The Ultimate Interdimensional War
Chapter 3: Escape from the Infinite Labyrinth
Date: September 19th, 2023
After a few minutes, I successfully pull out all of the Barian cards before anyone could be fully corrupted by them. When I was done, my right glove was soaked.. I was surprised that Black Storm didn't attack me in that time. But then, Raphtalia gets up. When the cards were thrust into us, most of us were knocked down and rendered motionless. She says: "Everyone! It's Black Storm!" Black Storm laughs again: "You weak pathetic fools think you can defeat me?! Swiftdrawer, you may have managed to outsmart me a few minutes ago but now, I'm going to finally put an end to all of you. This time, there's nothing you can do to stop me!" Without any of us knowing, Black Storm had managed to create an attack far bigger than the one we had worked so hard to put a stop to earlier. The others recover as Bray performs a healing spell that heal all of them as well as herself. Hearts sneers: "Black Storm.. Even someone like him is able to handle my attacks. I never expected anything like this." Filo shivers: "We're all going to be flattened by that attack!" Glass replies: "Don't worry just yet. We will find a way to win." Black Storm grins: "You really think you will ever be able to win against me?! What a laugh, that's so entertaining!" Mu nods: "We will find a way.. Crystal Wall!" "I cast Barrier!" "Time Splitting Sword! Let's do this!" "Pegasus Cosmic Punch!" "Nebula Storm!" "*unison* Aurora Execution!" "Zexal Morph! Zexal lll! Attack, Hope Leo!" "Masango! You will not be allowed to interfere with any dimension any longer!" "High Quick!" "Hey Kiddo! Let's attack together!" "Okay, L'Arc! But don't call me that!" "I will use the full power of this jewel I possess!" "What a nap causation. Let me prove that I've been working on myself. Dimensional Warp!" "*unison* Rozan Hundred Dragons!"
We all attack at once but it isn't enough to stop Black Storm's attack.. Athena yells: "If we stay here, we will perish. We must retreat!" The attack comes closer and closer to us. Mere seconds before it obliterates all of us in a flash. Our foe laughs at our failed attempts to do any damage to him. However, we all manage to teleport away to the other side of the Infinity Labyrinth in time. I sigh as we see a brief "light show" in the distance: "That was way too close." Black Storm easily catches up to us: "Now that you are trapped in this place, there's no escape for you!" Kizuna replies: "We'll see about that! Naofumi was able to find a way out once before. He can do it again!" "Hahahaha! You really think that the Shield Hero will be able to defy the odds again and break out? I don't think so. The error that led to his success has been fixed. Only I can travel in and out of this labyrinth now! You were able to escape my attack. You know why? I let you. I allowed you to think you had the upper hand. In reality, you never had the upper hand. Ever since you arrived to this dimension, you have been playing right into my hands. Every time I fail, I have a backup to use instead. It's so amusing to watch you humans and others try to defeat me! My latest attack was only a diversion. Now, I will make sure to destroy and bury all of you here!" Gemini Saga who has purple/blue hair, blue eyes, light skin, and the Gemini Gold Cloth extends his hand: "You will not be allowed to proceed with your ambitions. Another Dimension!" Black Storm briefly widens his eyes as Saga attempts to send him hurtling through space in a different dimension. However, he uses his tentacles to anchor himself to the Infinite Labyrinth. "Impossible! Shaka!"
Virgo Shaka, the Saint closest to the gods. Normally, his eyes are closed but when open, you can see that they're blue. He has shoulder length golden hair that matches the beauty of the Virgo Gold Cloth. "I know, Saga. Black Storm, I will show you the 7 locations to go to after you die. Whichever one you choose is where you will be sent." Each realm is depicted to Black Storm. Hell, Heaven, humanity, the animal one, and the others. But Black Storm attacks all of us and restrains us with his tentacles again as Shaka finishes. Shaka is unfazed by this especially as Alice's sword cuts through some of the tentacles. As for me, I'm completely restrained, unable to break free. Shaka gets into position as our environment changes around us to feature painted ancient carvings. "Black Storm, you may have restrained most of us. However, I will now take away all of your senses!" "What?! Why you!" Black Storm tries to attack him but is held back by those who can still move. "Ultimate Sensory Deprivation!" Black Storm screams as Shaka's technique nails him, getting rid of his senses. However, he recovers, lets go those of us who were restrained by him, and forms dark blasts on each of his tentacles as if he never lost his senses. It's like he doesn't need them.. Black Storm starts firing them at us in rapid succession. I block with my sword and shield as many of the attacks as I could but it was no good. Sooner or later, they were going to destroy my gear and me along with me despite how many of us are fighting Black Storm at once. "Damn it! How in the hell are we supposed to beat Black Storm without the help of the likes of Goku? Wait, we still have Xeno Goku." He smirks while going Super Saiyan 4: "That's right. You still have me." But Black Storm was unwilling to let Xeno Goku perform the Spirit Bomb.
He strikes at all of us extremely quickly with the tentacles and energy blasts. I tried cutting a tentacle but it didn't help much. "Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 45! Haaaaaaaaaa!" My attack does little against our foe. Seiya shouts: "Damn it! There has to be a way to win!" "What a nap causation! That's it! I'm done! Polymerization, fuse all of us together!" Without warning, we're all suddenly fused into a single being who wields one hell of a weapon, bulky and huge metal armor, wings of pegasi, alicorn, and so forth merged into one, and an intense golden aura. They say: "I need not introduce myself. I will simply do what I was brought into this dimension to do: defeat your Black Storm!" "How amusing! So you think fusion will be enough for you to be able to defeat me?! That won't work! Taking away my senses didn't work so how will this be different?! Hahahaha, you foolish mortals! I have power far beyond your comprehension and I don't need to become a god to prove it! Barian Power Blast!" Black Storm's attack doesn't even make the fusion flinch. They just stand there with their arms crossed just like Taurus Aldebaran. "What's wrong?! Don't want to fight?" "You aren't hurting me. It's more logical to let you waste your strength instead of fight you myself so long as you are unable to penetrate my armor." "We'll see!" The fusion is untouchable and continues to tank attack after attack. Despite all of that, they still stand in place. For 15 minutes, this continues until the fusion weakens because of how much energy their existence is draining. That gave Black Storm the perfect opening to attack. The fusion responds in kind as they take a little damage: "So you finally managed to wound me. That won't matter for I will now use a barrage of attacks to deal severe damage to you." They start using every single technique possessed by those of us who were fused into them. And I mean all of them. In rapid succession.
