Chapter 6: Zero Requiem Take Two
Date: October 3rd, 2023
Yappa Yappa keeps ranting and laughing as he continues to hurt Roget. After a couple minutes, he finally finishes him off. Roget's last words were: "You'll pay dearly for doing this to me.. Don Thousand will severely punish you for this. There's nothing you can do to save yourself. I'll see you again in Hell!" Yappa Yappa and I lock eyes even as I collapse to the ground from my injuries right as Roget takes his last breath. Yappa Yappa says: "Swiftdrawer! Now that Roget's out of the way, I'm going to make sure you suffer painfully and slowly! You took more damage than I wanted but oh well! Now I see that I can easily remedy that problem by tormenting your mind first! With all the power I now have, I can easily enter your mind and torment your very consciousness!" "Damn it! You can do that?! This is bad, very bad! I can't fight you anymore in the shape I'm in. I just can't. You win. Do what you want with me, just leave the others alone!" "I can't promise anything except your prolonged pain and suffering followed by the pain and suffering of everyone else as well!" Barla runs towards me and picks me up: "Like hell I'll let you hurt my friend! Now that your friends are gone, it's you and those fake number cards against all of us!" "YOU! I'm going to enjoy killing you too for getting in my way! Drop Swiftdrawer, get out of the way, and let them die at my hands!" "Hell no! I'd rather die alongside them!" Our other comrades close in on Yappa Yappa very quickly. He widens his eyes: "I had no idea just how many of you would dare stand in my way! So be it, I'll make this the greatest bloodbath of all time! Not a single one of you will survive! I'll let Swiftdrawer's body stay mostly intact for now and focus on crushing all of you. Once you're all paralyzed and unable to stop me, I will return to Swiftdrawer and destroy them right before your very eyes! I just can't wait to make all of you suffer!"
Barla smirks: "You know, Roget had a point about you! Look around! Do you think you can really take ALL of us?! Hell no you can't!" Yappa Yappa looks around but laughs: "You underestimate me! I can take you all on!" He instantly defeats her, forcing her to drop me onto the ground. She starts bleeding from her injuries. Yappa Yappa grins sadistically: "I can't have you dying on me just yet! Blood Block!" He reveals another new attack that prevents Barla's blood from flowing out of her body anymore. After that, he goes after everyone else and starts defeating them one by one. However, it wasn't as easy for him to do as he thought. Yappa Yappa deals with a lot of resistance against what he is trying to do. As a result, it becomes obvious he has no idea just who he is dealing with. Our reinforcements have greatly bolstered our numbers since the last time he tried to destroy me before Charles vi Britannia ended up showing up from seemingly nowhere. I cough heavily from my injuries and grimace: "I can't die. I'll be here a while, still thinking and feeling but unable to move." After some time, the tables get turned on Yappa Yappa as those who can still fight converge on his location at the same time while unleashing attack after attack. He was not expecting this at all. As a result, he begins to take actual damage. After a few minutes, he becomes completely overpowered and outmatched by the sheer combined strength of everyone who can still move. While the rest of us suffer on the ground, they fight head on to protect us alongside the innocent and space-time. Before our eyes, Yappa Yappa starts succumbing to their combined might. He is simply unable to effectively fight back anymore. Even with all of his power, he just can't keep up with those fighting him.
I didn't see much of what was happening from my position so I mostly relied on my Ki sense and hearing to figure it out. And then, the moment of truth happens. Yappa Yappa screams and collapses to the ground: "No no no no! This is impossible! This can't be happening! I was so close! So close! AAAAAA! I was going to destroy and kill all of you! I'm losing! My plans! My fun! It's all gone and ruined! If I can't win, then I won't let you win either! This planet will take the full force of the remainder of my strength! You'll all die with me when this planet is destroyed! I won't allow anyone to survive my power here today!" He channels all of his power into one of his fingers, points it at the ground, and prepares to fire it. However, someone shoots that finger off, causing the blast to explode on the ground instead. Thanks to Quantum Leap, all of us are teleported even if we can't move away from the blast. It was already over by the time the teleporting was completed. In the aftermath, a huge new crater was formed inside the preexisting one as well as the newer one from earlier. Silence falls. Even in the twilight of near midnight, it was clear just how big the explosion was. If Yappa Yappa had been able to control its motion, it would have blasted all the way through even this Earth's solid iron inner core. The planet would have collapsed from the resulting explosion and damage. We would have all been obliterated with the planet if that had succeeded. But one question remained: where is Yappa Yappa? Was he destroyed? I don't think anyone knows. And then, Barla manages to find enough strength to run towards where Yappa Yappa was last seen.
Once there, she shouts: "Still alive but very weak! Hell yeah! We beat him! And I'll make sure he dies right here and now! He has to!" Yappa Yappa weakly yells: "I wouldn't do that if I were you! I can feel it! The fake number cards will be arriving soon! You have bigger problems than my survival! Don't waste your energy on killing me of stopping those cards really are your priority! I don't know who shot my finger off but once I do, they'll be the next person I kill! Destroying Swiftdrawer can wait until I get my revenge on them for what they did to me!" Barla sighs: "You will live but like hell will we let you just walk away!" Tsunade yells: "That's right! Katsuya, capture Yappa Yappa!" Katsuya listens to her and uses her body to capture Yappa Yappa. In the meantime, my comrades disperse to help those of us who can't move and start preparing for the fake number cards set to appear in the sky above us. I end up being helped back up by Tsunade who also helps me drink the potions I need to regain my full strength as well as heal myself. Once I feel better, I speak: "Thank you very much for your help, Tsunade. Now that I'm all good to go.. I cast Repair! *my armor and everything is repaired* Now I can pick my fallen gear back up." "Of course. I'm glad to help you. Now then, I'm going to help assist some of the others. Be ready to do what you can about the fake number cards. Communications are deciding on what to do with Yappa Yappa right now." "Aye. I shall do so." I pick up my belt that has my ender pouch, gun holster, and scabbards as well as my sword, daggers, and gun. Reattaching it, I sigh of relief: "Thank goodness this wasn't caught in Yappa Yappa's redirected attack. I better go check to see if Katsuya still has him successfully contained or not. I never could have foreseen a successful capture of him of all things."
