"Oh I can not believe it! Elective day is finally here!" Fifi says happily as she and Alexis walk around the adults with their electives set up.
"I know right. What class are you taking?" Alexis asks.
"Lola's cooking class." Fifi says.
"Me too." Alexis says as she and Fifi laugh upon singing the sign up sheet.
"It's good to see you girls. I'm glad you both are gonna be in my class." Lola says as she comes over.
"We are too Aunt Lola." Alexis says as she smiles.
"Well I gotta get back to work. I'll see you girls in class." Lola says.
"We look forward to it." Alexis says as Lola walks off.
"Hey Alexis. I see you and Fifi chose an elective. Lola's class should be fun." A voice says revealing to be Buster as Alexis gives a nervous look.
"Oh um... Yeah." Alexis says as she avoids eye contact with Buster.
"What elective did you choose Buster?" Fifi asks curiously.
"Toony Ball! I was great at it in high school. Me and Sweetie both are taking it." Buster says happily.
"Wow! That sounds fun. Don't you think so Alexis?" Fifi asks as she looks at Alexis.
"Oh um yeah... Fun..." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Hey so Alexis I was hoping you and I could talk. Do you care if we-" Buster then gets cut off by Alexis.
"Oh uh would you look at the time! I uh should get back to our dorm Fifi. Lots of homework. Not much time. Uh bye!" Alexis says nervously before she leaves.
*Timeskip*
"You know you can not avoid him forever darling." A voice says revealing to be Fifi as Alexis is at the Toony Ball game.
"Ah! Fifi! What are you doing here?" Alexis asks nervously.
"I came to support our Toony Ball team. What are you doing here?" Fifi asks.
"The same thing." Alexis says as Fifi sits beside her.
"Uh-huh. And you're sure it's not because you want to watch and support Buster without talking to him?" Fifi asks.
"No. Buster being here is completely coincidental." Alexis says as she crosses her arms.
"Sure it is. As I said you can't avoid him forever dear. You're gonna have to talk to him eventually." Fifi says.
"No I won't. I can do things without talking to Buster." Alexis says.
"Alexis you literally bolted earlier darling because you're still embarrassed about that whole paper thing. And he doesn't even know!" Fifi says
"I'll talk to him when I'm ready Fifi. For now I'm happy with supporting him from afar." Alexis says.
"Oh! Looks like couch Leghorn just benched star player Buster. That's gonna hurt the team." Dean Granny says.
"Buster got benched?" Fifi asks in surprise.
"Looks like he was just wanting to win." Alexis says
"That's not how you should play the game." Fifi says.
"Yeah I know." Alexis says.
"Oh looks like star player Buster is back out on the field! And he's all smiles! Must of been one of them peppy talks." Dean Granny says.
"Come on Buster. You guys can do it!" Alexis shouts as Buster and his team begin playing.
"Come on ACME! Come on!" Fifi shouts.
"And ACME wins!" Dean Granny shouts.
"Yes!" Alexis and Fifi shout as they cheer with others.
*Timeskip*
"That was a good game." Fifi says as she and Alexis are walking outside the stadium.
"Yeah. It was." Alexis says.
"Hey Alexis, Fifi." A voice says revealing to be Buster.
"Buster! Uh..." Alexis says nervously.
"Fifi can you give Alexis and me a minute?" Buster asks as he looks at Fifi.
"Of course." Fifi says as she leaves causing Alexis to give a nervous look.
"Oh would you look at the time. I should uh be going!" Alexis says as she begins to leave only for Buster to stop her by grabbing her wrist.
"Alexis wait! Please." Buster says.
"Let my wrist go Buster." Alexis says as she avoids turning to look at Buster.
"Not until you talk to me. You've been avoiding me since the whole newspaper thing and I wanna know why? I don't understand. If you hate me for some reason will you at least just tell me?" Buster says as Alexis sighs.
"I don't hate you Buster. It's complicated." Alexis says sadly.
"Than tell me what's wrong. Please. I miss having my best friend around." Buster says sadly.
"I was avoiding you because of what Plucky said in the paper about me. He revealed something I didn't want revealed and I was afraid you'd find out." Alexis says as she looks at Buster.
"Alexis I'd never laugh at you. Not like that anyway." Buster says as he looks at Alexis sympathetically.
"I don't want it to ruin our friendship." Alexis says as she looks down.
"Then don't tell me about what Plucky said. Just be my friend again. I hate you avoiding me. I want my friend back. Since you've been avoiding me I thought I did something to make you hate me." Buster says as he lets go of Alexis's wrist and rubs his arm.
"I'm sorry Buster. I didn't mean to make you feel like this. I don't hate you. I want to be back around you too. I miss being around you and your goofball toon antics." Alexis says as she smiles softly at Buster.
"So does that mean you're gonna hang around me again?" Buster asks as he smiles.
"Yeah. It does." Alexis says as she nods happily.
"Phew. Good. Glad to have you around again." Buster says happily as he smiles.
"Good to be around again. So you wanna go get drinks at the Loo Bru?" Alexis asks as she gestures to another direction.
"I'd love to. I missed getting drinks with you." Buster says happily.
"I missed it too." Alexis says happily.
