I awake in a smoldering crater out in some large grassy fields. The sun shines in my eyes as I groggly sit up. I get to my feet and knock dirt off of my clothes before looking down. When I look down my shirt, a large black eye tattoo looks back at me as if animate. The iris of the eye is a spiral of tally marks turning into the pupil with large tendrils stretching out across my torso.
I climb out from the large crater to the edge, where I stand facing a long drit road. I begin walking down towards the end of the road while shaking dirt out of my hair. As I continue down the path, I notice two figures walking towards me from the other direction. One of the figures has on a large flowing purple robe with some kind of red mask on. The other figure is covered in heavy black armor while wielding a large axe on their shoulder.
As we walk by each other, the armored figure's arm bumps mine. I hear an angered growl as they raise their weapon.
"Filthy human!"
I stare into her eyes, unmoving and unflinching. The other figure quickly raises their gloved hand before speaking.
"Enough, Albedo." He commands. Albedo lowers her weapon and the other figure adresses me."Apologies, traveler. You look weary from your travels.. Here."
The man offers me a small bag of coins that I grab a little hesitantly. I nod and give him a smile. "It's okay sir. Thank you for your hospitality."
The man and his companion walk past me and I turn to continue in the direction I was headed in initially. I walk for what seems like miles until I see a small town ahead. It is a small farming village from the look of it. Some homes, a small market place with a tavern at the center. Curiously, a large concrete cathedral sits on top of a hill towering over the village.
I make my way to a stone tavern with the bag of coins the man gave me in hand. I open the door to the sight of a bunch of rowdy drunk farmers singing and laughing loudly as they drink. They all seem to ignore me as I walk in. So I walk over to the bar where a gruff man stands, cleaning glasses. Another man dressed in a tuxedo with white hair stands at the bar as I walk up.
The bar tender looks at me with a curious look before chuckling and setting his glass down.
"Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes big guy. You must be new to town."
I nod and rest my arms on the bar. "I sure am. Get me what ever you got on the tap, you greasy bar monkey."
I flip a couple coins onto the counter. The bar tender gives me a stern look. After a few moments, he let's out a hardy laugh and sets a pint on the counter.
"I like your style, stranger. Well welcome to Kolsch. The best town a dead beat bartender could ever hope for. Name's Brock, by the way."
I scratch my chin before taking a swig of some pretty low quality ale. "Dead beat is right. This ale taste like orc piss."
Brock gets a mean look. "Don't insult a man's ale. That's like insulting his wife. It may not taste the best, but it'll knock you back before you can finish your first pint."
"Fair enough." I reply with another swig. "As far as dead beat... Does Kolsch have any work for dead beats?"
Brock chuckles as he picks up another glass. "Of course. Nothing we appreciate more than hard workers 'round here. Your best bet right now is to ask those freaks at the church."
I raise my eyebrow. "Oh? What's their deal?"
He breaths on the glass and admires the shine in the light. "Nothing. They just give me the creeps. But they are always hiring extra hands for logging and agriculture. They do give good deals ingredients too."
I nod and finish my pint. "Okay, I'll go have a word then."
I turn and begin to walk out. I hear the bartender call out behind me. "Careful! Don't let those loons kidnap you and turn you into on of them!"
I laugh a bit and wave back at him before heading outside. I proceed up the hill until I come up to the from of the cathedral style building. The building is massive with giant stained glass windows. Two large banners fly outside the two wooden doors. The banners, doors, and windows have one large eye in the center of them.
Two people stand in front of the doors wielding spears, one male and one female. They have black hoods on with blind folds with an eye in the center of the blind folds. They have heavy black breast plates with leather pants and boots. Blood streaks down from their eyes under the blind folds as they stand completely motionless. They don't even acknowledge me as I approach and open the large wooden doors.
The doors swing open, creaking loudly out into the room. Dozens of people sit on their knees in a praying position towards a man at the end of the room. The man is standing at a podium wearing dark black and red robes with an eye on his chest. A dark red obelisk glows as he speaks out loudly to the crowd.
"Today, brothers and sisters. Ladies and gentlemen. Men and women. We pay our respects to the most powerful God, whom hasn't visited Yggdrasil for thousands of years. The lord of destruction and war. He is important to the very fabric of existence.
