"How come everyone on campus is so comfortable telling you their deepest darkest secrets?" Babs asks as the group is in the Loo Bru as Hampton and Sweetie come over after Sweetie shares a secret with him.
"Oh ever since I was a p-p-piglet everyone's felt comfortable telling me confidential things." Hampton says as he smiles.
"Have you ever let a secret slip?" Buster asks.
"No! They go right in the vault and don't come out." Hampton says before he gives a blank stare.
"Uh Hampton you okay? Hampton?" Alexis asks as she waves her hand in front of Hampton before he shakes his head.
"Oh. Sorry. Zoned out for a minute there. I'm good now." Hampton says as the group hears a beep.
"I got an email from the mentorship program!" Buster shouts excitedly before Babs and Sweetie hug him while Alexis smiles at him.
"That's great Buster. You've certainly been anxious since you signed up for the program." Alexis says.
"You're getting paired up with an ACME star who's gonna teach you how to toon one on one!" Sweetie shouts excitedly.
"Oh no! I'm too nervous to read it!" Buster shouts in alarm before Alexis takes his laptop as she and Babs open and look at the email.
"Congratulations Buster Filmore Bunny." Babs says.
"Filmore? Now there's a secret worth keeping. Ouch! What was that for Alexis?" Plucky asks as Alexis gently swats his arm with a vine after he laughs.
"Nice shot Alexis. Thanks." Buster says as Alexis smiles.
"No problem. But one problem though for you. You got accepted and all that but it doesn't say who your mentor is. Says you'll find out when you attend the first season with them." Alexis says as she and Babs look at the email.
"It's gotta be Bugs!" Hampton says.
"Buster Bunny being mentored by Bugs Bunny!? It's a dream come true!" Buster says excitedly.
"I don't need a mentor. I'm already a towering perigon of tooning perfection." Plucky says as he smiles and combs through his feathers with his hand.
"Congratulations Buster." Hampton says.
"Yeah. Congratulations. You've earned it." Alexis says.
"I can see it now! Buster Bunny awarded mentorship at ACME Loo! This is definitely going into the Bunny family scrapbook. So all I need is a clip from the school newspaper about it." Babs says as she pulls out a huge book.
*Timeskip*
"Thanks for walking with me here Alexis. I'm really nervous." Buster says as Alexis is walking with him toward the room he is gonna meet his mentor in.
"Don't be. You're gonna do great Buster." Alexis says as she and Buster stop outside a door.
"You think so?" Buster asks as he smiles slightly at Alexis.
"I know so. You've got a lot of talent and your mentor will help bring out your potential further. You've definitely got a lot of more natural talent than me. My birth family wasn't much for the whole funny toon stuff. I didn't get into that until Lola adopted me into her family." Alexis says as she feels Buster put his hand on her shoulder causing them both to blush.
"You shouldn't sell yourself short. Yeah you're way of tooning is different but it's unique. Like you." Buster says shyly causing Alexis to blush more.
"Thanks Buster." Alexis says shyly as she smiles at Buster.
"You're welcome. Well I'll see you later Alexis." Buster says.
"Bye Buster." Alexis says as Buster goes in the room.
"Hey Alexis." A voice says revealing to be Hampton.
"Hey Hampton. Hey could we talk? I need someone to confide in about something that preferably isn't gonna push me into anything that I'm not ready to do." Alexis says nervously as she looks down.
"Of course. What's on your mind?" Hampton asks before Alexis gestures for him to follow to a nearby room before the two shut the door.
"Well I..." Alexis says as she begins talking to Hampton.
*Timeskip*
"Hey Fifi. What you got their?" Alexis asks as she later finds Fifi reading a newspaper.
"Oh uh nothing dear. Nothing at all." Fifi says nervously before Alexis looks closer at the paper.
"Is that a school newspaper? And why does it have my name in the headline?" Alexis ask in alarm.
"You aren't going to like it dear." Fifi says as she shakes her head.
"Fifi let me see it." Alexis says as she holds out her hand.
"Don't say I didn't warn you." Fifi says as she reluctantly hands Alexis the paper.
"Popular girl Alexis Hathaway not as hard to get as she acts? Harboring crush... Fifi take this from me. I can't read it anymore. I can't believe this. I told Hampton that in confidence and privacy." Alexis says angrily as she reads the paper.
"I tried to tell you darling." Fifi says as she takes the newspaper back.
"Who published this? Babs!" Alexis shouts angrily as she sees Babs and Sweetie before going over to them with Fifi.
"Hey Alexis. What's up?" Babs asks curiously.
"Don't what's up me. Did you and Sweetie publish this?" Alexis asks angrily as she gestures to the newspaper.
"What are you talking about?" Sweetie asks confusedly.
"This!" Alexis says as Fifi hands Babs the newspaper.
"Wait. You have a crush on someone?" Sweetie asks curiously as she looks at Alexis.
"Not the point. Why did you do this? What I told Hampton was between me and him. I didn't want anyone to know but Fifi and Hampton." Alexis says angrily.
"Alexis we didn't publish this. And Hampton didn't tell us anything. Are you sure someone didn't over hear?" Babs asks.
"I don't know! Maybe... That doesn't matter now anyway. Now he's gonna find out the minute he reads the paper and our friendship will be down the drain." Alexis says angrily as she turns to leave.
"Alexis wait!" Babs shouts before Alexis ignores her and leaves.
*Timeskip*
"Alexis sweetie I know you're upset but being upset won't help. Why don't you help me clean up the cafeteria? It'll get your mind off it and then you and me can make some cookies together like we used to do when you were sad when you were little. Okay?" Lola asks as Alexis is with her in the cafeteria.
"Yeah. Alright Aunt Lola." Alexis says as she grabs a cloth and goes over to clean the tables.
"Alexis! There you are. We've been looking all over for you." A voice says revealing to be Babs, Sweetie and Hampton.
"What for? To publish more secrets?" Alexis asks angrily.
"We tried to tell you earlier Alexis. That wasn't us." Babs says.
"It was Plucky." Sweetie says.
"What?" Alexis asks as she looks at Babs and Sweetie.
"Sorry Alexis. It's my fault. I was sleep talking. And I let your secret s-s-s.. told Plucky your secret. But I didn't tell him who it was. I truly am awfully sorry." Hampton says ashamedly.
"You didn't read the whole paper Alexis. Hampton didn't tell Plucky it is my brother you like. So Buster doesn't know." Babs says.
"How do you two know?" Alexis asks curiously.
"I told them after they told me what Plucky did. I only told them because you thought it was in the paper." Hampton says.
"Your secret is still safe Alexis. Don't worry. All Buster knows is that you've got a crush on someone. But let's just say Plucky isn't getting off so easy. He got Buster too and he wasn't happy." Babs says.
"So Buster doesn't know?" Alexis asks.
"No. And we're sorry that happened Alexis. But we won't tell Buster so don't worry." Sweetie says.
"But if you want someone to talk to about it you can always talk to us. It's okay to have a crush on someone." Babs says.
"Even if you're big on keeping your mind on school it's okay to have a life outside of that." Sweetie says.
"Thanks guys. But if it's okay I just wanna be alone for right now." Alexis says.
"Alright Alexis. We'll let you be. We just wanted to tell you what happened." Babs says.
"I appreciate it. Thanks." Alexis says as the others leave while she goes back to cleaning.