Black Storm was unable to keep up to the sheer speed being displayed and ends up taking so much damage in the process. The fusion smirks as they begin to defuse into all of us: "I got you good. This was an interesting confrontation. May I never be needed to fight you ever again." I got quite a bit drained due to the fusion but still stood back up. "Dominic! Next time, a better warning would do nicely before you pulled that on all of us! But no matter. Black Storm is heavily weakened and damage. The opportunity to force him to retreat or better yet, force him to surrender or be completely defeated is now. For now on, I shall speak a little more like the noble heritage I have earned from my efforts. Huzzah! Again! Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 45!" My attack does a little damage to the recovering Black Storm. In turn, the others attack him too and we get much closer to being able to defeat him. But then, I see Chocolate wandering nearby. I was wondering where she went. I hadn't seen her in a while. Black Storm finally gets back up and starts attacking all of us at full force or rather, as close to that as possible. He looks in the direction of Chocolate just as I had, raises one of his tentacles, concentrates his power into one attack, and fires at my noble steed. I run as fast as I can after performing several Air Slice Slashes in order to protect her. But even my armor wasn't enough. I got to her in time. But my armor broke as the force of the attack tore through my body, leaving a huge hole in it and dealing a devastating blow to Chocolate. I collapse to the ground with a resounding thud and lose consciousness. When I woke up, I saw a severely injured Bray doing her best to save my life with the opposite of healing magic as it appears healing magic no longer works on me again. "Bray.. Are we still fighting? How's Chocolate?"
"You saved her life. Chocolate is okay now. Her armor is fixed as will yours. Black Storm is slowly weakening but continues to pose an enormous threat to all of us. I shall heal myself when I'm finished with you, my friend. Healing you has been an intriguing process." I hear Naofumi yell: "Damn it! Why can't this bastard just stay down already?! Filo! Raphtalia! We have to combine our attacks! Now! His defenses are being restored! Attack!" After a few minutes, Bray and I are back in good shape but she's running out of mana. I hand her an mp candy before both of us run back to the battle to fight. Black Storm glares are us: "Both of you should have perished by now! You mortals are far more annoying together than I expected!" "Attack, Chronomaly Atlandis!" "Disaster Leo! Giant Hunter!" All of our latest attacks only deal a little damage to Black Storm. Naofumi shouts: "Most of his health has been depleted but he's still far from dead!" "Of course I am! With all of this power I've been given, you will never get me like before! Especially not when so many of your friends who helped you defeat me have had to go fight in other dimensions!" We keep on fighting Black Storm until we reach our limits. Even Bray is unable to continue fighting any longer. We're all battered, bruised, exhausted, and beaten. I try to swing Graceful Protector but I'm just barely able to make it sing through the air a little bit. "This is bad! That bastard's still going strong! I can't take this anymore! I.." Naofumi starts getting really angry. Black Storm laughs: "Looks like someone has to rely on his hatred in order to stand a chance at defeating me! It's ironic and amusing how far humans will fall to achieve their goals! Even if it means they become slaves to Don Thousand himself!" Athena speaks: "Naofumi, do not let yourself be consumed by the darkness." Saga adds: "The price of letting it use you is the people you most care about."
"Kiddo! Get a grip on yourself!" "All of you be quiet! It doesn't matter! Let it control him! Do that and maybe you'll be able to defeat me! After all, I was created from Don Thousand and corrupted Astral in order to take the form I currently have!" That made me pretty angry: "Black Storm! The manipulation of others doesn't bring about a good future nor does allowing your darkness to control you!" Black Storm attacks us all of us again: dealing a whole lot of damage in the process. My armor's in pieces all around me. My robes are torn. My cape is on the ground. The rest of my gear is now around my feet due to what happened to my armor. Black Storm starts actively trying to kill us, targeting Naofumi's friends in particular in order to get him to use the Rage Shield and lose control of himself. Naofumi breaks, loses control, and starts going at anyone who dares stand in his way. But Black Storm easily dispatches him by getting him to use all of his rage in a single attack. Stuck on the ground, my own emotions were stirring. And after some time, I lost it too. I went into Insane Mode, got up despite the pain, and summoned the Blood Demon Sword with Artist's Eye as my left eye somehow managed to recover enough from the last 2 uses throughout the incredibly long and difficult day. "Black Storm! Prepare to be destroyed and die as I turn you into little pieces! I'm going to make you suffer! Suffer so badly that even you will be left no longer able to fight once I'm done with you!" "Hahahaha! I like that! You've become little more than a wild animal, human!" "Shut up! You're going to die soon! Piercing Darkness! Infinite Pain!" Black Storm staggers as my attacks hit the mark but the usage of such power in my body's shape was too much to handle. I lost consciousness again as the strain was too enormous for my once again damaged body. When I woke up, I found myself in another dimension with all of my gear in perfect condition. My cape fluttered around as a gentle breeze was felt.
