Ifalna was on the verge of death. She was shot almost everywhere on her body. Her body was full of blood now.
Shinra Soldiers were so cruel. Fortunately, she found a good person to take care of her daughter. Otherwise she wouldn't be able to die peacefully.
"Please live on for me my dear daughter. Aerith"
She was about to die and when her life was about to end a golden door materialized near her. It called for her to open it.
As a Centra. She could communicate with the planet.
The planet used its life force to heal her for her to be able to stand and open the door.
The planet pleaded for her to open that door. That door was not only for her hope to survive but for every living being on the planet too.
She gritted her teeth. She thought of Aerith, her daughter. If she had a way to survive then. She would do anything for her reunion with her daughter once again.
She opened the golden door with all her might. She then heard someone speak right into her mind. Her voice was very alluring.
[Welcome to Jaune Multiversal Convenience Store. The place where you can buy and sell everything in the vast multiverse.]
[You will survive for as long as you are in the store and please look after the owner. When the times come you will be able to reunite with your daughter with his help.]
Then she saw a group of young women eating sandwiches. She wanted to ask for their help, but her connection with the planet got cut off after she went through the door.
Everything went black after that.
…
"Ugh…My head"
Ifalna tried to open her eyes. She felt sore all over her body. but she didn't feel hurt anywhere anymore.
She had great difficulty trying to get up from her bed. and when she finally sat up. She began to look around in panic.
Then it settled on her that she was saved by a group of young women. She sighed in relief. She was still alive. and she had a chance to meet her daughter once again.
"Oh you wake up already. That's good news! Please wait a moment, let me check on you a little bit."
She heard a young man's voice. He might be the doctor that young women called to help her.
He came near her and did something to the device that connected her to a computer. She didn't feel surprised or anything. No, she felt scared of it. She had a very bad experience with being connected to a computer.
She looked at him carefully, She was afraid that he might do something to her like Shinra did to her and her daughter.
To her relief he didn't do any of that. and when she was relaxed she then felt something from him.
'What a ginormous life force!'
This was the first time she met with someone with such enormous vitality.
He could rival those huge monsters that Shinra needed a whole company of soldiers to take down.
Those monsters were not an intelligent life form if they could fight with their brain then. a company of soldiers might not be enough.
'Maybe he could stand against that man.'
She shook her head at such a thought. As she saw him, he wasn't a fighter but a doctor.
"Are you feeling unwell anywhere? As I check your status. You just have some muscle pain due to staying in a lying position for a long time."
"How…How long I've been unconscious."
"Two days"
Ifalna sighed in relief. She met someone who fell unconscious for years before they woke up. She was scared if she was the same case as them.
"T-Thank you for the help you gave me doctor. as for the treatment cost I-"
The young man stopped her from speaking about treatment any further. He smiled kindly at her and spoke to her with gentleness.
"Oh you don't need to pay me anything. I knew you didn't have money on you and even if you pay me with your money. I can't use it because in this world we don't use gil as currency. So you don't need to"
The young man spoke like she was not on her planet then it hit her.
"Wait a minute… This is not my world!"
And that was when the Centra knew that she had been sent to another world!
