing that? You ever hear the expression, 'Keep making that face and it might just freeze', right?" Gwen questions out with an exhausted tone at her cousin's antics. Ben then notices the other boy he was 'facing off' was eating a burger quicker than usual, turning and showing the chewed-up contents as Ben groans out. "Oh, man! The Seafood Special! Time to bring out the secret weapon." He tells the kid to 'wait a minute' and ducks down, making a flash of green light as Gwen groans out and facepalms. "Oh, no..."

Big Chill then pops up and hisses at the window with his open mouth, making the kid drop his food in stun and scream out, making his father notice and freak as they drive away. Big Chill was laughing his wings off as Gwen frowned. "There is such a thing as taking a joke too far." Big Chill notices the seat and quickly touches the spot her cousin is sitting, freezing it mildly as he retracts the cousin cries out in shock from the sudden chill and glares at her cousin. "Nonsense! Funny is funny."

"Uhh… Ben? We got a problem." Max stops the RV as Big Chill is flung to the front. "Good! You're in hero mode. Because we need one now, look!" They both gazed out the windshield at a pile-up of 2 crashed trucks, One of the drivers tried to open the door but was stuck, crying for help as the fire started igniting the oils. "The door's stuck! And he can't get out!" A man cries out. "If that fire catches onto the Propane tank, that truck is going to be a rocket to the moon!" "Hero time!" Big Chill phases out and flies into action!

Big Chill hovers above as he grins out. "Good thing I picked the right alien for the job!" He breathes out his frost breath that puts out all the fires and uses his strength and claws to pry the roof of the truck open, pulling the driver out as he takes him and places him gently on the ground in front of the crowd. "Frost can save lives." "Ahhh! It's that bug creature that ate that kid!" "Oops! Got to fly!" Big Chill took off in response.

Later, the RV is back on the road. "Where are we going, Grandpa?" Ben asks out as Gwen notices some signs. "'You'll have a ball with it! Next exit.' Grandpa? What is 'it'?" But Max kept smiling as he could barely contain himself. "No, hints! I've been planning this stop all summer." As the kids were confused about what Max was, the RV came to a stop as Max got off the driver's side and opened the side door. "Now, close your eyes, and don't open them until I say so." The kids stepped out in response as they stood still, just to hear their grandfather speak out.

"Okay! Open them! Taa-daa! Welcome to Sparksville!" The kids saw a normal-looking town that strangely had some giant figures on top of buildings. Ben was confused as was Gwen. The 2 look around as they walk into their own. "Is this place great or what?" "I'm going with what..." Ben mumbles out. "Come on, kids! What's more exciting than the world's largest fishbowl?!" "Pretty much everything." Ben crossed his arms in response.

"As the Mayor of Sparksville, I welcome you." A man with a blue suit and a deadpan look and voice spoke as he walked up. "As seekers of wonder." The man left as the group was confused. "I know you are excited to see 'it'. So, I'll go check us in!" Max gave them tickets and left with a smile as the kids looked at each other. "Next time we pick the stop?" "Next time we pick the stop."

The 2 stood at a ticket booth as Ben rang the bell. "Tickets, please." "Aren't you the mayor?" Ben hands the tickets over to the 'Mayor'. "He who wears the crown is burdened by many hats, sign." The 2 enter through the rotating pole, unsure what to think of the man's words. "Mind the signs." The 2 went on a picture-taking spree, acting goofy and checking out many of the attractions Sparksville has to offer. They eventually stopped at a barn. "Through these doors is the weirdest, wildest thing to ever find its way to Sparksville." The mayor opens the doors as they walk in, passing all sorts of signs.

Ben rants to his cousin. "Please tell me this is 'it' because I can't stand 'it' anymore! 'Do not touch it.'" "'Do not Photograph it?'" "'Do not use batteries or other electrical equipment near it.'" They stopped at a sign that said 'This is it!' Both kids wait with baited breaths until it is revealed to be a large rubber band ball. "That's it?" Gwen asked out as the boy groaned. "A ball made out of giant rubber bands." "And who knows what secrets lay inside?" Ben snarks at the mayor with crossed arms. "Let me guess; More rubberbands?" "Stay as long as you want. Mind the signs."