I took a step forward and looked around: "What is this place? It's so beautiful. The forest is so green. But why am I here in the midst of a confrontation with Black Storm of all times?" Someone speaks: "Swiftdrawer. Swiftdrawer!" I start walking again, trying to go in the direction of the voice: "Who's there?! What do you want from me? I'm not the hero who alone will save everyone. So why? Why are you calling out to me?" "Follow my voice. The next step of your evolution into a knight of unfathomable strength lies beyond this forest." I keep walking and walking into I find a castle shrouded in darkness. "Am I at the right place?" "You have reached your destination. This dark castle is where you will take your next step. Your soul brought itself into this dimension due to what has recently happened to you. This is the destiny your actions and choices have revealed to you. Despite the overbearing presence of someone manipulating everything you do not being something that you'd have to deal with, you have still managed to come here by choice. Welcome to the complex and multi-faceted World Of The Knights. This dimension exists for knights like yourself to do what you must do in it if necessary when the multiverse is threatened. Now, step inside the castle." I reluctantly do so, having a very bad feeling considering what I saw of it before going in. Inside, I saw paintings and many statues all cloaked in darkness. A mysterious figure cloaked in shadows awaited me. They took off their cloak to reveal a completely dark version of myself. The voice speaks: "You have done well to gain better control over your own inner darkness. However, it still consumes you when it takes hold. Every time it takes hold, your soul is at risk of being damaged or worse. In the Infinityverse, you came a long way towards gaining control over it. Now, you must take on this trial. A portion of your inner darkness has been summoned here. Defeat them and we will move forward. Lose and you will become a being of darkness and wickedness for eternity." I draw Graceful Protector and charged at my inner darkness: "I'm ready! En garde! I won't lose to you! I already accept you're a part of me but that's still not good enough for you! I must win! Haaaaaaaa!" The fight begins. We're equal. What I can do, they can do too. Like 2 sides of the same coin.
It must have been hours or even days before I started to lose. I didn't know. I lost track of time. But what I did know was that I needed to find someway to turn the tables. "You won't defeat me! I'm Swiftdrawer and I AM a knight! I have already embraced you as a part of me but you still act as an independent entity wanting to destroy everything that pisses me off and everything else that isn't good enough to you as well! Therefore, I must put you down!" The fight continues. Our swords continue to clash. Our Ki and imaginations continue to add twists to the battle. But I'm slowly getting tired and have begun to deal less damage than my counterpart. Even when I tried to use the Sharingan in my right eye, nothing changed my situation. Instead, it felt as though I was sinking further and further into my own darkness. I was eventually pushed to my limit. And as I was, I figured out a possible solution to my situation: "Inner darkness, you are a part of me! Damaging me is only damaging yourself! I'm no main character or number one hero or chosen protagonist. I'm just me. I'm trying to create a future where bigotry, Nazis, fascism, hatred, injustice, needless violence, and greed hold no sway! You fight me without words, allowing me to think more clearly. And for making that mistake, you have given me a chance to win! Return within me, inner darkness!" I manage to catch them off guard, allowing me to knock their sword to the ground with Graceful Protector before giving them the tightest hug I can possibly give them. I use my understanding of Ki, chakra, and mana in order to reel them into me. It works. They start dissipating and returning inside of me. I put Graceful Protector into its scabbard before walking forward exhausted and hurt but also the winner of the fight. The voice speaks again: "Well done. You have proven yourself very capable today. Walk further in here. It's time for your next job change." "My next job change?"
"Yes. You who was once a unconfident and shy child with few friends. You who became a warrior chosen by Ra himself. You who proved yourself worthy of knighthood and obtained it. Your friends will have their next job changes in time as well. Swiftdrawer, your future awaits. *after a few minutes* You may stop right here." I stop walking and find myself in front of a dark mass of some kind. "This is the human will at its darkest. Reach into it with your right hand and prepare to be subjected to what it has to offer. If you can withstand it for more than 3 minutes, you will become a Dark Knight! You are already able to create the Blood Demon Sword without need to get angry, afraid, or sad first but often form it when you are upset. That must change if you succeed. Best of luck, young knight. This will not resurrect your body but it will give you the strength and will needed to begin harnessing your darkness for good." "Huzzah! I shall do this. Whatever horrors await me.. I have to. I've already seen and experienced so much pain. When I become a dark knight, I will continue to be known as a knight for despite what darkness lives inside of me, Im a knight before almost anything else. My friends, my comrades.. I will do my best to continue to protect, aid, and support you no matter how many enemies we have to slay in the future. Im not just doing this for myself. I seek power in order to protect. To grow myself in order to strengthen my resolve and what I am able to accomplish in pursuit of a better future. Im flawed, I don't do enough in my original world but Im trying, and sometimes, I break apart. But it's all worth it in the end. I can succeed or fail if I try. If I don't try, I can only fail. This is it. A moment for me to gain power to make another stand against Black Storm. I have not forgotten what still lies unresolved for myself and my friends and comrades."
I reach out into the dark mass and experience intense pain as well as bad memories, dark thoughts, and everything you can possibly think of in regards to that kind of stuff. I scream in agony as I find it incredibly difficult to resist all of that. My mind is consumed with all of the darkness and the pain but my eyes remain open. I can't help but pay attention as my body shakes and more. That forces me to see the armor I wear as well as Graceful Protector. Another reason I looked around was because I was trying to find some escape to allow me to focus on something other than the agony I was feeling. When I can't resolve my agony despite my best efforts, I'm always forced to find something to take my mind off of it. "I've been through so much! I see everything around me! I see my sword by my side! My armor! It's all so overwhelming! But I remember now: I can endure any torment enough to not take my own life as long as I know it's going to end! As long as there's an end to the pain, even if that end is ultimately the destruction of my body or my death in my other body, I can get through it no matter how hellish and impossible it seems!" It keeps going on for what felt like forever. And then, the dark mass vanished: freeing me of the torment at last. I was sweaty and panting heavily. I looked beat up despite knowing my physical form was currently just my soul, not either of my bodies. The voice speaks again: "Congratulations. You were able to hold on despite nearly giving up. You longed for an end but managed to pull through. You have earned it. When the time is right, you will once travel to this dimension subconsciously of you own will. You are now a dark knight, it will be some time before you fully unlock what being one affords you. But you have done it. Now go forth, Swiftdrawer!"
