ii: bad idea, right?

The black van entered a gated community where the rich people of the city lived. Their lit up mansions lined each other, sometimes making people mistake the lights as shining gold. Eventually, the black van stopped at a certain mansion and Lucy was dragged out of the van.

"Don't say anything when the boss speaks to you. Just nod your head," one of the hooded figures told Lucy as they dragged her inside through the front doors.

Lucy couldn't help but roll her eyes.

The front doors immediately opened up to a grand stairwell and a grand diamond chandelier. Plants were potted against the clean walls and the marble floors were sparkling. Then, sitting at center of the foyer was a dining chair.

Lucy was placed in the chair before the hooded figures scurried away. A man with blonde hair and a designer business suit was leaning against the railing at the top of the staircase and was watching the whole ordeal.

"Lucy," the man said.

She narrowed her eyes at him. "Father."

Jude Heartfilia, her father and head of the multimillion and highly influential Heartfilia Konzern, adjusted the buttons on his sleeve. "Today's our weekly family dinner. You know that today's our weekly family dinner. And you know that you can never be late. Besides, you're late in general! What type of high school student stays out 'till this late!?"

"So you sent men to kidnap me and drag me back?" Lucy asked.

"It's not the first time I've done this!" Jude cried.

"I know! You do this almost every day and it's starting to bother me more than it has in the past!" Lucy cried.

"I'm just looking after my daughter! Is that a problem!?" Jude asked.

Lucy stood up. "Yes! It is! A normal father wouldn't send people to kidnap his own daughter!"

"Because they don't have the means to! I'm crazy rich so I can do as I please!" Jude cried.

Lucy crossed her arms and rolled her eyes.

"Fix that attitude! When you grow up and take over the family business, you can't be rolling your eyes all the time!" Jude hissed.

"Believe me when I say I only roll them at you!" Lucy cried.

Jude stumbled back as if he was just shot. "You look just like your mother but you act the complete opposite! What's up with all of the attitude!?"

"Dramatic for what?" Lucy grumbled.

Suddenly, Jude swung a leg over the railing. "I guess I should just kill myself!"

Maids and butlers who were standing by quickly ran to Jude's side. "Sir, don't do it!"

"Do a flip!" Lucy yelled before storming out of the room.

"Should I just throw in a sex scene and call it a night?" Lucy wondered out loud a few hours later.

The mansion she lived in contained a lot of room such as a game room, a large library, and more. Currently, she was in the theater room and was binge-watching rom-coms. The current rom-com she was watching took place in the regency era and she noticed that the main couple was similar to the characters in her novel, Loki and Aries.

She continued to watch the sex scene being played in front of her on the big screen TV with a straight face and her arms crossed. Her laptop was sitting on the chair next to her, wide open. She had deleted the part Levy was telling her about and was now stuck on what to do.

"No...I shouldn't do that. The people in the movie have a reason. I think?" Lucy sighed and grabbed her laptop.

Her fingers hovered over the keys as she thought of what to type. But as the minutes passed, nothing came into mind.

"You get love confessions almost every day. Just date one of your many admirers and learn about love from them."

She vigorously shook her head. "No! Absolutely not!"

Immediately, she started typing up multiple scenarios based on the movies she watched, determined to prove to herself that she does not need to follow Levy's advice.

It was a common sight to see a limo parked in front of Fairy Tail High. Still, the students who would pass by would often attempt to get a glimpse inside of the tinted windows. They watched as Lucy was gracefully helped out of the limo by her driver.

"Look, she has her hair down today!"

"She's so damn beautiful!"

"If she looks at me today, I think I would ascend!"

"I want her to step on me!"

"Lucy!" Levy cried, waving over to her friend.

Lucy smiled and after saying goodbye and thank you to the driver, she walked over to Levy. "Morning!"

Levy smiled back and hooked her arm with Lucy's. "Did you make it home safe last night?"

"...yep!" All Lucy could do was laugh as she pushed down the annoyance of her father's actions last night rising up inside of her.

She felt the many eyes of the student body on her as she entered the school building with Levy. The suggestion Levy made was still playing in her mind.