His contributions to all the worlds is unmistakable. Not just in Yggdrasil, but in all realms. He has played a role in guiding all beings, mortal or non. May he one day bless us with his presence once again and lead us far and above the non believers!"
The crowd clasp their hands together and saying Amen. They all begin to get up and walk away as I approach the man with his back to me. The man turns around, bumping into my chest. He looks up at me in surprise for a moment before composing himself.
"Oh. Hello good sir. Rather large individual aren't you? How can I help you this fine day?"
"I'm new around and I hearding your people need workers. I don't exactly have much right now."
The man nods with a finger on his chin. "Indeed. We can absolutely use someone of such... physic. Go talk to the loggers outside. They'll have plenty of work to do."
I say my thanks to him and head outside. I find the lumberjacks he mentioned outside at the edge of town. I walk up and introduce myself to them. They chuckle before handing me an axe.
"Welcome aboard. We need to clear out this section by the end of the day."
I look at the axe then toss it to the ground. I walk over to the a massive tree routed in the dirt. I grip the base with my hands and pull the tree straight out from the ground. The loggers look at me completely stunned for a moment.
"You uh... work out alot?" One asks with a nervous laugh.
I shrug. "Sometimes."
For the next few days, I sleep in stables in town before waking up and clearing out giant sections if wood for the loggers. After finishing a day of work, I take off my shirt to wipe sweat from my forehead. I take a deep breath and look over at two of the loggers. They look at me petrified, their hands and legs trembling. They drop their axes as one gets on his knees.
"Go get the lady! Tell her it's an emergency!" One yells to the other, who sprints off towards the church. "Please, my lord! Forgive us! We did not understand it was you!"
I look at him with a puzzled look. "What?"
He continues groveling at my feet. "I beg you my magnificent lord! I have a family! It was a honest mistake!"
As I was about to question him further, a bright light shines down on the ground a few feet from me. Someone slams into the ground so hard it shakes the earth. A female extends her angelic wings, causing the whole area to burst into white flames and singing my clothes. She rises to her feet before suddenly hovering to me and starring into my eyes.
She has a beautiful white dress on with the hips open, flowing white hair and bright white eyes. She has large gold cross made from fabric on her chest and drapping from her wirst that glow faintly.
She continues starring at me for a few more moments before letting out a light gasp. She tackles me to the ground and tries to kiss me while I hold her head back.
"Oh Lord I knew you'd come back to us one day! I never been so excited! I'm so excited I can't help myself..."
She speaks so fast I can't understand her as I struggle to push her head back. I look to the side to see the priest standing next to us. He timidly clears his throat to speak.
"M-My lady... Perhaps give the lord some s-space?"
The lady stops and looks over at the priest who began cowering back. She jumps up with fire in her eyes, casting her shadow over him as her wings erupt into flames.
"YOU! HOW DARE YOU HAVE THE LORD WORKING IN THE FIELDS!"
The sky tears open, revealing all the stars and planets out in space. She brings up her hand and light rushes from the sun to her hand. A large brilliant sliver sword materializes, glowing with bright white flames. I quickly jump to my feet and grab her hand.
"It's okay! I asked him to let me help."
The priest nods adamantly with his hands clasped. The lady looks back at me and blushes heavily. The sky returns to normal as the fire on her simmers down.
"My a-apologise lord. I acted hastily. I should have known you are so humble that you'd help the peasants with their work."
"Of course. I just needed the excercise."
I laugh and release her hand. She turns back to me with her hands together and at a slight bow.
"My lord, it is an honor to witness your return. Please, follow me. We must prepare the ceremony for your return to Yggdrasil!"
"Huh? Uh... lead the way, My lady." I say, a bit confused.
The lady leads me inside the church towards the back. As we approach, two walls with ancient carvings split open. They reveal a path leading deep down under the church. After going miles and miles underground, we reach a stone room with two massive doors made from pure gold. The lady gestures towards them with a pleasant smile.
"Your chambers, My lord. I will send Kiki and Kai in to assist you if you need anything."
I nod and push open one of the doors. I look inside to see dozens of beautiful women inside. Sleeping on a massive mattress, splashing water at each other, doing each other's hair among other things. They all immediately look over and all their expressions light up.
They all rush over to me, tugging on my hands and clothes.