I feel a change occurring within me. I look down at myself and see darkness symbols on several parts of my armor. I turn around and see it on my cape as well. And then, darkness surrounds me and I wake up in my body. "I cast Repair!" My armor is restored. My body is still very much hurt but now, I can see that the transformation has affected my physical armor as well. I rise from the ground weakly: "Black Storm! Im back!" I see all of my comrades except for those of Raphtalia and Glass' Worlds completely unconscious and almost dead. Our foe glares at me: "Impossible! You haven't moved in a while! Looks like you'll be among the last of your pathetic group to be destroyed!" "I'm coming for you! I won't go down so easily. Not with my armor being to perfect condition. *I pick up the rest of my ensemble and put all of it back on before picking Graceful Protector back up* I will never be the main hero. But now that I'm a dark knight, I am slightly stronger than I was before this point! And that little bit makes a difference." "Fool! I will just put you back right where you belong!" I force a portion of my inner darkness into my muscles to strengthen them. I start swinging quickly and precisely with Air Slice Slashes in rapid succession. This catches him off guard, causing him to miss me with his attacks by a narrow margin. Additionally, the others perform an ambush from behind, dealing some damage in the process. Black Storm clenches his teeth in anger: "How dare you outplay me! I will make all of you regret this! Yes I will! Right now! Black Storm tries the tentacle thing but L'Arc smirks: "Find some new tricks. We won't fall for that again. Right, Kiddo!" "Yes, we won't! But I told you to stop calling me Kiddo!"
I don't hear or see what happened next as I suddenly felt a strange pain that wasn't there but felt like it was. "What's happening to me?!" The voice from before replies: "The damage done to your soul by all the times you have lost control to your inner darkness is starting to catch up to you now that your body has been deceased for as long as it has. When you are able to go to a safe location away from any battles, you must seek out help to repair the damage to your soul. If you do not, it will soon begin rapidly deteriorating. It didn't catch up with you before you last died because you were almost constantly surrounded by powerful beings and individuals. The strength of their souls helped keep yours intact. But now, your body has not experienced that for long since the death of Pmurt Nedib in part due to what happened to the powers and strengths of yourself and others in the Infinityverse." "Wait.. Are you the wind?" "Yes. That is why I never told you my identity. Now Swiftdrawer, you must focus on the battle before you. There's no other choice. Save your comrades with those still standing." I nod and shout: "Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 45!" Black Storm was hit by its full power as he assumed I was rendered unable to fight just now. He was dead wrong. Taking significant damage, he yells: "YOU!" only for the others to attack him again. Several of our comrades regain consciousness and begin to help each other recover from what Black Storm did to them. Those of us still fight manage to hang on long enough for the others to rejoin the fight.
Black Storm was clearly getting more agitated even as I ran out of strength and trembled to the ground after using up all that I had left as the fight continued. And then, the Mane 6 got together while wearing the Elements of Harmony. Our foe saw this and tried to blast them. However.. "Starlight Extinction! Crystal Wall!" "Rozan Hundred Dragons!" "Final Flash!" "Big Bang Kamehameha!" "Release Recollection!" "Shining Draw!" "Aurora Execution!" You get the picture. Even Athena got in his way. Twilight speaks: "The bonds of friends and comrades will defeat the darkness! I believe in everyone and they all believe in me!" Fluttershy adds: "To protect all of the innocent creatures, we will unite our hearts." Rarity continues: "We will show our generosity for eternity and to do this, we must win!" Rainbow Dash adds on: "So things can stay awesome, we have come here to protect what we cherish!" Applejack speaks: "Our reasons for being here are honest and just. Come on y'all, let's really come together! They're all counting on us!" Pinkie Pie finishes: "The smiles will continue to be wide with what we are about to do! Get ready! Elements of Harmony, do your thing!" The elements resonate. The Mane 6 float in the air with a barrier around them. The rest of us find ourselves having the same thing happen. All of us shout something important out of instinct: "Knighthood!" "Wisdom!" "Innovation!" "My scythe!" "My fan!" "My jewels!" "I am Princess Melty!" "Neigh!" "I'm feeling the flow!" "My shield!" "Super Saiyan 4!" It continues on and Black Storm is unable to stop it. All of our auras and hearts resonate. Multiple rainbows form and fly above us before falling and crashing into Black Storm. "NOOOOOOOOOO! HOW IS THIS HAPPENING?! HOW CAN YOUR USELESS BONDS OVERPOWER ME?!"
I only have enough energy left to say: "It's because you have underestimated the power of us all combined! Our spirits are being unleashed as one and because they're tied to our will, they're incredibly powerful when put together! You may have wounded many of us even more when you tried to stop the Mane 6 from starting this as they defended them but that didn't stop our unity! Huzzah!" A few seconds later, Black Storm was successfully turned to stone. As many of us began to celebrate our victory over our foe, something didn't feel right. Shaka yells: "Something is happening! Be careful, everyone! I can sense it!" Even his warning was too little too late. Before we knew it, yet another blinding flash of light blinds myself and the others with me. When it faded, it revealed a huge and rampaging Black Storm as well as a gaping hole in the Infinite Labyrinth which we have been too busy fighting or being unconscious to really explore or try to find a way out of up to now. "IM GOING TO DESTROY ALL YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO ME! BEGONE, WORMS!" Future Trunks: "Look out! Black Storm is showing his real power level now! It's much higher than we feared. He's recovering from everything we've done to him at an incomprehensible rate!" None of us could avoid being hurt by him now. Black Storm just lashed out at anything, disregarding all the damage he was somehow doing to the Infinite Labyrinth himself in the midst of it all. It was clear he was dead set on crushing all of us with his blasts and tentacles like never before. We couldn't believe he had been holding back so much this entire time. I was shocked and horrified as we went all over the place in order to avoid everything being sent our way. Rainbow Dash shouts: "I can't fly fast enough to get away! This cant be happening!" Chocolate gallops to me and puts 2 of her legs on me: "You want me to ride you, huh? Okay, Chocolate. This will actually work out for us."