Usually during class, Lucy would be on top of it. She'd answer all of the questions she could and would take notes on everything. But there were times she was too busy working on her story to pay attention. Like now.

In her math class, her textbook was opened but along the edge of the page she was on was a possible replacement for the chapter Levy read last night.

Aries and Loki stood next to each other on the subway train

Lucy tapped the eraser part of her mechanical pencil against her chin as she thought of what else to add. Something romantic. Show the attraction between the two of them. But how the fuck do I do that? Subways aren't romantic, but I can't change the scene. It's natural for them to be on the subway right now. So what should I do about this scene?

Suddenly, Lucy's encounter with the pink haired stranger started to play in her mind. She remembered the way he held his hand out for her and the way his hands felt. They were calloused, sure, but at the same time, they didn't feel rough. She remembered the warmth she felt from him and the way his toothy smile had the power to melt anyone into a puddle.

I wonder if he made it home okay, she wondered, looking out the window.

"Wake up!" The teacher yelled.

The teacher was at the very back of the classroom with a workbook in his hands. He stood in front of a student's desk. The student had their head down and due to the way the student did not even flinch at the teacher's words, the student was fast asleep.

"Dragneel!" The teacher hit the student on the head with the workbook. "Stop sleeping in my class!"

The student immediately sat up and placed his hands over his head. "You didn't have to do that, teach! That hurt!"

"Then don't sleep in my class!" The teacher hissed.

"I can't help it! It's boring! You sound like a turtle!" The student cried, earning giggles from the other students.

"Oh, so you're bored? Then I'll give you something to do! Answer the questions on the board right now!" The teacher yelled.

The student groaned. "You've seen my grade in this class! I just can't math!"

The teacher crossed his arms. "Does it look like I care!?"

"Okay, but don't get mad at me for writing something completely off," the student said, standing up.

Lucy was still looking out the window when the student passed her desk. She didn't pay any mind to it.

"Oh shit," Gray Fullbuster said during the lunch break. He dug through his school bag. "I forgot to bring my lunch."

Suddenly, nearly all of the girls in the classroom tripped over desks and each other in order to hand him their lunch. Gray shamelessly took their lunch boxes as they crowded around him. Lucy and Levy, who were a few desks away, couldn't help but shake their heads.

"Now I know damn well that he didn't forget his lunch," Lucy said.

Levy had scooted a nearby chair closer to Lucy's desk so they could share it together. "It's strategy."

Probably sensing that the two girls were talking about him, Gray simply raised his eyebrows at them and smirked.

"Shameless," Lucy said as a male student approached her.

"Um...here. You can have my lunch," the student said.

Lucy blinked. "Oh, no, that's okay. I already have my lunch." I got a five star Michelin chef as my own personal chef at home. How can I not bring lunch from home?

"I insist! It took so much courage to approach a golden goddess such as yourself!" The student cried.

"I'm telling you, I'm fine!" Lucy cried.

The student got on his knees and bowed down as he lifted up the lunch box. "Please, my queen! Take my lunch!"

Lucy stared at the student in disbelief as Levy laughed.

"What are you doing!? Stand up!" Lucy cried.

Suddenly, more male students approached Lucy with their lunch boxes. They also got on their knees and bowed. All Lucy could do was sigh.

While all of this was going on, the same student who was arguing with the teacher earlier swiftly swiped one of the lunch boxes that one of the girls offered to Gray off the desk. Gray noticed the action.

"Ay! Flame brain!" Gray yelled, standing up.

The student simply smirked. "I'm hungry! Can't a guy eat!?"

Gray pointed at the box in the student's hand. "That's mine!"

"Technically, it's not!" The student sat down on top of a nearby desk. "I wonder what delectable goodness is hidden inside...?"

"Bruh! That's my fucking lunch! Do you want me to starve to death!?" Gray yelled, throwing one of the other lunch boxes he received at the student.

The student dodged before looking at Gray with fire in his eyes. "Alright, Ice Princess! You asked for it!"

He threw the stolen lunch box at Gray, prompting Gray to duck. The lunch box hit and knocked out one of the girls standing around Gray's desk.