Using my Ki, I direct myself to Yappa Yappa's location as I wasn't really able to see where he ended up after the explosion. I had assumed he was right where he was before it but I was wrong despite my confidence in the supposedly correct information. Once I reach his location, I speak to the clone of Katsuya holding him: "Katsuya, I realize I need to help deal with the fake number cards someway somehow. However, I'd like to speak to Yappa Yappa first. How is he and would you allow me the chance to do so?" "Lady Tsunade told me that it was alright to let you see him. I will allow you to speak to him. He is in bad shape but very much alive and conscious." "Thank you so much. I want to try to reach out to him once again. If we can get him on our side, we can finally give him the help he has needed for several years now. His trauma and anger eventually led him to becoming as twisted and nuts as he is now. If it weren't for that, he would probably be a very happy innocent individual or kind and strong willed comrade and BRAINS member right now. He is one of the only enemies we've faced who was hurt and twisted by the cruelty of others. I'm his obsession. I must do this." Katsuya temporarily releases Yappa Yappa from her hold. I catch him before he can fall to the ground. Yappa Yappa looks at me: "Swiftdrawer.. Why aren't you killing me? Why is no one killing me? I hate you so much! I'm going to kill you all!" "Maybe so. But all the current battles in this world are most likely over now. In your state, I have no reason to kill you because you aren't beyond redemption. You can't even drive me into a corner again at the moment. You're too weak to fight anyone. Please, Yappa Yappa. You need help. Your innocence and childhood were forcibly stripped from you."
"Me need help?! I don't need help! I won't listen to what you have to say! You might as well just kill me! I won't accept your help because I don't want or need it!" "Yappa Yappa.. I first learned of you because my thought process ended up causing me to create an artwork of you for a character design project about a year and a half ago. My imagination allowed me to learn so much about you. I described you as a menace despite how cute you look in the art I made of you. I care about you. That artwork is now in a physical art portfolio I have in my world. Please, just try to trust me. I can help you find the help you need. You were left alone for so long that your feelings consumed you and completely altered your personality. We had no idea you were out there suffering. Your home world was freed when the SDL's empire began to collapse 4 years ago. But that didn't help your mental state. I know just about everything that has happened to you. Please, let me help you find help." "Never!" "Yappa Yappa, I think you're in denial. Can't you see that your mentality isn't healthy? I'm no psychologist but even I can see that. If your people are anything like humans, you weren't raised or born to be a sadistic killer. It's that simple. You deny how alone and isolated you've felt. Instead of letting yourself cry, you embrace your misery like it's your greatest form of pleasure. Misery is felt because of how the bodies of humans and countless other species of sentient life forms are designed to react to dangerous situations and other such things. Pain is caused by signals that run through the nervous system and into the brain. My emotions largely run on hormones and other substances. Dopamine comes hand in hand with pleasure for example. You deny your pain by enjoying it. That's not good."
"What do you know about my pain?!" "Not as much as you do but well enough. I've been through so much suffering myself but let me tell you something. The most poor and marginalized people have been through even worse pain than I have in my interdimensional adventures. I don't suffer 24/7 but many of them practically do. And so do you. Do you even really have people you truly care about? You're a social creature. That means you need love and social connection." "I have friends!" "What kind of friendship is born out of a love for killing and destruction? You can't find a true friend in that! You know what happens when bullies make friends with bullies? They bond over a shared love of hurting others but that's not how people were meant to forge bonds." "..I.." Yappa Yappa is speechless and bursts into tears. I put him down, help him stand back up on his own 2 feet, and hug him. Mel appears and walks towards me. It's clear she has something important to tell me. I give her a gesture to wait a few minutes because what I'm doing is so important. My fellow knight nods in understanding. "Yappa Yappa, this is what you've needed this entire time. You had a happy life with a good family for such a long time. But you've been broken by so much that you can only find joy in causing pain and destruction. It's not right. What happened to you should have never been allowed to happen. You don't have to hang with people who are only your friends because you all enjoy causing misery. It's like you're alone deep inside. And you don't have to be alone anymore. Let me be your first true friend in several years." ".." Mel moves closer to me: "Swiftdrawer, a virtual vote has been cast. We have decided to vote in favor of taking in Yappa Yappa. You don't have to request we do so. We have already chosen to allow it. The vote began as soon as you spoke to Katsuya."
"I see. Thank you for telling me personally. This is exactly what he needs. He must be quietly deeply afraid of disobeying Don Thousand after hearing Roget's words. He did kill Roget brutally not that long ago after all." "I agree with you. There is also another matter of importance that I need to speak to you about. You are being requested along with many others to begin helping eliminate the fake numbers in high density and medium density populated areas on this planet before they can reach the ground." "Mel, I'm not sure if there's anything I can do to help. The plan is to wipe them out as soon as we see them in the sky but none of my attacks have that kind of range." "That was in fact the original plan. But we also voted to amend it not that long ago. We are all being asked to eliminate them even if they have already reached the ground." "I see. I'm going to wait to help until the fake numbers get into my maximum range. For now, I'm going to stay right here with Yappa Yappa. Please inform the others." "I will do so. I understand your intentions but please do not break your promise. We need all the help we can get to destroy the fake numbers." I nod: "I shall not." "Then I will go where I am needed next. See you, Swiftdrawer." "Bye, Mel. I hope to see you again soon." She teleports away. I notice that Yappa Yappa is still crying: "Hey, Yappa Yappa. It's going to be okay. You don't have to fear Don Thousand anymore. We can hide and protect you from him. Just give your word and change sides. I'll make sure that we help you." "..." "You don't have to speak. Let your actions speak for you. Use them to show me how you truly feel on the inside." I just keep hugging him for a while before seeing the fake number cards start to get really close to the ground. In that time, I kept consoling and comforting him. Seeing the fake number cards, I say: "Yappa Yappa, I have to let you go for now. These fake number cards have to be destroyed before they reach the ground if possible."