I mount the horse and then, we're off. As she moves, I protected. I tried my best to thrust with my sword over and over in order to protect the both of us from both tentacles and powerful energy blasts. After a few minutes, it becomes obvious that there's no way we can keep doing this. None of us could even fight back. But Naofumi had an idea. "Everyone! We have to jump!" "*unison amongst most of us* WHAT?!" Kizuna replies: "It'll be alright! I jumped with him and Raphtalia before! We survived!" We all ended up jumping. I was one of those who didn't hesitate to jump. We were lucky there was a little time for us to recover before the blinding light came and that's why I was able to get up and move again. As we began to fall down due to jumping, the acceleration due to gravity quickly sent us plummeting faster and faster. We were falling past the clouds and Black Storm was trying to get us. However, the acceleration was too much for him to try to keep up with. It wasn't long before we hit the ground and took no fall damage because some of us worked together to slow our falls. Black Storm was still coming for us but it would still be some time before he could reach us despite the size of the hole he made in the Infinity Labyrinth. We look around and find ourselves in a town in the nation of Mikakage or rather, a town that was in it until the villain Kyo manipulated another country to take over Mikakage. The town is very much Japanese style around the Edo period in looks. But it wasn't long until we discovered something really bad. L'Arc sighs as our main foe begins to get closer to us: "Even our world is getting invaded. Just as we thought and feared earlier."
The whole town was overrun with our foes. I draw Graceful Protector and was about to dismount from Chocolate until I saw that all of the people in the area were hiding with my Ki. Instead, I speak up: "We must encourage the people to take arms and fight back. We'd have to protect them even if they didn't so if they listen, we had better do that extra well. Chocolate starts moving forward as I effortlessly thrust through enemy after enemy with Graceful Protector. After we get a bit into the town, I yell: "People of this village! I am no leader but you must take up arms and fight with us if you can! This is your home and you deserve to help fight for its continued existence! The enemies who have overrun it must not be allowed to stay! Worry not for you can trust me, my comrades nearby, and my noble friend and steed, Chocolate! I am Swiftdrawer and I serve the people as a knight of my own free will!" I continue shouting out the same speech until we have covered the entire town. But then, one of Black Storm's tentacles comes toward us. I hop off Chocolate and parry with it: "Chocolate! Get behind me! I'm going to keep you safe! I can't do this in my other body but I sure as hell can do it here! Haaaaaa! I will defend everyone I can with Graceful Protector no matter how many hp bananas I have to eat!" I manage to fight the tentacle as well as all of the foes surrounding us but I knew I wouldn't last forever. And that I couldn't risk dealing much damage to the town without putting the people in danger. A huge number of them were now fighting with us thanks to my words. But the problem was that that wasn't nearly enough for our needs. It was hard trying to fight my way back to our comrades with Chocolate closely following me.
Just when it seemed like I was about to lose miserably to Black Storm and be killed by him thanks to the tentacle getting faster and me being forced to slow down, something happened. The tentacle vanished and the presence of Black Storm could no longer be felt. "What the hell just happened? Who managed to take down Black Storm just like that? Number 96 has become a truly terrifying and fearsome opponent.. How is this possible?" Chocolate replies: "I don't know but it's not anyone I know of." "Hmm.. That could mean a lot of things. Let's keep going." But then, many of our foes are destroyed by different blasts. "Oak Evolution!" "Burning Mandela!" "Love and Beauty Shock!" "Aqua Rhapsody!" "World Shaking!" "Deep Submerge!" "Dead Scream." "Silver Moon Crystal Kiss!" I widened my eyes: "Why are they in this dimension as well? Who sent them here?" I then heard them shout either: "Hotaru!" or "Saturn!" I mounted Chocolate: "Chocolate! Follow their voices! Quickly! Those are the Sailor Guardians! I can't believe it!" She nods and begins galloping amongst a sea of destroyed and killed enemies. Soon, we reach them. Sailor Moon/Usagi has super long blonde hair in 2 pigtails, 2 buns with beautiful red and white jewelry in time, pink princess like shoulder parts, long white gloves(like all Sailor Guardians), big white wings, a red, yellow, and blue skirt, a long red bow around her waist that hangs like 2 long pigtails itself, long white/red shoes/bottom leggings, light skin, blue eyes, a crescent moon on her forehead, star earrings, and a white shirt with a yellow and blue top part as well as a double winged brooch with a heart and crescent moon. She carries a moon/heart themed rod with her. Ami/Mercury has neck length dark blue hair, light skin, blue eyes, a blue collar with a star, a blue heart brooch with a light blue bow, a blue and white shirt that ends just below her shoulders, a blue skirt, and blue/white long socks/shoes.
All guardians except Usagi has a piece of forehead gear that's golden in the shape of a v with a gem in the center featuring one of their main colors. Mercury's is cyan ish. Mars/Rei has purple eyes, long black straight hair with a purple shine, a red heart brooch with purple bow, a white and red shirt, a red skirt, and red shoes(all Sailor Guardians specifically wear high heels. It's impressive that they can run around and fight in them easily. They all also wear earrings. Forgot.) Makoto/Jupiter has light brown hair that's typically in a long ponytail, green eyes, a green heart brooch with pink bow, a green and white shirt(that ends right below the shoulders. That applies to the others as well) that shows some of her very upper chest skin, a black collar with a yellow star(forgot to mention Mars has one in a different color), green shirt, pink waist bow, and laces green and black high heels. Minako/Venus has super long blonde hair that can reach to her knees, a blue bow with yellow heart brooch, a orange and white shirt, a orange skirt, light skin, blue eyes, and orange high heels with some skin on her feet still showing, making them kind of like flip flops to have honest. Setsuna/Pluto has massive and long dark green hair, dark red bows, crimson eyes, black and white shirt, black skirt, and long black high heels. Haruka/Uranus has light skin, pale tan boyish hair, yellow bow with a blue heart brooch, dark blue and white shirt, dark blue skirt, dark blue boot like high heels, and dark blue eyes. Michiru/Neptune has mint green shoulder length hair, blue eyes, a green and white shirt, blue bow with green heart brooch, light skin, a important mirror relic, green skirt, and green high heels with fabric forming 2 X's. Saturn/Hotaru has light skin, magenta eyes, short black hair with a purple shine, dark red ribbon with a purple heart brooch, a blue-violet and white shirt blue-violet skirt, and laced boot like long blue-violet high heels. She is currently on the ground, dying.