"Oh my... The lord has graced us with his presence! He's even cuter than I thought! I want to bath with him first!"
"No, I'm first! I've been so bored recently!"
"No it's my turn with the lord first! I am the sexiest after all."
I hold up my hands and laugh a bit nervously. "Whoa now! Apologies ladies. But I'm a bit busy right now."
They all sigh and giggle playfully. "Awww. Understood, lord. Call us if you need us. Anytime."
They all look at me before giggling again and exiting my chambers. I take a good look at the chambers with a bit of awe in my expression. The room is absolutely massive, a large canopy bed with purple and gold curtains. Next to it is the entrance to a massive wardrobe filled with different clothing. On the other side sits an entrance to a large bath house.
A big gold circluar fountain sits in the center of the room in front of me, pouring forth a dark red liquid that is extremely fragrant. I touch the flow of the liquid and lick my finger. It is possibly the sweetest and most delicious wine I have ever tasted. I head over to the bath house and strip down naked before sinking into a pool sized sana style bath. After bathing for awhile, I get up and head back towards the door to grab a towel hanging on the wall.
I grab the towel and begin drying my hair as I turn towards the door. I bump into two females I that stand on the other side of the door, startling me. I jump back and cover myself with the towel.
"Jesus!"
The two females stand calm and look at me emotionlesy. They wear typical maid attire, long black stockings and dresses in black and white. One has long flowing blue hair as the other has red hair. They hold their hands together down together then bow in unison. The blue haired maid speaks graciously to me as they look at the ground.
"It is a pleasure and honor to meet you, my lord. My name is Kai..."
"And my name is Kiki. We are here to serve..."
"In anyway we can, my lord. We are yours..."
"To use as you see fit."
They speak so fluently while finishing each others sentences. I give them a slight nod and gesture for them to walk back into my chambers. They both instantly burst into small flames, teleporting to my wardrobe. I walk in and they both quickly pullout some clothing and armor from the wardrobe. They teleport back and present the garments to me.
"Your armor, my lord." Kiki says, both of them bowing again.
"We have detailed it everyday..."
"In anticipation for your return."
I put on the black leather chest cover and pants. Kiki and Kai slip on my boots, a bunch of jewel rings in my fingers, then strap a platinum chest plate on my chest. The plate has my chest tattoo engraved in the center as well as engravings of what appears to be every war that has happened in Yggdrasil all over it. They slip two platinum spiked vambraces on my forearms. They finish with two spiked shoulder pads and two black wraps around my wrist up my thumbs.
They both step back and give me another quick bow of respect.
"You look absolutely..."
"Magnificent, lord. Please allow us to accompany you to the palace balcony."
Palace? What? I do a slight uncertain cough and nod.
"Please do. I shall follow."
They both walk simultaneously in front of me towards the doors. I push the doors open to be greeted by a dozen people dressed exactly like the guards from the church entrance lined up against the walls. They all drop to their knees and clasp thier hands together as if accepting a blessing. As we pass by them, Kai speaks to me without taking her eyes from in front or her.
"These are the Royale Elites, lord. They have spent decades honing their skills to serve you. Each one is stronger than any mortal in Yggdrasil."
At the end of the line is a doorway to the left. Kai and Kiki turn in before standing on both sides of the door with a bow. I walk in between them into a small concrete room with a curtain at the other side. As I approach the curtain, I can hear The lady giving some sort of speech on the other side.
"This is a extraordinary time for us, my wonderful citizens. For the oldest and most powerful entity has returned to us. To guide us, and lead us to the position we deserve in Yggdrasil! Please ladies and gentlemen, the lord of destruction!"
I straighten my collar a bit and clear my throat while in thought. Not much of a public speaker, but how hard could it be? Just go out, smile and wave at a few hundred people and then come back in. Maybe I should do like a cool cape flick when I step out.
A couple seconds of self hype aside, I open the curtain to wave at the people of Kolsch but was momentarily stunned at what I see. A massive city, sprawling out for hundreds of miles in every direction this deep underground. Wisps of light sit and move around the city providing so much light that it looks like daytime on the surface. In the center of the city sits a gold statue of presumably myself, hundreds of feet tall and gripping a high level angel by its throat. The bottom of the statue is my boot stepping on the face of some kind of ancient demon.