I let go and he just stares at me blankly with tears continuing to come out of his eyes. "I don't know who or what to love or hate anymore.." "That's okay. Just stay there and don't do anything. Let yourself sort through your thoughts and feelings. I'm sure you'll come to the resolution that most closely speaks to how you truly feel in time. Just give yourself the chance to consider everything. Please." He doesn't reply. He just continues being in the state he's in. I gather the rest of my Ki in my hands to generate a Kamehameha blast. After some time, it is successfully formed. "It seems I was entrusted to destroy the fake numbers above this entire crater. I don't sense anyone else here but Yappa Yappa. Even Katsuya has left. I guess she felt it would be best I keep watch over him from now on for the time being. But I can't slack. Here we go.. KAAAAAAAAAAAME HAAAAAAAAAAAMEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" I release my Kamehameha blast and move my hands around to be able to eliminate as many fake numbers as I possibly could with it instead of having it only destroying a set number of them due to being fired at just one specific direction. When my Ki almost runs out, I pant heavily and stop the blast. After that, I run to the other side of the crater. Once I stop, I draw my sword: "I'm not done yet! Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 48! Infinite Pain! Piercing Darkness! Continuous Air Slice Slash: 20!" I move around and continue using my sword attacks to once again eliminate as many fake numbers as I can. I was even able to wipe out a bunch that were above the immediate area surrounding the crater. When I was done, I was almost completely exhausted. However, I was dead set on continuing what I was doing so I ended up using up all my potions to keep restoring my energy and strength in order to keep the operation up.
When I ran out of potions and couldn't destroy anymore fake numbers without draining the last of my energy, I teleported back to Yappa Yappa. His state has not changed since I last saw him. "Yappa Yappa, I can now continue comforting you as long as it takes. Until I'm cleared to leave this world, I will- Hold on, it looks like I'm getting a communication. I wonder from who and from where. I need to answer it." I walk a little bit away from him and answer the call on my phone: "Hello? Yes, it's Swiftdrawer. I did my best to eliminate fake number cards without driving myself to complete exhaustion after running out of potions. What is it?" "What a nap causation. Of course you did that. Anyway, I'm calling to tell you that Lelouch vi Britannia has been asking for you. Please teleport to him. We have him here with us because it would be a real headache if the public of the Code Geass universe found out he helped save the world. That and we're trusting you to help work out a plan to finish his Zero Requiem successfully. After all, you are among the few in our member base with almost full knowledge of Zero Requiem. It's a nap causation but even I don't know the full details of Zero Requiem. Lelouch mentioned you promised to help him." "I understand. I'll be over shortly." I say goodbye to Yappa Yappa for now and teleport to Lelouch. "Lelouch, I am here now." "Interesting group all of you have going on. You promised to help me, will you uphold your promise or will you turn on me like many before you?" "Aye, I will keep it. It's clear that we need to make sure you still get assassinated but with the chaos that has happened in your world, your Zero Requiem has become greatly complicated. The Black Knights run free so you have few political prisoners locked up now."
After some discussions with Suzaku, Lelouch, Kallen(who was informed of Zero Requiem before I saw her back Lelouch earlier alongside Suzaku), Dominic, and various BRAINS members, we came to a elaborate plan. After the plan was completed, I came back to the crater to get Yappa Yappa. I dropped him off in a temporary BRAINS base underneath Tokyo that was established because we had a feeling the fight for the Code Geass universe was not yet over. Once there, a BRAINS mage put him under a sleep spell for the time being. With that done, I ended up waiting around for something bad to happen. But nothing happened. We managed to save the world from being merged like Raphtalia's World was. By the time I dropped Yappa Yappa off, people who were infected by the fake numbers as far as we could tell were all taken care of before much damage could be done. However, a lingering fact kept us on edge: we couldn't get to every single person who picked one of the fake numbers up despite the sheer number of them that we managed to successfully destroy. Until the Zero Requiem succeeded, I had no choice but to hang around Tokyo on standby in case something happened and to be there when my moment to speak on worldwide television was to start. I had a sleep replacement potion as well as some bread and oranges I brought along in my ender pouch for nourishment. That was my breakfast. I wandered into a part of what was left of Tokyo where huge TV screens were on buildings. I wore my Akatsuki cloak to hide my armor as well as my cape and tabard style cloth(I removed them and then put them back over my armor). No one knew it was I, the person who was the first individual to disrupt the postponed assassination of Lelouch. And then, Lelouch's face showed up on the big TVs: "Citizens of the world, it is I, Lelouch vi Britannia, 99th emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire. Today, I have chosen to make an announcement to the world. Yesterday, many cities were attacked and the prisoners that were to be executed in public were freed in the midst of the chaos."
The people around me looked visibly afraid of him: "My father, Charles vi Britannia managed to come back and seized back the throne. However, I have once again killed him and returned to the throne of Britannia. Listen well, I will not tolerate anymore dissent. If anyone tries to rebel against the empire, they will be arrested and publicly executed on the streets. A bounty has been placed on the heads of each of the escaped Black Knights. I don't care about the unknown invaders who attacked the entire world. If you capture or kill a wanted member of the Black Knights, you will be rewarded greatly. Furthermore, Britannia and all of its territories and colonies will be under martial law beginning with a curfew starting at 8 PM tonight. Any media created as opposition against me will be seized and the owners and creators of said media will all be put to death. Do not resist my authority. If you do, there will be harsh consequences for you. That is all for now." I mutter to myself: "In just a couple hours, the United Federation of Nations will be host to me on another worldwide broadcast. Ever since my appearance, the world has been perplexed and confused about me. Much of the media's attention is on me because of when I appeared yesterday." Thus, I was at a UFN meeting a couple of hours later. Kallen was also there as another special guest. The Black Knights and UFN had just broken away from Lelouch's control during the battles all around the world so this was exactly what needed to be done. The chair of the UFN, Kaguya Sumeragi smiles once the meeting begins. She has black hair, green eyes, a forehead jewelry item, light skin, and a long white, pink, and red dress. Her age is 15. After some time, she speaks up: "And now for the portion of this meeting the entire world has been waiting for. Today, the mysterious armored knight who appeared in Tokyo yesterday will speak as will Kallen of the Black Knights."