For us, the battle for Glass' World has temporarily paused. The other Sailor Guardians are gathered around Hotaru who holds the power to destroy even planets at the cost of her own life. Naofumi reaches them too and gasps: "Was it you who stopped that Black Storm?! Please don't die!" Pluto speaks: "Unfortunately, strangers of other dimensions, there is nothing we can do. She sacrifices her life in order to save all of you from that nightmarish creature." Dominic replies: "No, it's not too late." He takes a Capsule Corp capsule out of his pocket and throws it, revealing a portable resurrection device. Mercury speaks up: "That's very fascinating to me. How does all of this work? More importantly, can you really save Hotaru?" "The answer is yes. Bray, help me out. All of you, allow us to work. This won't take long." Usagi replies: "What?! You can really save her?" Pluto, Uranus, Mercury, and Neptune all look like they believe Dominic's words. I get off of Chocolate. The light clinking of my armor gets the attention of the Sailor Guardians. "I can vouch for them. They can save her. She just passed away but don't worry, they will do it. When none of us were working, your friend passed. Sorry to interrupt what would have been a heartfelt and beautiful goodbye to her. But there's no reason to say goodbye." Mars says: "Just who are all of you people anyway? Especially you in the armor, I don't trust you. ..Hotaru.." I put my helm over my forehead again: "I'm a knight. My name is Swiftdrawer. But right now, we must be quiet. Bray and Dominic are going to bring back your friend. Just wait a few seconds and feel free to watch. It's a sight to behold but we won't have much time to chat. The enemy's reinforcements are quickly approaching."
The Sailor Guardians listen to my every word and watch as Dominic operates the machine, I gently lift Hotaru onto it, and Bray begins casting a spell. "I cast Ultimate Resurrection!" And just like that, Hotaru wakes up as if she hadn't just died. Her big and long scythe is in her hand. The guardians rush over to her. She stands up and Dominic uses the capsule to put the device away. As they have their sentimental moment, I sigh, pet Chocolate and wipe my sword off with a cloth before quickly applying some oil to it using a identical looking soft cloth. It's a special oil that lasts way longer than your typical sword oil does. And I yell as I put the oil and cloths away: "Damn it. The enemy is coming in-" I'm pierced through the heart by a black tentacle. The familiar laughter of Black Storm permeates throughout the sky itself. I pull the tentacle out of me with some struggle and other than a lot of pain, I'm doing fine. The Sailor Guardians gasp at this development. Sailor Moon shouts to me: "Hey, are you okay?!" "I'm fine. I'm already dead so even if my heart is pierced, I won't go down that easily. *fixes armor with Repair* That's better. I'll be alright. As long as I tolerate this pain." Before she could reply, Black Storm appears in full and begins to wreck havoc even harder than before. "Come on, you youngsters! We have to take things up more than a notch!" "Or maybe you could just allow us to help finish him off for real! I'm going to enjoy the research I get from this!" We look around. The first thing I see is a familiar pirate ship and UFO. "Arrr! Time to make our enemies walk the plank figuratively! My fellow pirates, fire the cannons!" The cannons are fired. "Let's have some fun! Go, Odd Eyes! Lead the way! Let's put on a show no one will ever forget!" "This is war. This is no time for fun. Whatever. Shadow Stitching Jutsu!" "Rasenshuriken!" "Time for them to get a taste of my art! Art is an explosion!" "Galaxian Explosion!" "Hehehehe! My turn! I don't need candy right now!" "I WILL CRUSH! AND CARLOS, STAY OUT OF TROUBLE!"
"I won't need Katsuya again for a while. I won't hold anything back!" "My quirk is going to make our enemies float and float and float!" "Ribbit! Be careful everyone!" "DIE YOU BASTARDS! DIE DIE DIE!" Sailor Moon exclaims: "What's going on?! Who are all of these people and others?" A bunch of Tomapieians run past us to throw cheese and sauce at the enemy as hot pocket spaceships are intentionally crashed into the enemy forces. Even the Guardians Of The Galaxy have arrived to help in their ship. Superman meanwhile crushes some foes with a entire building. Eugeo's Blue Rose Sword freezes other enemies solid. Whis appears: "Ah, you must be Sailor Moon. It's a pleasure to meet you. Thanks to a certain someone, we were able to all come here to help and prevent this world from sharing the fate of Raphtalia's World." Bulma shows up with some gadgets in her hands while taking a fighting position: "We'll explain later. Right now, we gotta win and fast!" I nod in confirmation. It didn't take long for the entire might of the BRAINS Collective besides some gods holding back for previously explained reasons to decimate the remaining enemies. Black Storm screams in pain as he's forced to retreat: "This won't be the last time you see me! I will be back! Revenge will be mine no matter how many dimensions you try to 'protect'! Mark my words!" He vanishes through a portal.