Gray and the student he was fighting with suddenly charged at each other and engaged in a fist fight with a string of colorful insults on the side. The rest of the students in the classroom stopped what they were doing to watch the fight. Some even brought out their phones to record. Students who were passing by entered the classroom in order to watch the fight.

"They're always fighting," Levy remarked.

Lucy, meanwhile, was trying to figure out what to do with the stacks of lunch boxes she was left with. She wasn't able to watch the fight.

Lucy wouldn't call herself athletic. At the same time, she could still own her own. Running away from the people her father often sends to kidnap her back and the self defense classes she was forced to attend in order to protect herself in an event of an assassination (after all, she is the heir to a multimillion dollar company...things could happen) has conditioned her. However, she could not beat her friend Erza Scarlet.

Her class was currently at PE, specifically on the field. The PE teacher hadn't arrived yet, meaning they had free time until class began.

Erza Scarlet, the student council president, tied her hair up into a ponytail as she approached Lucy who was watching the boys play soccer with Levy by her side. "Lucy! You want to have a race around the track?"

"Nope!" Lucy answered without facing Ezra.

"Wonderful!" Erza happily grabbed Lucy's hand. "We'll run twice around the track!"

"Erzaaaaa...!" Lucy groaned as Erza dragged her to the nearby track.

As Lucy protested, the same student who fought Gray jogged towards the field where the boys were playing soccer. He passed by Lucy who was too focused trying to free herself from Erza's iron grip to notice him.

The student stopped his jog and turned to watch Erza and Lucy. The students who weren't watching the soccer game gathered around the track to watch the two beauties of the school prepare to race each other.

"Ready?" Erza asked Lucy as they stood in position.

"No!" Lucy cried.

"Go!" Erza broke into a sprint.

"I said I wasn't ready!" Lucy cried, sprinting a few second after.

"Oh! Natsu's here! Add him to the game!" One of the soccer-playing students cried.

The student who fought Gray turned when he heard his name being called and jogged over to the area where the soccer game was happening.

Lucy sighed when she saw the love letter in her locker. Levy was leaning against the locker next to her with her thumbs tapping on the phone screen, showing that she was in the middle of texting someone. Most likely, it was Gajeel.

Levy looked up from her phone and saw Lucy reading the letter. "What are you going to do about it?"

Lucy shoved the letter into her school bag. "I'll reject the sender, just like I always do."

"I say you should give them a chance," Levy said, nudging Lucy.

Lucy knew what Levy meant. "But I don't have feelings for them."

"Lulu," Levy urged, calling Lucy by the nickname she came up for her.

"Sorry! Not happening," Lucy answered, closing her locker.

"But when you see results, you'd be thanking me!" Levy insisted as Lucy walked off.

"The conversation's over. Let me go to the place where the confessor wants me to meet them at and reject them in peace," Lucy said, facing Levy as she walked.

Lucy was about to turn forward but she bumped into someone. Immediately, she lost her balance. She grabbed onto the first thing she felt.

"Ow! My neck!" The person she bumped into cries as she dragged the person by the tie down with her as she fell.

Levy stared at the scene before her with a large smile on her face. "...ooh...interesting...how cliche...hehehe..."

Lucy was still holding onto the tie as she laid on the floor. The owner of the tie was on top of her and she noted that he had pink hair.

Hold on. Pink hair?

She narrowed her eye and studied him. Wait, wait wait. She gasped and quickly sat up, accidentally headbutting the person who was on top of her. "You're the guy from the subway!"

"You've met him before!?" Levy asked Lucy.

The pink haired stranger rubbed his forehead. "Damn...you have a thick skull."

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" Lucy cried, unsure of what she could really do.

The pink haired stranger then grabbed his tie and waved it in Lucy's face. "Did you really have to choke me!?"

Lucy cupped her hands over her nose and mouth. "I am so, so sorry!"

The pink haired stranger stood up, now rubbing his neck, and helped Lucy up.

He helped me get on the train yesterday, and in return, I choked and headbutted him. What type of person am I!? She thought as she was risen back on her feet.