I look out to see millions of beings of all nationalities and races gathered into a massive crowd. Hundreds of thousands of the royal guards kneel in formation in front of the crowd, on their knees with their weapons held into their chests. Directly behind them was an army of regular warriors stand facing the crowds to hold them back. Beasts of all shapes and sizes sit amongst the ocean of beings roaring and being held back by handlers.
I approach the edge of the balcony and attempt a cool cape flip, holding my hand in the air. Everyone erupts into cheers and screams of excitment. The crowds try to push past the guards but are intensely pushed back. Firworks begin to explode high into the air in various colors and patterns like nothing I've ever seen before. As the crowd continues to grow in enthusiasm, the lady smiles at me warmly with a bow.
"Welcome back, my Lord."
A few moments pass and we turn back into the room. The lady walks to my right as Kai and Kiki follows behind us. When we walk back out into the hall, a man rushes towards us with four royal guards behind him. He calls out a deep and scratchy voice.
"Lady Uriel!"
The lady looks at him with a bit of a scold, but still composed and calm.
"You're late, Lord Aamon. The lord already presented himself to the city."
Lord Aamon looks at me and instantly gets on his knees, as do the Royal Elites.
Aamon has a hood and accompanied with a red and black cape. He has black leather pants and boots on as well. His face is covered in a mask that has no eye or mouth holes, and appears to be made of smoke. His chest is bare, his muscles and skin covered in large scortch marks.
"My Lord! It is the highesssst honor to be in your pressence! Any punissshment you wish to give us for our tardiness is more than just."
I nod slightly and speak with a confident and deep voice.
"Rise, Lord Aamon. Today's events were a surpise for all. You need not face punishment."
He stands to his feet but his head is still pointed to the ground.
"Underssstood, Lord. I can asssure you as the commander of your great armiess, that this will never happen again."
"Ensure that it does not. Now come. It has been millenniums since my last visit to Yggdrasil, and I'm feeling rather famished."
Lady Uriel claps once, causing Kai and Kiki to teleport in front of her.
"You heard the Lord. Tell the chefs to prepare the finest meal. And gather the other Lords in the thrown room as soon as possible."
Kai and Kiki bow together. "Of course. As you wish, Lady Uriel."
They both teleport away as Lord Aamon approaches Uriel.
"My Lady, I have important business to discuss with the Lord in the war room. If you'd be as so kind to allow us to deal with it quickly."
Lady uriel nods once at him.
"Very well. Accompany him back to the thrown room when your business is concluded, Lord Aamon. I shall assist in preparation for festivities in the mean time."
Lady Uriel walks down the hall as Aamon motions for the Royal Elites to leave. They stomp their feet in unison before dissappearing in a cloud of grey smoke. He suddenly turns into a snake and slithers into my should.
"It is quiet the privilege to sssee you again, Lord. I do not know how much the Lady hass refressshed of your memory as to our roles. But you will meet the resst of the Lordss shortly. For the now, You know me asss Lord Aamon. I am one of the oldest demons in Yggdrassil. I am known as an Evil Deity. And your humble advisor, massster."
I look over at him on my shoulder and he points with his tail towards a door down the hall opposite the Lady walked to. As I walk down to a large staircase and descend it, Aamon continues speaking again.
"I have been commanding and training Kolsch'ss army for thosse millenniums. You will not find a more powerful force anywhere in the mortal realms. Lady Uriel is your ssecond in command and a Seraph Empyrean class angel. Sshe is one of the most powerful angelsss in all of the heavens. She sspecifically picked a form that is pleasing to you and will not insstantly obliterate lesser beings."
At the bottom of the stairs is another large hall. Lined with standing fire torches. At the end is another set of concrete double doors with an eye carved into them. Lord Aamon leaps from my shoulder and immediately reforms before he touches the ground. He gestures towards the doors.
"Please, my Lord. This is the war counsle room. We must attened to some pressing matters."
Lord Aamon opens the doors and steps to the side with a bow. Three figures stand around a large concrete table, a map of Yggdrasil pinned on the wall behind them. The figures are dressed the same as the Royal Elites but with various medals and jewels on their chests as light black auras eminate from them.
The two males and one female bow before the female speaks in a deep raspy voice.
"My Lord. It is beyond humbling to make your acquaintance. We are the three generals that serve under Lord Aamon."