*Meanwhile at Don Thousand's castle* Don Thousand's loyal servants bow before the Barian god. He glares at them. Especially at the empty chairs where some of his servants once sat until more recently. A recovering Roget was bowing most respectfully at his feet. Black Storm appears before the villain, completely beaten and humiliated. Don Thousand glares at him even more than the others before speaking: "Failures like you are why I have spent so long planning my plans for the entire multiverse. I do not appreciate when any of you fail. Roget, you were most useless especially. You get one more chance. If you succeed with an invasion, you will continue to live. But if you fail, I won't hesitate you to feed you to the newest denizens of my empire. Each of you has failed over and over again to take over very many universes. We've only taken over Raphtaila's World, Pokémon, the 'Disney universes', Star Trek, the Fusion Dimension, the Synchro Dimension, and a few other universes. My growing army proves itself to be mostly useless and incompetent. Listen to me, all of you. Especially you, Black Storm. You will do better in your next invasions if you don't want to have what happened to Windy, Lightning, Subtilizer, POH, Death Gun, Quinella, Oberon, Herobrine, Entity303, Erebus, Malacoda, and PAMA happen to you as well. For now, you will train my troops to be better at what they're doing. Mr. Wertz, Venamous, Gero. The virus androids better be ready soon. I grow tired of waiting for results. The first wave of them was completely destroyed by the Saiyans alone. Do not disappoint me. All of you are dismissed. But, Black Storm. You are coming with me because you have proven yourself a weakling by failing the way you did. I will give you a better chance of not messing it up just like with Roget." Roget, Black Storm, Mr. Wertz, Dr. Gero, Count Venamous, Doktor, Yappa Yappa, Mr. Heartland, Tomura Shigaraki, and the other villains nod and split up to do their own things. *Back to Swiftdrawer*
Naruto yells: "That bastard! He got away!" Athena speaks: "It is fortunate we didn't lose many universes to the enemy." Abstractoa nods: "You're right. More drastic measures have to be taken in order to safeguard the multiverse. Minenabis, now that you've chosen to act, we're going to see some more changes around the multiverse." Biara speaks up: "This war is only beginning. Security measures in Link VRAINS are being enhanced now that the Cardinal System has been integrated into its systems. The broader Duel Links is having those same changes being made to it." Tsunade adds: "We need to create better and more defenses for more universes." Ovenzilla adds to that: "That will require us to recruit more individuals into BRAINS. I hope we can recruit some from even worlds we weren't able to save if at all possible." I speak up myself: "As cliche as it may sound, we might actually need some of the heroes and primary icons that belong to the Disney multiverse who are merely fictional characters in my world. The main things that trouble me though are things like the Song Of The South universe considering the movie is one of the darkest parts of Disney's history and the fact that Walt Disney, the man who introduced the most iconic of the Disney universes to my world was.. *sigh* Well, he was a participant in helping the US government's Red Scare BS in the 1950s. That means his works are tainted with some amount of things that we consider problematic in our collective. Hopefully, his interpretations of the universes he created stuff about weren't 100% accurate. Since those universes have fallen, we end up facing the likes of Barian Donald Duck or Barian Olaf... Let's leave it at that."
Soon after that, we work together to clean up Glass' World and comfort the citizens. It was decided to invite the Sailor Guardians to join our collective and to hold a collective wide meeting in our space station with ALL of our members for once in a different time space than normal. They accepted after some of us explained it to them and so now, we were gathered in the space port portion of the station. In the meeting, we went over how things have progressed since the start of the Infinityverse incident since it had just been finally ended. We were able to avoid altering the affected universes' timelines for the most part but the scars of the incident just simply couldn't be erased. As knight envoy of BRAINS, I was obligated to speak at the meeting. When I spoke, I finally told everyone: "I'm a dark knight now." The reactions were mixed. Members from universes that had become more in tune with anarcho-socialism like Miitopia were supportive. Most were nervous however, especially from the likes of the Sailor Guardians and Athena's Saints. "Now now, everyone. It's alright. I haven't abandoned my principles to become a true warrior of darkness. I would never do such a thing. It just basically means I'm a little stronger now and can start harnessing my inner darkness without having to fight it all the time. I accept my darkness and yet it continues to try to take control of me. I've gotten a lot better at controlling it. But I need help. My soul has been damaged from all the times I've totally lost it and became controlled by my inner darkness. So if anyone can mend my soul, I need you to help me because the destruction of a soul is the true death of a person.. Once a soul is destroyed, it's nearly impossible to get back. I want to be able to keep serving the people and space-time with all of you.. I don't have anything else to add for the meeting. Everything I could have added was already mentioned." I get a lot of nods of understanding. Herbsalvin who is sitting next to me puts their sword arm around me.
Andromeda quietly runs over to me and positions themselves onto my chest. Soon, the meeting concluded. Cardinal and Bray were among those to come find me after the meeting. Seeing this, Dominic waved us over to the laboratory on the space station and we went inside. Kikuoka was another who came to me. He says: "So if I'm getting this right, your soul/fluctlight has been damaged due to your inner darkness. When that happens, it's because your negative emotions run high, causing behavioral and neural changes to occur within you. I wonder if we could build and use an STL here to repair your soul. We were able to save Kirito's brain and then.." "His socialized personality too. Is that the term you were looking for?" "Yes, Swiftdrawer. Thank you. Anyway, would that work in your case?" "I unfortunately have no idea." "It's intriguing. My dear friend's case is very different from Kirito's. It's more like a split personality has formed as a being with real dark power inside. It's another part of your soul, Swiftdrawer. Naturally." "That's very bad news for me or would be if I didn't already know that fact." Many other experts in souls, neurology, and other related fields had come in to discuss. Even Varmundt and Bonnie shared their insights. But then, Bulma came in with something. It had a haunting aura. Bray felt it and immediately said: "We need all available mages immediately. In this BRAINS Collective, we make sure to take care of our own." Dominic yawns: "I'll go get them. Nah, more like get Blaze, Sonic, and some versions of The Flash to get them. I'll be back with the mages and probably them too." Bray sighed: "Thank you Dominic. And thanks for bringing that, Bulma. Where did you get that?" She replied: "I tried exploring some ancient ruins for a change of pace. It was interesting." "I see. Indeed, that is a change of pace. Excellent exploit. Thank you for bringing this to us. In all my years, I've never seen anything like this before. It's an ancient magical tome but it's different from any we've ever seen or dealt with. It's aura is most concerning. It gives off a worse aura than the Death Note does."
Dominic soon comes in with the mages while trying to keep the speedsters out: "What a nap causation! I don't want to know what'll happen if you come in here when that book is open! Stay back! You can watch from the door." Pirate Blaster was whistling a sea shanty while walking by. I could see him even from inside the laboratory. He stops walking and shouts: "Arr! You better do what Dominic says! It's for the best, his judgement must be trusted! I've seen many things on the many seas I've sailed on. And let me just say that my fellow pirates and I didn't enjoy dealing with ancient artifacts. Almost got killed a number of times just touching them. If it weren't for our finest sailing skills, one of them surely would have gotten all of us a long time ago! But I'll still watch this all myself." That got the speedsters to stop trying to get into the lab. But Dominic almost pulled Blaze in: "Blaze! I should have made an exception for you. You're a Clock Guardian! You might be able to help them in there! However, I myself am not going in. My knowledge mostly lies in science and space, not so much ancient books. Archeology is something I should have studied more." Blaze nods and walks inside. Bray speaks: "Okay, anyone besides Swiftdrawer who isn't a mage must leave this place immediately. This laboratory is the safest location on the entire space station. Fortunate for us. This will be intriguing." After a couple hours of research and spells, those who can use magic are able to work together to repair my soul. Dominic walked in and humorously said to me: "Now that the soul damage has been fixed.. Your medication is to stay away from losing control again. *gets more serious* That was a long process. What a nap causation. Everyone, please exit the laboratory. Myself and the other scientists have to work like clockwork to build and invent like never before because it's going to take a lot more than we thought to deal with just the next invasions."