After a few moments, I speak first after I remove my helmet to reveal my face after I step out of the shadows of the building we're inside of. I get close to a microphone: "Greetings, people of the world. I am Swiftdrawer. I am a knight carrying on the tradition of the armored warrior. However, I don't serve royalty or any authority. I merely serve the people and seek a better future for all. I appeared when I did yesterday to counter an invasion that began almost immediately after my appearance. I'm afraid many innocent lives were lost in Tokyo yesterday. But make no mistake, I'm sure many of you have seen videos of me protecting the innocent as well as members of the Black Knights during the first battle in Tokyo. I'm aware of their existence. With that said, I publicly declare my opposition to Lelouch vi Britannia's rule. In just a few minutes, videos will be displayed of others who also helped fight yesterday's battles state the same declaration. We all oppose his authority and wish to see him fall for all that he's done. Euphemia's death is one of the biggest evil deeds he has committed. To gain power, he has lies and manipulated every single person around him. He is cunning, ruthless, and controlling. That is all I have to say. Kallen, as one of the Black Knights, I'm sure you have something very motivating to share as well." "I do. Thank you, Swiftdrawer. You too, Kaguya. The Black Knights will always oppose what Lelouch is doing. This is not what his sister, Nunnally would want. I hate Britannia as much as anyone but even I recognize what Nunnally would say about her brother if she were here. We, the Black Knights want freedom for everyone who has ever been oppressed by Britannia. And Lelouch stands as a symbol of how evil Britannia is! The Black Knights oppose his rule and we always will. Make no mistake!"
Soon, the meeting ends and the next stage in our plan begins. A fake capture of myself, Kallen, and various others is publicly conducted. That evening, we're all chained up on the same kind of vehicles captured Black Knights were just yesterday. We're even dressed in the white and gray prison uniforms. Or at least, it seemed that way. Illusion magic can be handy and time saving. Lelouch once against parades through the streets with the vehicles holding us on either side of his vehicle. It's practically the same set up as before but this time, even popular authors and other dissenters such as leaders of other countries are chained up too. Lelouch plays the part of a smirking tyrant. After some time, all of the vehicles come to a stop. Lelouch stands up and speaks into a mic: "Citizens of the world, it is now time for all these traitors to be put to death! They shall all be executed on my command! And if you don't want to meet the same fate, you will cease all dissent and opposition against me as soon as you possibly can. These prisoners will be your example of what not to do! *some Britiannian Knightmares appear* Knightmares, prepare to fire when I tell you to! My rule is absolute! And soon, the UFN will once again be under my control! Resistance is meaningless now!" But then, a Knightmare carrying Suzaku/Zero appears from high above. It fires on the Britannian Knightmares and destroys them. Suzaku jumps down from the Knightmare and with all cameras pointing at him, he draws his sword and charges at Lelouch. I made sure those operating the cameras got a close zoom shot of what happened next when we planned everything out. This wasn't just a take two of Zero Requiem, it was also a operation we call in BRAINS: a "restorative timeline correction". That term is a new term that was made recently.
Suzaku stabs Lelouch through the heart and makes the cut go through to the other side of his body. He also destroys Lelouch's mic as an afterthought. I break free of my chains before helping everyone else chained up get out of them as well. Lelouch dies as planned. And then, a video message plays on nearby big TVs. It is broadcast worldwide as well. It features Zero(Suzaku): "By the time you are hearing this message, I have killed Lelouch vi Britannia. May this begin a new era of peace for us all. Let us all unite as one!" I mutter again: "I'm surprised I haven't seen C.C. at all during any of this. Bet she's in the Knightmare that brought Suzaku here. Anyway, it's time for the last part. Someone is going to travel to the future without a number card and return with the resurrected Lelouch. They will also confirm if anything drastically changes in the future. For now, I guess it's time to begin setting up a BRAINS branch in this universe. Mission complete: we stopped the invasions, merge, and put the future back on course." But then, something really bad happens. First, Yappa Yappa appears through a portal before me. Second, a fresh invasion force arrives. Lastly, some of the audience who just witnessed Lelouch's assassination start glowing with Barian power. An emergency alert is issued to all BRAINS members and our allies. "Attention: critical situation has begun in the Code Geass universe. Please send anyone available to it immediately. Repeat: a critical situation has begun. This is not a drill." In the sky, the Millennium Falcon appears along with other Jedi ships. They fight against ships carrying some of our enemies in the sky. I sigh: "Damn it! Evacuations must begin immediately!" Some Avengers, Justice League, and MHA heroes show up. Superman speaks: "We'll take care of evacuations in this area and the rest of Tokyo." The Flash nods: "That's right! Don't worry about it! All of you can go on ahead to fight the enemy!"
I turn to face Yappa Yappa: "Yappa Yappa! Why are you here?" He glares angrily at me before laughing sadistically: "I have made my decision! You had someone put me to sleep but I woke up and found you! I'm going to enjoy killing you! Now that the latest invasion is here, this world will belong to Don Thousand in no time!" "But why? After all of that crying and confusion.. Why did you choose to continue to side with him?!" "Because I love killing so much! Don Thousand never came for me personally or ordered for my execution! He still trusts me to do his bidding! What can be better than that other than finally destroying you and slowly and painfully killing anyone else who must die at our hands, Swiftdrawer?!" "I thought I could save you from this! But it looks like you're going to be difficult.. I don't want to do this but I guess I must slay you! Get ready! I've been resupplied! So I'm ready for whatever you have to throw at me!" "This is going to be so much-" Some ice androids appear and point their guns at Yappa Yappa: "Freeze, Yappa Yappa! You are under arrest for betraying Don Thousand. You will be executed at his leisure. For now, you will willingly come with us if you want to live longer." "What?! No! I didn't betray him!" "Your actions didn't but your words did." "My words?! No! I was just angry when I said what I said! I swear! If you think I'm lying, I'll destroy you too!" "You said the words and you can't take them back. Cooperate. If you resist, we have orders to terminate you ourselves." "Damn you all!" Yappa Yappa destroys the ice androids with rage, pleasure, and despair all written on his face. I've seen few faces as disturbing as his looks right now. "I AM LOYAL TO DON THOUSAND! I WILL PROVE IT BY DESTROYING SWIFTDRAWER!" A bunch of people possessed by fake number cards swarm around me.