He left as Ben exclaims as Gwen spoke out. "This place is full of it! We've been punked!" "I know, right? Why would Grandpa think this place is so exciting?" Ben then gets an idea for payback. He walks behind the ball as the girl notices. "Ben... What are you doing?" FLASH The girl turns around to see Four Arms lift the large ball above him. "One good prank deserves another, don't you think?" "You know Ben... You might be onto something. What do you have in mind?" "The world's biggest booger!" Four Arms grin as Gwen chuckles. She then noticed he was juggling the large ball and she got worried. "Ben! Be careful with it!" "Relax, Gwen! I can lift this thing with 3 hands tied behind—" Suddenly, the large ball slips out of his grip and bounces out through the roof. "Uhh... Oops."

The ball smashed a Hot Dog cart as the 2 went outside, just to see it bounce off a Lama statue and smash into Four Arms, crashing into a wall and breaking the largest pyramid of playing cards and lies there. The 2 approached as Gwen got upset. "Ben! Look at what you did! We're going to get in trouble!" "Don't get your shorts in a twist! I'll just put everything back the way it was, and no one will know. No problem!" Only to time out as Gwen groans out in dread as Ben leans on the ball. "Okay… Maybe a little problem." Unbeknownst to the 2, a small charge of red electricity seeps from the watch onto the attraction.

"What are we going to tell, Grandpa?" Gwen asked her cousin as they both stood outside the Motel. "Nothing! We just pretend we don't know anything about it." "Oh, like that's going to work." They opened the door as they noticed everything was sideways, including the beds as Max gestured to the place. "Hey there! Is this place a riot or what?" "Why? What did you see?!" Ben quickly stomps on her foot as she yips in pain. "What Gwen means is that the room looks great, Grandpa! Can't wait to check out the bathroom."

Back at the rubber band ball, the electricity starts building until it zips around the power lines and a figure and blows through the sign, revealing a black and yellow humanoid, a small battery-like creature that has 2 fingers and a thumb, a yellow stripe on the front and back of his body with a plus and negative sign on his back and has streams of yellow electricity emitting form it's top and eyes, yellow and black bolts on its arms. The being cackles with its white, jagged teeth as it zaps into town.

The next day, the kids were sleeping in, peacefully quiet until Max's voice was heard. "What in blazes… Kids! Wake up!" They both stumbled out of bed as they groaned, gathering their bearings. "He knows! We are so busted! We're going to have to come clean." "And here I thought you were the smart one." Ben rolls his eyes in response. "Don't admit anything until they have absolute proof, okay?" "Benjamin! Gwendolyn! Get out here, now!" Max cried out as Gwen had a look of dread. "Gwendolyn... We are so busted."

But as they exited, they were supposed to find the town more wrecked than the rubber band ball. "Whoa! What happened here?" "Don't know. Looks like a tornado tore through here, overnight." Max answers the girl. "Tell me about it," Ben mumbles as he looks around. Gwen whispers. "The Rubberband ball didn't do all of this." "I think it's pretty clear who's responsible for these juvenile acts." "Juvenile? Are you suggesting that—" Max was interrupted as the Mayor answered him. "Oh, I wasn't talking about these younglings." "You weren't?" The family spoke at the same time as Max glanced at the grandkids as they smiled out. "But… If the kids didn't, who did?"

Suddenly, the little creature zaps in front of them, popping all over Ben and Gwen while they are confused at the strange being as it poses all over. It then pulled Gwen's shirt over and also pulled down Max's pants, making them scramble to fix them. Ben felt a tap on his shoulder as he looked at the being, smiling at him and raspberry him as it started laughing out loud and flying away. "Uh… What was that?" "Megawatt." "Mega-what?" Ben asked out at the Mayor.

"Correct. Normally wrapped up tight inside of 'it', until last night." The kids glanced at each other in response. "Some say it's a ball of lightning, come alive. Others think it's a static clang, run amok. Tough to say." "Maybe it's an alien?" Gwen theorizes that the Megawatt may be some sort of alien creature the Tennysons haven't seen before as the mayor raises an eyebrow. "Alien? That's just plain cookey talk."

But the debate is interrupted as the Megawatt zaps into a soda machine. It shakes violently while surging power as the boy asks. "What's it doing?" "It eats electricity. The more it gobbles, the more powerful it gets." Suddenly, sodas shot out like projectiles as the family ducked and the mayor stood still. "It also got a dangerous sense of humor." They all took cover behind a car as Max spoke to the mayor. "You left that thing in a rubber band ball all this time? Isn't that dangerous?" "Not so long as people minded the signs." They glanced at the kids as they whistled and looked away. "We'll discuss this later. Right now, how do we stop this thing, Mr. Mayor?" Max asked out. "'We'? You let it out, you catch it."