We all do so and I thank everyone who helped me from the bottom of my heart. After that, Herbsalvin approached me: "How did it go, my knight in shining armor? I haven't heard anything yet." "It went well. It took a while though and it's seriously so late now. I'm so tired. As long as we aren't needed for saving any universe right now, I'm going to eat, shower, and go to bed. But I wonder if I should start living here onboard this space station or continue living underground in Miitopia. Actually, I'm just going to stay in Miitopia still. Besides, we haven't even merged the rooms we have claims to on this ship yet. Again, it's so late." "I agree. Let's go back to Miitopia." And so, we teleport back to the Miitopia BRAINS base. I sighed: "The real war has only just begun. We haven't seen anything yet. I'm not looking forward to what's to come." "None of us are. We will have to pull through." "Or die with dignity while trying to bring down as many foes with us as possible. Don Thousand's ambitions are even more fascist than Pmurt Nedib. Brainwashing people and killing anyone who isn't loyal to you is bad enough. But Don Thousand is not only doing that. He's also having the people being killed for him be turned into Barians after they die, thus being literally programmed to serve him. I'm just glad my body and gear are all in as great as shape as they can be again." They nod and we eat dinner with some of our comrades, trying to rest and enjoy ourselves before what's to come. I almost take my armor off but choose not to until I get my shower. And then, I'll put it back on along with my other stuff as usual. I would never wear armor all the time in my other body. I just can't. As dinner is finished up, a lot of clinking and clanking could be heard from various armors: mine included. Herbsalvin and I shared the shower again. As we prepared to dress back up, they said: "Swiftdrawer, would you care for a couple of rousing rounds of thrusting?" "Which kind?" "Both." "Aye. Sounds good. I may be tired but I can't pass on this opportunity. We haven't been able to do em in ages."
And so, we armored up and I laughed in amusement as our capes sort of touched each other. "Huzzah! Even our capes like each other!" We shared a lot of laughter and made a lot of jokes as well as suggestive things because there are some minors in the BRAINS base. We don't need to expose them to not PG adult humor.. After a few minutes, we enter one of the training rooms. There's no one in there besides us. I lock the door behind us: "We don't need to be disturbed. We must embody the virtues of persistence and patience which are virtues often overlooked in the context of knights like us. And for us to embody them, we must not be interrupted in practicing our thrusts. It never hurts to and honestly, both of us need to work on how we thrust. Shall we do both types of thrusting here?" "Indeed we should. Then, we will be able to go to bed sooner. Not let us make haste and begin!" "I'm ready when you are! En garde!" On the way to our shared room, we were sweaty despite the anti-heat parts of the insides of our armors that they were redesigned to contain. "So sweaty. Reminds me of when my friend Velocity couldn't hear a thing in fursuit as she needed to have 2 fans in it back at AnthrOhio in May." "That story shall never get old." "Aye." As we continued to walk, Julia came up to us just to say: "You two sure shouted huzzah in there a lot!" She gets poked by a smiling Carlos who is eating chocolate. She runs after him to poke him back. I laughed: "Huzzah? Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah! ..For once, we're being total goofballs. It's good to have that. We need this nonsense. It will help me not lose control of myself to my inner darkness tomorrow." "Of course. *transforms into pegasus* I believe this will do nicely for our time in the bed tonight." "It's been a while since we've slept together with you in that form. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to check up on Andromeda and Chocolate."
Soon, we get to our room and fall asleep. In the morning, we get up and eat breakfast. And Fluffy Afro does a stand up comedy routine in a jester outfit. He even joked: "You know why we have virtually 0 jesters in our collective? Because they aren't real! Just like Ohio!" He broke me. I burst out laughing and ended up face palming as it dawned on me the full meaning of the joke. I was laughed out and a little shocked for a while. And then, right as he was going on about a story of the worst adventurer of all time, I yelped in pain: "Owwwwww!" Fluffy added it to his set: "And as Flumpy the Warrior-Jester question mark? walked through the woods, occasionally falling on air and being attacked by invisible guns, they heard Swiftdrawer say: 'Owwwwww!' And continued walking because suddenly, a bunch of invisible murder hornets attacked!" I yell: "Fluffy! This is serious! I'm being called to save a dimension! Time to find out what it is." "And Flumpy even heard Swiftdrawer yell: *repeats what I just said* They laughed and continued being hurt by the murder hornets by walking away from them. As they lost consciousness from being attacked by the murder hornets- Owwwwww! I'm in pain too! *pulls our frying pan* Show's over! I hope I won't have to spill much blood.." All of us in the base ended up going somewhere. Herbsalvin, Chocolate, and I ended up finding out we were among those who had to go to the Yugioh Abridged universe. We went there while expressing astonishment that they'd even attack THAT universe. We teleported to Domino High of all places. Tristan Taylor yelled: "Holy bleep on a bleep sandwich! There's aliens! They've come to eat our brains!" Tea slaps him: "Don't be a doofus, Tristan! They're not aliens!" Joey yells: "What's that in the sky?" Kaiba looks up at the invading army and yells at them: "Shut up Mokuba! Go home!" Mokuba blinks several times: "But Seto! I'm right here! And I don't want to go home!" "Mokuba on the ground, be quiet. I'm talking to Mokuba in the sky!" The 3 of us looked at each other. I made a vow to never write about the resulting adventure because of multiple reasons. One of which is I knew there would be too much stuff to write about about the war in the future to bother writing about it. Another is well.. Self explanatory..