"Crap! There's so many. And I don't want to have to kill any of them. I thought we got nearly all of them out before!" Froppy leaps from somewhere and captures many of them with her tongue. I knock out the rest with my sword on time to block Yappa Yappa's Death Pitchfork by concentrating entirely on my defense. It was risky but it managed to pay off. I was surprised that it even worked. Yappa Yappa laughs: "I WILL KILL AND DESTROY EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE IN MY WAY!" Out of nowhere, Venamous appears: "I'm back! And now, let the Virus begin its resurgence! Now where are the Supernoobs?! I'm going to get my revenge for all the things they've done to me in the past!" Virus meteors start falling from the sky and most of them aren't shot down because most of my comrades are unaware of the Virus. After all, it's been a long time since it was a problem. Over 2 and a half years if I'm not mistaken.. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. A mechanical roar is heard. Cell Max.. And then, something happens to all of the people who are currently trying to flee the area but aren't being aided by any of the heroes. They turn into zombified virus beasts and start destroying anyone and anything in their way. Dr. Gero also appears in his modified Android 19 body. He has blue? eyes, white hair(much of it is missing to show his brain encased in some kind of glass), light skin, and a orange outfit. The Red Ribbon army symbol is on one of his sleeves. "It does appear that my genius has succeeded in creating not just virus androids but also zombie virus beasts!" Mr. Wertz appears as a Barian while laughing manically: "Don't forget MY genius! You couldn't have done it without me! Chaos! It's so beautiful! This world will belong to Don Thousand in no time! Now, where are Tyler, Shope, Kevin, Roach, and the aliens?! I'll find them and perform all kinds of experiments on them!"
The Black Knights, including some Britannian troops arrive to help out. The ship known as Albion appears and blasts some of the enemy spaceships alongside the Jedi ships. However, a man skydives from it and ends up between me, Yappa Yappa, and the 3 villains who just appeared. It's Lloyd, largely responsible for the development of the Lancelot Albion. He has grayish blue eyes, lavender hair, a green turtleneck with a lab coat over it, large glasses, and black pants and shoes. He speaks: "I am here to do something I never expected to have the desire to do. Something about the events as of late have gotten my empty heart to fill up a little bit with passion." Lloyd punches Mr. Wertz and engages him in combat. "Hahaha! I'm a mad scientist! You can't hope to defeat me!" "Compared to my inventions, your mad science is nothing. This is going to be interesting. After all, I'm a sociopath." Venamous goes away to look for the Supernoobs. Gero stares firmly at Yappa Yappa: "You will now be eliminated one way or another, Yappa Yappa. Now that my projects have finally come into fruition, Don Thousand no longer has any need of someone like you." "GET OUT OF MY WAY! D-" "Wait, Yappa Yappa! You can't expect to survive if you fight against EVERYONE here. Listen. I know you hate me but please, work with me. Dr. Gero has the ability to absorb energy. That's how he and Android 20 operate." "I DONT CARE! I'LL KILL HIM!" I slip away as they begin to fight each other. I had little choice seeing as how angry Yappa Yappa has become. I turn my attention towards the zombified virus beasts until I remembered Cell Max. Shuddering, I choose to go after that nightmare first. When I saw him, my legs almost turned to jelly. The massive android now looked infected with the Virus and was now even bigger than before. Piccolo, Gohan, and Bulma were already fighting the android. "Damn it! He's even tougher than before! What do we do, Piccolo?!" "Gohan, stay calm!" "Mind if I join in? I won't be much help against Cell Max but I still wish to try."
They nod. But then, Barla enters the fray too. She wasn't alone. "Hell yeah! I brought some backup! Not every BRAINS member who wasn't already here was able to come to this universe but some were still able to!" Kizmel, a dark haired dark elf with blue? eyes, tan ish skin, and light armor speaks. She is a trusted knight of the Lyulsa elves from SAO's Elf War Campaign: "We stand with the forces of man against those who dare hurt the innocent! Onwards, we will fight!" Much of the original Assault Team has arrived along with the elves from SAO. Diavel shouts: "This enemy must be defeated! We must treat it as if it were just like a Floor Boss! Let's go!" Asuna yells: "We can do this! We just have to believe in ourselves!" Sinon encourages: "Stand your ground. We don't know how tough this android is going to be even with all of us working together. I'll use the full firing power of Hecate to make a difference." Kirito adds: "This isn't about surviving a death game anymore! This is about saving what's precious in all worlds! Enhance Armament!" I perform thrusts to try to deal damage against Cell Max. My efforts don't make much of a dent. "Alright then! Try this! Continuous Great Infernal Tornado Slash: 48! This is but a mere reflection of our collective resolve!" Due to not possessing any intelligent life form level of intellect, Cell Max's movements and attacks become as predictable as any Floor Boss's. Asuna shouts: "Get away from Cell Max's right arm! Hurry!" A couple minutes later, I yell: "Watch out! Laser eyes incoming!" Suzaku joins in while piloting a rebuilt Lancelot Albion. Aporia does too: "Feel my despair channeled into a righteous cause! Granel! Wisel! Skiel! Astro Mekanikal!" Sinon smirks once a critical hit is dealt: "We can do this! Don't let up!"