The Tennysons all walk around, trying to find the Megawatt. "Maybe we can lure it out. Like with batteries or something?" Gwen suggests. The Megawatt then appears on a light post and goes down and gives Max a flying wedgie! "GAAHH! That's not funny! It's just painful!" Ben dials in his glove as he cries out. "Don't worry, Grandpa! I know just the hero for this troublemaker!" FLASH

Black skin with digital lines spreads from the watch to his head, making his features disappear and replaced with a single green eye ring as Upgrade pumps his arms.

"Why pick Upgrade?" "It's complicated. You wouldn't understand." But Gwen figured it out as she spoke with a smirk. "Watch didn't turn you into what you wanted, right?" "I don't want to talk about it." Upgrade narrows his eye ring. The Megawatt then releases Max and zips to a Giant Ketchup bottle, making it boil and erupt as the lid knocks off the chicken head and sends it crashing down and people run in a panic.

The Megawatt laughs loudly at its jokes, only to notice Upgrade is rolling the rubber band ball towards it. "All right, Twinkle toes! Time to go back to where you came from!" But the idea didn't work as the rubber bands were snapping off and breaking things from the force as Gwen cried out. "UPGRADE! Whose side are you on?! You're just helping the Megawatt wreck the town!" Upgrade notices the laughing Megawatt and gets so angry at it; his eye ring flashes green as it fires a powerful beam of green light as it dodges.

"Whoa! I forgot about my laser eye! Not so funny now, huh!?" The Megawatt merely laughs again as Upgrade tries to grab it, but it keeps zipping all over the place! Upgrade fires his eye beam a few times but misses as well. He manages to land a hit with his beam, knocking the Megawatt down as he slides into a puddle and then entangles the creature. "Gotcha!" He narrows his eye ring, but the Megawatt cries out as it releases a burst of electricity, causing Upgrade to be electrocuted painfully and crash into a wall, sliding down as he reforms and rubs his head. "Ohhh…. Note to self: Don't touch electrical beings when you're the alien made of living metal!"

"There's got to be a way to ground that electric devil!" Max spoke out as Gwen got an idea. "That's it! Thanks, Grandpa!" "For what? Gwen?" Max chases after his granddaughter. Upgrade got angry at the laughing Megawatt as he cried out. "That's it! I'm pulling the plug on this guy and his pranks!" He grabs a Manhole cover and pulls back, throwing as hard as he can. "Hey, sparky! Catch!" The flying metal disc slices the thing in the middle, making him narrow his ring. "Oh, yeah!"

Only to be surprised when it turns into 2 Megawatts! The 2 noticed and laughed at each other. "Okay… These guys can clone themselves. Not my best idea!" BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH "Not good." Ben spoke out, glancing at himself as the Megawatts zapped his feet as they stung. One then pulls his shirt over his head as he struggles while the 2nd one gives him a wedgie. "HEY!" A truck horn made them back off as Max cries out from behind the wheel. "Leave my grandson alone!" Ben fixes his clothes as he is pulled into the truck and it drives away. "What's going on?" Ben asked as Max answered. "We're giving these sparkplugs a science lesson they'll never forget!"

The Megawatts chased after the truck. "Hey, Mega-weirds! Take this!" Gwen cries as she pulls the lever, making the truck drop a huge thermometer as the Megawatts slam into it, channeling it into the ground as the Tennysons climb out. "Whoa… What happened?" "Simple, we just used the world's largest thermometer as a lightning rod. Thanks to good old brain power." Gwen smirks at Ben, only for the mayor to mention. "Course the ground is just a big conductor."

"What does that mean?" "It means they're just zipping around underground until they find a way back to the surface!" Gwen cries out in horror. Suddenly, every pay phone starts ringing all at once while electricity comes off them. "They're in the underground phone lines!" Max spoke out with wide eyes. Suddenly, a whole bunch of Megawatts zapped out and cackled loudly as they zipped around. "Oh, man! And I thought just 2 of those things were trouble!" Ben spoke out. The Megawatts then deflated tires on the cars and then made a hydrant burst as they blew up some power boxes as well.