Meanwhile, Levy was watching their interaction with a large smile on her face.

"Is there anything I can do for you? Both as thanks for yesterday and sorry about today?" Lucy asked the pink haired stranger.

"What happened yesterday!?" Levy eagerly asked.

The pink haired student pulled out his phone and checked the time. "Actually, I'm kinda in a rush. Later!" Then, he quickly shoved his phone back into his pocket and ran off.

Lucy watched as the stranger turned smaller and smaller. So he does go here. How come I've never seen him before?

Levy hooked her arm with Lucy's. "So...what's going on between you and Natsu?"

Lucy blinked. "Natsu?"

"You know, the guy you were just talking to? Natsu Dragneel?" Levy asked.

"I had no idea who he was until now," Lucy admitted.

Levy gasped. "For real? But he's famous?"

"Really?" Lucy asked as the both of them made their way out of the building.

Levy nodded. "He gets along with everyone so he's popular. And if you have a problem, just go to him. He'll deal with it. His grades are trash but his passion is gold. He's kinda like a hero here. Oh, and he's Gray's rival."

"Girl, I literally have never heard of him or all of this stuff about him before," Lucy answered.

"That's because you're bad at noticing things," Levy answered.

"What!? No I'm not! I notice everything!" Lucy cried.

"Well, you somehow didn't notice Natsu Dragneel," Levy answered. "Then again, I guess popular people sometimes don't notice other popular people. Your auras are too strong."

Lucy furrowed her eyebrows. "Huh? Aura? I don't get it."

"Maybe another reason why you've never noticed him is because he hasn't confessed to you," Levy suggested.

"Oh, so I guess he doesn't have feelings for me," Lucy realized.

"Mm hm!" Levy answered with a frog-like smile on her face.

"Levyyyyy," Lucy whined.

"I know you're thinking the exact same thing I'm thinking and I know that you know that it's a good idea," Levy said.

Lucy unhooked her arm from Levy's. "Levy, no!"

Lucy stared at her laptop screen in sheer disappointment and dismay.

She ended up typing up her interactions with Natsu.

She grabbed the laptop and raised it over her head, prepared to throw it onto the floor of her bedroom. "Wait, no. I have too many unbacked up files on here." She set her laptop down on her queen sized bed and looked through the sheer, pink curtains that draped over her bed like a canopy.

Hugging her legs, Levy's suggestion from the other day played in her head.

Am I seriously considering it?

She thought the same thing as she walked down the halls of the school the next day. Students who were standing around in groups moved out of the way when they noticed that she was walking with purpose in her steps. Whispers as to what could possibly be on her mind rang among the curious but nosy student body and soon, they began to follow her.

Lucy slid open the door of her homeroom classroom and spotted Natsu sitting on top of a desk and laughing and talking with a group of other students. One of the students noticed Lucy approaching their group.

"Oh shi-" Lucy ignored the student and grabbed Natsu's wrist.

"You're free today after school, right?" Lucy asked Natsu.

Natsu stared at her in confusion before nodding. "Uh, yeah. I am. Why?"

"Then you have no choice but to let me treat you as both thanks and sorry. Actually, I have to talk to you about something important," Lucy said.

Ohhhh...this is such a bad idea...!

Random fact: I've only had my laptop for 3 years now but it acts like I've had it for 13 years. When I was typing out this chapter, it kept on freezing so I was scared that it would randomly shut down (it's done that many times before) and I'd lose all of my work

Wassup!? It's ya gurl sugarsugarrush!

I'm surprised that there are people who like this! Thank you so fucking much!

This chapter was supposed to be out literally the day after I posted the first chapter since I wanted to do daily updates but I realized that I won't be able to do that. I'm a student, after all. But I was able to work on this chapter in parts throughout the week. I can't promise anything, but I'll see if I can do weekly updates!

...also...I'm really shy...I was worried that y'all wouldn't like this chapter so I kinda pushed off working on this chapter...just a lil' bit...

Anyways, don't forget to leave me some reviews or PM me! I really hope y'all continue to love this story!