Cell Max, much like some Ni No Kuni bosses and SAO's floor bosses begins rampaging after taking a lot of damage. Bulma exclaims: "Look out! Cell Max has become even faster and more dangerous!" "Blue Rose Sword! Help us! Release Recollection!" Eugeou charges in with his sword. It temporarily puts Cell Max on ice. Hyoga shows up: "Let's make this monster be frozen solid for good! Aurora Execution!" Gold Saint Aquarius Camus nods. He has tan skin, blue eyes, blue-green long hair, and full body gold armor with a blue cape. "Well said, Hyoga! Aurora Execution!" Crystal Saint(revived with science and magic), who taught Hyoga and was mentored by Camus joins the fray too. He has green eyes, light skin, white hair, a white cape, and beautiful ice themed armor of various blues as well as cyan with dark blue resembling crystals in several areas of the armor. "I agree. Diamond Dust!" Zane, the ice ninja comes in using Spinjitzu: "Allow me to assist with your plan! I will use my elemental powers to help freeze this android solid!" Yappa Yappa laughs as he runs to us: "I made Gero cower away like a scared rat! It was so entertaining that I decided to spare him for today! But next time I see him, I'm so going to enjoy killing him! Hahahaha! I'll help because I'm more interested in destroying the creations of Gero and Wertz than killing or destroying any of you right now! This is going to be so much fun! Freezing Pitchfork Blades!" Edyn drops in with Ugger: "I cast Freezing Cold!" Todoroki uses his ice quirk to slide over to use before using it to help further incase Cell Max in ice: "It looks like I'm not too late! Don't worry! There's no way this enemy will be able to escape all of this ice!" Others capable of using ice magic or something like that also appear.
Takius speaks: "While I appreciate your enthusiasm, Todoroki. As a sage, I can't help but feel as though more ice needs to be used to freeze Cell Max. Cold Bolt!!" An unexpected individual speaks next. She has light skin, long silver hair, blue eyes, and a long blue dress: "I never knew that there were other worlds until recently. I will use my powers to aid you all." That was Elsa from Frozen. She was turned into a Barian, killed by Takius in a fierce fight in Paris apparently, and revived and convinced to ally with us. Therese shouts while holding a jewel: "Allow me to help as well! I will use the power of my jewel to further freeze this massive foe in ice!" It goes on until all who can use ice based attacks have done so. From the skies above descends the pirate ship which Pirate Blaster calls one of his homes: "Arr! You landlubbers! Cell Max's all frozen up! Come on, we have to end him! My fellow pirates, fire the cannons! Let's break our foe into pieces!" Cannon fire rains down. "In that case! Haaaaa! Continuous Wind Break Slash: 25! Let's get this done!" "Special Beam Cannon!" "Kamehameha!" "Go, my flowers!" "We'll finish this damn monster at last! Take this, Cell Max! Enhance Armament!" "Photon Stream Of Destruction! Photon Sword: Galactic Nova!" Many attacks follow those attacks. In no time at all, Cell Max is broken into tiny pieces as he has been practically turned to ice. With Cell Max gone, Bulma shouts: "What are you all standing around for?! We have to push our enemies out of this dimension!" Bulma was right. We all disperse with Yappa Yappa sadistically following close behind me. "Yappa Yappa, what are you doing now?!" "I'm going to see and relish in all of the struggles you endure against my former allies and their puppets! When your side wins this battle, I'll start destroying you as soon as you do!" "What happened to destroying me as soon as possible?" "You know as well as I do!" "Oh, right. Well, I hope you change your tune. Because I want to help you find the help you need still." "I DONT NEED YOUR HELP!" "Saying that doesn't tell me anything. Actually, it practically exposes you really do need help."
We come across some virus beasts as well as people transformed into Barians by the fake numbers. We each dispatch several of them before we run into some trouble. They start really fighting back furiously: "Damn it! Why did someone have to desire to become Lelouch someday?! A giant zombified virus Lelouch is one of the most unsettling things I've seen in the past week! Poor person though.. They didn't deserve to be turned into this! I'll free them! Haaaaaa! Yappa Yappa! You don't have to kill them! Just defeat them! Someone will extract the Virus from the virus beasts and that will be it!" He doesn't listen. He kills any enemy we defeat. People turned into Barians, people turned into zombified virus beasts, or virus androids. It doesn't matter. I end up slicing a virus version of the Red Ribbon Army's General White who was originally destroyed long ago in Universe 7. The battle raged on throughout Tokyo. Identical battles were happening around the world as well. I sweat: "Damn it! There's no end to our enemies! How many innocent people did they manage to forcibly transform into our enemies?! Ha! Ha! Get back! I need space!" It seriously felt like there was no end to them. But then, Yappa Yappa charged an energy blast and used it to obliterate every enemy we were fighting as well as the entire surrounding area. He was pleased with himself: "No more holding back! Killing all of them so quickly was so much fun! I'm going to do it again!" "Yappa Yappa! Are you nuts?! You're going to destroy the entire city along with every surviving innocent person here at this rate!" "Hahahaha! Who cares! I want to kill everyone! The innocent can die too! YES! More death! More destruction! More agony! I'm going to have even more fun when I finally destroy you, Swiftdrawer!" He's distracted by his own madness. I use the chance to slice his arms off with the help of Enhance Armament.