I step forward into the room and wave for them all to stand back up.
"I understand. Rise, great leaders of our armies. Please enlighten me of our current situation."
They all stand tall, composed and calm as she walks to the map of Yggdrasil. She points up at the map that is circled in red.
"This, is our humble city Lord. On the outskirts of the Baharuth empire. Knowledge of our existence has gone quiet unnoticed by the mortals. We do send out caravans just northeast of us to barter and trade for the city. But recently, a city on our trade routes have been ransacking our caravans."
She points to a large city circled just on the border of the empire called Belhaven. She stands back with her hands together and looks to me.
"We would like to know, how would you like to proceed with this situation, Lord?"
I look at the map laid out with my arms crossed. I scratch my chin as one of the male generals speaks in a monitone voice.
"If I may speak, my Lord."
"Go ahead."
"Maybe with your return, it is time to make an example of the mortals. With all due respect."
I rest a finger on my chin. "An example? You just read my mind."
After an hour of discussions, Lord Aamon and I walk back out the war room and proceed towards the throne room. We reach a long corridor, skull torches and a red carpet leading up to a massive gold door. Four death knights stand at the end. As we approach, they all four grip the door to push it up for us to walk under.
The room is a giant, beautifully decorated space with a red carpet stretched up to the throne. The throne itself made from various bones, adorned by dozens of exotic creature's skulls. The massive walls are covered in carvings of ancient ruins, depictions of battles, Jewels among other impressive things. In the center of the room is a long wooden table set up with the most delicous looking feast I've ever seen. Lady Uriel looks over at me and does a high heel run over to me before clasping her hands together.
"Lord! You're finally back! I finished setting up everything for you. I made sure everything is absolutely perfect."
I smile and put a hand on her shoulder. "Thank you, Uriel. It looks Magnificent. I couldn't as for a better and more perfect second being by my side."
Her cheeks light up bright red, her hands over her heart as she breaths a little heavily. The ahoge on her head moves a bit as she tries to regain her composer.
"T-Thank you, my Lord. I do not deserve such praise coming from you. But it means everything coming from you."
"Nonsense. Now come. It is time for a feast."
Uriel stands next to me and claps her hands once, causing Kiki and Kai apear before us.
"Please fetch the other Lords at once."
"Of course, my Lady."
The both say in unison and walk back towards the throne room entrance. A few moments later, several figures walk in a line and kneel down at my feet.
The first is a blonde female with a mechanical cat masks and ears on her head. She wears a two piece swimsuit style cloth and a utility belt around her hips and one belt with knives going down her chest.
"My lord. It is the biggest privilege to witness your return. I am Lady Tanya Everness. I am the Kolsch genius and the number one war technician in Yggdrasil."
"I see. It is a pleasure meet you, Tanya."
I walk to the next person in Line. The next person is also a female, but with frizzy purple hair tied into two buns on her head. She has fish net leggings on with a cut off top that reveals her stomach, a demon tail, and a scythe made out of a obsidian black material.
"It's nice to see you again, my Lord. You're even more handsome than the last time you humbly graced me with your pressence. I am Lilith, queen of the succubui and your wife."
Uriel growls silently, light emitting from her as white fire emerges from her skin. She takes a deep breath to calm and smiles.
"Don't listen to this nasty little life sucking parasite. She is our warden and the overseer of our vast network of our informants. She is obviously very under qualified, but she has some use I guess. Anyways enough from this uh... thing..."
Lilith mocks Uriel and gives me a wink as I walk by her. The next two are seemingly, two teenagers. The girl grips a skeletal staff tightly as she trembles a bit. She wears a black hood with cape and dark red dress with knee high boots. Her eyes glow a deep green as she looks at the ground.
The man behind her has an eyepatch over his right eye and leather garbs akin to something a bounty hunter might wear. He has a black cloth mask covering his mouth, as well as a bandolier lined with various knives and bullets.
"You seem a little young to be a Lady." I say, with an eyebrow raised at the young girl.
The girl clentches her staff tighter before timidly blurting out.
"I'm not a kid!! M-my lord... I'm so sorry for my outburst. My name is Shiemi. I'll work as hard as I can for you, my Lord."Ureil smiles and nods. "She is one of the most powerful summoners in Yggdrasil. And only at the age of 14."I nod, a finger on my chin. I give her a smile and bow my head slightly.