Ben smirks at his cousin as she knows the expression. "Ben Tennyson... Don't even say it." "Hey! I'm just glad for once, I didn't screw up and destroyed a town!" Ben grins out, even when a car explodes as Gwen rolls her eyes up in dread, knowing her cousin will never live this down. The Megawatts then made a sonic scream that made everyone cover their ears, just as a container filled with giant toothpicks broke as they fell toward the crowd. "Everyone, move!" Grandpa Max cries out as they clear out while the toothpicks miss the mayor, who doesn't even flinch. "There go the world's largest toothpicks. Oh, the humanity." Max glares at the retreating Megawatts. "Those things idea of good, clean fun will have us pushing up daisies!"

Gwen whispers to her cousin. "I think now is a good time to call on some alien help, cousin?" "Trying! The watch is still charging." They then noticed a Megawatt was on top of some wreckage as it said something to the others. The Megawatts then went off as Ben scratched his head in confusion. "Where did they go?" Max spoke out with a dread feeling as he adjusted his hat. "I don't know… But I don't think it's good."

Just then, some shaking happened! "I got a bad feeling about this," Gwen spoke out as something crashed out of a building, revealing a giant robot made from the Planetarium exhibit! "The Megawatts must have used their powers to bring the Planetarium to life!" Max cries out as they run towards his RV. "Come on! We'll head them off in—" Only to be surprised to see the Rust Bucket's tires were gone and graffiti on it. "Oh, jeeze…" "'U am lame?' Talk about weak!" Ben smirks out as Gwen comments. "And don't even get me started on their grammar and spelling."

The Mayor then states as they watch the robot walk off. "I reckon they're heading towards the big hydroelectric dam to power up. And then they'll wipe out the next town and next town and so on. They think it's funny. Yep, Megawatts have a twisted sense of humor." As Gwen looks around, she then notices the giant fish bowl and gets an idea. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Ben smirks as he holds out his glove. "Yeah! Beat those pranksters at their own game!" The device beeps as the core pops up and shows a certain flame alien icon.

At the Dam, the robot kept punching and making cracks in the wall, only for a massive stream of flames to rain on it, forcing it back. It glances up to see Heatblast on top. "This is your only warning! Knock off the funny business! Or I'm going to fry your twinkling butts!" The robot screeches out as it slams on the wall, making water burst out of a hole as it shakes Heatblast starts running down the wall and uses his flames to fly to safety. He landed and saw the crack in the wall. "Got to seal that up as well!" He fires a stream of flame that seals up the cracks, making him glance back at the retreating machine and leap up high. "I'm not done with you, yet!" He creates a massive fireball that distorts the machine as he lands away from it.

"Hey! Megawimps! Do you want to see something funny? You're all wet!" Gwen cries out as she sprays with her hose, douching the machine, making it get annoyed as she runs away from a stomp. "What the matter?" Heatblast cries out as he makes a massive fireball above him. "Can't take a joke?!" He flung it and blew up the robot as the Megawatts appeared. "You got burned by that one! My advice: Quit while you're behind!" The beings charged at him as Heatblast merely used smoke to cover himself and landed near a tarp object. "Miss me, doofus!" He waves at them with a smirk as the Megawatts screeched in anger as they charged at the hero, who went under the trap.

Max emerges and smiles. "Way to go, Ben! They took the bait!" He pulls it off to reveal the Megawatts were stuck in the largest Fishbowl. Heatblast then breathes fire on the top, sealing the glass dome as Gwen smiles with crossed arms. Heatblast taunts at the Megawatts. "Na, Na!" As he gave a raspberry, the elder spoke out. "With a non-conductive glass bowl sealed up tight, Sparky and his friends won't be causing trouble." "Looks like Science saved the day." BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP FLASH "With some help from Science Fiction." Ben smirks at Gwen as he leans on the glass.

The town is being repaired as the Mayor spoke to the Tennysons. "You folks done right by us." "I sure hope this isn't a setback for your town." "More like a giant step forward." The man shrugs as he pulls off a tarp. "Thanks to this newest attraction, we'll be raking them in. Biggest lightbulb." Ben smiles as inside the glass container were the Megawatts. "So long as folks mind the signs." The man left as Ben noticed one. "'In case of emergency, do not break the glass.' Huh?" Ben merely shrugs as he walks to the fixed Rust Bucket. "I'm done with pranks for a while." "You know, Ben. There is a time and a place for a practical joke. Just saying." Max states as Ben nods. The kids climbed up the stairs and entered the RV as it took off, heading towards the next stop on the road trip across the USA.