"What are you doing to me?! Owww! How did you do this?!" "You were distracted and my sword is as sharp as it can possibly be! But I'm not finished! For what you've done and said today, it looks like I have to kill you! Yappa Yappa! I wanted to save you but I can't! So I have to liberate you by killing you! May you find peace after death! *his arms start regenerating* I will show no mercy except a quick death if at all possible! Yappa Yappa!" I pull out one of my daggers while dodging attacks from him. "SWIFTDRAWER!" I use the dagger to stab him as many times as I possibly can while avoiding his hits. His emotional state has deteriorated to the point it has become easy for me to outsmart and outmaneuver him for the time being. Yappa Yappa isn't even thinking straight anymore with all of the openings he is giving me to attack him through. We continue like this until he doubles over in pain. He screams: "NOOOOO! YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME! IM GOING TO DESTROY YOU ONCE THIS BATTLE IS OVER! YOU CANT!" "Yes, I can. You refuse to listen to me. You deny your problems. You are harming people without any care about them. And you resent me so much that you allowed me to fight you for a good while without dealing very much damage to me. Please, Yappa Yappa. I ask you once again to please hear me out!" "Never! And just kidding! I'm not dying! I've been putting on an act! I let you cut off my arms! I just wanted to put on a show before I destroy you!" I am suddenly restrained by all of his limbs: "What the hell have you done?!" "Now that I've got you, I can take my time to slowly and painfully kill you! I no longer care about the battle! Your words piss me off so much that I just want to destroy you more than watching you suffer at the hands of my former allies! You can't fight me anymore! I got you! I got you! And now, I'm going to destroy and torture you! The world will hear your screams loud and clear!"
"Yappa Yappa! Why do you have to do this?! This can all stop! You don't have to be so cruel!" "I don't care what you think! Everything you say makes me go mad and want to destroy you even more! Killing your precious friends can wait! It will be more satisfying to see their despair upon learning of your destruction at my hands than your despair at seeing their mangled corpses! Hahahahahaha! This is going to be the best day ever! Get ready for your agony! Don't worry, it WONT hurt too much!" He starts squeezing me incredibly hard to the point my armor starts to crack. "Yappa Yappa! This isn't right! Let me go and embrace your true self! Please, you will be a much better person for doing so!" "SHUT UP! ITS TIME FOR YOUR TORTURE AND THEN, YOUR DESTRUCTION! DESTRUCTION!" Time suddenly stops around me. Blaze and my other closest loved ones from outside of my home universe all appear. Blaze speaks: "Awoo! There isn't much time to save you! We gotta do this fast!" Mel nods: "You're right. We are BRAINS members and we don't leave anyone behind." Dominic yawns: "Swiftdrawer. It's a good thing I was still monitoring the situation from afar. I saw Yappa Yappa trick you and knew we just had to come help and save you." Madeline frowns: "IM GOING TO CRUSH YAPPA YAPPA FOR WHAT HES DONE!" Carlos chuckles: "When we're finished, it'll be like you pulled a disappearing act! His expression is going to be priceless!" Barla yells: "Hell yeah! Now let's get to work!" Bray speaks: "Indeed, we must begin. But we must not let excitement cloud our awareness of how desperate the entire situation is. Innocents are being turned and killed left and right. It's an atrocity. This is war."
Herbsalvin nods: "Yes. But Yappa Yappa will no longer be a threat someday. We can have some solace with that in mind." Pirate Blaster smiles: "Arr! We can't delay this any further! Begin the rescue operation!" My dear friends as well as the love of my life work together to free me. Barla grabs my hand right before time resumes. I find myself teleported to a different part of Tokyo. She smirks: "Don't worry about him now! It'll be a while before he can find you again! Now I wonder who will experience the full force of anger now that you're out of his grasp!" "I'm so glad that you all came to save me. You're the people I really needed back there. Yappa Yappa was dead set on making me suffer for as long as he could possibly make me suffer. It was shocking and terrifying. He has become more deranged than ever before. I'm afraid that we're going to have to kill him if he continues to kill indiscriminately and blow up parts of the city just to destroy anyone who gets in his way. I don't want to but if I must, I will help terminate him. It might be for the best, getting him to accept the help he needs would me a colossally hard task as I have found out the painful way." "Hell yeah, it will be. But we could still do it." "You're right, Barla. Now, what's going on over here?" "Fight against the same kind of enemies you saw Yappa Yappa obliterate." "Of course.. This is war. Fighting becomes top priority and inevitably, good people get caught up and die in the midst of the conflict. Wars are horrible and disgusting. So much bloodshed and destruction. We won the Miitopian Civil War but the suffering caused by it has been incomprehensible. I wish war would become a thing of the past. But if it must continue, we'll fight the corrupt and protect the innocent and space-time."
"Hell no to war! If we could avoid it in the future, we would! But right now, we can't!" And so, I end up fighting alongside her and some others. That was until something very strange occurred. All of our enemies suddenly stopped fighting us like they just spontaneously lost interest in trying to destroy us all. "Hell no! This can't be good! Why are they all headed in a single direction?! Wait, ain't that the direction you and Yappa Yappa were earlier?!" "What in the?! I'm pretty sure everyone can see this happening. We better go that way to find out what is going on. I don't have a good feeling either.." She nods. We teleport closer to Yappa Yappa's previous location. And well, we weren't the only ones with the same idea. A lot of our comrades did the same exact thing. Venamous appears in front of a whole group of zombified virus beasts as if he's leading them somewhere. That's when we all hear and feel the violence going on nearby. Yappa Yappa screams: "YOU WONT TAKE ME DEAD OR ALIVE! KILL! KILL! MUST KILL YOU ALL! DIE! ALL OF YOU, DIE!" Mel speaks: "Our enemies are trying to remove Yappa Yappa from the picture but he is putting up a resistance akin to that of a blind rampage." I grit my teeth: "He's killing everything in sight then! Crap! If this keeps up, who knows how many innocent people he'll kill! Left unchecked, he could very well destroy human civilization and the entire ecosystem on this version of Earth! What a disaster! Worse of all, every single person who has died since the chaos started here yesterday and wasn't already turned into a Barian has been reborn in Don Thousand's empire as a Barian obedient to him! We can't save people like them without killing them or getting through to them.. This timeline's future has been absolutely f*c*e* with! And I'm not sorry for my language.." We all silently resolve to stop Yappa Yappa and teleport to his location. Pirates Blaster yells: "Stay back, foes! We'll deal with Yappa Yappa! You can just stay back and let us handle him! And then, we can settle our differences!"