"That's high praise coming from Lady Uriel. I look forward to seeing what you can do."
Her cheeks turn a bit red and gives a determined look. "I won't let you down, Lord."
I walk past to the finale three Lords, the last two being Kai and Kiki. The man with the eye patch puts his arms across his chest as he stares at the ground.
"It is an honor, my Lord. I am Lord Ryōshi. I am the most feared and lethal hunter of all time. And I have pledged myself to you, mighty lord of destruction. I am at your service."
"Of all time, you say? That is quite a claim, Ryōshi. It is a pleasure."
Uriel gently gestures to Kai and Kiki. "You already have met Ladies, Kai and Kiki. Powerful elemental demons and fiercely loyal."
"Yes indeed. They seem to be quite interesting and powerful. It is a pleasure, Ladies."
They both look down emotionless, their stare emotionless but their faces light up.
"Thank you, my Lord."
"We are yours forever."
I walk back towards the throne to take a seat. As I sit, the top of the throne shoots up massive red flames. Uriel and Aamon line up and get on their knees with the other Lords.
For a bit of dramatic flare, I lift my arm and speak loudly as the fire burns behind me.
"Now, let us eat my fine Lords and Ladies. For we have much to do in the coming days and weeks."
A peaceful wave of sunlight bathes the city of Belhaven. The city hutsles with life and birds whistle as the rest on roof tops. A young blonde man stands outside the capital building, looking out with a smile and a deep breath. As he was about to turn back inside a red dropplet lands on his forehead from the sky. Dark clouds manifest above the city, pouring down a blood red rain. The man runs to the door and yells inside inside the building.
"Quick! Get councilman Ashford! It's an emergency!"
Moments later an older man in fine robs with a long beard walks out the doors. He looks up at the sky in disturbed shock.
"What the hell?"
The blood drops rush together in front the building, forming a towering collection of horrified faces. They all speak in unison directed at the council building.
"We demand the head of your current leader as a sacrifice for your impudence. You have three days to deliver it to Kolsch. Failure to do as requested will result in a declaration of war."
The blood monstrosity immediately falls apart, bathing large sections of builds in blood before quickly evaporating. The citizens look up in horror as the pair look at each other, completely stunned. They both hastily walk back inside before shutting the doors. They both look at half a dozen concil representatives sitting around a table.
"What's wrong, councilman Ashford? What was that noise?"
Ashford nervously puts his hands on the table and clearing his throat.
"We may have a severe problem gentlemen. We just received a message from a high-level summoner."
"What? What did they say?" One asks, clearly a bit on edge now.
Ashford has a bead of sweat run down his cheek before hitting the table.
"Guards! I want all city guards on high alert and patrol. Get me the captain here NOW! Entrance into and out of the city is hereby canceled until I can figure this out."
A different representative stands and puts a hand on Ashford's shoulder. "Sir, what is happening?"
Ashford smacks his hand away and takes a deep breath.
"We may have upset something powerful. Unlike anything I've ever seen before. What ever it was, is capable of changing weather on demand and it has given us a gruesome message."
"Relax, Ashford. We'll figure something out. Did they say what they wanted?"
Ashford hesitates for a moment before wiping the sweat from his face.
"No. But we need every guard active right now. nothing enters or leaves the city walls effective immediately."
A days and nights pass, the city still completely locked down. Crowds of civilians gathered around the city capital building wanting answers to what is happening. The city guards keep them at bay while councilman Ashford anxiously waits in the council room.
Despite the distress Ashford seemed to be in, the rest of the room is fairly calm.
One representative stands. "Sir, it's been a full three days. This closure is going to affect the city's profit from commerce significantly if we continue."
Ashford clenches his fist while peeking out the window. "Silence! Something is going to happen. I can feel it."
Another stands. "Perhaps you just need some rest. You look like you haven't slept in days."
"Shut up!" He snaps back, beginning to pace back and forth.
The door flies open as the blonde man rushes in while panting. "Sir! Outside!"
Ashford runs outside to see the captain holding up a telescope. Ashford takes it, shoving the captain aside. He puts it up to his eye and looks out to the right of the building.