Our foes don't listen and continue to try to take Yappa Yappa dead or alive. We have no choice but to join in in what is basically a brawl and bloodbath rolled into one. The carnage and destruction around and below us was beyond words. "Damn it! Damn it! Yappa Yappa! It's Swiftdrawer! Stop this! Stop this now! We can still help you!" "NO HELP! I WILL KILL AND DESTROY EVERYTHING!" Venamous yells: "Go on, minions! Don't be scared of this wild creature! Destroy him and we can be done with this at long last! And then, we'll destroy our other enemies and claim this planet for our lord, Don Thousand! How does that sound?!" That just makes them angry at him. Venamous retreats: "I can't control them! I'm out of here before I get killed here!" And with that, he's gone for now. Mr. Wertz and Dr. Gero are still around and doing fine. Lloyd shows up completely beaten up: "Who knew a insecure and weak sounding mad scientist would be so powerful?!" Barla wordlessly teleports him to the infirmary on the BRAINS space station. I give her a nod of thanks for doing that. I then see her create a huge diversion with her explosives before firing several rounds of ammunition at Yappa Yappa. The diversion allows many of us to flank Yappa Yappa from behind as he has grown to become the same size as an Earthbound Immortal in the midst of his rampage. This caught him off guard, allowing everyone fighting him including me a chance to deal even more damage. It is taken. Yappa Yappa looks pretty beat but he's still slaughtering the enemies created or sent by our main foes. To make things worse, that means he's killing a lot of innocent people. But there's more to it. It's like his raw emotions are greatly increasing his power and they're also causing the Barian crystals within him to go haywire. Thus, why he has grown to such a huge size out of nowhere. We keep fighting him until he is finally being worn down and getting close to being defeated.
But the scene around us was straight out of a horror movie crossed with a war movie.. So much death and destruction.. Yappa Yappa shrinks to his original size but continues to rampage with all of his fury determining every single thing he does. And then the moment of truth. He staggers to the ground: "No! No! I can't let this happen! No! I'm so close to killing and destroying everything! Kill! I want to kill! Kill so badly! Kill! Kill! Kill! I want to make everything suffer! Get out of my way and die, all of you!" He becomes increasing desperate as he continues to weaken while still dealing so much damage to both sides. Our side also suffered losses up to this point. A lot of comrades were almost killed but they are now protected from death by various barriers: both scientific and magical. So they are safe for now and able to recover from what they've been put through. I'm now on the verge of collapsing from exhaustion. Yappa Yappa starts crawling away instead of fighting back after a couple more minutes. He creates a portal. I yell: "Stay here, Yappa Yappa! Again, let us help you!" "NO!" Lapis, a gem with long dark blue hair, blue eyes, a simple dress, and a mostly light blue pigment to her body uses water from the nearest sources to chain Yappa Yappa to the ground. "No! You won't be leaving here! I won't allow you to leave! Now when someone wants to help you as much as Steven wanted to help me!" He starts struggling against her chains and almost breaks them. "Nebula Chain! You won't be going anywhere, Yappa Yappa!" "Swords Of Revealing Light! Spellbinding Circle!" "Kunai With Chain!" Various other spell and trap cards are also used to restrain Yappa Yappa while some of our comrades begin finishing off the remaining enemy forces. Dr. Gero sees this and points it out to Mr. Wertz. Mr. Wertz screams: "This isn't over! We'll get you all for this! All forces, retreat! RETREAT!"
The remaining enemy forces apart from the innocent people who were turned into enemies against their will retreat while the rest are knocked unconscious(even the zombified virus beasts as they still have their brains intact). Yappa Yappa sees this and screams: "I DONT NEED YOUR HELP OR FRIENDSHIP! I'LL DESTROY YOU ALL ONE DAY! I PROMISE! IT WILL BE SO MUCH FUN!" He breaks free of everything binding him in a final show of strength and retreats through the portal he created. We remained in the Code Geass universes for several days to help rebuild, heal, and restore what we could. The surviving innocent people who were turned were restored to normal. The damage to Tokyo and other cities was immense. It took so much effort to rebuild. Nunnally was crowned Empress of Britannia but soon dissolved it, granting independence to many nations and replacing it with the Principality of Britannia. She has light skin, violet eyes, curly brown hair that goes down to her middle back, and a nice pink and white dress. That's what I saw her in anyway. She, Suzaku, Lloyd, Lelouch, C.C., Kallen, Kaguya, and Lloyd are just a few of the many inhabitants of the Code Geass universe who have joined BRAINS. Lelouch was brought from the future or more precisely, right after the events of Lelouch of The Resurrection. Until that future becomes the present time, he will reside on the BRAINS space station alongside the likes of Eugeo, Nagato, Deidara, and Konan since we can't exactly let them live in their respective universes without potentially causing any disruptions to the futures of the them. That's a changed arrangement versus what we had before. But it was necessary. Once we did all that we could for the Code Geass universe without causing any further disruptions to its future, all of us depart. I return to the Miitopia BRAINS base and immediately sit down in our cafeteria. I then put my head down on the table as everything that's happened has been overwhelming for me.
I hear a soft neigh and lift my head to see Chocolate showing concern. "You're trying to make me feel better, huh? Sorry I couldn't work with you on the last mission you did. I had to go to a different universe. What's happened lately is a lot. I don't have much time before I need to go back to Greenhorne Castle. It just never ends, does it? Another sleepless night for me coming right up. I have an assistant cover me when Im away on missions for long but I hate having to burden them with all those responsibilities of overseeing Greenhorne Castle. When the Transitional Socialist Government of Mii World is no longer necessary, my life is going to get easier here. But it's going to take time to finish establishing the communes and rooting out the remaining traces of fascism. The equivalents to the MLs of my world have all been persuaded to change their minds or been taken out of the picture. I'm glad that at least that's done. I never truly trusted them to begin with." Chocolate and I just end up spending some time together to deepen our bond. The bond of a knight and their noble steed. How poetic. This life is hard but I have so many I can turn to for help just as they can turn to me for help. Whatever happens next, we will do our best to pull through it. I'm not alone. And I will one day get Yappa Yappa to come to our side. I swear by my sword Graceful Protector that I will. And I will rely on whoever I must to help me succeed at that.