A beam of bright light shines down directly in front a some city guards. Then a sudden crash causes a shock wave across the city and the buildings directly around to burst into white flames. Uriel rises to her feet, covered in beautiful sliver armor adorned with a gold cross on the chest plate. The armor so bright, it's incredibly hard to look at directly.
She flaps her wings once, causing the buildings to collapse in front of her. A bright aura that pulsates surrounds her, isntantly disintegrating dozens of city guards. She points at Ashford while walking slowly towards the capital building.
Ashford looks left to see Aamon as a giant wolf with red eyes taller than some of the buildings crash through the city wall. He lets out a firey breathed howl, shaking the ground. Dozens of Elites appear in front of Aamon. They disperse in all directions so fast they become blurs. They sliced a dozen guards to pieces before the guards could comprehend their deaths.
In the center of the city at the market, two large skeletal hands rip the ground open. Hundreds of demons and undead begin pouring through the opening to furiously assault more city guards. Ashford yells in terror when noticing the cloud of tens of thousands of flaming arrows being shot over the city walls and at the building.
Ashford throws the captain forward and rushes back inside to bar the door. The arrows slam into the building, exploding and damaging the structure including blowing out the windows.
I walk down the stairs of the massive platform carried buy thousands of death knights. I approach the gates. Two Royal Elites blow them down with ease, so I pass through. A formation of Elites follow behind me with two red banners of an eye flying in the air.
Elites run across the roofs, throwing large banners onto buildings as I pass. One Elite impales a city guard with a spear and places a banner at the end in front of us. The other Lords walk behind me until we stand at the steps of the capital building. The Lords line up in a straight line behind me as I clear my throat and speak out loudly.
"Good day, leaders of Belhaven. It is unfortunate we had to meet under these circumstances. But I've come to extend an olive branch of peace between our cities. We ask for the head of your current leader for his blatant disrespect to my people."
A few moments of silence pass, so I continue.
"Your continued silence and unwillingness to cooperate with us is beginning to hurt my people's feelings. And hurting their feelings right now seems..."I look back to see two elites throw a guard off a roof. Dozens of others are being massacred across the city."Unwise. Now, we can discuss things this way or I can send in one of my Lords. Then the discussions will become significantly less civil."
Uriel takes a step forward but I stop her. I gesture for Tanya to move forward. She laughs, doing a cartwheel forward and landing on one hand. She licks blood off the claws on her hand while giving an evil smile.
"I'll allow a you few moments to decide if you wish to be reasonable or not."
After a few more moments, I gesture for Kiki and Kai to follow Tanya. Kai laughs as her skin burst with ice shards. Her body completely covering over with solid ice armor. She steps forward while shivering and lifting a katana made of pure ice.
Kiki coughs up smoke before lava pours from her mouth. Her body erupts into fire and lava, letting out a fierce growl. A katana manifest in her hands made of cooling lava. They leave a trail of fire and ice as they follow Tanya up the stairs towards the door.
Suddenly, the door flies open and Ashford is thrown out to Tanya, Kai and Kiki. He turns and beats on the door while screaming traitors. He then turns around to Tanya and cowers back against the door.
Tanya grabs him by his beard and drags him all the way down to me. He stands, looking up at me but Kai and Kiki both bash him in the face with the butt of their katanas.
"You are not worthy..."
"To gaze upon the Lord without permission."
I raise my hand and they step back.
"Ah. You must be the leader of the Belhaven council. This is a terrible situation for you, indeed."
He begins to speak but I cut him off.
"But someone must pay for the insult you so callously delivered to us.Today, you pay with your life. Kneel down."
Kai and Kiki simultaneously slash the back of his legs, causing him to drop to his knees. I snap my fingers and they slice through his neck from opposite ends. His head flies up and flips, Tanya catching it by the hair.
Tanya presents the head to me with a bow.
"Mount it on the building. Now, I will have a word with the remaining council."
I walk up the stairs with Uriel to my left and Aamon to my right. We reach the doors when Kai and Kiki kick them in. The rest of the council cower in the corner behind a flipped over table. Kai and Kiki, returned to their normal forms, set up the table and chairs in the center of the room. I stand at the end with my hands on the table as I address them.
"The untimely death of your ruler must be a great tragedy for you all. But I believe it does open an excellent opportunity to broker peace between our cities. Assuming you all are interested in a discussion."
